I'm trying to be proud of myself for that. #as you can see this year was the year that DnD took over my life. #from critical role fan sims to the dnd cas challenge and then Rook taking over my brain. #I also feel like I improved a lot with my edits. #specifically the two tarot card edits are amazing. some of my best work to date. #and I feel like my cinematography with Nora's story posts was a step up from where it was before. #apparently black red and green were the colors of the year lmao. #I'm glad I made at least 4 really intensive edits to put on here. #and also glad that I posted 4 story poses this year. #that's almost nothing compared to last year but it's still progress!

I decided I want to crochet a blanket as my big project of the year!

I had an idea for making a Sleep Token version of The Hermit tarot card. (bc it fits but also bc I’m a Virgo ^.<). I had to draw them out and I’m very proud of myself bc I’m not an illustrator (especially not digitally) and I think I did pretty good! I’m excited to make it! I only realized after I finished the designs that I accidentally fanarted!!

This is the design I settled on:

The hermit seems so solemn in tarot and it’s all about rest and reflection. I wasn’t sure what to do with Vessel’s mouth, but I love when he smiles so I decided to be self indulgent. The blanket is for me after all ^.^

I also sketched out a more traditional The Hermit card pose. I actually did this first, but I didn’t love it. I think if there was something to help fill the background, I would like the design more. I also didn’t measure out how the correct length to width ratio for this one

Tarot card wip! The King of pentacles for a Curse of Strahd vampire Lord that might or might not become a very generous ally if it so benefits them. Fav detail is that they have a coin where their missing eyes should be, like half of his payment to Charon is already paid!! Pelican there as as symbol of sacrifice!! SYMBOLISM

I need your help ♥

I have these 2 sketches and I'm wondering what next? Should I make tarot cards? And if yes - which cards? For Karlach I could do 3 of swords. But for Astarion — 8 of swords or 5 of cups (and cups are like hearts in poker cards, so it would be nice). And if I'd start making tarot cards, should I make WHOLE DECK?!

Or maybe not tarot, but just nice illustrations with bit abstract background? What do you think?
