✹ Day 07: FREE DAY

HAPPY KDFD/FDKD DAY!!!! HAPPY W PLAYMAKERS DAY!!!! Best day in the year (hahah) You know I wanted to do a super big drawing today with all my prompts from the Summer Festival list, but I didn't bc I hadn't enough time so... this one was going to be the core drawing of the drawing. It's a scenne I often use in my fics as a photo that Fudou and Kidou have and are very fond of. They are holding hands through a Summer Festival when Haruna tooks a photo and everything is a little messy: They are caught by surprise and their friends are doing random things. (Haizaki has a teddy bear cosplaying Trafalgar Law because they share the same VA). Also in the bg they're Genda and Meza Aito (from Shin Teikoku and who I hc is Fudou & Shinobu's cousin) I wanted to properly draw Fudou's t-shirt once... (last time it wasn't very visible) because jokes about dinosaurs and maths/physics are best jokes for him (maybe with subtle o not-so-subtle dirty jokes too).

1 Who would end a heated argument by defending their actions with ‘because I love you!’ ?

Both can end saying that depending on the circumstances, but Fudou is more likely to do it as he is more prone to shout his love for Kidou without thinking twice about when he is saying it. Also it is more likely that Fudou’s actions need to be defended more times than Kidou’s. Like when putting itchy powder in the shirts of the classmates that laughed at Kidou in high school, or running at 1 AM though Inazuma to give back something he just remembered he borrowed.

4. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

Both. They’re fucking overprotective witch each other once they start dating and as they get older. Before dating, Fudou is the more protective one. While Fudou is protective usually in a more subtle way, being sure Kidou’s life is comfortable and he has everything he needs in each moment, like in the little details and the little love gestures; Kidou is just overprotective to the point that they argue about it because Fudou doesn’t understand that Kidou gets so angry with him for driving when there’s a storm or it’s late for example. Or doesn’t see the point to argue with him because he wants to go to the Convenience Store at 11:00PM if they don’t have Kidou’s favorite chocolate from there. Or sleeping with the hair wet. But Kidou panics thinking that Fudou can have an accident, be assaulted, get sick or that something bad can happen to him and then he’ll lose his most loved one again. Once Kidou tells Fudou that, he’ll become sympathetic and stop being so reckless.

BUT don’t dare say something bad them in presence of the other or they’ll murder you.

Both need to be protected somehow. Kidou needs the emotional stability and unconditional support and love that Fudou gives him and that makes him not overthink about everything, especially his past, and makes him feel loved for who he is without having to put on a mask. Fudou needs the love and engagement that Kidou gives him and that makes him feel secure and that he is not going to be abandoned.

23. Who’s more likely to convince the other to stay in bed come morning?

Fudou, because Kidou isn’t as much of a morning person as he tried to be when he was a teenager and wanted to make his father proud. Instead he likes to stay in bed until late in the morning if they have a free day, hugging and kissing Fudou while talking about simple things like the beauty of parabolic shots in football or even watching something together.

28. What are their thoughts on pet names? Do they have any?

Sakuma only uses pet names when very affectionate, he calls Genda from normal things like “love” to “my king” or “lion”. Genda calls Sakuma from time to time Prince Penguin, Feathered Majesty or when teasing, Pirate Boy, Sakuma hates it. Normally he calls him “love”.

35. Who’s more artistic?

Both are artistic but in different ways.

Genda is very good with wood and food. The best Halloween Pumpkins are always his. He is gifted at plating and decorating cakes. Sakuma is good with designing and drawing, specially with logos he goes with very creative designs.

12. Do they have many heated arguments? How do they smooth things over?

They both are short-tempered so it’s usual they get into arguments and that they become heated, with other people and between them.

But they have this rule that when they cool down and before going to bed they have to make up with each other, because above everything else they really love each other. Also they usually argue because stupid things and they know it so they don’t hold any grudge, the important things are properly talked about.

They smooth things talking, maybe saying “You were so fucking dumb and so was me.” Then they laugh, joking about what happened and after being sure they’re feeling good, they kiss and have a nice time together.

31. Can they sit side by side without touching the other or are they handsy? (lacing fingers, touching knees, etc.)

They can sit without touching, but why do it when they can try and annoy the other and all the people in the same room (aka Sakuma) as much as possible sitting in the most weird positions (they learned from Fudou). Like both sitting with their legs over the other or whatever bad idea they have. Anyways they are very touchy-feely with each other.

ShinoHaru

42. What’s their favorite type of weather to enjoy together? (getting snowed in together, watching thunderstorms, etc.)

They like to jump puddles while it's raining, they put on the rain jackets and rain boots and go jumping some puddles and splashing everywhere. After that they’ll return home and take a warm bath. Once they’re out, if it's cold they’ll drink some hot cocoa and if it’s hot they’ll drink iced tea while continuing to see the rain from inside the house.

44. Who would dance in the kitchen making dinner? Would the other join in or watch from the doorway?

Haruna, she turns on the radio while making dinner and sings. If the song is good enough, something that always happens, she ‘dances’ while cooking. Shinobu, who is helping because they like to make dinner together, also sings and they both end dancing in the kitchen once the food doesn’t need more supervision. But if Shinobu isn’t there from the start, she prefers to watch Haruna from the doorway for a while before entering the kitchen.

MezaIya

28. What are their thoughts on pet names? Do they have any?

As they were friends since very little they had a lot of nicknames for each other than once they started dating continued to exist but with a new meaning. So now when Meza calls Iyatani, Oompa Loompa or Tom Thumb, is with all his love for him. And when Iyani calls Meza Cyclops or Camera Freak, is also with love. Not that they use these names when intimate anyways. They prefer to call each other names when they are in a more romantic setting.

34. Who’s more likely to tell a dirty joke or story to make the other blush?

Iyatani. He has neither self-restraint nor shame and Meza despite everything is kinda shy for those things. What’s more, Iyatani enjoys making Meza blush. 

51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you?

Taking photos together, when a kid Iyatani disliked a lot being in photos because of his scar, until Meza told him that the scar made him look so cool, like a goblin slayer in a fantasy world or a humanoid semi cyborg looking for revenge in a sci-fi one. Then Meza (with the help of his cousins) kicked the asses of the kids who mocked Iyatani. Since that day Iyatani didn’t mind appearing in photos with him (only if Meza was there or was the one taking it). So being in photos with Meza is an important way to say how much he loves him. Iyatani also listens with a soft smile when Meza blabbes about whatever as the nerd he is and makes him lemonade in summer.

Meza knows Iyatani loves animals so he always takes photos when he sees one. He also like to hug him from behind while watching movies and kisses Iyatani’s forehead when he is asleep.

Happy Lunar New Year

New side blog just for my art (as always mainly Inazuma Eleven but I'll post other things too) and what is better for starting than some Bunny KdFd and Bunny ShinoHaru for the Lunar New Year? My friend @miyabinopenguin and me had this idea of drawing KdFd as bunnies and tag it with "Bunny KdFd", if someone wants to join us is more than welcomed! Never is enough KdFd, you can rate it as you want (I'll post a spicy KdFd too). Also any media is fine: art, stories, edits... Lina designed Shinobu's look for Inazuma Eleven Go version.
