Tattooartist!Sukuna who is so used to being ogled by girls that he’s on the verge of putting his 2 weeks’ notice in. He knows he’s hot, muscular, breathtaking even (like some girl said while sitting on the studio chair and trying to get in his pants), but people piss him off, both men and women. He wishes he could just ink them up and never see them again.
And when he sees you staring at him from across the room he’s sure you’re about to say the same shit every other girl has said in the past three years he worked at the studio. But he’s utterly surprised when, instead, you turn around and close the door behind you.
He waits for you to come back, because you do have a tattoo appointment, but you don’t. That’s why he presses his ear against his door to listen to you trying to reschedule your appointment when there’s another tattoo artist instead.
He gets out and leans on the door, making himself visible, and when the girl at the reception asks you why you want to reschedule you look at him while saying “I just don’t think he’s professional enough to make what I’m looking for.”
And now you’re pissing him off, because he’s good at what he does and he knows it. So he comes closer to you, trying to intimidate you with his height, and slowly challenges you saying how he will get your stencil done for free. If you don’t like it he will personally pay for your tattoo, no matter the price. You accept the challenge, tattoos are super expensive these days, what do you really have to lose?
And that’s how you find yourself in his bedroom getting pounded from the back, your fresh tattoo on your spinal column.
“Thought you said I wasn’t professional enough, mh baby?” He whispers in your ear. “Looks like you enjoyed the tattoo, yeah?”
Between moans you manage to slightly turn around and kiss him on the lips. While you’re still close to his face you smirk.
“Looks like you’re enjoying it more than me.”
You feel his dick jump at your provocative tone, and he picks up his pace while standing back up. He slaps your ass, hard, earning himself a squeal before feeling your pussy cream on his dick.
“Fuck yes I do.”

I am going to ask Bucky Barnes out.
After going through the closing checklist, Tess gave you another quick pep talk and said the only thing that would hurt if he turned you down was your pride. Deep down you knew it would hurt more than your pride if he said no, but you didn't say it out loud. She must have sensed it since she added she was certain he'd jump at the chance to date you.
"You got this," she said, giving you a quick hug. "Sorry to run, but-"
"Like I said, I got this," you said, waving her on. Normally you walked out together when you both closed the bakery, but she had somewhere to be. "Have fun!" you added as she rushed out.
Once you finished up a few minutes later, you strode to the door with your keys in hand and a smile on your face. Tomorrow was going to be a good day. You could feel it. And you would look Bucky in the eye with a smile as you asked him-
"Closing all by yourself?"
You weren't sure how you managed to not drop your keys, or not throw a punch, when you spun around and saw your ex in your personal space. You wanted to wipe the smirk off his face when you took a deep breath. "Thanks for sneaking up on me, Richard. Mind backing up a little?"
"Aww, did I scare you?" he asked as you quickly locked the door. "Not even a 'hello'?"
"We haven't talked since we broke up," you reminded him. "But hi and bye."
Richard charmed you in the beginning when you met him, like he did with so many others. Beyond his good looks, he was a confident man. It didn't take long to see that beneath the surface was a spoiled man child who was used to getting what he wanted, or thought he could buy everything. You included.
Breaking up with him was one of the best decisions you made, even if your mom disagreed.
"Where are you going in such a hurry? You should get a drink with me."
"I have plans," you lied, wondering what the hell he was even doing there.
"So? Break them. I want to talk."
The suggestion sounded more like an order and you weren't in the mood.
"I said I have plans. I'm sorry."
"Then why are you still in your work clothes?" he asked, gesturing to your outfit. "And who do you have plans with? Some new guy?"
"Because I'm changing later," you said, staring across the street as a smile spread on your face. "And not that it's any of your business, but yes. He's a tattoo artist."
You weren't sure why you said that. Maybe because you hoped Bucky really would be your guy. And because the thought of him also made you feel safe.
You half expected Richard to laugh as you walked around him, but he put his hand on your arm instead as his face twisted into a scowl. "You're not hanging out with him. You're getting a drink with me."
You wrenched your arm away before he could tighten his grip. "We aren't together anymore. So you don't get to show up out of nowhere and order me around," you said as you went to the curb.
"Don't act like a fucking brat when I'm trying to give you another chance."
I'm the brat?
"Not interested. Have a good night!" you said before you looked both ways and dashed across the street to Bucky's shop.
The entrance was cozier and more open than you expected, the sound of the needles bringing you a strange sense of comfort as you adjusted your bag on your arm. Pictures of various tattoos in different styles lined the red walls above the front desk and leather couches. You wished you had the time to pick out which works belonged to Bucky.
Another day.
"Hi! Welcome to Sin on Skin!" the man behind the desk cheerfully greeted you as he typed on the keyboard. Even sitting down, you could tell the man was built, his muscular arms covered in a variety of tattoos. He may have been intimidating if not for the glasses and warm smile. "Do you have an appointment?"
You glanced over your shoulder and saw your ex making his way across the street. "Sorry, I don't. Is Bucky here? I really need to talk to him."
"Oh, yeah. Just over there. If you want to take a seat, I can-"
"Thank you. I'll be quick," you smiled, hoping Bucky wasn't in the middle of an appointment.
You glanced around at some of the other artists as you walked over to the chairs and noted how exceedingly gorgeous they were. There was one with short dark hair and a beard that looked like he could kill someone with his tattoo gun if they stared for too long. The girl sitting at his station and the man behind him with shocking pink hair and bright smile both brought a ray of warmth to his almost dark aura.
Is it a prerequisite to work in the shop that you have to be good looking? And either look intimidating as hell or incredibly alluring?
You gripped your bag to keep your hand from shaking as you saw Bucky engaged in a quiet conversation with Steve, recognizing him from earlier. You were almost afraid to interrupt. "Hi?"
Both men turned toward you with smiles on their faces as Bucky pushed himself up from his stool. “Hey, Sugar. Couldn’t wait until tomorrow to see me?”
"Something like that," you said.
"Wait. That's Sugar?" the man with the pink hair asked. "No wonder you keep going to the bakery."
"Don't hit on her, Hal," Bucky warned, earning a chuckle from the other man. "Go bother Andy."
"He already is," a deep voice replied.
You would ask later just how much he spoke about you to the other artists. "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting. My ex was waiting for me outside of my shop and I kind of panicked and said I was meeting you and I rushed over here."
"Your ex?" Bucky asked, immediately moving forward to rub your arms in a soothing gesture. "Are you okay?"
"Hi! Welcome to Sin on Skin!" you heard the guy at the desk call out before you could answer.
Instead, you burrowed yourself against Bucky when you heard Richard shout your name. Rock solid and sturdy, his hold kept your nerves from bubbling to the surface. You had nothing to be afraid of.
So why am I shaking?
“You’re kidding me, right? This fucking asshole?” Richard scoffed as you looked over your shoulder at him. He didn't walk any closer, but his voice carried throughout the entire shop. "Like putting a bumper sticker on a piece of shit car, isn't it?"
“Richard, just leave.”
"Does your mom know you're spreading your legs for some tatted up lowlife? Still a disappointment, aren’t you?”
The jab cut deep as much as you wanted to ignore it. He knew that your mom judged every part of you. No matter what you did, it was never good enough.
You wouldn’t focus on that for the time being. "
You do not come into his shop and insult him. Bucky, I'm so sorry."
"Don't apologize for this asshole, Sugar. His opinion of me means less than nothing, trust me," he assured you before he faced your ex. "You, however, are banned from my shop. You can get out now or Jake will call the cops for trespassing. After you apologize to my girl for upsetting her. Your choice, Dick."
Your heart fluttered as you leaned into Bucky more.
His girl. It sounds right.
"Please. I can buy the shop tomorrow just to bulldoze it to the ground," he sneered before he jabbed a finger at you. "And you know what? Keep her. I tried to give her another chance, but she's not worth it. She's a lousy lay anyway."
The insult washed away the momentary good feeling and was the tipping point that brought tears to your eyes. It was humiliating enough that you were the root cause of a scene in Bucky's shop, but the jab in front of his employees and customers brought it to another level. Why did you think hiding in there was a good idea?
Does Bucky think I'm a total loser now?
It was only when you sniffled did you notice the entire shop had gone silent, a dangerous tension in the air when Bucky tightened his arms around you as Steve and Andy slowly got to their feet.
"Hey, why don't you and I go in the back?" the friendly girl at Andy's station suggested. "I think there's some snacks back there, right?"
Andy nodded and gave her the go ahead.
"Bucky," you whispered as you dared to look at him. A tear slid from your eye when you saw the murderous gaze on his handsome face. "I'm-"
Before you could register what was happening, he pulled your face toward his and kissed you. Fierce, yet gentle as he brushed the tear away with his thumb, you let him take the lead. A slow simmer of warmth crept into your cheeks as he parted your lips with his tongue and coaxed yours into his mouth. Your fingers twisted in his shirt as he deepened the kiss and shifted so you were pressed almost completely against him.
If this is how he kisses, he might actually kill me if we ever go further than that.
He breathed into your mouth as he stole the very oxygen from your lungs when he pulled away.
"Go in the back," he told you, his gaze dropping to your lips. Did he want to kiss you again or was it wishful thinking on your part? "I just need to take out the trash, finish up here, and I'll take you home, okay? I won't be long."
It was a feat that you didn't shed more years with how gently he spoke to you.
"Thank you," you whispered, unable to say much more.
"Let's check out that snack collection back there," you heard before you were pulled from Bucky's grasp.
