Shink.
Chink.
Slink.
Clang.
The slashing sounds of a sword rang through the air as second by second, bodies fell to the ground. Grunts and cries left the lips of the men struggling to withstand death and hold their ground against their cloaked opponent. They were supposed to be the best in their field and here they were, falling to the hands of a wanderer.
Pathetic.
These men weren't even worth your efforts to kill.
Alas, you needed to get past them to get to him.
"Is that all you have? You truly are pathetic, arrogant, scum who let their positions get to their heads."
"You will be executed! You hear me?! EXEC-!"
Shink.
"God, would you just shut the hell up?" You rolled your eyes, staring at your sword in distaste. "Your disgusting blood got all over my sword. How annoying."
Thud.
"Puh-please..." Your cold eyes landed on a male who got down on his knees, hands intertwined with each other as tears streamed down his face, followed closely by snot. "I have a family. Have mercy!"
You crouched down, reaching the man's eye-level. "I had a family once too, but do you think your king cared? No, he killed my master ruthlessly and without a second thought, leaving me with nothing." Your sword sliced right through him. "Man up, stop begging for your worthless little lives."
Your gaze grew colder with each swing of the blade, the blood bath growing larger and larger as a seemingly infinite number of enemies jumped at you from angle to angle. The fact that they had the audacity to even try to defend their pathetic excuse of a king was enough to flush away any amount of regret you may have had towards their death.
So what if they had a wife and children at home? They knew what they were getting themselves into when they signed up for this job. What did they expect? Beg for mercy and be allowed to leave in one piece? As if.
Clang.
Your narrowed orbs met with determined ones belonging to a boy who looked to be no older than 18. He held his sword against your own, pushing back at you with more strength than any of the previous guards showcased. You had to admit, you were impressed.
"You have potential, boy, such a shame to see you wasting all of it on that disgusting man." You vocalised your thoughts, exerting just as much force as he was to keep his sword from reaching your body.
"In my eyes, you are more of a disgusting man than the king will ever be."
You scoffed.
"Man? I suppose I should have expected as much. Look at my chest, boy, and call me a man again." You witnessed his brow raise in confusion before his eyes trailed downwards and he gasped in shock, faltering for but a moment.
"Yuh-you are a woman?!"
That one moment was all it took for you to twist your blade around his own and toss it to the side before pointing the sharp end of your weapon at his neck.
"Indeed I am."
With that, his blood splattered onto your cloak like the countless other guards who died by your hand. It truly was a shame, he was so young and had such potential within him. Oh well, it's not like he is the only boy with the potential to become a just hero. Besides, you weren't interested in making a hero, once you seized your revenge, you'll be sure not to glance in a blade's direction ever again.
A gasp interrupted your thoughts and caused you to turn in the direction it originated from. There stood a maid, delicate fingers cupping a mouth which was frozen agape.
"Run." You stared at her with lifeless hues. "Run and I will spare you... for my battle does not lie with an innocent maiden."
No more words were needed to be said for her to pick up her skirt and start dashing off in another direction, relieving you. You truly did not wish to kill a normal civilian but if you had to do it then you would - you wouldn't let anything get in the way of your plans.
You trudged through the hall she used to get to you, blood dripping from both your sword and your cloak - trailing after you like a puppy would its owner. As you travelled down, multiple screams left the servants of the castle, each one running as far as they could. Guards stationed at doors lunged at you but went down with one fell swoop of your blade, all the while unable to stop you from your walk to your destination. Your face conveyed no emotion as you slashed and stabbed through multiple enemies, each one's face growing more and more fuzzy due to you viewing them as less of a person and more of another number to add to your list of kills.
Your rhythm was never interfered with, your stance never faltering. You were nearing the end, you would finally be able to have your revenge. That awful king would finally be put into an eternal slumber and it would be by your hands. Oh, you were going to love this.
Bang.
You threw open the doors leading to the throne room, being sure to make a grand entrance to prevent him from being able to ignore you if only for a brief moment.
The guards stood at his side immediately withdrew their swords, pointing them towards your bloody form. "Who are you?! What do you want with the king?!"
The king.
Ah yes, the king.
He sat upon his throne, one leg crossed over the other as arrogance emitted from his form. His ginger hair was in as much of a disarray as usual, the mask rested to the side of his face like always. His piercing blue eyes seemed to be taunting you, daring you to approach him, to kill him. The bastard pissed you off just by sitting still.
Who was this bastard? Why, the king of this nation, of course. King Tartaglia. He is also known as 'Childe', a nickname given to him upon people realising how childish he could act sometimes. Childish and yet oh so menacing.
"Do share. Who are you? Where do you come from? What is it that you want?" The king echoed the words of his guard, an eyebrow raised in interest.
"I come from the mountains. I want to take your life." Your response was simple, easy to understand and immediately giving away your intentions.
"Oh? Do tell why that is so?"
"You killed my master so I now wish to kill you."
"You're going to have to remind me who that is, I've killed quite a lot of young men's masters."
His words made you grit your teeth, hatred coursing through you. How dare he not even bother to remember your beloved master? The man who took you in, taught you how to fight, and raised you like his own. How dare he forget him?
Not bothering to answer, you lunged at the man - being halted half-way through getting to him by his guards. The men were skilled but unfortunately, not skilled enough. Your attacks were relentless, swing after swing coming at them with no break in between - leaving no room for any sort of opening. Rage had consumed you, blinding you and causing your swings to become a mess, different to the techniques you were taught by your master. It was pure luck that you were able to defeat the guards with no strategy, they seemed to not have been expecting much from you which was probably just as much of a fault as not fighting with strategy.
