with mox getting injured at dynamite and people talking about in ring safety and communication again, i enjoyed these two veterans giving some insight and i loved how they talked about their communication while things were happening

Chapter 3

I trust you already

Chyna smiles seeing you share a hug with Lita before going up to Rey, a few people decided to have a small cookout at the park consisting of herself, Eddie, rey, Matt, lita, Edge, Trish, Jeff, Rikishi, Kane, Undertaker, and now you. She feels a wave of pure childlike joy wash over her as she watches you talk with edge, noticing the sibling like bond between the two of you that had formed in a short amount of time until you smile and share a hug with her making her laugh sweetly as the two of you talk to each other with rey, eddie, and edge joining the conversation while undertaker cooked on the grill noticing how no one really talked to him slowly walking to him and standing a few feet away showing a small smile when he looks over and sees you sitting on the ground fixing your shoe. You start talking to him which confuses him and surprises everyone when they notice it feeling afraid when they see him lean towards you until his hand was gently patting the top of your head making you giggle happily and smile at the tall man who only smiles back at you with a chuckle as he grills while the two of you talk to each other as if you had been friends for years as The rock, Mick Foley, Ivory, and Torrie Wilson arrived and each are in shock of seeing you rather than being grabbed and thrown instead being gently lifted by kane who puts you on his shoulders making everyone stare in shock until edge breaks the silence "You having fun up there?" he laughs as he sees the childlike awe and joy on your face as kane walks around the park carrying you "What just happened?" everyone looks at mick with many different looks while mick raises his hands in surrender as you laugh while kane walks back with you still on his shoulders. Everyone hangs out and talks while eating with you sitting in between edge and chyna while undertaker and kane were across from you, after eating you walk around the park you hear Triple H and wave at him until suddenly Stephanie slaps you with all her might knocking you on the ground as you yell out in pain alerting everyone who come running seeing kane and taker choke slam triple h and letting edge spear him while lita and trish go to town on stephanie before handing her to ivory and torrie as you look above you to see chyna, you groan in pain as she lifts you up and checks you luckily you were only bruised and sore as rey hands you ice packs to lay on while chyna sits next to you comforting you when you cried in pain or confusion of why you were attacked by the husband and wife duo, "I'm gonna make sure they pay" she holds your head in her lap as you lay in pain until she starts massaging your scalp which has you slowly dozing off "I never felt this safe with someone before" she smiles as the two of you talk quietly "I never trusted anyone as much as I trust you already". Eddie looks on at the sweet moment before calling Vince and asking if they not only could have a match against triple h and steph but a ten person tag team match in two teams of five and he immediately agrees deciding on your team being of yourself, chyna, edge, rey, and eddie going against triple h, stephanie, X-Pac, Shane, and Tori immediately telling the two men before going up to seen you asleep in chyna's lap telling her about their upcoming match, later on after waking up you look to see Christian next to you "Why lavender?" you look up at him and smile fondly "It's different, what I learned from watching wrestling before I started training was each person has their own identity, and no matter the name there is always an incredible person behind the name" he smiles before you follow up "Plus it is the first thing I came up with...Natalie Lavender is my ring name" you get emotional explaining how you chose the first name for your sister who had passed and you wanted to honor her knowing she would be by your side cheering you on sharing a hug with chyna when she brings you tissues.

one of the funniest things I've ever heard a wwe superstar say was when undertaker and mick foley rewatched their infamous hell in a cell match. mick was explaining how he paced around the top of the cell nervously as taker's entrance played, and taker said "that was one of the few times someone wanted me to walk even slower" lmao

I have my script for my Hell in a Cell video written out but I’ve been planning on just posting it to my blog. But now Edge and Finn are set to go head to head at Mania. Do I work my ass off to get it done in time or do I just add them to the script and put it on my blog come the end of June for the anniversary of Foley vs Taker at King of the Ring 98? Maybe make the video but post it in June?

There's been a bunch of them. Honorable mentions, for sure: Austin, 'Taker, Rock for sure, Mick Foley. But if there's one guy where I could have rolled out of bed on five minutes' notice, and as long as I got my boots tied in time we could have gone out there and done 45 minutes and tore it up without ever looking at each other beforehand? It would have had to have been Shawn.