You didn't look back at Richard when the girl tugged you away, but you heard a slight waver in his voice as yelled after you.
That's right. You should be afraid.
"Thank you," you said, wiping your eyes with your hand.
"No need to thank me. One of my good friends just got out of a bad relationship and I'm still a bit in my protective streak," she explained. "Are you okay?"
"I think so."
You tried to remember how Richard acted around other guys when the two of you dated. Had he been the jealous type and you just ignored it? Or did he only cause a scene because you showed him you wanted to move on?
Tess is going to flip when she hears about this.
"Well, whether they just throw him out on his ass or worse, he deserves it for what he said to you," she added before she told you her name. "Everyone calls me Sunny."
"He does," you agreed, introducing yourself as she handed you some water. "Bucky calls me Sugar."
"And you work in the bakery across the street?" she guessed.
"Co-owner," you said, the small talk calming you. "Do you work here or are you a client?" you asked, noticing that she didn't have any tattoos.
"New client. I work in an animal shelter," she smiled. "Grumpy out there is going to give me a sun tattoo."
"That's nice," you smiled back. It seemed fitting with her warm and bright presence. "I really do appreciate you bringing me back here."
It was somehow just as warm and inviting as the entrance, the couch worn and comfortable. You wondered how often Bucky came back here to relax and hang out in-between his appointments. Would he ever bring you back here if you stopped in to see him?
"I figured the amount of testosterone out there could be a bit overwhelming, but are you sure you're okay?"
"Other than being incredibly embarrassed, yeah."
Even though Richard was no longer your boyfriend, he just had to barrel back into your life and leave a mess in his wake.
"He's the one who should be embarrassed," Sunny said, wiggling her eyebrows. "Especially after seeing that kiss."
Your face warmed as you replayed it in your mind. The silver lining for showing up tonight was receiving such a passionate kiss from Bucky. It was difficult not to get swept up in the moment though and you told yourself it was likely just for show. A way for him to stick it to a guy who upset you.
Right?
"It was a really good kiss," you smiled.
"Oh, we all felt the heat. Trust me."
Both of you giggled until there was a soft knock on the door frame.
"Hey, Sugar. Trash is out on the curb," Bucky winked. "You ready to go home?"
Your heart fluttered as you smiled back. "Yeah, I'm ready."
Tumblr media
You didn't live far away, but Bucky still insisted on taking you home. He even took you out the back way so you didn't have to see anyone. While he didn't specify exactly what happened with Richard, he assured you he wouldn't poke around either of your shops again. It made the drive home more pleasant knowing he looked out for you.
So much that you almost took his hand when he stopped outside of your place.
Almost.
"Thank you for everything," you said. "I'm really sorry about tonight."
"You have nothing to be sorry for. Not the first time we've dealt with assholes in the shop. Steve and I don't like bullies."
"I still feel bad," you said, wishing the feeling would go away.
"Please, don't," he whispered.
Your fingers twisted in your lap before you took a deep breath. "When you came into the bakery earlier today, I was going to ask you out," you told him, but refused to look at him. "But after that, it's probably a dumb idea. You shouldn't have to deal with that kind of trouble."
Maybe there's a better girl out there for you.
"You think one asshole ex is trouble?" he asked, leaning over to grasp your chin so you'd face him, goosebumps rising on your arms from his touch. "I can handle that."
"But what he said in your shop-"
"He did that to bring you down because he's an asshole. Guys like that don't want to see girls thrive without them."
You scoffed and mumbled, "I wonder what you'd think of my mom.
"I'm not afraid to stand up to anyone who tries to hurt you," he said, keeping a hold of your chin with a tender grip as your chest tightened. "You said you were gonna me ask out. Don't change your mind because of them."
"So, you really want to go on a date with me?" you asked.
"If I say 'yes', do I get to kiss you again?" he replied, running his thumb along your lower lip.
You were torn between sucking his thumb into your mouth or sinking into your seat. "Maybe we should get an actual date under our belts first. You only kissed me to prove a point or something."
Even if it felt like heaven.
"Or maybe I've been wanting to kiss you since I walked into your bakery and I want to kiss you again," he said, sliding his hand around to the back of your neck with ease. "Proving a point was an added bonus."
You looked at him wide eyed and subconsciously touched your lips. "Wait, you want to kiss me just because I asked you on a date?"
"I can give you a whole list of reasons," he said, his gaze flickering between your lips and your eyes. "And I'd love to go out with you. Friday night, Sugar?"
"It's a date, Hottie," you smiled when he leaned in.
But he didn't kiss your lips.
He brushed a kiss to your forehead, which somehow seemed more intimate.
"You had a rough evening. The next time I kiss you, I want it to because it's the right moment, just for the two of us," he explained when you furrowed your brows. "My girl deserves that."
A soft smile played at your lips as something warm welled up in your chest. He could have easily taken advantage of how vulnerable you felt by stealing another kiss, but he didn't. Even though you were into each other.
Going to see Bucky tonight was the right choice.
And you couldn't wait for your date.

Love them. Love the whole gang. Except Richard. Fuck that guy. And where are they going on that date? Check out What Dreams Are Made Of to see how Bucky is feeling. Love and thanks for reading! 💙

closer - tattooartist!bucky barnes x female!reader
Tumblr media
Plot: Y/N's feelings towards her tattoo artist intensify the closer he gets to her. Pairing: TattooArtist!Bucky Barnes x Female!Reader Warnings: A few mentions of needles - specifically tattoo needles - and the sensation and pain of getting tattooed (specifically when it goes over a bone). If that sort of thing gives you the squick, I wouldn't read. Notes: Welcome to... whatever this is. I just missed tattoo!artist Bucky and I hc him as a flirt and a slight pain in the ass so here we are!
Not beta'd, so any mistakes are my own.
“Alright.” Bucky grins, loading up his tattoo needle with ink. “You ready to start?”
“As ready as I’ll ever be.”
“You’ll be fine.” Bucky reassures. “Besides, it’s not like it’s going to be any different from the other ones I’ve done for you.” He chuckles.
He’s right, of course. This is not her first tattoo by Bucky Barnes. In fact, by this point, Bucky’s done most of Y/N’s growing collection of tattoos, and claims to be the very reason she was ‘bit by the tattoo bug’. And he’s right. Since she got her first tattoo from him, Y/N’s been itching to get more. She doesn’t see skin on her arms anymore, she sees empty space, a canvas for Bucky to fill with his art. And if she could, she’d have him cover her entire body with it.
Of course, the fact that her favourite tattoo artist (his words, not hers... although she agrees with him) is the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen is also why she keeps rushing back whenever she can. And he's also a massive flirt. Yet although it’ll never amount to anything, it never does… that doesn’t mean she can’t spend their sessions hoping for it. That one day he’ll notice her, really notice her, and tell her he’s just as much in love with her as she is with him.
As Bucky gets to work, Y/N turns her head, watching him. Of course, a lot of her sessions are also spent oogling her tattoo artist. Multicoloured tattoos of various designs and sizes cover Bucky's arms, piquing her curiosity. She's always wanted to ask him about them, to tell her the stories behind them, what was going on in his life back then to make him choose that design.
The familiar warm feeling of love begins to pool in her gut again, and Y/N sighs.
There's a lot of things she wants to know about Bucky.
"I can see you staring, you know."
"Just checking you're doing a good job." She lies. Bucky rolls his eyes.
"Oh, please." He looks down at her, trademark smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. "You use that excuse all the time. You just can't resist me."
Asshole.
Thankfully, Bucky soon drops it, going back to working on her tattoo. Today, he’s doing a piece that snakes up her arm and onto her shoulder, meaning he’s frequently getting up close and personal, more so than she’s used to. However, she doesn’t mind that at all.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
As Bucky works, Y/N occasionally glances over at him, still watching him curiously. Both because she actually enjoys seeing Bucky at work, and because again, he’s gorgeous. Thankfully, Bucky doesn't seem to have noticed this time. Or if he does, he doesn't call her out on it.
Some of Bucky’s brunette strands escape his man bun, framing his face. Y/N has to stop herself from reaching up and tucking it behind his ear. Despite how close she and Bucky are, that gesture is too intimate, too close for them… even as he moves further up her arm and onto her shoulders.
At one point, she glances over again, not realising he’s a lot closer than expected. So much so that her skin almost brushes against Bucky’s hair. For a split second, a flash of pink crosses Bucky's cheeks, and she frowns. Was he...blushing? Because of her?
“Oh, sorry.” She murmurs, her cheeks burning. How does he even look hotter up close? “Just tell me to move back if you want… or just move me out of the way.” She jokes awkwardly, only adding to her embarrassment. Hopefully, this session will be over before she makes even more of a fool of herself in front of Bucky.
“It’s okay.” Bucky smirks, running a hand through his few strands of hair, a sight that makes Y/N glad she’s laying down to witness. “You’re perfect, actually.” He chuckles. “Don’t tell the others I said this… but you’re my favourite client.” He winks.
She swears this man will be the death of her some day.
As Bucky continues the tattoo, he suddenly goes over a tender area, and she winces in pain. “You okay? You’re doing great, but let me know if you wanna stop, alright?” Bucky says. Gritting her teeth, Y/N nods.
“I’m good.” She gasps. "I just forgot how much that hurts."
It’ll all be worth it. It always is.
At least, getting to see Bucky makes it worth it, anyway.
“Good girl." Bucky smirks.