You ripped through their flesh with no mercy, too angered to consider giving them a quick death. With them out of the way, you could finally reach your goal.
You unclipped your cloak, allowing it to fall to the ground and revealing the simple clothing you had on underneath. Your reveal stunned Childe, his eyes widening in shock before settling with realisation.
"Ah yes, I remember you." Instead of the fear you hoped for, a look of amusement crossed his face. "You are the girl that was there when I slaughtered that old Oogway, no?"
"Do not refer to my master in such a disrespectful way!" You lunged at him once more, this time with no one to get in the way.
He smirked before jumping back, dodging your blow as he picked up the sword laying by his former knight's side. "You're really adorable, did you know that?"
With another enraged cry, your sword made contact with his own, successfully pushing him back.
He grunted before letting his own robe fall off his shoulders, revealing the battle uniform he seemed to always have on. "Wow, girlie, you sure are feisty. It's very cute, I think I'll call you 'little warrior'."
Clang.
Your sword met his own in the same way that young man met yours earlier on. You used all of your strength to push your blade towards his neck but you were unsuccessful in doing so. It was of no surprise that he was strong, he did defeat Master Oogway after all, the man who essentially taught you all that you know. Still, you refuse to give up.
You stumbled back upon a huge shove that came from him, falling over onto your behind.
Clang.
Once more, your swords clashed together, this time with you being at a disadvantage.
"Tell me, little warrior, are you not a hypocrite for getting mad at me when I couldn't remember who I killed despite the fact that you, too, do not know who you slaughtered within these very walls?"
You grit your teeth once more before shoving him roughly and rolling to the side, narrowly missing the strike of his blade. Jumping back onto your feet, you growled. "Everything I did, I did for a just reason. You killed my master for no reason at all."
"You call revenge just?" He chuckled. "Killing is killing no matter what the reason is, you are just as bad as me."
"Don't you ever compare to your scummy self!" Your next blow was counter-struck by him as he managed to land a hit on you, cutting through your flesh a little too deep. "Agh!"
He watched with a sadistic gleam in his eyes as you clutched your arm, glaring at him with such a large amount of loathe despite the pain you were currently going through.
"Come on, I was expecting a bit of a challenge from you."
You snarled, ignoring your wound in favour of landing at least one blow on the ginger.
Your movement was sudden, resulting in his movements being delayed. He was not able to back away in time, and in return, was unable to stop the sword from slicing a clean cut through his cheek.
"Damn, was aiming to chop off your head."
A light scoff left his lips. Then, a few chuckles. And finally, full-blown manic laughter.
"You're quite the jester, huh little warrior?"
You didn't bother to correct him, opting instead to dive for an attack once more. Your blade sliced through the air with such force, a gust of wind blew in the direction of the King, causing him to stumble and allowing you to wedge your sword into his shoulder.
You stood over him, panting with a sharp glare as you looked down on him - both figuratively and literally. Childe looked dazed - it was the perfect opportunity to strike at his heart!
You swiftly pulled the sword out of his shoulder and sent it down on his chest with a large amount of speed. You used so much speed, in fact, that the sudden halt of movement within your sword caused your whole body to shake and almost tumble down.
"Amazing..." Childe gazed at you with a dreamy expression on his face, eyes glinting with an emotion you were unfamiliar with. "Simply spectacular... who would have known that a mere girl would be so well-versed in the art of elemental control?"
"Ha. Your words speak volumes. You have yet to master it?" You taunted him, continuously pressing down on the sword that was rested between his palms, being kept from entering his chest without much of an effort.
"No, I have not."
"Agh!"
Your body landed on the ground with a thud, your once full dominant hand now empty as you lay there unarmed.
The heavy footsteps that followed after made noises akin to that of metal - gold chains, to be more specific.
In that moment, you found yourself to be lost in a pool of negative thoughts.
Master...
I'm sorry...
I have failed you...
I could not get the revenge I so-desperately seeked.
I just hope that you'll be able to forgive me when I return to your side.
You grit your teeth and shut your eyes, prepared to take the fall. You were any unable to get the retribution you believed you deserved - and for that, you would gladly embrace death as punishment.
"Fascinating." Your ears perked up, preparing themselves for the taunts that would leave the mouth of the man you grew to loathe. "No one has been able to master elemental control in centuries... that old Oogway mastered it and taught his pupil? I knew there was something he was hiding from me."
You brought your dominant arm up to your face, allowing it to rest there and cover your eyes. In the next second, a dry chuckle left your lips. "Of course he kept it from you, you would've used it to continue your reign of tyranny."
"Is that so?" You barely registered the handle of his blade making its way to your head, knocking you out completely. "Well, it's such a shame he wasn't able to keep it a secret for long."
.
.
.
E/C orbs glared up into a pair of eyes belonging to that of a mad man. "I will never cooperate with you."
"Stubborn as ever, Y/N."
"Argh!"
Your clutched the side of your stomach, wincing at the pain that was just brought upon you. How many times has he asked for you to teach him the art of elemental control and how many times have you refused? You're not sure. By now, you've lost count.
"Y'know, Y/N, this can all end if you just agree to my terms."
"I will never agree to them."
"Never is a word that implies a definite answer, no? I believe it's too powerful of a word to use. You'll give in one day, I know you will."
.
.
.
