My girlfriend and I have started saying "I'm stuck" when executive dysfunction makes it impossible to move and do the thing. It's honestly been so helpful!

When we hear that we go over to help the other snap out of it with soft kisses or encouragements or gently closing tiktok.

Just read a scientific article that found that we ADHD folks tend to focus on the cost of a task more than the benefits and that medication helps us see the benefits of tasks more which helps with motivation for hard tasks.

And god does that make sense to me, it explains so much! It explains why it's so hard to get anything done no matter how important to me the end result is. I procrastinate even for things I really want like making chocolate chip cookies. My brain just thinks of all the things I would need to do to get those cookies and gives up instead of thinking of how amazing it would be to have freshly baked cookies.

You know what? Your style is gorgeous!

I feel like a lot of people comment on how we should try this style or that one; “you should try having shorter/longer hair” or “you should wear dresses more” or “you should wear more colorful clothes”, “it would suit you so well!”

I know people mean well but constantly hearing about how you should change your style to go with what others like can get hurtful and start to make you feel like you should change your style not because you want to but to please other people.

But you know what style is the best and prettiest? The one that makes you feel confident. The one that makes you feel like yourself. The one that makes you feel comfortable and ready to take on the world!

So you rock that style you beautiful person! You look amazing!

To amazing friends

The last year has been extremely hard but I made it and a lot of that is thanks to my friends. So thank you @justisaisfine, @hufflejess, @rrachilouchoulicious, Sophie and Camille for listening and for making sure I knew that you were there if I needed it. Thank you for giving me a place to stay while I was looking for a new apartment and thank you for making me smile and laugh when it was hard to be happy.  To the beginning of a brand new happier year and most importantly, to amazing friend that I wouldn't give up for the world, you guys are the best <3.