When we're talking 25 years, we're talking 25 years of friendship and traveling up and down the road. We joke about it now: I know what he's going to say sometimes before he says it. He knew what I was going to do in the ring before I did it. Even now, doing NXT, we can be in an arena watching something that we're trying to produce, and we make eye contact and know exactly what each other are thinking. So if I was going to say anybody, it would be Shawn. Which is more of a credit to him than to me, because he probably could have done that with anybody.

Happy 24th Anniversary to the sickest Hell in a Cell match ever. EVER!!! Had to load up WWF King in the Ring on Peacock. Foley and Undertaker risked life and limb to put on an amazing performance.

Taker climbing the cage with a broken foot. Foley taking a header off the cage and a chokeslam through the top of the cage. And then there were the thumbtacks. If ever there was ever a match where a "Holy Shit" chant applied, it was this one.

The Week in Pro-Wrestling - Late August '23

I've had pro-wrestling in my life since 1990, maybe even 1 or 2 years before 1990 but what I haven't forgotten are the memories, I was a hardcore fan from 1991 up until around 2005. It was mostly WWF/WWE, Hulkamania up to Cena's rise to main event.

I'm not a Terry Funk guy but in the back of my mind, from all the history I've read, he is an absolute legend. I remember discovering he wrestled in the WWF mid-80's peak-Hulkamania. I know him more for his 90's run as a hardcore legend, he was in WWF again in 1997 and 1998.

Terry Funk was visibly seem mid-match in the infamous Taker/Foley HIAC. He was WCW hardcore champ in the company's dying days. His memorable ECW title win, I don't think it was meant to be but "it was what it was".

His five star "I Quit" match with Flair is something I'd put in the top 20 matches I've watched.

He was a world champ in the NWA and a legend in Japan. RIP Funk.

Bray Wyatt passed away. Life is fragile. You never know, when your time is up. Bray was still in his 30's, too young, health will always be number 1 in anyone's life, we all have health conditions we are born with but what we are most responsible for is the lifestyle we choose. We don't want to progress some illness we already have.

Bray was unique, after guys like Cena and CM Punk, he was one of the few guys in the WWE roster that stood out. Big loss to the Pro-wrestling industry as a whole, he could have been in AEW and be one of it's monster heels.

In contrast to Terry Funk, Bray was on the rise years after I continued to keep an eye on pro-wrestling as a casual fan. His stuff was good, I'm almost sure I would have appreciated it more if I were a young fan that time the Wyatt's was a thing, sometimes the cynicism we develop can make us too critical and forget it's a show.

On the lighter side of things, The AEW show in London should be interesting, this will make or break them. This is an overseas show in a huge stadium, if they gain much popularity from this, this means they are marketable worldwide. I don't know enough about the AEW product, from what I see, they are half and half when it comes putting out anything that might pass as revolutionary.

Groundbreaking? Sure, they established themselves as the alternative but other than that, what they're doing is pretty repetitive after the first 1 and a half year. What strikes the most is CM Punk in, Cody out. Not as shocking as it seems. They're almost like an American version of NJPW with a very 90's version of WWF, WCW and ECW. I know Mr. Khan is a big fan but without getting into it, it's not really a good thing. Going retro with new talents can hardly be 100% truly progressive.

I love Roman but the fact that wrestling inc tried to say Roman is more dominant than Rock cuz it's a much longer reign is stupidity.

Reigns is in a time where the top card is struggling for legit main eventers; the Rock couldn't have had a longer reign CUZ THE ATTITUDE ERA DIDN'T ALLOW IT FOR ANYBODY. You can't have a lengthy reign when the era you're in has a stacked top card where every guy is a megastar and futher HoFer.

The Rock went up against the likes of Austin, Triple H, Angle, Foley, Taker, Kane, Big Show, and Chris Jericho.

It's stupidity to compare. Roman hasn't faced anybody truly legit aside from Brock, Seth and maybe KO if you see him in that category (debatable to me) and soon Cody. He just hasn't had the opponents Rock had that make it impossible to have the title for long.

One of Mick Foley's children was on social media upset that Undertaker didn't reference Mick Foley and their iconic match last night in his speech. Knowing that Taker couldn't possibly remember everyone from his career..... what do you think?

As you can tell, this will mostly focus on my side.