"Get up!" You were yanked up from the ground by one of the disgusting Knights that kept an eye on you. "The King wants to see you."
You refused to say a word, eyes dull and expression lacking the life it once used to have. You had failed your master, you did not deserve to feel emotions anymore. Fury, content, sorrow, fear... you had no right to feel any of these.
Forgive me, Master...
You were met with the hard ground when you reached the throne room, head forced downwards in a bowing motion directed at that filth.
"Now, now everyone~ there's no need to force her to bow to me anymore. After all, she is to be wed to me now."
Your head shot up, enraged E/C hues meeting with an amused smile.
"That's the most amount of emotion I've gotten from you in a while."
"You disgusting rodent. How dare you demand my hand in marriage like that." Red, hot anger scorched your veins as you seethed for the first time in a while.
"There it is!" His sudden movement caused the guards around him to flinch. "There's that flare in you I missed! There's the little warrior I know and love!"
His sudden actions and demeanour confused you greatly, and it seemed like you weren't the only one confused.
"My King, are you sure ab-."
Thud.
"Anyone else thinking of questioning my authority?"
Silence.
"Good~." Childe turned to you, his eyes glinting in the few rays of sunshine allowed into the room - the red on his hands shining vibrantly. "Now, my little warrior, I'm sure you're wondering why I wish to have your hand in marriage, no? Well, lately I've had many marriage candidates but all of them have been so incredibly boring. All they ever say is 'my King! You're so handsome!' or 'my King! You have so much money!'."
"Do they think just saying some compliments will be enough to butter me up so they can gain power in my kingdom? Pathetic! Each second I spent with them, I found myself comparing them to you. No one could stir me up like you, no one could insult me like you, no one could land a hit on me like you-. Oh my little warrior. Do you know how much I love you?"
You blinked in surprise at his sudden confession, clearly not expecting it. "I'm sorry?"
"Be mine. You're all I ever find myself thinking about anymore, you're all I ever look forward to. Now marry me."
"No." You spat it out with so much venom, you surprised even yourself.
"No? Hahaha..." He tossed his head back. "Hahahaha... AHAHAHAHA!"
His laughter was shrouded in hysteria, his eyes swirling with next to no sanity. He acted like you were a jester pulling a funny move or something to amuse him despite the fact that you did nothing of the sort.
"Sorry, sorry." He wiped away a non-existent tear. "I just find it so funny that you think you have a choice."
Both of your arms were seized in the next second, resulting in you (quite obviously) starting to thrash about in fury. Red clouded your vision as hatred clawed through your innards, begging to be let out and have at the disgusting man in front of you. You went feral. Unfortunately, though, you were well out of practice when it came to your combat. Laying down in one position for a long period of time does that to people.
"Be sure to make my little warrior look like a diamond for when we wed, okay ladies?" The maids, that you had just now noticed, nodded vigorously. "Remember, my little warrior, 'till death do we part!"
His mocking laughter bounced off the walls of the Palace as you were dragged to a place you would argue to be much worse than the torture room you were forced to stay in before.

The heels caused an echo to follow your footsteps as you made your way down the hall, the glint of a blade hidden beneath your sleeve. That man was insane if he thought that binding himself to you was enough to stop you from bringing about his end.
You would stop at nothing to claim his life.
Creak.
"Ah! My little warrior! There you are! Come! Sit! Have a drink!" He didn't seem the least bit surprised about seeing you, instead choosing to invite you in.
You said nothing but did as he asked, eyes trained on him, waiting for him to falter for even a second. Then, you would strike.
"Do you like the drink?" He paid no mind to the maid in the room, keeping all his attention trained on you.
You nodded in response to him, still not saying a word. Just a little bit more, just wait until his guard is down just a little bit more.
You grew impatient the longer it took for his guard to lower. Well, if you want something done, guess you'll have to do it yourself huh?
You stood up and walked over to him with your arms open wide, giving off the illusion of wanting an embrace from your 'lover'.
It surprised him at first, but then his lips drew up into a huge grin and his hands opened up wider than your own.
There! Perfect!
Schunk.
Crimson liquid stained his clothes as the maid dropped the plate (that was once in her hands) in horror, a scream escaping her her lips not soon after.
A wide, crooked smile grew on your face as a feeling of utter satisfaction flowed through your veins. Finally, you finally got this scum for your master. He was finally going to-!
Your thoughts were cut off by the violent hacking that escaped not his mouth, but your own. To your surprise, the same crimson substance seeping from him was leaving your own lips in violent coughs.
How could this be?!
"Did I not say, my little warrior? 'Till death do we part. If I am to die, so are you."
"But-." You stuttered, completely taken aback. "How..?"
"The drink you just consumed was poisonous, my little warrior. A certain seer told me you would have my head today, I couldn't just let you kill me and live on like nothing happened, now could I?"
More violent coughs exited your lips as you collapsed, feeling ready to implode as the pain inside you grew to be excruciating.
It was awful, downright horrible...
But...
You got your revenge. You got what you spent years of your life working towards. And now, even if this death would be incredibly painful, at least it would not be in vain.
"I know that look, you're glad to have killed me aren't you?" A few hacks left his own lips as he, too, collapsed. Reaching out his arms and taking you in them.
"That's the little warrior I fell for."
BONUS!
"You're so handsome, my King." The brunette clinging to his arms brought a scowl upon his face, disgust eating away at him the longer she held onto him.
"Who gave you permission to touch me?" He scoffed, shoving her off of him.
