Moonanigans, part one

minecraft is a form of self-care for me. i've enjoyed it alone, i've enjoyed it with friends, in survival mode, in creative mode, etc. it's fun.

or at least it's supposed to be.

jk, jk. it is.

see, today i went hunting for materials because silly me insists in making cute builds whilst not in creative mode. because i needed stone bricks, i went mining. after dealing with a difficulty to find coal and iron, and dealing with monsters in a mine shaft i found, i died in the hands of two skeletons and a creeper and had multiple close calls. good prevailed in the end as i was able to regain my valuables and materials after the incident.

regardless, i also found my first diamond in this world, a mine shaft, and a lush cave biome, plus i finally started building!

it reminded me why i play in survival, because it's still a thrill. it's that little extra, the one that helps me gain some experience, literally and figuratively, the one that makes me feel twice as accomplished when i finish a build.

and i needed this today :)

ah, also, my cat ran away from me, and i adopted two dogs. i don't know what to name them yet.

in the background is the beginning of my main cottage, this is just for the purpose of living and hanging out. my actual base will be a bit more elaborate (hint: underground, perhaps?)

#We spent like last night finding a good cherry Grove and building (finding a taiga biome to get spruce)

got really invested in my idea of the endermen reproducing via spores and taking on traits and elements from their environments that I went all in and started doing concepts for different biome-specific enderman designs
