Thinking about this one au i had like a year ago where sonic was raised in a cult and killed as a sacrifice to light gaia and is saved by tails who was a young boy gifted necromancy powers.

They get along becayse sonic was someone who had seen nothing of the world and wanted to explore it and Tails was someone who had seen to much of the world and needed to be protected from it