Childe couldn't believe the audacity of these women, touching him without any sense of humility. Throwing themselves onto him like he was some sort of boy toy. What did they take him for? An idiot?
He can't believe he let that little pipsqueak convince him to go through suitors when he could've been spending this time down in the dungeons trying to make you teach him the way of the elements. A fight with you would be much more entertaining than seeing these women and their desperate faces.
One of them tried landing a strike on him. Pah! Of course, they were unsuccessful. Unlike you, you were able to land a hit on him, even if it wasn't a life threatening one.
Oh and don't even get him going on how boring they were compared to you. He just had to say one insult to their face and they would shut up instantly; whereas with you, he would receive a barrage of sharp-tounged and quick-witted replies. Who wouldn't think you were much better than these leeches?
"Childe."
"Ah, Zhongli!" The ginger greeted his advisor. "Thank God you're here, these women are so awful, I don't think I could ever marry one of them. Not to mention, they're so jealous of each other. What would happen if I took one of them as my wife and continuously kept visiting my little warrior in the dungeons? She would throw a hissy fit of jealousy and stop me from seeing my little warrior."
"'My little warrior'? Since when did you start referring to her as yours?" The wise man brought up quite the valid question.
"Ah, funny you say that. I don't know..." Childe held his chin and casted his gaze, contemplating when indeed he started referring to you as 'his'.
"Perhaps you have fallen for her?"
"Fallen for her?"
"Correct. The reason why you do not want to marry these women does have something to do with them stopping your from seeing her after all."
Zhongli's words made quite a lot of sense. Childe had just been comparing them to you. Not to mention, you were the only woman that could make him feel so giddy and warm inside.
"You might just be right, Zhongli. I think I have fallen for her. No..." His eyes lit up and he jumped in joy. "I know I have! I have fallen in love with her! I must make her mine!"
The excited male wasted no time in dismissing the ladies within the hall. Did he say dismissing? Sorry, he meant getting rid of.
His blade glistened as the sun reflected off of it. "You ladies wanted to relieve me? Be my guests."
Yes, the pipsqueak Childe is talking about is Scaramouche.

Childe X Abysal!Monster Imposter Reader
DARK CONTENT
Warnings: Gore, cult themes, blood, death, suggestive themes(this needs some explanation), asphyxiation, unnatural movement, implied ZhongChi
Explanation: Reader, a monster feels intense inhuman emotions this comes out as arousal as a human. Depicting death/parasitism as sex.
WARNING DO NOT READ IF UNCOMFORTABLE
He hooked you. The sent of home clung into his form. It had been a while since you were exposed to abysal energy, minus the abyss mages that irritate you with their garbish ways, what you wanted was a piece of… you, a piece of home. Being a creature made of nothing but pure energy of the abyss, of hatrid, love and possesion, strong emotions the abyss absorbed and created into physical form, that was you. You couldnt return 'home', you were stuck in a mortals body the moment the human tried to make contact with you and now you could no longer leave that mortals body and go back into the abyss so the scent of 'home' naturally drove you mad and the ginger infront of your mortal eyes drowned in it, his being must have been exposed to the abyss and absorbed its influence to become the mouth watering being he seemed.
You stood in Liyue Harbour, your vessles home was in this city and you knew you needed to immitate their past life as much as possible to stay away from detection as an imposter. For a while you gathered that 'you' worked at the docks as an angler, fishing and selling at the pier, 'you' lived in a small house near the docks and had very little close companions. What was interesting when you first explored your hosts house was the variety of cult like items scattered on the walls, ancient texts and bloody instruments. Hmm, there were some weridos living amongst the humans, perhaps your host had fiddled around and ended up exposed to the abyss where you met and involuntarily took their body from them.
That was how you stood near the town central looking directly at the ginger 'fatui harbinger' (a title you assumed must have some important meaning to) as folk called him. Next to him stood Zhongli, a man you knew you should stay away from for reasons unknown. That was the tricky part. You wanted to surround the ginger called 'Childe' or 'Tartaglia' and absorb him fully, you wanted to feel his mortal skin on you unlike you had with your vessle. You wanted to understand these feelings of love hate and possesion that made up your existance. You could feel your physical form was reacting to your thoughts, something wet developing. Whatever that display was it didnt concern you what you needed because right now you desired only to find a way to be alone with the ginger and consume him and the enegry the brewed in.
"We should leave" Zhongli spoke, slighly nudging Childe to the opposite direction from you, he looked at you with concern on his face before turning back and continuing their conversation.
The dark of night drowned Liyue, now 'Childe' should be seperated from the being 'Zhongli'. You followed the scent you could never mistake, it was thick and intoxicating and made you violently thrash forward in a clumsy manner in the human vessel.
You find yourself near an inn outside the busy central of Liyue. It seemed rather lavish with neat garden and strong brick walls. You see a window slightly open, no doubt to let fresh air into the house. Liyue could get very warm, you were not used to it at first and nearly died the first time the teperature rose even slightly. Heat was a weird thing you never expected to experience.
You stood at the window and pushed as hard as your mortal hands could, ignoring the sensation of 'pain' your body felt at the strain to lift up the window that begrudgingly moved slightly until there was a moderate gap to get in thorough. The size wasnt exactly enough to get through normally but none the less you turned to your side, bent your limbs unnaturally and folded yourself thorough until you were in.
