introduction post!! ♥️💫

my name is valentine, i am twenty-one years old. the purpose of this blog is to air out my tokyo-ghoul-centric thoughts. i have been apart of the tokyo ghoul fandom for almost ten years! i had some presence on the wattpad and instagram branches of the fandom back in the day, but those days are long behind me now. i have interests in other animes & mangas, but most likely will not be posting about them here. feel free to ask me about them, though!!

i live in the united states northeast, but i have internet friendships with people all over the world!! some longer than others, but all very valuable to me. any friendships i make here on tumblr will be of great value too!! i'm hoping to meet and befriend lots of other tokyo ghoul fans here! i would prefer than any friends i make on here be eighteen and older, please!!

i have several tokyo ghoul ocs, who i plan to share here when i feel less shy about them ><!! some of them are connected to preexisting canon characters, and some are not! i hope that you all will be excited for them either way!! there are also some tokyo ghoul characters i am particularly fond of, including:

• kishou arima (my most favorite character ever!)

• tatara (my second most favorite character ever!)

• rize kamishiro

• haise sasaki

• the entire quinx squad (old gen & new gen!)

• karren von rosewald

• shuu tsukiyama

• matsumae

• take hirako

• nutcracker

i am very fond of everyone else too, but to a lesser extent. i also have fondness that fluctuates in intensity for different characters at different times. i'm more than happy to talk about pretty much anyone in the series!! all tg characters have each taken up some space in my brain at some point in time.

i am the coiner of rizemayu (rize x nutcracker) and i encourage you all to join me in shipping it!!

I chose that Arima has a creepy notebook/scrapbook/whatever the heck he needs it to be, where he hides all his emotions

One day Marude just sees his notebook, paint drying snaps a photo and leaves before Arima comes back

He sends this to people (Shinohara, Amon, Both Mado, Ui, and Take, + some others,) and one of them (maybe Shinohara) starts a group chat with people who Marude sent this to

Before that he was like what, what the heck?!?

Like everyone was surprised, except Juuzou, who found out be stealing Shinohara’s phone.

Like they all freak out because they can’t read any of his hand writing, it take 1 week for Marude and Mado working together(!) to decrypt the the words

Take is just like wha? Why did he keep this s a secret. Like he cares about Arima, despite him not showing it much. He knows about the garden. He just didn’t think that it would effect him this much

Shinohara knows that he saw Arima with a red line on his neck multiple times in the past, always trying to hide it. This just confirms it, also the fact that he thinks of ghouls, like the binge eater, as family creeps him out and he is disgusted by it

Mado is surprised when the uncover the one that says half ghoul, he knew something was up with Arima, but didn’t everybody at first. He wonders about why Arima can eat normal food and why he does eat humans, more research to be done. (I say it all like he is calm because I can’t translate to Kureo speech with how many thought are I my brain at this moment)

(Marude is horrified and-

Okay, my mind has calmed down….. If anyone likes this idea you can add on to it, or if the characterization is off, pls fix it

Also the ghouls other than Rize are made up, just wanted to create some random ghouls to use

Let me make it very clear. I do not know how I painted the blood on Arima’s shirt. It was a fluke. And I am failing to replicate it…

arima and hirako drive me insane to the point of nausea. they're one of my fav tokyo ghoul ships. they're yuri. they're yaoi. they're whatever i want them to be whenever i want them to be. they're divorced. arima trusted on singular person with his master plan and it was hirako. hirako quit on the spot after arima died to make sure his plan for kaneki worked out. arima is a cat person (to me). hirako is a dog person (canon). hirako is one of two people to inherit arima's first quinque (yukimura). when they drink together they sit in complete silence. hirako looked after the zero squad kids as if they were his own. so much potential here.
