She sometimes could not keep her mouth shut when she saw someone being hurt. Although Nunnally should have learnt by then that defending someone might not always be the best idea. She trembled when the man…the creature...turned his attention to her. Not that she was afraid she could truly be killed but it was neither that she did not: --
“N-no…I…I am sorry…” – she stuttered – “I-I just thought…it looked so unfair…that man seemed so small…so insignificant compared with you…that I just pitied him. But it is true that he might have hurt you and was deserving all that he was getting…I…I am sorry. I should not have interfered if I did not know the facts.”
