"To emanate powerfully from someone or something; very intense or conspicuous" is to be radiant. In terms of radiance, I decided to use both the literal and metaphorical meaning. I had a background of golden yellow light emanating from her. In terms of the metaphorical meaning I felt that Poonguzhali personality embodied this. Her wit, kindness, honesty, and resilience made her instantly likeable to everyone both in and out of the novel. Hence, I found her simply radiant.
She represents the Eelam Tamil women in both the Chola dynasty and the modern era. I say this because the novel is written to take place in the 10th century, but is heavily influenced by the 20th century to make the series more palatable to the masses of that time. This movie is very dear to my heart. I felt it would also represent some of myself.

Tamil New Year 2023: The Traditions, History, and Significance
The significance of Tamil New Year is straightforward, despite the fact that it has little religious significance. Puthandu is such an important holiday to the Tamil culture since it is believed that Lord Brahma began the day of his creation on this day. Some claimed that Indra Dev himself appeared on this day to bring peace and joy to the people. As a result, the significance of this day is generally known.
This day represents a new beginning and an opportunity to limitless possibilities. A number of cultural and traditional practises are observed.
Puthandu is observed on the same day throughout India under several names that all serve the same purpose. Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka are among the countries that commemorate the occasion.