Fucker.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The remainder of the session passes in silence, and Y/N’s head swirls. If she told him the truth, laid her heart out on the line… would it be so bad?
She braces herself, opening her mouth to speak. But Bucky gets there first.
“You know Y/N, we’ve known each other for long enough that I feel like we’re friends. So the trust between us is solid enough.” He chuckles, refilling his ink.
In actuality, she and Bucky have known each other for almost three years. Not that she’s been counting or anything. And despite Bucky doing most of her tattoos, she’s been at the shop infrequently enough that she wouldn’t consider themselves ‘friends’. But the thought that Bucky considers them friends makes her heart do that funny thing it always does whenever she sees Bucky - when it somehow beats too fast and almost stops.
God, she wants him so badly.
“Yeah, that’s true. And besides, you’ve been up close and personal with me a lot.” She chuckles, another batch of heat spreading across her cheeks. Bucky laughs brightly, and Y/N grins just as wide.
“You’re right, I have.” He nods. “To be honest, by this point I’m convinced I could say or do anything, and you’d say ‘yeah!’, tattoos or otherwise.”
“Yeah!” she giggles.
“Okay.” Bucky muses, looking up at her with a smirk. “Go on a date with me then.”

“Hongjoong, will you stop pacing?” Exasperated, I stood in front of him, blocking his path. “You’ve made my floorboards at least 3 shades lighter. Now can you please tell me why you’ve barged into my house at 3 o’clock in the morning with the intention of putting a dent in my living room floor?”
“Okay, so, remember that little trip we have with some of the boys on Saturday?”
Curling back into the corner of the sofa, I nodded, “Yeah, what about it?”
Hongjoong smiled awkwardly as he inched away from me, “Well, um, some of the boys has turned into all of the boys.”
Raising a brow, I sent him a look, “Okay? Why are you getting so worked up about that?”
“It means Wooyoung’s gonna be there as well.”
“So?”
Hongjoong frowned as he looked at me, “You’re alright with Wooyoung being there?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Standing up, I made my way back into my bedroom, Hongjoong trailing behind me as he turned off the lights.
“I - uh- I just, you two have a love-hate relationship going on, just thought that you might want to get away from all that while you're trying to relax.”
Pulling my duvet back, I paused before looking up at Hongjoong, who was leaning against the wall, “Wha-? Why would you think that?”
Slipping into bed, I looked at Hongjoong as he made his way to the door.
“You two bicker. A lot. Every time you see each other, you bicker. Doesn't it get tiring sometimes?”
“It’s just how we are. I mean, yes, he knows how to get on my nerves, and can sometimes not know when to stop talking, but he’s a good b- a good friend. I wouldn't change it for anything.”
Turning my back to him, I reached my hand out and turned off the lights.
"You know where the guest rooms are, now goodnight, Joong."
Tumblr media
I watched as Hongjoong slid into the passenger side of the car before I looked at Wooyoung in the backseat grinning.
Leaning down next to Hongjoong's window, I raised a brow at both him and Seonghwa, "You two do know that you've just assigned yourselves a death sentence by putting Wooyoung and I in the same car, right?"
Sliding into the seat next to Wooyoung, I watched as Seonghwa adjusted the rear-view mirror before backing out the driveway with a nod, "Yeah, yeah, just don't bicker the whole way there or else I'm gonna be throwing one of you out."
Casting a glance at Wooyoung, I nodded, "As long as he knows when to shut up, we'll be fine Hwa."
Wooyoung pouted, putting a hand on his chest dramatically as he leaned over to me, "How could you say that about me?"
Rolling my eyes, I pushed his face away from mine, "Oh, hush, ask anyone in our friend group what your favourite pastime is and they'll say trying to rile me up."
I could see him nod in my peripheral vision, "True, I like seeing you all riled up, you get all pouty and it's cute."
Making a sound from the back of my throat, I turned to look at him, "I don't pout when I'm annoyed."
Wooyoung was about to say something when Hongjoong cut in, "You do. You furrow your brows and then start pouting."
Looking over to Seonghwa, I saw him nod along, "Yeah, they're right." Stopping at a red light, he glanced back at me and grinned, "You're doing it right now."
Pausing, I realised that, yes, I was indeed pouting.
Running a hand over my face, I glared at the three men laughing at me, "Why are you guys ganging up on me today?"
I felt Wooyoung put his hand on top of my head as he ruffled up my hair, "Because it's fun."
Swatting his hand away, I tried to smooth down my hair, "Stop it. I just washed my hair this morning, and if it gets all frizzy because you did that, you and I are gonna have a talk, pretty boy."
Chuckling, Wooyoung pushed my hands out of the way before running his own over my hair, "Your hair's fine sweetheart."
I could see Hongjoong share a confused look with Seonghwa before he glanced back at us. Ignoring it, I chose to concentrate on my phone.
Replying to the messages Mingi sent me, I felt a presence next to me. Turning my head to the side, I frowned when I noticed Wooyoung's face right next to mine.
Glancing up at Hongjoong and Seonghwa, I kept my voice low, "What are you doing?"
"Quick question."
Feeling his lips brush the shell of my ear, I leaned back slightly, "What is it? And can you please quit breathing down my neck, it tickles."
Wooyoung chuckled slightly, "Whatever you say. I just wanted to ask if we're telling them tonight?"
"Yeah?" Turning my head to look at him, "When else are we gonna tell them? I don't think you can keep your hands to yourself for two days, Woo."
Wooyoung smirked, amusement dancing in his eyes as he thought of something, "Hmm, I definitely won't be able to."
Tumblr media
Arriving at the holiday house late in the afternoon, everyone had just about enough time to settle into their rooms before our dinner would arrive.
Exiting the bathroom, I noticed Wooyoung sitting in my bed, mindlessly scrolling through his phone.
Making my way over, I sat down next to him, "And to what do I owe this pleasure?"
Grinning, Wooyoung put his phone down and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me closer, "Just came to see how my pretty baby's doing."
Scrunching up my nose at the nickname, I let out a small chuckle, "I should be the one asking you that. You're the one that's been scared to tell them."
Tightening his arm around my waist, Wooyoung nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, "That's only because I'm afraid one of them is gonna castrate me. They're all like overprotective brothers and it's scary."
Wiggling out of his arms, I stood up from the bed, holding a hand out to him, "Come on, let's go down, they're probably already in the kitchen."
Wooyoung latched on to my hand, pulling me out of the bedroom and downstairs. As we rounded the corner to the kitchen, we paused when we heard Hongjoong talking.
In the kitchen, the rest of the boys were setting up the table ready for dinner as Hongjoong and Seonghwa took the food off the serving carts, "No, but something felt strange between them. Hwa, back me up here."
Seonghwa set the last plate on the table with a shrug, "Yeah, they were acting a bit weird. I mean, they were still bickering, but also, like, flirting."
Everyone looked at Hongjoong and Seonghwa in disbelief as Yeosang let out a laugh, "I'm sorry, flirting? Those two? Okay, Wooyoung might come off a bit flirty at times, but that's because he's Wooyoung. It's not like Y/N flirts back."
Hongjoong simply nodded, leaning against the kitchen island, "Yeah, that's what normally happens, but Y/N called him 'pretty boy' today."
Sharing a look with Wooyoung, I could see the amusement dancing in his eyes. Shaking my head, I entered the kitchen with Wooyoung following behind me.
"And what are we talking about?"
The sound of my voice startled them as they whipped their heads towards us.
Jongho's eyes flickered between Wooyoung and I before glaring at Wooyoung when he caught something in his expression, "No."
I felt Wooyoung snake an arm around me, grinning up at Jongho, "I'm gonna have to say, yes."
Jongho threw his head back as he let out a groan, "Ugh, we're gonna have to deal with you two bickering AND flirting?" Jongho made his way to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of beer, "This is going to be a long weekend, beer anyone?"
The others looked at each other before Mingi broke the silence, "Uh, anyone want to fill us in?"
Running a hand over my face, I grinned awkwardly at them, "We're dating?"
Tumblr media
Turning on the reading lamp, I picked up my book as I waited for Wooyoung to finish in the bathroom.
"Well," Flinching slightly, I was startled by Wooyoung's sudden entrance, "That went better than I expected."
Looking up, I watched as Wooyoung exited the bathroom, the lettering at the base of his neck and the serpent that curled at his shoulder blade on display.
"Really?" Putting the book down, I arched an eyebrow as he slid in next to me. "What did you think would happen?"
Once Wooyoung was comfortable against the headboard, I sat up, opting to staddle Wooyoung with my arms wrapped around his neck as his hands found purchase on my waist.
"Definitely didn't think Hongjoong was going to point a wooden spoon at me and threaten to hunt me down with one of his easels."
Laughing, I couldn't help but envision Hongjoong chasing Wooyoung with an easel, "What would he even accomplish? Those things are heavy!"
Sliding one of my hands down, I traced the tattoo over his chest as the other played with the hairs on the nape of his neck.
Wooyoung picked up the hand on his chest and raised it up to his lips, pressing a kiss at the pulse point, "What's going through that pretty little head of yours, hmm?"
Chewing on the inside of my cheek, I raised my eyes to meet his, a shy expression taking over my face, "I wanna get a tattoo."
Wooyoung's eyebrows shot up as he looked up at me in surprise, "Yeah? I thought you were afraid of needles."
Humming, I felt Wooyoung's hands slip under my shirt, his thumbs rubbing circles on my hips, "I am, but I want to get one and maybe a few more piercings."