Being confined in a small room allowed the smell of the abyss to concentrate. It assulted your mind and made 'your' body huff violently. You stumbled along the halls, eyes unfocused and only looking to the direction the smell came from till it opened up to a small room equipped with a large bed and cupboard space. There slept 'Childe', your intoxication. You had never seen a human still in sleep before, infact you never experienced sleep. You just kept moving the body until it collapsed, it took a few days to understand you needed to 'eat' and 'rest' to be active which limited you.
Childe seemed so appetizing, better than any human food you had seen or eaten. He stirred slighly as you crept onto the bed, crawling along his legs and torso until your face was right against his, watching intently at the small twitches of his skin.
You wanted to get out of this shell, you wanted to feel him with your true matter. The smell of the abyss was so tempting, you violently thrashed in the body to get out and feel it.
In the mess Childe woke up, suddenly on guard as a he saw the random person twitching like they had a seizure on top of him. He immediatly threw you to the side, rolled out of the bed and grabbed a blade, in almost an intant the blade pegged you thorough the stomach and pinned you into the wall where you continued to fight to get out. Human blood soaked your stomach and more drentched your arms as they unnaturally bent, bone breaking and stabbing thorough skin. 'Your' legs slammed themselves into the wall, blood smeering onto it as your neck cocked side to side no doubt leading to a broken spine but you continued to fight back.
Tartaglia stood stunned. How else would a person react to seeing another do this to themself (other than the blade in the stomach, he did that). A human should be dead yet you continued to thrash, it was extreamly unsettling. Childe put it on himself to end this, to cave your skull in, that should truly kill a person and stop them moving.  Childe got closer to you, his second blade in hand and readied to smash the hilt into your cranium.
Light. Hope. Despair. Darkness. You could finally taste it, you finally escaped the human vessel.
Childes hands suddenly got swamped in black mass after crushing the skull. The mass continued to feed up him, he couldnt shake it off as desperate as he tried. Fear spread in him which just added to the smell of the abyss in the air. You surrounded him, pure relief made you release an unearthly sound, you no doubtly knew if you were still in that human shell you would have released like humans do. Childe began to choke on your mass, desperately trying to make space to breath but it was all in vain as he couldnt grasp onto you. You fulled his every hole, giving him your kiss as you thanked him graciously for allowing you to feel at home again. Childes movements began to slacken, limbs unable to stand as he crashed to the ground and could no longer fight back. In those last moments Childe felt the embrace of the abyss he had wished to forget, that simliar experience he had so long ago however this time it was more… of a sweet caress then violent assult.
Zhongli knew something was wrong. Childe hadnt met up with him the days to follow, he hadnt even been seen or reported by his fatui men. Zhongli paced the streets of Liyue in search for his friend when finally he came across the ginger however, only death was in his eyes one unlike the voidless eyes Childe once held now they seemed truly dead. 'Childe' smiled at his friend and walked away. Walking to the next closest feeling of home 'he' could feel.
Zhongli knew, he needed to get rid of the abomination that had taken his friend, his lover, away from him.

Thedoor jingled one again as (Y/n) perked his head up from his arms which were crossed and resting on the counter. As he whipped his head up to look at the new customer he was met with a certain gingered hair male who was holding a lopsided grin on his face that was awfully suspicious.
“Hello?” The (h/c) haired male questioned to the other who just continued to smile goofily.
“Hi tsvetok!” Childe responded with the energy of a puppy making the other deadpan.
“Do you need anything?” The former asked quite annoyed with the others strangeness.
“Actually yes, I just so happen to have a reservation for two at the Liuli Pavillion and I seem to be missing a person.” Childe once again responded faking concern turning toward (Y/n) only to see (y/n) looking at him oddly instead of the reaction he hoped for.
“Couldn’t you just get a refund or invite a friend or something?” The (h/c) haired male said confused on why the other wanted him to fix the problem, “ I really don’t see why you are asking me to help, I’m a florist plus I don’t even work there.”
The ginger haired male deflated at the obliviousness of the other and also was half embarrassed at the response he got. He internally made a mental note to be more obvious about it next time granted he didn’t even know exactly why he was doing this except for the fact that the other male drew him in in some way. It might have been how the other kept up such a tough exterior that not even Childe most formidable foes had but he had known it wasn’t for his strength as far as Childe knew the other didn’t even have a vision. However the ginger haired male took a sharp inhale before speaking once again “ I was actually hoping you’d go with me?” He finished sheepishly.
“As a date?” The (h/c) haired male stated skeptical as the other male nodded his head the former looked back in shock “No offense but I met you two days ago TWO what makes you think I’d trust you? Or the better question what makes you think I'd go with you?”
“Well uh-“ The ginger male said nervously smiling trying to think of an actual reason but before he could finish the bell once again ringed signiling that another person had arrived to the store. The owner walked in with her fluffy platinum hair bouncing as she walked.
“Huh what do we have here?” The woman said half curious and half teasing looking between the two.
“ Oh um I was asking him on a date but if your more traditional people I could ask for your permission first?” Childe said, quite cheerfully as (Y/n) just stared at him flabbergast wondering what kinda karma brought him to that moment. However when he looked at the older women she looked delighted which sent him into further confusion.
“ You definitely didn’t need to ask me. But you are such a gentleman and a handsome one too,” The older woman started clasping her hands together in excitement, as (y/n) stared in disbelief at her response “ Now (y/n) you didn’t say no to this wonderful man did you?” She said scornfully to the (h/c) haired male.
“Well um- I haven’t exactly made up my mind?” The (h/c) haired male said frantically trying to get out of the situation only to notice that his response made the eyes of both the older woman as well as the ginger light up with excitement making him instantly sigh at his lack of better wording.
