Honestly…I feel like they will mostly be happy that Yoongi is finally settling down! I feel like this family has been quite dramatic in their approach towards Yoongi settling down, being quite hard on him to do, wanting him to do it sooner rather than later so when it finally happens they will be excited and definitely won’t complain much. They may be quite aware that there are conflicts/differences between the family and the fs, again I don’t believe that these two come from the same background at all, which could cause the family to be a little bit worried, but I don’t see this being an issue.

They will admire the fs’ maturity and overall strength. I feel like these are the traits that will come out straight away. They would feel very positive towards the fs and think that they aren't the type to want to draw attention to themselves  - very humble and modest.

Hi I need some help. I am beginner and was finally getting into tarot but I had to drop it for a bit due to finals and overall stress in my life. I was trying to get back into doing readings for myself again but they don't make any sense to me anymore??? It honestly either feels like my deck is insulting me or just spitting out random cards. I ttied smoke cleansing them and left some clear quarts on it but it didn't really help. Any ideas? Also is it true that you and a certain deck can just not get along no matter how hard you try ;-;

I have a few suggestions here. You could try re-learning tarot starting from the beginning. Perhaps the way it used to make sense to you no longer serves its purpose in your practice and you need to focus on another learning style.

Like if you used to read based solely on the rider-waite meanings you could try focusing on the imagery this time 'round. Or you could read up on what other folks say the meaning of those cards is (by checking out various websites, blogs, etc) and see if that help

Also, in my experience yes, sometimes no matter how hard you try there are some decks you just don't vibe with. I believe this because I view tarot decks as more than just tools, to me they're tools with individual personalities and to some extent spirits.

You can also try reading for others and asking for brutal (but polite) honesty. The most growth I've done in any form of magic or mundane practices is done alongside others so I can get solid and constructive feedback.

But ALSO sometimes your deck is going to insult you, when I'm on some goofy shit my decks will put me in check no matter how well we get along. If it's insulting but true then I suggest you listen lol.

You/"lower self" current energies

Cards: Knight if Cups (reversed) + Wheel of Fortune

The Knight of Cups here represent your lack of confidence regarding this project. You feel that it is a lot to take on and you don't feel quite ready yet. Perhaps you are a bit stuck in the daydreaming stage, toying with whats and ifs and not taking the steps towards your dream just yet. Which is normal if you haven't graduated yet but I see that as an indication that there are things you could do that you are still hesitant in doing because it doesn't feel like it's the right time.

Which we can also see in the Wheel of Fortune, which represent the concept of events unfolding outside of yourself. It does show that you have a strong faith that things are going to happen and change for the better, that you feel that your dream is going to become a reality. But it's rather passive, as in, you think it's going to happen to you at some point but things are still up in the air and outside of your control.

Your Higher Self (HS) current energies

Similarly, the Four of Wands reversed indicates that you HS is feeling that you are letting your doubts hold you back in realizing your dream. You are not fully chasing after your dream and not preparing yourself enough for it.

The Devil here is quite interesting. I used the classic RWT and it shows the devil standing a lot taller than two figures that are chained, holding a torch in his hand. This card is all about ties and chains that needs to be broken. I asked a clarifier for this card because I was getting a bit confused, and I got the King of Pentacles. For me it's the Dionysos card and I was already getting this vibe from the Devil with the little grape in the left corner. So Dionysos is called the breaker of chains, and I think on some level it's what you are feeling about your dream. It's an opportunity to break away from what confines you in order to reach the abundance you so seek.

Which is also signified by the two Swords cards that appear reversed, basically showing you moving away from hurt, despair and blockages. Your HS is really encouraging you to leave behind this pessimistic and passive mental state you are currently in.

The 9 of Pentacles and the Starborn cards I feel go together. They are a message to trust that your sense of purpose is guiding you towards a better life, a life of fulfillment. You HS feels like you need to reconnect with the enthusiasm for your dream and start walking towards it so that you can step away from the chains I previously mentioned.

This is also shown by The Cave in reversed. It's like you're currently hiding in the darkness, fearing to step out in the light of the real world and confront reality.

I have as a matter of fact! I just recently bought one for my mother, who had expressed some interest in getting into the practice. I asked her some questions about what kind of art styles and symbolism she preferred, and I wound up landing on a fairy tarot deck that was all decked out in lovely woodsy colors. I can't remember precisely what it was called, but I do remember that the suits all used generally the same background imagery, but graduated as the number increased. (For example, increasing numbers of mushrooms.) It was a cute visual device. Either way, I'm unsure how much actual use she's getting out of it, but she liked it a lot. :)

11 - What's my opinion on getting decks second-hand?

I think it's fine, honestly! If the deck calls to you, then whether or not someone else has used it before shouldn't matter much. My favorite (and most accurate) deck is actually second-hand - if only lightly used.

20 - Do you have any non-tarot divination decks in your collection?

I do! I am in possession of two oracle decks. The first one is a Goddess oracle which specifically focuses on the mythologies and aspects of a wide variety of Goddesses from cultures all around the world. I find that one tends to work best for me only in very specific situations, because it's very heavily gendered, OR if I'm intentionally invoking a higher power for whatever my concern is (which is extremely rare for me.)

The second is one I picked up myself, which I can't remember the name of currently, but it uses animal imagery. That one is a very good all-rounder, and I tend to have stronger connection with it from an imagery standpoint. If I had one complaint about it, it's that the cards are so incredibly glossy that it's hard for me to see sometimes if the light's shining wrong.

Hi sweet anon! Not at all, thank you so much for asking your question <3 Sooo, it depends on the readings. I read past, present and future depending on the question being asked.

For example, when asking about the member's fs, I have previously asked whether Yoongi and JK have met their fs and the answers were "no" so then I focus on the person that they will be with, or their "end-game". So questions like "what will their first date be like" will imply reading the future, but questions like "what is the fs' job/career" can imply reading for the present/future.
