A little bit of reflection on Varian's part...

The poor lad thought he left the vengeful, emotionally charged boy behind in Corona when he redeemed himself. But when Andrew reared his ugly head again and threatened his friends, Varian began to slip back into that angry part of himself that he thought he'd moved past. The captions are him reflecting on the events of that day after the gang has gotten away from Andrew and his antics. And especially when he never wanted to slip back into that version of himself, he feels especially bad for doing so and scaring his friends...

I promise I'll do a proper introduction to the wolf girl soon! Instagram and Discord have seen her, so I'll introduce her properly soon enough!!

Also, I'm SUPER proud of the shading on these drawings. Varian's staff is probably my absolute favorite metallic thing I've ever shaded, and I'm SO proud of the atmosphere on the flashback to Secret of the Sundrop. I drew the entire background, and I love how the shading on Varian turned out, too. Overall, these are some of my favorite scenes I've drawn, outside of another group of 3 that I'll share soon, once I've introduced Grace properly!

Found more stuff about the freak, translation I stayed up too late and came up with more

His name is Kain, Night, Kain Night(its not a serious name its a pun I wanted it to sound like Canine is it funny am I funny yet)

He's 17 in season 3, which makes him 15 in season 1, does not matter because he only appears in season 3

He lives in the forest close to old Corona, so he's not a Corona citizen. Yayy!!!

Apparently Varian and his family knows Kain, even before season 1. So you can say the mf dipped when his homie went mad and rage quit on the whole kingdom like 2 times, only came back with the milk 2 years later

I have an idea of what his red thingies on his skin are but I'm not telling you because im the coolest (I am not)

His personality? Haven't decide, but the outline is that he's one stupid, a bit aggressive and feral forest boy. Definitely more forest than boy

Yeah, I dunno what inspired me to draw this particular scene. Guess I just wanted an excuse to draw Hugo with a smug grin on his face. And yes, it's inspired by a drawing of Hugo that Anna did way back in the day. I just drew his expression in my style LOL And honestly, it's probably my favorite face of Hugo I've ever drawn xD

And yes, Yong is way too distracted telling his mom about the adventure he just had to notice that there's a confrontation happening just outside his window. 🤣

Though oh my God I love how the background (Mainly the tree) turned out. The tree bark?? Next level with the 2 texture brushes I used. It looks so good 😭