Wooyoung grinned as he nuzzled into the side of my face, lips brushing against my cheek, "Want me to do them for you, pretty?"
Pulling back slightly, I looked at him, "Please?"
Wooyoung pressed a kiss on my lips, leaning his forehead against mine, "Let's talk about this tomorrow. I'll book you in when the new shop opens."
Wooyoung's arms tightened around me, pulling me flush against his chest as his lips found their way down the column of my neck.
Tumblr media
“Please tell me you’re joking.”
Turning my head to glance at Hongjoong, I took a step closer to him as we made our way down the street.
“What?” I shrugged, turning to face ahead. “I’ve wanted to get a tattoo for ages. Plus, I want to get a couple more piercings, so, why not?”
Hongjoong looked at me in disbelief, “You’re terrified of needles. You can’t even get a shot without getting all anxious, and you think you can sit through being jabbed continuously with one?”
I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at his words, “You’re exaggerating, I’m just not too fond of needles, that’s all.”
Hongjoong moved to hook an arm with mine, “Hmmm. When are you getting it done?”
Glancing at the watch on my wrist, I looked at him with a sheepish smile, “My appointment’s in about 10 minutes, so, um let's hurry up.”
Hongjoong paused for a second before pinching my arm, “You could’ve told me sooner!”
“Yeah, well, uh, we’re here.”
Stopping in front of a glass door, Hongjoong squinted up at the sign above.
“This is Wooyoung and San’s new shop.”
“It is.”
Pushing the door open, Hongjoong and I walked in, taking a seat as San handed me a couple pieces of paper to look through.
“You chose Wooyoung over ME?” Hongjoong whined as he looked at me with a pout.
Not even looking up, I shook my head, "As much as I love you, Joong, the tattoos that you do are too.... extravagant for my taste."
Signing the last piece of paper, I handed them to San before looking at Hongjoong, "Are you staying out here with San?"
Seeing him nod, I stood up and made my way to the last room down the corridor, where Wooyoung's workstation was.
Pushing the door open, I saw Wooyoung moving around the room, getting everything ready for the tattoo. Upon hearing the door creak open, he looked up, a smile making its way across his face when he saw me.
Closing the door behind me, I let Wooyoung wrap his arms around me and press a kiss on my temple.
"Nervous?"
Nodding against him, I stepped back, placing my bag and jacket on the chair next to the door.
"Of course I am."
Wooyoung gave me a soft smile as he motioned me over to the workbench, "Come on, I'll do your piercings first."
Settling down, I clipped my hair back as Wooyoung put his gloves on.
"You want two more helix piercings, yeah? Same ear?"
Nodding, I watched as Wooyoung took a marker out, marking the positions of the piercings in my left ear before setting it down and taking a sterile needle out. Screwing my eyes closed, I turned my head to the side as I held onto the sides of Wooyoung's shirt as he slotted himself between my legs.
Hearing Wooyoung countdown quietly, I let out a small breath before wincing as the needle went through.
"Alright, one more to go."
Once the second one went through, I slowly let go of Wooyoung's shirt, smoothing down the wrinkles as Wooyoung changed out the needles for studs.
Turning to look at him, Wooyoung gave me an encouraging smile as he ran his hand up and down my thighs.
"Ready for the tattoo, pretty?"
Seeing me nod, Wooyoung stepped back from me to prepare his tattoo gun, "You're gonna have to take off your shirt and bra, babe."
Unbuttoning my shirt, I slid it off my shoulders before unhooking my bra. Turning on the bench, I leaned my back against the seat with an arm covering myself.
Wooyoung snapped on a pair of fresh gloves before seating himself on the stool next to me to start prepping my skin, "Ready?"
Casting a nervous side glance, I smiled, "Definitely."
Wooyoung pressed a quick kiss on my cheek before turning on the tattoo gun. Hearing the buzz fill the room, my body tensed slightly, before relaxing under Wooyoung's touch.
Feeling the needle prick my skin, I leaned my head back and closed my eyes. The tattoo was a simple chrysanthemum design on the side of my ribs, and it didn't take long to complete.
Wiping away the excess ink, Wooyoung leaned back to have a better look before tilting his head towards the mirror, "Go on, take a look before I wrap it."
Hoping off the bench, I made my way to the side of the room where the mirror was.
Scanning my eyes over the design, I smiled, "This is good."
Chuckling, Wooyoung made his way over to me with a bandage in hand, "Of course it does! I did it!"
Chuckling, I waited until Wooyoung finished whatever it was that he needed to do, before turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck, pressing a kiss on his lips, "Thank you."
"My pleasure, pretty. But why a chrysanthemum?"
Smiling, I let go of him and went over to the bench to slip my shirt back on, "It's the birth flower for November."
Putting my bra into my bag, I turned to see Wooyoung standing at his workstation with a disinfectant spray in hand with a surprised expression, "Oh? So, it's for me then?"
Shaking my head, a fond smile made its way across my face, "I was born in November too, pretty boy."
Wooyoung wiped down the remaining bit of the workstation before walking out the door with me, my bag and jacket in hand.
"Yeah, but I'd much rather think it's for me."
Laughing, I paused slightly when we entered the reception area, "Uh, where are San and Hongjoong?"
Wooyoung picked up a sticky note from behind the reception desk, "Well, they've left already. You were the last one of the day."
Looking out the window, I noticed that it was raining pretty heavily outside.
"Did you drive here, babe?"
Wooyoung handed me my jacket before taking his off the clothing rack by the door, "Yeah, it's parked down the street."
Exiting the shop, Wooyoung locked to door before turning to me, placing his jacket over the top of our heads, "Dinner at mine?"
Seeing me nod, we both darted out into the rain and ran towards his car.
Reaching the car, Wooyoung quickly unlocked it allowing me to slide into the passenger side, shaking my arms slightly.
Wooyoung got into the seat beside me, shaking his head slightly to get rid of some of the water particles in there.
Turning on the car ignition, Wooyoung turned to me, smiling, "What? You're staring, pretty."
Taking his hand, I pressed a kiss on the back of it, "I love you."
Wooyoung's hand tightened its hold on mine before letting go to tilt my head towards him. He leaned over the centre console, one of his hands finding its way to the back of my head as his lips found mine.
"I love you too."

ghostsoap coffee shop au where Soap has been down bad for the past 2 years since he started working at the coffee shop and first saw the hot tattoo artist working across the street, but he had never made any moves because 1. he doesn't even know if Ghost is interested in men (or anyone, really) and 2. the guy seems too reserved to enjoy someone throwing themself at him, so instead, he just settled for small talk every time, trying to make Simon warm up to him slowly. They became friends, of course, no one could resist Johnny and his charm, even if the Brit always denied it and stayed rough around the edges. And then a new barista comes into the picture, a gorgeous one. They were all over Ghost the second they saw him.
To say that his blood was boiling every time he saw that would be an understatement, a big one. There was nothing in those moments he hated more and if looks could kill, the new barista would be long dead. Too bad it didn't work. Too bad Soap, instead of just telling Ghost he liked him, watched the way the new one was flirting with Simon so openly and the tattoo artist was playing into it.
Johnny had became so fucking grumpy after a week of that, everyone noticed, especially Ghost, because he was on the recieving end of it. And if there was one thing Johnny could do, it was being passive aggressive while mad.
Don't be fooled though, he wasn't unprofessional, but he definitely cut the small talk, turned down Ghost every time he tried to chat, gods, he even made up tasks to do just do he didn't have to be around Ghost and the new guy if they had a shift together and the artist came around. Everyone noticed.
Gaz tried asking, of course, the good friend he is. He knew Johnny fancied Simon, so the sudden change of hearts was unexpected until he saw the new barista with Ghost. It all made sense suddenly.
That's how Kyle came up with a way to force Johnny to finally talk to Simon.
To be fair, it wasn't hard, convincing his friend. The hardest part was making him admit that he was jealous, then it all went smoothly. Soap was of course, still grumpy and still angry with Ghost for not putting two and two together, but Kyle, gods bless this man's soul for putting up with it all, could be really persuasive.
And that's how, through a needlessly complicated and twisted plan that could have been executed in many more simple ways, Simon finally took a hint as to why his favourite barista was mad at him, and – of course – he did his best to make up for it. Not openly, he wasn't some soppy teenage boy that would turn into a puddle when someone he fancied was angry. It was just simply not him to act that way. So, instead, he left little gifts for Soap, nothing overly elaborate, he'd, for example, buy something to eat with his coffee, things he knew Jonny enjoyed and leave them for the Scot, instead of taking them, always brushing it off as "not having enough time to eat" when he finished his drinks.
It took a good month for John MacTavish to get over it, over thirty days of Simon doing little things for him so the barista would go back to his previous self. Him and Ghost may and may not have gone out after that, too, but that's a story for another day.
I wrote this at work mostly lmao (I don't even work at a coffee shop) (don't eat me it's the first writing I've posted properly in years) (you won't see me here for months after this 🫶)
it's embarrassing to post anything on Tumblr so if this flops I'm deleting my account and burying myself 3 feet under

Inked by desire - Akaza x Reader
Warnings: smut w/o plot, modern au, tattoo artist!akaza, dirty talk, vaginal sex Synopsis: despite his professional demeanor, Akaza finds himself unable to resist the temptation and ends up taking you to the back room of his tattoo shop where he passionately claims you as his own
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
As you scroll through the numerous tattoo shops online, you come across one with glowing reviews and a stunning portfolio of intricate designs. The name of the tattoo artist is Akaza, and you're immediately drawn to the intricate and beautiful artwork he has created. You decide to book an appointment with him, hoping that he can create something unique and special for you.
