His family was quite rich and put goods in business and as an only child, they expected him to continue their family work. However, after Kandali's kidnapping Petricio wanted to protect and put justice to these wrongs. He started to train to be a soldier and when finding out a lot of slavery was happening in Kirkwall he asked if he could become a guard there. Rejoining with Tass and finding Kandali later on as well, all of them form a team to help make Kirkwall a better place. While Tass and Amelis left, Petricio stayed in Kirkwall. Most of his scars happened when he was still a child. He was in the forest and was attacked by wolves.