“Well then you must go!” The older woman said excitedly, clapping her hands together.
“ Wait but um Im busy? Yeah I’m busy, I have to work the shop!” (Y/n) responded trying to find an excuse but at this point he wasn’t even sure why he was trying to find an excuse.
“Not anymore you're not! You never go out, all you do is work and sleep. You have no social life!” The older woman said huffing in frustration at the stubborn (h/c) haired male. (Y/n) did realize that she was correct even if it wasn’t what he wanted to hear and he did realize it couldn’t be that bad.
“I guess I could try?” (Y/n) said rubbing his hands together nervously refusing to make eye contact with the ginger (which he did temporarily forget was present) and the older woman.
“ That’s excellent! Give me an hour and he will look like the finest man in Liyu!” The older woman exclaimed, turning to Childe reassuring him. The (h/c) haired male snapped his head up at the statement once again wondering how the hell he got there. But just as he did that the older woman whisked him away to the back which served as her house. Once they arrived she sat him down on a stool and started hustling around grabbing various hair and beauty products. As well as an outfit composed of high wasted charcoal gray dress pants, a white pinstriped shirt that had puffy sleeves that flared out around the cuffs, and a sunshine yellow waist corset that scared the hell out of (y/n).
“ Nevermind I- I can’t do this!” The (h/c) haired male said panicking, the older woman ran over to him crouching down grasping his knees staring into his eyes that were blown wide and tearing up.
“Hey, Hey, It’s okay, It will be okay, you don’t have to do this not if your not ready.” She said rubbing one of his knees gently like a parent.
“ No, No, I need to do this!” (Y/n) screamed as his tough exterior seemingly crumbled. However that quickly went away as he swiped the underneath of his eyes and took in a deep breath. The older woman silently nodded, getting onto her work. She grabbed some light(as in quantity not hue) neutral makeup putting it on the other's face despite his slight protest. She next fixed his hair to look more elegant for the occasion. And finally she handed him the clothing ushering him to the bathroom. The (h/c) haired male stripped himself of his clothes staring down at the simple necklace on the chain as he contemplated taking it off. It was one of the very few reminders of his old love, a painful reminder that they as lovers failed. But as he reached to take it off he couldn’t, he couldn’t explain why he just couldn’t not yet. So he left it on as he put on the rest of the clothes including the yellow corset which terrified him but at this point he went with it. As he also tucked the green vision under the corset as well as tucking the ring necklace under his shirt.
“Are you ready yet (y/n)?” The lady called from outside the door as the (h/c) haired male grabbed the handle which swung open the door. As he refused to look the older woman in the eyes due to the gnawing in his stomach.
“You look lovely.” The platinum haired woman said, wiping her eyes as she had started tearing up much like a proud parent. With then she gently guided him towards the stairwell back to the shop with his knees trembling like an earthquake. But as he took a deep breath staring down the stairwell the facade he put on for people once emerged. His annoyed expression decorated his face once again as he trudged down the stairs and into the shop. But when he got there he was surprised to see Childe waiting in a fluffy silver coat that had a large black fur trim, with a red scarf bundled up around his neck. The two were perfect opposites with (Y/n) looking like a breath of spring, and Childe looking like…well looking like he was adventuring into the bitter cold. But Childe just looked affectionately at the (h/c) male who was descending the stairway. (Y/n) was paying no attention to Childe as his focus was on the steep staircase. But once the male got to the bottom he looked at the ginger who gave him that look. He melted. It had been a long time since someone had looked at him like that but before he could completely show the look got to him he cleared his throat.
“ Why are you dressed like there's a fucking blizzard?” The comment made Childe froze and snap out of whatever trance he was in. A little shell shocked at the others bluntness.
“Well um, how about we just head out?” The ginger said but it came out more like a question as he held his arm out and the other just brushed by him. The actions that the other male had been showing shocked him, most dared not cross his path let alone blatantly show disrespect. Which only made him fall more for the rude florist.
“Aren’t you coming?” The (h/c) male said waiting by the door.
“Ah Yes Sorry!” Childe said quickly before rushing over to (Y/n) as they left the little floral shop with the door closing behind them with a ring. Leaving the owner who had secretly watched the whole encounter smiling.
“ Thank you morax for leading him hear.” She whispered before going back to tending to the plants.

Pairing- Tartaglia x male reader
⚠️Warnings⚠️- Modern au(not sure if that's a warning but whatever), mentions of being high in the air, use of the word 'beautiful' and 'pretty'
Requests are- OPEN
A/n- So this idea basically just popped into my head randomly and i just went with it, if you're having trouble with imagining the aerial silk performance then here's like a small reference
Slight Synopsis- You're an aerial silk dancer who works at an extremely expensive and lavish restaurant, Childe, a wealthy CEO, goes to that restaurant for a business deal and gets taken away when he sees your performance
-
-
Tartaglia, an extremely wealthy CEO of a famously acclaimed company, had arranged for a business deal with another CEO about a possible long-term partnership. The meeting was to take place in one of the most lavish and expensive restaurants the city had to offer, most well known for the performances that they would put on, he spared no expense when it came to business deals, especially one of such grandeur because if it went well then it could possibly alter some things within the company.