Days later, you find yourself standing outside the tattoo shop, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. The sign outside reads "Rampage Ink," and the interior is just as impressive as the website promised. The walls are adorned with examples of Akaza's work, ranging from delicate floral designs to bold, geometric patterns.
As you approach the front desk, a rather tall and imposing man emerges from the back room. He introduces himself as Akaza, his voice deep and smooth.
You feel a shiver run down your spine as he appraises you with a piercing gaze.
Akaza, the artist, is a towering figure, bulky and muscular, with broad shoulders and thick arms that are covered in intricate tattoos that seem to tell a story. His hair is short and black, with the ends dyed a vibrant pink. He wears a tight-fitting black plain t-shirt that hugs his chest and biceps, showing off his impressive physique. His black jeans have a stylish distressed look, with a hole on one knee that adds to his a little edgy appearance. Despite his imposing size, Akaza moves with a surprising grace, his every movement fluid and precise. He carries himself with a confident swagger, a man who knows his own worth and isn't afraid to show it. His piercing gaze seems to penetrate to the very core of a person, and when he speaks, his voice carries a low, rumbling power that commands attention. "Ah, you must be my next appointment," he says, a sly smile playing at the corners of his lips. As he approaches you, he can see that you're already nervous. He can't help but notice how exposed you are, with your boobs almost falling out of your tight shirt with a plunging neckline and your legs barely covered by a miniskirt. He can see that you're confident, but he can also see the small details that betray your nervousness. Akaza is used to clients who are nervous or even scared of getting a tattoo, but he can sense that you're particularly on edge. The moment Akaza laid his eyes on you, he felt a surge of possessiveness and desire that he couldn't quite explain. He knew that he wanted you, and that he would have you. "Come with me, and we'll get started on your tattoo."
You follow him to the back room, taking in the dim lighting and the low hum of music in the background.
Akaza gestures to the tattooing bed and asks you to take a seat, his eyes never leaving your face. "Tell me, what kind of design were you thinking of?" he asks, his fingers already starting to trace the lines of your skin.
You can feel the heat of his touch and the way it sends shivers down your spine. You take a deep breath, gathering your thoughts. "It's actually my first tattoo, and I was thinking of something floral. But I want it in a place that not everyone can see."
As you describe your vision for the tattoo, Akaza nods along, his face taking on a look of intense concentration. He begins to sketch out the design on a sheet of paper, his movements fluid and precise. "I think the best possible location for this tattoo would be your abdomen," he says, pointing to the area just above your pubic mound. "It's a spot that's easy to hide if you need to, and it's not as sensitive as some other areas, so it shouldn't be too painful," he informs you. As you lay back on the tattooing bed, Akaza orders, "Alright, now lift your shirt and tug your skirt down a little. I need to make sure I can see the pace properly." As he prepares his tattoo gun and positions himself, you stop him abruptly. "Wait, sir," you say, your voice laced with anxiety. "I don't think I can do this…"
Akaza doesn't immediately respond, instead taking a moment to study your face. He sees the fear in your eyes, the way your body tenses up. Akaza sets down the tattoo gun and gestures for you to sit up. "Hey," he whispers, his voice gentle. "It's okay. We can stop if you will want. But if you're up for it, I have an idea that might help." He watches as you bite your lip, waiting patiently for him to share his idea with you, and he can feel his desire grow. He can see that your nipples are hardened, even through the fabric of the shirt you're wearing. It's hot in the studio, but he knows that there is only one reason for that. "I can help you ease some stress," he says with a grin, his eyes lingering on your body. As his fingers deliberately graze your knee, it's evident that the touch is anything but accidental.
You blush at his words, but you can feel your own desire growing. You can see the hunger in his eyes, and it sends shivers down your spine. "I can see the way you're looking at me. It's kind of intense, sir." From the moment your eyes first beheld the figure of Akaza, you knew with utter certainty that he would be the bane of your existence. He exuded an aura of dangerous sensuality that was utterly irresistible, drawing you inexorably toward him with a magnetic force that left you powerless to resist. His piercing gaze seemed to strip away all pretense and lay bare the very essence of your being, leaving you feeling exposed and vulnerable in a way that was both exhilarating and terrifying. You can feel your heart pounding in your chest as he leans in closer to you. You can smell his strong cologne, and it's driving you wild. You can feel the heat building between you, and you know that you want him just as much as he wants you.
"I just want you to relax before we start," he utters, his lips brushing against your ear.
You moan softly, unable to resist him any longer. Twirling a strand of hair around your finger with a mischievous glint in your eye, you inquire, "So, Akaza, how do you plan on helping me cope with all this stress?"
Akaza takes your hand.
You hop off the bed and follow him.
The man leads you to the door of another room in the tattoo shop. As he pushes it open, the smell of antiseptic and ink fills your nostrils. The room is bright and spacious, with a large tattooing bed in the center and shelves filled with ink bottles and tattoo equipment lining the walls.
So there you are, kneeling in front of a man whom you hardly know, engulfing his entire length inside your mouth, flicking and circling your tongue around it, utterly intoxicated by the sensation, looking up at him. Akaza's well-endowed member causes discomfort in your mouth, as his size is quite overwhelming. You have one hand resting between your thighs, legs slightly spread. Your fingers are teasing your already slick clit, having pushed your panties aside.
He is fully aware of his impressive size, taking pleasure in the sight of you struggling to handle it. His confidence only grows as he slips his hands into your hair, tugging at it occasionally, while emitting satisfied grunts. Suddenly, he firmly grasps your hair and begins thrusting vigorously, his sole aim being to release his load deep in your throat. The grip of your throat around his manhood is heavenly, so tight that it causes him to let out a throaty moan.
Tears stream down your face as he holds your head in place, your eyes rolling back as he empties himself deep down your throat. Mascara smudges down your cheeks, evidence of your surrender to his desires.
Akaza smirks wryly while looking down at you, his voice filled with a sense of satisfaction as he says, "Swallowed it all like a good slut, huh? You fucking cockslut." His eyes are fixed on you, watching your reaction as his calloused hand caresses your cheek.
Akaza takes hold of your elbow and pulls you up to your feet with a firm grip. Without a chance to catch your breath, he slams you against the mirror and fucks you relentlessly. The glass fogs from his heavy breathing while you moan uncontrollably, gripping his shirt and sobbing in pure ecstasy.
This is the thickest and best cock you've ever had, and it's driving you wild.
He lifts one of your legs, wrapping it around his hip, thrusting harder and faster, filling the room with wet, nasty sounds from your abused pussy. "You're so fucking tight, cunt. You came to me almost uncovered," he muses, his voice low and teasing. "Either you wanted to flaunt yourself or you were seeking to get fucked," Akaza remarks bluntly, his thrusts become sloppier with time.
Your body trembles as you climax and cream on his cock, taking all of his cum inside of you.
As it all comes to an end, he grabs your face with his hand and gives you the sloppiest kiss you've ever experienced. A string of saliva connects your lips when he pulls away. "You really took it all like a good, little whore," Akaza says, smirking at you.
After the intense intercourse with Akaza, you feel a sense of relaxation and contentment wash over you.
Akaza notices this and leads you back to the tattooing bed with a confident stride, ready to continue his artistry. The atmosphere in the room has changed; it is now charged with a quiet intensity and focus. As he prepares his tools, Akaza explains the steps in the tattooing process, his voice low and soothing, as if no passionate events had occurred between the two of you.
As he begins to work on your tattoo, you can feel his hands on your skin. They're strong and skilled. Akaza gives you a warm smile, sensing that you're feeling more at ease now.
You can feel the gentle pressure of the needle on your skin, a sensation that is simultaneously painful and pleasurable. The pain is bearable, and you find yourself relaxing into the rhythm of Akaza's movements. The man's using his expert touch to create the design you've chosen. As he works, he keeps up a steady stream of conversation, asking about your interests and sharing stories from his own life, ever so casually.
It's a distraction that helps take your mind off the pain, and you find yourself relaxing more and more as time goes on. After what had just happened, the slight stings caused by the tattoo gun's needles feels insignificant to you.
It is an easy job for Akaza to finish the tattoo since your mind is still reeling from the pleasure he had given you. Akaza finishes the intricate design with ease, his skilled hands moving fluidly with the tattoo gun.
You feel a slight stings as the needle punctures your skin, but your mind is elsewhere. You can still feel his firm grasp on you, his cock buried deep inside you as you both moaned in ecstasy.
When he's finished, he steps back to admire his work, but he's not just admiring the tattoo - Akaza is admiring you. "You look even more beautiful with the tattoo," he praises, his voice low and seductive. He offers you a discount on the tattoo, still grinning from the intense pleasure you both shared.
You eagerly ask if you can come back in maybe two weeks for another tattoo, and he nods his head, knowing that he has you under his spell. As you leave the shop, you can still feel the aftershocks of pleasure pulsing through your body. You know that you will be back for more, unable to resist the allure of the tattoo artist named Akaza and his skilled hands.

DRAGONS AND DAFFODILS
Tumblr media
PAIRING. tattoo artist!dan heng x gn!reader
WORD COUNT. 1,438
WARNINGS. 16+, slightly suggestive content? nothing explicit
SUMMARY. you impulsively walk into a tattoo shop, see a gorgeous man with blue eyes and a dragon tattoo along his arm, and immediately decide you need to get a tattoo from him now.
