I've seen a few people point out how when Blaine gets buried in that one episode, he's kind of posed like the Hanged Man from the Tarot.

And then I thought of Liv dabbling in Tarot in that one episode. And I think it's funny that when she's laying out the cards in the morgue -

Blaine enters with his hands in this exact same posture and turned slightly to the left (despite talking to Liv in front of him) and even positioned to have the year number over his head in exactly the same position as the card does the XIII

maybe I'm reaching. but also it's literally seconds apart.

Conclusion: That's a really weird way to hold one's hands

Lucifer had never really had a liking for humans. In fact, he was kind of infamous for it. So ever since he had seemed to lose his mojo, he’d had to be among them, and he couldn’t imagine a worse fate for anyone. They were greedy, needy, and selfish. He didn’t understand why his father had such a hard on for them. It was a cold night, and he hadn’t been able to find a place for himself to sleep for the night. Normally he would have just taken what he wanted, no mercy, but being without his powers made him realize how much he had taken for granted. Just the ability to never be hungry was something he yearned for at the moment. 

On his walk down the deserted sidewalk, he looked around for any store that may still be open that he could warm up in. This small town wasn’t much, exactly what you’d imagine when you think of a small town. Too many hardware stores, an old gas station, and no one in sight. Lucifer stuffed his hands in his pocket, his visible breath forming consistent clouds around his head as he groaned quietly to himself. He took one more look around, figuring he’d just have to sleep in an alley somewhere for the night. What a fate for the King of Hell, huh?

Just as he’d lost hope, he noticed a small shop hidden in the corner of the strip mall he paced. It was illuminated in a purple aura, the small light bulb giving off just enough light for him to see the door. He walked towards it, hoping that they might still be open. He pulled at the door, almost thanking his father that he found it. He exhaled a sigh of relief as he stepped into the warm room, a small bell hung at the front door alerting his presence. 

“Welcome,” a soft voice cooed, surprising the devil. Lucifer turned his head towards the voice, taken aback at her appearance. She was a sight, that was for sure. She had an elegant demeanor, her hair framing her face beautifully and her makeup dark, but soft. She offered a warm smile, maybe even warmer than the little store they both stood in. “Are you looking for anything in particular?”

“A bed for the night.” Lucifer answered honestly, getting himself out of the trance she had put him under when she entered the room. She hummed, looking him over before waving him down to follow her. She turned to the back of the store, walking to a beaded curtain. As he followed her, he looked around, noticing that her store was full of occult items, incense, tarots, and other items alike. He raised his brow, humming to himself as he followed her though the hanging beads. When they passed through the threshold, a room lit by warm candles and string lights was revealed. There was a small bed in the corner along with an altar of sorts. He looked at the woman, very intrigued. “Are you a witch?” She smiled, chuckling softly as she shook her head.

“No, I’m not. I just believe that there's no proof that something doesn’t exist. I like to believe in everything, who am I to tell people that they’re wrong?” He laughed, looking around once more.

“So, you believe in the supernatural?”

“I don’t see why not.” He walked over to the bed, looking over at her. She nodded, motioning for him to lie down. He obliged, the bed sheets warm and soothing. He cuddled into the sheets, stretching his arms upwards. She went over to a small fridge, bringing out two water bottles. She offered him one, then took one for herself. He sat up, unintentionally drinking the entire bottle. She sat on the edge of the bed, watching him with an amused smile. 

“So do you normally let total strangers sleep in your shop or am I a special occasion?” He smirked, and she giggled in return. She shook her head, setting her water bottle down. 

“Strangers don’t usually ask, but I like to help others whenever I can. And if offering my bed for then night will help you live to see another day, then I will.” He furrowed his brows in confusion. There was no way she was this nice just to be nice. In all of his time up here, he hadn’t encountered a kind human that was just willing to give anything, let alone their bed. “Get some rest, I’ll lock up and check on you in the morning.” She got up to walk towards the door, and he lied down.

“Wait, what’s your name?” He needed to know. He wanted to find her after he got his powers back, show her that her beliefs were true. She turned back towards him as she got to the doorframe.

“Y/N.”

Heheh I knew this one was coming. Maggie Keeneyes is an NPC from Call of the Netherdeep, which I DM. She's an ogre and I treat her as a battlemaster fighter. Our version of her has a unique backstory that ties into some homebrew world elements.

5. What is your PC’s idle animation?

Maggie is pretty placid and still when she's idle. It's not that she spaces out, she's always gently focused on what's going on around her, she just doesn't fidget. If anything, she just shifts her weight from foot to foot.

16. What scents do you associate with your PC? 

Sheepskin and other musty, comforting smells of well-cared for animal hides. Metal polish for her armour and weapons. I think in response to other people's stereotypes about ogres, she takes hygiene very seriously and often smells like soap.

35. If your PC was a dating option in a farming simulator (a la harvest moon or stardew valley), what kind of items would they like? 

CUTE. For the record, I would not be mad if any of the PCs in this game wanted to romance Maggie. Maggie likes chess and other strategy board games, books of poetry (believe it or not, her poetry interest is in the module, not a Liv homebrew), and very strong alcohol (in moderation.)

Black-eyed Susan. Not especially showy, but bright, resilient, and hardy in many types of soil and in many climates.
