if ofmd was a dnd party, stede would definitely be a college of eloquence bard who desperately tries to get the rest of the party to use his bardic inspiration during combat, but literally no one cares. he just runs around complimenting everyone while they’re all trying not to die by beholder

I truly love finding queer people in places I don’t expect to find them. Like, I was just reading Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything for the first time and came across a pair of wizardly boyfriends. Adorable.

Back at my hobby coding again and adding Ranger options. I realized Kommissar is at least a third level Fey Wanderer? If Beca only knew!

I've always liked the concept of a barbarian being able to lay the beat down on their enemies even if they don't have any weapons handy. So here's a Tasha's Cauldron style optional class feature! Hope you enjoy!

Whenever I see people saying they won’t allow artificers in their ‘ancient, fantasy vibes’ game, I get so confused. I feel like this style of GMing assumes a strict adherence to the RAW flavour of the artificer that they probably wouldn’t do for the other PHB classes.
Artificers don’t have to be steampunk! Inventors and tinkerers did exist in medieval Europe (also we can talk about how this whole D&D=medieval Europe thing is bullshit). If you so badly want your campaign to feel ‘ancient’ and ‘fantasy’, can’t your player’s artificer use rocks and vines to construct their stuff? That’s cool af!
This claim that the concept of innovation and invention doesn’t fit in to a medieval fantasy also refuses to account for all the innovation that was going on in cultures around the world during Europe’s medieval period. What a great well of inspiration medieval cultures from across the globe could be if GMs only let their players try it out (respectfully ofc)!
Fantasy technology doesn’t instantly mean steampunk/magitech!! Let your players be artificers, you cowards!

Is the Magic Tattoo Coverage table from Tasha's intended to limit how many tattoos you can have at one time?
@JeremyECrawford Is the Magic Tattoo Coverage table from Tasha's intended to limit how many tattoos you can have at one time? Putting it differently, is it possible to have multiple overlapping tattoos on the same body part? — Armando Doval (@armando_doval) November 18, 2020 If your DM introduces magic tattoos in your D&D game, the only limit on the number you can have is attunement. The Magic…

lixo of the night
race: goblin class: phantom rogue alignment: chaotic good weapons: Phantom Vengeance (whip) and Fallen Angel Kris (dagger) favorite things: pockets, ghost walk-ing, and necro-trash-mancy
I am making all of my D&D characters in the sims. Lixo is by far my favorite and has been with me for over 2 years. we recently completed a campaign and I miss playing her dearly. she is basically an extension of myself tbh.
btw, I totally recommend Tasha's Cauldron of Everything

it's one of the first warm sunny days of the year so i decided to take my dnd stuff and go sit in the park. i took my sourcebooks, my notes, some pencils and markers, and a blanket, and went on to do my homebrewing and prep work. then, i shit you not, guy comes up to me, glances at all the paperwork spread out in front of me, and asks "uni, huh?"
yes, clearly, tasha's cauldron of everything is my textbook for this semester. i'm studying at tumblr university. my major is the taylor swift class at nyu.