SOF’S NOTE. been wanting to get another tattoo so this is a random drabble that stemmed from that HDKAKFH hope y’all enjoy this lil au :> lets drool over tatted dan heng together <3
Tumblr media
It wasn't your first tattoo, but just from walking in here, you knew it’d certainly be your most memorable.
You weren’t normally one to impulsively head into a tattoo shop and ask if they took walk-ins, but it was a random Friday night and this place happened to catch your eye as you were on your way home. The moment you walked inside, you instantly saw a gorgeous man with dark hair and a dragon tattoo and new you had come to the right place.
“Are you nervous?” he asked, glancing at the expression on your face as he wiped down the area of your upper thigh that he was about to work on.
You nodded. “A little.” But most likely not for the reasons he was thinking.
The man, who introduced himself as Dan Heng, gave you a comforting smile. It was charming enough to make your stomach flutter ever so slightly. You were definitely just a tad bit nervous. But it was more because of the pretty man giving you the tattoo, not the prospect of the tattoo itself.
“If you’re nervous, just know you can always ask for a break or have me slow down,” promised Dan Heng, giving you a gentle squeeze on your leg. “Remember, you control the pace here.”
You weren’t quite sure how you managed not to flush at his words and somehow articulated a coherent response.
“Thank you. I appreciate it,” you said, a smile on your face disguising your inner turmoil. He was so gentle, yet firm. Confident, but quiet. While you knew it was only a tattoo you were getting, you couldn’t help but fantasize a little.
Dan Heng hummed in response, transferring his design onto your thigh with the thermal stencil paper in the placement he viewed best. He took a step back and nodded, then gestured for you to stand in front of the mirror.
“How is the placement?”
You shifted around and admired his line art on your body. Even though it was just the stencil so far and not the finished product, you could already tell it would look even better than you asked for. “Perfect!”
Bouncing in excitement, you made your way back to the tattoo bed and Dan Heng got his needles and ink ready.
“You seem less nervous now,” he commented with a laugh, noticing the way you rushed over to get back into position for him to tattoo you.
You grinned sheepishly. “I guess seeing your design on me took the nerves away. Now I’m just excited!”
“I am glad to hear that.”
He held the tattoo pen in one hand and grabbed a clean cloth to wipe the excess ink. Soon, Dan Heng began the process. His gloved hand held your thigh firmly in place as the other began to work its magic. You stared at the gorgeous art on his arm to attempt to distract yourself from the inevitable pain and slight discomfort.
True to his word, he checked up on you often, asking if you needed him to slow down, and obliging when you asked for a small break. He got you some water and snacks as you propped yourself up on the tattoo bed for a small breather.
“We are almost done,” he promised, staring at the area just below your hip as he admired his work. “You’re doing so good.”
Your cheeks heated up at his compliment. While you have gotten tattoos before, you have never been praised like this by a tattoo artist. You wondered if he was like this to all his clients.
It was wishful thinking, but part of you hoped he wasn’t.
“So, does your tattoo hold any sort of meaning?” you asked, admiring the black and green inks of the long dragon as you took a sip of your drink.
He chuckled. “Which one?” Dan Heng pulled the black short sleeve of his shirt up to show you the full face on his shoulder and back. “If you’re talking about the dragon, then yes, I suppose it does.”
You blinked at him a few times, urging him to go on.
Dan Heng smiled and continued, “In Chinese culture, different colored dragons symbolize different things.”
Nodding, you eyed the blue and green hues along the serpentine body of the dragon.
“This in particular represents new life— That spring is coming.” He ran a finger down the length of his tattoo, drawing your eyes to the curvature of his arm muscles. “I’m particularly fond of the idea of new beginnings. As if we don’t need to be held back by our pasts.”
Though he didn’t elaborate, he had already opened up so much with just those words. You were grateful for this moment of vulnerability and connection, regardless on whether or not it was with a stranger you had just met.
“And does the tattoo you’re getting today mean something special to you?” asked Dan Heng, watching as you laid back down and exposed your upper thigh to him, preparing to continue the session. For a second too long his eyes travelled along the length of your legs, lingering on the smooth expanse of skin before turning his attention to the unfinished tattoo.
You smirked to yourself, purposely shifting the position of your leg to draw his attention back to it. As you predicted, Dan Heng’s gaze followed.
After a moment, you considered his question. While you didn’t come into the tattoo shop with a design in mind that symbolized something important to you, you felt that all tattoos were special because of the story around it.
“Not particularly,” you admitted, glancing at the beginnings of a beautifully drawn bundle of daffodils. “I mean, I’m aware of the symbolism that accompanies this flower, of course— Rebirth and new beginnings.” You smiled cheekily. “Uncannily similar to yours, but completely unintentional. I promise you that.”
He returned your smile with an amused look of his own. “A fateful coincidence, perhaps.”
“Exactly!” you laughed. “Still, the symbolism is not why I wanted it. I just think the flower is pretty and, ultimately, it does represent something I wouldn’t regret having drawn permanently on my body.” It was a simply thought, really. You thought the meanings behind people’s tattoos were sacred and special, but sometimes there was nothing more to it. And that was a good enough reason to get a tattoo as well. “But I will definitely always look back and remember the story of our first encounter whenever I see it.”
Dan Heng nodded, gloves back on as his hand rested on your thigh. “I find the experience of receiving a tattoo can, at times, be as significant as the intended meaning behind it.”
“I agree,” you said, wishing his gloves were off so you could feel the tips of his fingers against your bare skin instead. “And this will certainly be an experience I’ll never forget.”
“Good.” He smiled secretively, as if he could see right through your inner thoughts. Almost teasingly, he softly kneaded your thigh in a small, circular motion. “I won’t forget, either.” There was a sincerity in his tone that made you fully believe what he said. “Now, are you ready to continue?”
You nodded eagerly, already thinking of how pretty the finished outcome would look. “Yes, please!”
Putting all his focus into his art, Dan Heng turned on his tattoo gun and resumed inking your hip and thigh area. With soft and delicate strokes, he created a piece with body and movement. The petals were moving, not stagnant, and he wasn’t even fully finished.
“You should be my last client for the night,” he said quietly as he worked on his final touches, breaking the deep silence that settled between you. For a brief moment, Dan Heng looked up from his craft to meet your gaze. “After this, perhaps we could talk more over a late night food run?”
Your eyes widened, not expecting his sudden offer, but ecstatic nonetheless. You smiled as you said, “If I say yes, will you tell me more about your tattoos?”
He nodded. “Whatever you want to know.”
“I want to learn it all.” Your gaze roamed all over his body, lingering on the toned biceps of his arms, meticulously adorned with the length of the dragon, before landing on the defined muscles of his chest hidden behind his shirt.
With a knowing smile, Dan Heng seemed to understand the hidden implications behind your innocent words. His heavy-lidded eyes seemed to examine all parts of your body, only returning the favor.
“I’m due time,” he promised, “you'll learn everything there is to know.”

A Sokovian Flower

Post Age of Ultron MCU (Female Reader X Wanda Maximoff)
Summary: Wanda wanted a tattoo, which led her to you.
Word Count: 4.1K
Content: Mentions of Sokovia, Wanda's Parents, and dead Pietro. But fluff!
Tumblr media
Wanda Maximoff was nervous.
She had never done something like this before.
Her stomach was in knots, and she had no one to blame but herself. Well, she could blame Petiro, but that would be unfair. She could blame Natasha, but that would only end up with her ass hitting the floor. So that wasn't an option.
Anyways, like stated before... Wanda had no one to blame but herself.
But Wanda really, really, really wanted THIS tattoo!
She had thought about it for the last four months since the fall of her home country and relocation to the States. She wanted something that was her own. Something that would pay tribute.
Wanda eventually decided on the national flower of Sokovia.
For her parents and brother.
But as Wanda bites her lip and waits for you to come out from the back, does she now realize that she has to go through with it.
This is going to be on my body forever. But that's what I want, right?
Wanda keeps going back and forth in her own mind. Her eyebrows scrunching and lifting up. Her fingers crossing over one another.
Wanda closes her eyes and breathes out. She calms herself down.
Yep, I can't do this!
Wanda picks up her ID and goes to turn around just when you come out from the back.
Wanda barely made eye contact with you before, but now she sees you and feels her mouth go dry.
The first place her eyes go to are your ears. Full of silver. Very reminiscent of Natasha. Wanda's eyes then travel down your sharp jawline to the holes in your black shirt, exposing your soft skin before they land on the art covering your arms.
Wanda loves the stars and hearts filling the space between your larger pieces.
Wanda brings her eyes back up to you as she realizes that you're speaking to her. Your voice is gentle.
"Are you having second thoughts?" You ask, making Wanda open and close her mouth.
You're not an idiot. You can see the worry and nerves dancing over the face across from you. It's clearly her first time, and you feel bad that she has no friend or anyone else here with her.
You also noticed her checking you out, but it happens, so you let it slide.
"Ummm, yeah. I'm sorry." Her soft voice quietly speaks up. And you're not sure how you missed it earlier, but you hear her accent.
You love it.
You smile at her words and nod your head before turning around to grab your tablet. Wanda watches you turn back and lay it next to the blank form she had yet to fill out.
"Wanda, right?" You ask as you look up from the email she had written a few days prior. She nods her green eyes at you before crossing her arms over her body.
Black nail polish catches your eye. It goes well with her black hoodie, skirt, and thigh-high socks.
