18. your boba/tea order?

I do not like tapoica pearls so I don’t really get that sort of tea really often actually sjsjs. If I do, I get it without the pearls and just get a basic milk tea or Thai tea without adding anything to it. I’m really more off an iced coffee drinker above all else sjsj. 

22. do you have an emotional support water bottle?

I have a really cool big reusable tumbler (it feels very weird to include an e there) instead of the usual reusable water bottle that has a pretty purple-ish galaxy pattern on it but I haven’t decorated it with anything like people usually do. I just left it as is but I do use it for all my drink needs sjsj

27. what’s your favorite or go-to outfit?

Oh, I’m incredibly boring and honestly wear just a plain black t-shirt and black jeans most of the time as my go-to with black flats. I wear all black at any given opportunity because it’s just comfortable to me so anything black is my go-to.  If I do wear colors, it’s usual a deep red or a deep purple. As for a favorite outfit, during winter I got this really nice long black sweater with little jewels on it that I really liked and feel good in but since it’s summer I can’t really wear it smh.

Since Valentine's Day is approaching a pink themed drink seemed like a sweet way to start the month of February. I LOVE how the strawberries turned out from the little yellow seeds on the outside to the pink details inside. I hope to make more of these milk tea drinks as well as other styles of drinks throughout the year. Maybe I'll start working on themed food designs too. Stickers are also approaching in the near future. Enjoy!

ronnie: colour - hot pink & lime green. coffee or tea - artificial blood flavoured frappuccino with eyeball garnish. an okay food - any pizza from mario ganghouli's local pizzeria (hector loves it there and orders the one with olives, ham, snails and caramelised spiderwebs. ronnie will eat it but she'll pick off the snails first.)

hector: colour - neon purple. coffee or tea - he'd go for one of those canned super sugary cold coffees you get at convenience stores, but he's a soda guy at heart. an okay food - graveyard-grown pumpkin pie.

annie: colour - seafoam green & black. coffee or tea - deep sea seaweed bubble tea with tapoica pearls. an okay food - the chum casserole her mother likes to make. it's fine, she's just had it a lot growing up.

Recipes for College Kids!

Good evening!! I’ve got a REALLY fun recipe for you! Normally, during this time, I’d get to be exploring my university’s town right now. In my town, there’s a BIG addiction to boba and one night, I really wanted boba. So I found this recipe by “yarn in a wheelbarrow”

TAPIOCA PEARLS

2 oz. fresh or frozen fruit (I used strawberries in mine)

1 1/2 c. tapioca flour (or 3/4 c. cornstarch)

1 Tbsp. sugar (white or brown)

1/4 c. water

INSTRUCTIONS

Place blueberries, water, and sugar in the blender and blend. Then place only 1/4 cups of the tapioca flour in blender and blend.

Before placing in a medium to high heat saucepan, strain into saucepan to get out all the skin and seeds from the blueberries.

Cook on med – high heat until goopy, then add the rest of the 1 1/4 cups of tapoica flour.

Turn off heat, mix and knead mixture until fully combined and cover until ready to roll into pearls.

Cut into small pieces and roll into balls. Make sure the balls are small enough to fit through a boba straw and remember that they will swell once boiled and cooked.

After rolling each pearl place in a small bowl with some tapioca startch so that the pearls do not stick together,

Boil 1-2 cups of water and sift tapioca startch from pearls before placing in boiling water.

Boil for 15-20 minutes. Drain water, place pearls in bowl with sugar for sweetening to taste.
