here's a fun little story

so I'm aroace, but didn't know that was a thing as a kid, I was (and still am) a massive nerd, and I have pretty severe auditory processing disorder.

so when this song came out I was 8, you couldn't just google lyrics, and I knew just enough to know that 2 of the women mentioned were killed and the 3rd was a goddess. but I was completely ignorant to attraction of any kind.

so my ass jumped to the wild conclusion that this song was about a woman who had died, and he was singing this as a lament to heaven.

and didn't realise I was wrong until like, 15 years later lmao