You look back down as she steps closer to the counter. "Ah, the flower... here it is." Wanda watches you fly from the email to a saved folder of your drawings. There, she watches you move your pen to three different versions of the flower. Each one having more detail than the last.
You turn the tablet over to show her.
"I hope you don't mind, but I added more detail. I think it looks very pretty with the shading and linework in the leaves." You point to the second drawing as Wanda smiles. Her green eyes dance from one to the next.
"They're amazing." She says with awe in her words without looking up. She lifts her hands over the third design. It has tiny stars and sparkles around the flower, as well as a diamond design behind the main piece.
Wanda lifts her head to you, and your eyes trace her face in a second.
She's gorgeous, and when she smiles, you smile.
"I- uh-" You pull your eyes away and turn the tablet around before you fumble and grab the form for her to sign. "I- um, if you want to go through with it." You lift your eyes and smile. "You'll need to sign this." Wanda reaches up and grabs the form. "And I'll need your ID to make a photocopy." Wanda looks up, and you see her decide her eyes. "Okay."
Wanda hands you her ID before she takes a seat at the couch near the counter to fill out the form. Before placing her ID in the printer, you take a glance at it.
She wears a pout in her photo that makes you hold back a laugh. She looks so cute. You then quickly glance around the ID before placing it down and hitting print.
When you turn around, you see Wanda finishing up her signature as she bites her lip. Her pretty pink lips.
You then look away and catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror in the corner.
You had to get a hold of yourself.
She was a paying customer, not a random girl across the bar. However, it's not like that has worked out well for you before. Ex-girlfriends and all.
You shrug and return to grab the copy of Wanda's ID and her physical one.
"Here you go." She lays the form down on the counter as you hand back her ID. She quickly places it in her small red wallet before gazing at you. "I can show you to the table and let you get comfortable as I prepare the stencil."
Wanda nods, and you notice her hands pull at the end of her sleeves. "It'll be fine." You whisper and nod at her before leading her to your section of the shop.
It's a cute corner full of all your favorite photos, knickknacks, and collectibles from over the years.
The owner is your former mentor and teacher. And usually, on a Saturday morning, the shop would be busy, but for some reason, it's just you and Wanda.
Not that the brunette minded. Obviously. The fewer people around, the better.
So, as you slid into your chair and hit a few buttons on the machine, Wanda stood by the table with the sheet on it.
As the stencil finished printing, you turned back. "Oh shoot. I'm sorry." You got up with a laugh. "Would you like a water or soda or anything?" Wanda was about to shake her head before she looked over your face.
Yeah, she was thirsty.
"A water. Please." You smiled at her command. "Of course." You turned and bent down to the mini fridge at your feet. You pulled out a water bottle and got up before handing it to her. "Thank you." She replied as she took it.
"You can set it down right here." You pointed to a spot on the cart next to the table that Wanda would be laying on soon. "And anytime you need to take a break or have a sip of water. Whatever. During the tattoo, say something, and I'll stop." You made sure Wanda found your eyes. "Okay?" You asked again until she nodded. "Okay."
You closed your mouth and turned back to the stencil to hold in a "good girl."
Wanda's eyes went wide as she blushed.
She definitely didn't mean to hear that!
"Okay..." You cleared your throat and held up two different sizes. "We can place them, and then you can decide which size you want or-"
"That one." Wanda cut you off as she stepped closer to the one in your right hand. "This is perfect." She said under her breath, but you heard her, and it made you smile. "This one." She said as her eyes found yours.
You nodded. "Let's do it." You placed the smaller stencil down. "Okay, and placement... you didn't say on the from."
Wanda sheepishly nodded. "I was thinking my back..." You nodded. "Okay." But when Wanda didn't move, that's when you put two and two together. "Oh, sorry! I'll give you some space." You went to get up and walk away after drawing the curtain to your space close, but Wanda, without thinking, grabbed your arm and stopped you. "I wasn't thinking earlier and-" Wanda stopped herself with a sigh before she laughed.
Angelic.
Wanda's lips spread into a broader smile. You saw her begin to come out of her shell just a little more.
"I'm not wearing a bra." She said before she bit her bottom lip and looked away.
You could tell she was trying to hide her embarrassment. So you reached your hand to the one she had on your arm. "That's okay." You said before you moved your thumb over her knuckle.
Butterflies flew in both of your stomachs.
"May I?" You ask as you lifted your hand off of hers. Wanda nodded and watched your eyes lift themselves to her hoodie zipper. She felt your thumb brush the skin just below her neck.
Soft was her skin, but Wanda felt it burn once your touch left her.
And then you moved the zipper south just the tiniest bit before Wanda lifted her eyes to yours. "I-or- uh, you can unzip it a-and turn it around so the back of the hoodie covers your front."
Wanda heard you stumble and watched how your eyes looked her face up and down. She enjoyed it.
"I can do that." You smiled back and removed yourself from the room to give Wanda privacy.
Less than a minute later, she called you back in. She had her arms over her body as she held the hoodie close to her front. Meanwhile, Wanda's back was exposed to you, and you could see a faint tan line and several moles and beautiful tiny freckles along her body.
"You okay?" You asked as you put a pair of new gloves on before getting the spray and stencil ready. "Yeah," Wanda replied. "Just a little cold."
You stopped and looked around the room. In the winter, you had a heater in here, but with it being late spring, that was long gone. But your eyes did find something else.
"I have this." You pointed to a corner with a large hand-knitted red blanket that your friend Darcy made one semester in college before you dropped out. "You could bunch up under you, or I can place it on your lower back once you're on the table."
Wanda loved how kind you were being and thought about your suggestion. "Would it get in your way?" You shook your head. "Not at all." Wanda believed you. "Okay. Thanks." She smiled and grabbed the blanket. You watched her wrap around her lower back. "I guess I shouldn't have worn a skirt today." Wanda gave a laugh that made your heart skip, and your mouth said words before you could stop it.
"I think you look beautiful."
Wanda's face turned red like your blanket, and the stencil went still in your hand.
"Oh shit!"
Wanda heard your thoughts and said something before you could. "Thank you..." She bit her bottom lip and turned around so you could place the stencil on her back.
A couple of seconds when you came back to Earth, you did.
"Okay." You took a step away. "See how it looks." Wanda turned her head to the right and found the mirror beside you.
It was perfect.
She knew the process was going to hurt, but in this moment, Wanda would do anything to feel closer to the ones she lost.
"I love it." She said after clearing her throat.
That's when you realized that this wasn't just a random flower. This meant something.
"Perfect." You smiled at her green eyes. "Here." You took your gloves off. "Get comfortable, and I'll adjust the blanket however you want." Wanda let you take it from her and noticed as you turned around to give her a little privacy as she laid onto the table.
She smiled at that. "Okay." She said, and from her 90-degree angle, she watched you turn around. She then felt the blanket cover her entire lower body. It was nice and warm. The act and the care behind it.
"Good?" You bent forward, making Wanda nod. "Awesome." You said. "Remember, if at any point you need to stop, let me know." Wanda nodded once again before parting her lips. "Should we come up with a safe word?"
Your glove snapped as it went around your hand when you stopped at her words. You weren't sure if Wanda was joking, but when you saw her pearly whites, you once again got to see her leaving her shell.
You smiled back.
"Wow, Wanda, take a girl to dinner first." You said back as you picked up the tattoo gun and tested it. Wanda laughed over the noise that scared her just slightly before saying: "Pancake."
You knew what she meant. Even if her accent made the word sound exotic. "Pancake." You repeat. She nodded, getting hair into her eyesight that she blew away. "Pancake, it is Wanda." You then rolled the stool closer to her. "I'm about to start. Don't be afraid to bunch your hands and scream or whatever. You'd be surprised what people do."
"I'll be sure to do all of those things." Wanda joked with a wide smile before she felt your arm rest on her back. The contact sent a wave of goosebumps over her body once again. "Are you still cold?" You asked with the needle inches from her.
"I'll be fine." Wanda lied. "Remember Pancake." You said, earning a thumbs up from the brunette.
Seconds later, Wanda was receiving her first tattoo.
Time passed as Wanda did her best not to let the tears in her eyes fall. She knew you were being careful and cautious. Gentle and light. But god, this hurt.
As you moved further down the flower, your eyes briefly looked at Wanda's, and you saw the water filling them. "You don't have to answer this if you don't want to..." You were going to talk to her to distract her from the droning buzz of the gun and the pain that came with it. "But." You continued. "I'm always curious about people's first tattoos." Wanda sniffled as her green eyes looked at you. "So why this one?"
Wanda let out a breath. She appreciated that you wanted to know more. "It's the national flower of Sokovia." She said, and you stopped shading as you looked down to her face. She was looking down at you. "Sokovia?" You asked, making her nod.
You knew of Sokovia.
You saw the news reports and watched the footage of buildings falling from the face of the earth. You knew about Ultron and the Avengers. And now how the once Eastern European country was slowly being washed from the world maps.
"You're Sokovian?" You asked. "I am," Wanda replied with her accent heavy. You gave a weak smile and paused before saying. "I'm sorry for what happened."
Wanda swallowed the tears in her throat.
You weren't the first person to apologize for the actions based upon others, but you were the first person who probably meant it.
"Thank you." She quietly replied before letting out a breath and some words of truth. "I was there."
You now leaned back in your stool. Maybe this was a good time for a break.
