Hiiiii, I’m curious about your Ultraman collection. Care to give me an info dump about all your cool stuff?

I'd love to! Here's a very brief overview of the collection thus far.

This is the henshin/transformation device shelf. Starting from the top left and working across, there's the Dark Z Riser (from Ultraman Z), Saki's Gyro (Ultraman R/B), D-Flasher (Ultraman Decker), the Sparklence (Ultraman Tiga), and the Reiflasher (Ultraman Dyna). Those last two are tv-prop quality.

The next shelf down is entirely Ultraman Trigger stuff, including the Ancient, Dark, and GUTS Spark Lenses, and a bunch of Hyper Keys.

Below that is the Orb Ring and the Orb Calibur (From Ultraman Orb), and then the Geed Rizer, Ultra Capsules, King Sword, and the Neo Zero Eye (from Ultraman Geed).

This is the old Ultra Monster Series shelf for figures 2012 and back. I have some vintage figures from the 70s mixed in there, all with the tags.

This is the new Ultra Monster Series shelf, holding all of the smaller, less detailed figures from the new UMS line starting in 2013.

Here is a big shot of the SH Figuarts shelves + the new and old Ultra Hero Series lines. The very top has New Gen DX-scale figures. The lower shelves have all the new Blazar stuff as well as some rarer boxed UHS figures.

Needs someone who isn't afraid of motorcycles or constantly worries about his safety. He doesn't ride recklessly, so Nekome doesn't want to hear lectures and such.

Hinata needs a partner who can handle his brattiness, mood swings, and teasing. No, he will not stop. That's just who he is, and if you don't like it, you are not meant to be together.

I've come to bless you all with some Taiga Era Secrets!

Taiga was actually supposed to marry someone her parents had selected for her, but she ran away, and sought shelter with a peculiar spider boy and his family..

In the Tumblr Au, Little Akuma didn't know what a cult was at the time, so she assumed it was a type of food.

Rui had told her about the Uppermoons, specifically Douma. The cult leader had peaked her interest the most because of his rare features and "Annoying" personality, as Rui had put it.

Taiga changed her name to "Taiga Ayaki-DeMarco" to honor Rui, who gave her shelter and warmth when she needed it.

Taiga's as strong as Akaza when she's at her full strength, which is surprising considering her small amount of Muzan's blood. Then again, she was already very strong when she was a human..

Despite her impressive fluency in the language, Taiga isn't Japanese, shes Italian/Sicilian. Her parents know basic Japanese, but not as much as Taiga and her siblings.

One of the reasons Taiga fell in love with Douma was because he made her feel more loved than she ever felt.

Even though he lacks the common ability to feel emotions, Douma grew attached to Taiga in a way. She made him feel small sparks of emotion, which is something he hasn't felt in a long time.

there are 2 types of fusion in the ultraman series. one is the type you think of when you hear the word 'fusion' where the ultramen literally combine into one making a whole new ultra. examples being ultraman legend (cosmos+justice) ultraman saga (zero+dyna+cosmos) and ultraman gingavictory (ginga+victory). theres no one way to do it, sometimes theres a separate collectible or item made from multiple powers, and sometimes its an upgrade, and in gingavictorys case he has a fusion brace but the way to fuse is actually touching the ginga spark and victory lancer together in an ultra touch. weirdo

the second type is one ultraman recieving the power and strength of multiple other ultramen(and humans in some cases). these make fusion forms instead of fusion ultras. examples are super ultraman taro (taro+ultra brothers) ultraman mebius phoenix brave (mebius+hikari,GUYS) and ultraman taiga tri-strium (taiga+titas,fuma,hiroyuki). i wonder if normal forms made with the powers of other ultras could technically count? i guess thats just to keep the title of super ultra special cuz new gen ultras use other powers to make forms all the time but you only get Super Fusion Ultra title if tsuburaya productions thinks you deserve it

there seems to be no limit to how many ultras can fuse as reiga is a fusion between ELEVEN ULTRAMEN. its also not really explained how this works so whoo give a shit lets make a fusion out of every ultraman that has ever existed

" are your scars the reason you don't wear shorts ? " a slow blink, as gaze moves upwards to look up at him. even sitting, rangi is taller than him, and he finds himself mentally pouting about the fact. built like a house motherfucker, he thinks. " it's never the same after a tbaear like that -- most athletes can return to playing after pt and surgery, but the spark isn't the same anymore is it ? " although that isn't really the topic at hand, " yeah, well you showed them huh. " a shrug, and a long pause as shuuzou struggles with putting the next sentence togeher, " i'm glad you left. " he shrugs, taking a sip of his drink, " how are you feeling about being back ? "

to be specific of how in sync they are, the two have a special move they developed together! this involves midorima's ability to make a basket from anywhere on the court, combined with takao's incredible ability to accurately pass to his teammates! its dubbed as the "sky direct three point shot" which basically involves midorima jumping in the air, doing the motion of doing a three pointer, and takao passing the ball INTO MIDORIMA'S HANDS right before he shoots! this effectively gives midorima an instantaneous shot, virtually unblockable! and the series does emphasize that the two practiced quite a bit to get this move to work! but the results speak for themselves, as its probably one of the strongest moves in the entire series!!"

I don’t think any song takes you an an emotional rollercoaster quite like Kotoki Taiga’s Caucasian Destination does. 

before the song even begins, the tension is palpable.

You and your group, who’ve practiced countless hours, all striving together for your shared dream, lose to your uncle, one of the people who put on the original event that sparked your goal. This would be somewhat conceivable if he didn’t just sing whatever that was. To anyone who understands english, any seriousness of the moment went out the window, transformed into anything between concern, confusion, or disgust within 9 words, and then leaned more heavily in to confusion as time went on, potentially ending in laughter, maybe beginning at the end of the bridge.

tldr: incredibley serious and tense moment is ruined by a gong show of an attempt to have a cool song in another language.

More info regarding M421 Ultras

In a recent interview, Taguchi clarified that Blazar's species isn't actually primitive and that Blazar's behaviour is just part of their nature from M421

It's just that their race specializes in hunting kaiju, which is also considered a tradition for their species

This makes sense considering how the technology of the Blazar Brace seems on par with the Taiga Spark and UlTrans

So we'd most likely see Blazar being able to communicate with ultras of other planets properly