He was a few minutes early so he was able to let his mind wander a bit to the design of the restaurant while he was sat waiting, it was for sure the most stunning he'd ever been to, it was big and spacious with almost every seat filled out, the only ones that weren't were the ones close to the stage that was being occupied by a man on a piano in the center with an array of other musicians in the back and the sides as to not block the pianist, he's guessed that the tables where only singular people sat where there for the show that would start in a while, made sense because it was even hard for him to get reservations to the place since it was usually always booked
It didn't take long before the Director finally arrived and they were able to begin the meeting
-
Like all business meetings usually went for the ginger, it went splendidly, they had arranged for another meeting to take place at his company on a later date with their selective teams to settle out some other things that they were both wondering about
The other CEO had probably long gone by now but Childe decided that he'd stay to finish his meal, he'd even opted for ordering dessert as well since he'd gotten fond of the food being served, it was still one of the best restaurants in the city after all so it was natural that the food there would be exemplary, too busy on indulging in his meal he hadn't even noticed that the music had stopped and the stage had changed
As he was just done finishing his plate and was about to call over a waiter to pay the bill all the lights had suddenly cut off, he was confused, could it be a power outage? why was no one else reacting?
The lights surrounding the walls had then started brightening again, not enough to light up the room but as much as to look like really dimmed, giving off a warm atmosphere, looking around confused as he was he then heard the loud sound of a spotlight that was now shining directly on the middle of the stage to reveal two long ropes of silk attached to the ceiling with a person laying beneath them on the stage
It was then that he could hear the sound of violins playing when he realised that it wasn't a power outage at all but instead a performance being displayed, and a beautiful one at that, with the voice of someone with a mic behind the stage they finally presented the one below the silks, "Presenting (Y/n) (L/n), our extremely talented Aerial Silk Dancer, please stay seated during this performance and refrain the use of bright phone screens as to not distract anyone from said performance"
His mouth was slightly agape in awe of just how alluring your show was, the way your body twisted and contorted while moving along to the music, like a spider making it's webs, the way the lights shun onto your skin making you look almost luminescent, the way you would make sudden drops from such a tall height onto the silks invoking sudden gasps and reactions from the crowd, it was enamoring, to say the least
He couldn't take his eyes off of you the entire time, even when your performance was over and everyone began clapping he was still breathtaken, it took him a few minutes afterwards of just sitting and replaying the entire scene over and over in is head he finally regained his composure
He finally called over a waiter, payed the bill and left. As he sat in the car that was organised to take him home, all that plagued his mind was you, god you were just so beautiful, was all he could think, there wasn't a single thing else that he could think about besides your performance
-
The morning prior he was still thinking about you, you were the first and only thing he could think of the second he awoke
He decided to do a little research about you while in his office, not anything creepy but just to learn a bit more about you, your name was already engraved into the side of his head anyway, he was able to find out quite a bit about you too since apparently you were a well known aerial dancer, guess you had to be since you worked at such a lavish place, s'not like they would hire anyone below above average anyway
He didn't really do any heavy snooping since he thought it might be a bit weird and stalkerish so instead he just went on the site for the restaurant and checked for the next time you'd be doing another performance there, luckily for him it seemed like you'd do one on every Tuesday and Friday with the times ranging from 7-9pm , which was pretty accessible for him, all he had to do was make sure to book reservations for it but that wouldn't be too much of an issue if he pulled a few strings in order to make sure that he'd never miss a show and since the prices for it wasn't much a concern for him he basically had his heart set
-
For the next two months Tartaglia had managed to go to each and every one of your shows at the restaurant without fail, he even went as far as to arranging his busy schedule to incorporate your shows into it, each one he went too he would always get put into a trans, there wasn't a single one where he hasn't gotten utterly mesmerized by your movements, it was like the silk bounded to you like another limb, everything about it was so intoxicating to him, oh and god forbid you spare him a glance during it, because if you did his entire face would flush and he'd freeze completely
He'd never felt this way about anyone before, maybe there was more to it all then just the performances, maybe he was just caught in your web and unable to get out, though it's not as if he was complaining, you are an exceptionally beautiful man
-
Now you, it was after about the first month you'd started to recognise the familiar face in the crowd, it was always the ginger hair that gave him away, around halfway through the second month was when you got used to him being there, it was almost like you were expecting him to show up for every performance, not like you were complaining, I mean he was quite the sight for sore eyes by your standards
And speaking of eyes, you loved the way he looked at you, it was all filled with such awe and admiration, not like other peoples' who'd only have lust filled gases as they watched you, sometimes he looked like such a puppy too, couldn't dare to take his eyes off of you as if even blinking was a hinderance to him, it always made you quietly smile and laugh to yourself each time you thought of it
You wanted to meet the 'mystery man' you oh so creatively named him, the way he'd leave as soon as you were over made you feel so curious as to it all, thinking that he only came to the restaurant just to see you would never fail to make your face grow warm in the slightest
You've had regulars come to your shows before, usually at different venues but there was something different about him that you couldn't quite place, a warmth that you would feel burning in your chest each time you generously blessed him with a glance from your curious eyes
Or maybe he was just hot and you were overexaggerating to yourself, he was an especially attractive man, wealthy at that, I mean he had to be if he was able to come to the restaurant so often since it's not like it was an exactly cheap place to go, far from it
You wanted to meet him, no, you were going to meet him, after all , he did get picked up by the same car each time so it wouldn't be that hard to stop him
-
That night was the same as any other, for you at least, for him it was as breathtakingly stunning as usual, though this time his face was much more red than his hair due to of the amount of times you had made eye contact with him, no one else seemed to notice, because of that it almost made him feel like he was the only person in the room, almost as if the show was just for him
Wouldn't that be a dream?