Let’s start off with a clarification: No, I did research Reverse Flash. Liam Swan did. I don’t know why I got credited for it (probably because I did Iron Man and they forgot to change the researcher). But no, I did not look into Reverse Flash.

So let’s get two things out of the way first: Why did I not scale Macho Man to the Undertaker. Well, for televised matches the Macho Man never defeated the Undertaker. Opponents that the Undertaker defeated like Yokozuna Macho Man only beaten once. And while I was comfortable of scaling him to Hogan, he doesn’t come close to the opponents the Undertaker has fought. Undertaker has beaten Hogan more than Hogan did and let us not forget what Brock Lesnar did to Hogan. Sadly, Taker is like Darkseid in Wrestling. He’s the top dog that only a few can say scale.

So how did I researched this? Well, using my knowledge of wrestling as well as a website that tracks statistics, I researched key events of wrestling, funny moments from all over the place in the wrestling world, and of course looked at many of the Slim Jim Commercials. I also looked at many of the roles Macho Man had as an actor. After all, no matter the role he’s playing Macho Man.

I thought a good number of feats would come from the Rock N’ Wrestling cartoon. After all, its a cartoon so they can do so many cartoony things. To my surprise they didn’t really do much. The most impressive feat I’ve seen is Captain Lou throwing Mean Gene to the top of the Statue of Liberty while they were somewhere in the city. And FYI, the live action segments were more entertaining than the cartoons.

Speaking of cartoons, I’ve saw the Hanna Barbera Crossovers, including seeing the Flintstones one for the first time. My favorites of the Bunch of are the Scooby Doo ones. And they also happen to contain the Miz in them. Coincidence? Probably not.

Rasslor was basically Macho Man from space, so I used him in my scaling process as well. Which means I can use the fact he beaten up every Justice Friends and Monkey to my advantage. Sadly, since Monkey had difficulty fighting Barbequor and had to use a spoon from the Silver Spooner to make him throw up, I got at least planetary destruction.

Did you know there was a He-Man/WWE crossover? He was Man at Arms, so he didn’t get a whole lot out of it other than armor and weapons. 

I also looked into the WWE Cartoons made for the network (before moving to the Peacock). My favorite of the bunch was from WWE Storytime, where the people at Lowbrow Studios animated various wrestling stories. My favorite episode came from Season 3 Episode 4. Paul Hayman tells a story about when he was managing Ric Rude. I think that was the best story.

AEW didn’t have much going for feats. Its great for wrestling but not for wanting wacky stuff. But I did mention the ring explosion. I also was sure to mention many highlights from Chikara. I also found out he was on Family Feud to represent the Forces of Good against the Alliance of Evil. They lost 2 to 3.

So should wrestlers come back to WWE? I would like to think so. With the Rock, Hulk Hogan and John Cena you could put them in using roles from their movies. The Undertaker has a ton of stuff from the Chaos Comics that would make him a totally different beast than what you saw here. And of course, Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) Vs Negan from Walking Dead is one I am pushing because Negan got his gimmick from him. The next time you’ll see me with this, it will be with Akuma an his opponent.

AFTER THE RELEASE

Why no Brawlhalla mention? - To me, that was more of a skin. And I wanted to bring something that had the soul of Macho Man, not just the body. And if anything with just the look of Macho counted, I would have to look at that certain South Park Episode.

Why weren’t any Commentator Feats included? -  Commentary tends to say a lot of things during commentary. Like how Heel Commentators tend to overplay the Heel as a good guy, Face Commentators tend to oversell what a Face can do despite evidence otherwise. And as Botchmania showed, the commentators are fallible. So I use feats with video evidence.

I want to get into Wrestling, what would you recommend? - Honestly, just watch any wrestling you have access too. WWE is on Monday, Tuesday and Friday Nights. AEW is usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. There are numerous streaming sites containing numerous wrestling matches. The WWE Network is included with Peacock. Other wrestling shows on other nights. Today is the best generation to just jump into anything and watch.

But if you have to show a match? - Stonecold Vs Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 13. Its a brutal match that shows the drama and storytelling you can find in wrestling. This also includes a double turn.

Really wish Shane did more matches in his career, he surprised me with what he actually put out at like what 46 years old? Throwing himself off the cage like that? Straight up Mick Foley/ECW shit.