-
The show had ended as it always did and Tartaglia was already paying the bill to leave
You on the other hand had other ideas, for you it was more or less a race against time, you wouldn't have the time to change from your costume without it taking too long so you just threw on what was already in your dufflebag over what you already had on then dashed for the elevator so that you'd be able to meet him at the entrance
You were a bit nervous as you leaned against the wall with your arms crossed and leg propped up onto it next to the opening of the building, luckily you were good under pressure so you'd be able to hide the slight nervousness you were feeling
-
As the CEO walked out of the restaurant he was stopped by someone calling who could only be him
"Hey red-head"
He turned to face the stranger calling out to him
As he turned back he could feel himself freeze with his eyes wide when he realised just exactly who he was being called over to by
"Hey stranger" you said with a small wave "Surprised to see me?"
He was so embarrassed he couldn't even speak, embarrassed of what? No idea but he was still frozen in place nonetheless, but he still had to say something at least
"H-hey, hi" he stuttered while trying his best to fix his composure, a smiling and blushing mess, he felt like such a school boy right now, as if he was stopped in class by his crush asking to borrow a pencil, it felt so embarrassing, especially for a man of his high standing, his usual calm and playful composure lost at this point
It made you want to laugh a bit, not at him, but because you thought he was being cute, it wasn't often you got to see someone like him be so out of place
"Noticed you've been coming to my shows a lot" you pointed out, "There something you like about them?" you asked in a curious and playful tone, you liked flustering him and this was sure to push him the slight bit off the edge
"Well yeah, ah-mh" he cleared his throat in an attempt to collect his bearings, that somewhat worked
"Well y-yeah, you're ah shows are really pretty" he practically mumbled the last part
"What was that?" you asked while motioning to the tip of your ear with two of your fingers as a way to indicate for him to speak up a bit with a small smile
"Well ah! Y-you're shows, they're, no wait you, you, you're really pretty" He said more coherently this time
Which took you by surprise, you weren't expecting him to be so blatant but you were definitely happy about it
"Well here's what" you went into your pocket and took out a small piece of paper with your number already written on it "Let's talk more and you can tell me just how pretty I am, yeah?" you asked while handing him the little slip of paper
"O-Ok! Yes-yeah sure!" He stumbled more while taking the paper and saying about every version of 'yes' he knew, he was clearly excited
"Well you should start going by now, text me later k?" You said mentioning to the car waiting for him
And just like that you were gone, all he could think about during the car ride was how much of a dork he looked like, he was barely even coherent but even with that you were patient with him and even gave him your number, and speaking of that, what was he going to text you? A million and one different answers ran threw his head all at the same time making him even more flustered and red in the face as if he wasn't already, he was sure he could pass out right then and there.

Hello Travis, since it's almost Valentine's day, may I request a Scaramouche X Male Reader X Childe, where Scaramouche and Childe wants to confess their love to Male Reader, but ends up fighting over him and where they force him to choose who he likes the most?
Who will you decide?~ Scarmouche x M!Reader x Childe
This may suck bc I don’t remember scara or Childe’s personality - +
He/Him pronouns!
I was looking around Liyue harbor trying to find something my mom asked me to get her,
“What did she ask me to grab again?” I asked myself trying to retrieve my memory
“Whatcha lookin’ for?” A louder than average ginger asked
“…” he sat there in silence not noticing I was zoned out
“Y/N? I knew you were slow but you can at least res-” “Ah that was what I was looking for!” I accidentally cut him off finally figuring out what I was looking for
“Ah~ welcome back Y/N”Childe said just understanding that I was in my own world “so what is it you were looki-” “oh,didn’t think I’d see you here Y/N.” A certain boy with purple hair interrupted the other
“oh! Hey Scara!”I said replying to him happily
‘How many times am I going to get interrupted today.. it was fine when Y/N did it but not when that prick does’ childe thought while glaring at the boy who had just arrived.
“So where are you headed?” Scara asked ignoring the glare
“Oh, I was going to a restaurant to pick up something my mom asked me for.” I said smiling at him
“Oh well may I tag along?” Scara said smirking at the much taller male
“Can I go to!?” Childe said glaring at the shorter male
“Uh sure I guess? It’s nothing really important..” I said clearly confused why they want to tag along
*after getting your moms stuff*
“Hey, Y/N can I ask you something?” Scara said looking at me
“Uh yeah sure I guess?” I said in response
“Well I wanted to know if you’d be my valentine since you know Valentine’s Day is soon?” He said with a cocky smile
“Well uh-”I started being cut of by the other male who was there “what!? No! I was supposed to ask him that!” Childe said clearly angry (no shit-)
“Uh guys-”
“He obviously wouldn’t say yes to you. So I said it before you, to spare you the embarrassment.” Scara said calmly
“Well he obviously will! I mean look at me! At least I’m not like 4’ (122 cm) tall!”
“Well how about we ask him?”
“Fine then! Y/N who do you like more?!”
Choice 1
“Uh- well- I like Scara more sorry-”
“I told you.”
Choice 2
“Uh-well I like Childe more sorry-”
“I told you he wouldn’t like someone as short as you!”
Choice 3
“Well I like both of you guys..”
“HUH?”-C
“Oh” -S
Choice 4
“I uh- only see you guys as friends sorry”
“Oh” C+S
I would’ve made it longer but I couldn’t think of anything :’)