"When it was lifted into the air?" You asked, earning a nod. And as opposed to asking why she was there or how she survived like Wanda would've expected, you instead asked: "Do you have any favorite memories of Sokovia before you left?"
Wanda took in your words and thought about it.
She nodded.
"Sokovia was always on the brink of Civil War and had an uneasiness to it." Wanda paused and lifted up to drink some water. As she moved, she felt the pain and warmth from the fresh art on her body. Nevertheless, she knew the two of you had a while to go. "But.." Wanda smiled as she laid back onto her stomach. "There was this park close to our apartment. Every day after school, I'd run to the swings and try and launch myself as high as possible." Wanda laughed. "I wanted to fly."
You smiled, and for some reason, it was like you could see the stories clearly in your head.
It was beautiful.
"Nights I loved. After schoolwork and chores when it was just my brother Pitero and our parents watching old American sitcoms and having meals, my Mama grew up with..." Wanda trailed off as her voice became soft. "Those nights I'd give anything to have again."
Wanda didn't even feel the tear slip from her eyes.
But you saw it glimmer in the light, and within a second, your gloves were off as you handed Wanda a tissue.
Her fingertips brushed yours as she took it. "I'm sorry." She patted under her eye. "This is so embarrassing." Wanda balled up the tissue before you reached out for it. "No, it's not." You said as Wanda placed the tissue in the palm of your hand. "I think it's sweet." You smiled at Wanda before getting up to quickly wash your hands.
"I'd love to hear more about Sokovia as long as you want to keep talking about it." You said as you slipped on a new pair of black gloves.
Wanda shook her head yes.
And once the needle made contact with Wanda's skin again, did she tell you stories about the bake shop down the block from her school. Or how her brother was almost kicked off the school's track team. She also recounted her favorite episodes of Bewitched once you teasingly pressured her.
The conversation flowed naturally, and by the end, Wanda didn't feel the pain in her back. She only felt it in her cheeks because she was smiling so damn much.
"Okay." You put the gun down and wiped down Wanda's tattoo one last time. "You're free." You joked with a smile as you tossed your gloves away.
"Oh god, I don't think I've ever been so stiff." Wanda cracked her neck before she moved her legs off the table. She wobbled once her feet hit the ground, but thankfully, you were quick to stabilize her. "Here." You handed Wanda her water. "Don't need you passing out or anything before you see it."
Wanda gladly took a few sips before handing it back.
She then took a few steps forward before turning her exposed back to the mirror on the wall. As her green eyes made contact with the black art, she gasped and let out a ragged breath.
"I love it." She whispered before glancing over at you. Your eyes instantly connected to hers. "I love it." She repeated. Her eyes went back. "It's perfect." Up and down, her eyes went before she turned around to grab her phone.
A smaller iPhone than you were used to seeing.
"Could you take a picture?" She asked you, to which you nodded and smiled like a dummy as Wanda turned her back to you.
"Okay." You said after you perfectly framed her body. "I took about fifteen." You laughed before remembering the phone in your pocket. "Wanda?" You looked up at her. "Hmm?" She lifted her face from her phone. "Could I take a few pictures for my Instagram and website?"
"Of course."
Normally, she would've said no. She hated getting her picture taken. But normally, Wanda didn't get tattoos or become this close to someone like this.
Like you.
You were special.
"Thank you." You nodded to her as you put your phone down and grabbed some hand sanitizer. "Okay, let's get the wrap on, and then I can go over the aftercare."
Wanda's focus was back on you, and she hung on your every word.
"Y/N?" Wanda spoke up as your hand slimmed out the clear wrapping on her tattoo. "Wanda?" You said in the same tone, making Wanda teasingly roll her head away from you.
"I was thinking..." She started as you lifted your touch away from her soft skin. "Yes?" You asked as Wanda turned her face back to you.
She cleared her throat and sat up on the table.
"Could I have the pictures you took?" You easily nodded. "Sure, I can DM you on your Instagram or-"
"You could text them," Wanda said with confidence clear in her voice.
You stopped. "Or I could text them." You smiled as you stood up and grabbed a pamphlet of the aftercare process for Wanda to follow. "Here is everything you need to know." Wanda took it gently from your fingers. "What lotions to use. What soaps to not use... I could also text you this information. If you'd like."
You said as Wanda looked up and handed you back the pamphlet.
"You can text me."
You nodded. "Then I'll text you." Wanda shyly looked away from you as you both wore pink on your faces.
You looked around your space. "If you'd like to use the bathroom, it's just down the hall to the right. If not, I can meet you at the counter, and we can discuss cost. I'll only be a couple of minutes."
Wanda nodded and got up. She pulled the black curtain to your space back and was about to step out when she stopped herself and turned around to you. "Thank you. For everything. I'll probably thank you repeatedly, but I want you to know I mean it. They were with me before, but now their little flower has one for them. " She gave a watery smile, and before you could respond, Wanda walked away.
Wanda pulled out her phone, brushed her eyes, pulled her hoodie around, and stared at the tattoo pictures until you joined her at the front.
When you did, you held the red blanket Wanda had been using earlier. "Here." You said as you sat down next to Wanda on the waiting couch. "I'll text you it later, but one of the final steps of aftercare is to have a warm blanket nearby. So here."
Your kindness throughout the whole day meant more than you'd ever know.
Wanda swallowed and reached over, letting her hand run through the blanket before grabbing yours. Soft was her touch.
You let her fingers brush over your knuckles. "Is there a step about good company?" Wanda questioned as her voice became thicker with her accent. Her body leaning forward. "Yes." You nodded. "Company is supposed to take care of dinner." Your voice had become slow as you carefully weaved into this space with Wanda.
"Dinner?" Wanda husked. You simply smiled. "Text me when you're free?" You raised an eyebrow as Wanda looked up and scrunched her face.
She hadn't felt this way in a long time.
And neither had you. So when Wanda gripped your hand and gave you a very nervous but small peck on the lips, you let her.
And Wanda let you give her a discount even though she used the remaining cash she had as a tip.
Moments later. "Sent." Wanda received your text with a blushing emoji quickly, followed by a detailed step-by-step aftercare plan with a video in case Wanda needed it. "Thank you." She said before she texted back an emoji with a smile.
"I'll text you!" Wanda said in response to you as you closed the door to the shop behind her. Only then did you notice that your open sign had been flipped to close.
You didn't remember doing that.
But it didn't matter. You found yourself smiling and laughing all day. Learning about a country you were going to search traditional dishes from.
You met Wanda.
Wanda Maximoff.
You blushed when she texted you about a half hour later, letting you know that she had made it home safe. Wanda then sent a picture of her with the red blanket wrapped around her body.
You and Wanda texted every single day before and after your first date. You made Sokovian meals for her and took her around the city to let her experience anything she wanted. You held her close and kissed her as the two of you found yourselves under the same red blanket. You told her you loved her two months after she introduced you to her co-workers/housemates.
And now, as you wait for Wanda to text you after her mission in Lagos, are you working on a flash tattoo sheet of a scarlet witch.
Your girlfriend.
Wanda Maximoff. Your Sokovian Flower.

Imagine with me.
A Flower-ranchers trio AU where Jimmy is the receptionist to the Bad Boys Tattoo Parlor, Scott is a self-starter flower shop owner, and Tango serves at a local coffee shop. They all work on the same street, and through a series of events probably involving some mixed up order of sorts, they stir up a bit of business chaos between their companies, but still manage to meet and become great friends at the end of all of it.
Tango is often looked upon as the toughest of the three and is sometimes avoided by wary people, but he’s also the most gentle and tender hearted of the three. Jimmy absolutely hates needles, yet his brothers Joel and Grian somehow still roped him into the family business. Scott is a dream chaser who doesn’t let anyone get in his way when he wants something. Even if it means being lonely in his endeavors.
Once they’re friends, they enjoy breakfast together at the Ranch Hand Cafe before departing for their individual work days. Tango convinced his boss to purchase small bouquets from Scott’s flower shop, named Dual Dependence, as part of their cafe table setups. Scott joins Jimmy for lunch every day so that he can have a small break and distraction from being surrounded by needles all day long. The session sign-ins for the tattoo parlor close earlier than the cafe, so most days, Jimmy goes back to the cafe to spend the last hour or so with Tango as he begins the cleanup process from the long shift.
Just an idea.

Perennial Lovers (Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Reader) (Tattoo Artist AU)
Modern Warfare II Masterlist
A/N: This is my longest fic 4.4k words... A/N: This is a birthday present for my mutual @sant-riley please check them out!
A/N: MDNI Summary: Getting a tattoo was something you have always wanted to do. So when you saw that 'The 141 Cowboys Tattoo Shop' was open to walk in you immediately made your way there. You meet a tattoo artist who picks up on your nervousness and his relaxation methods are interesting, but you like them all the same.
Tumblr media
Never have you been so nervous. Not only were you getting your first tattoo, it is also a very big piece. You saved about two-thousand dollars just in case. Now as for finding tattoo parlors, that was a different story. You don't mean to be a snob, but it is going on your body so you have a right to be picky. When you went searching online for any websites the only one that stood out to you was linked to a Facebook.
It only had eight reviews, but all were five stars. Some reviews went into detail work, cleanliness, as well as customer service. It was called 'The 141 Cowboys Tattoo Shop' when you scrolled through their albums you liked a particular artists style. He was proficient in black and gray realism work, but as you looked through it he did add splashes of color where it was needed. You decided to give them a call to set up an appointment. Fortunately they were doing walk-ins this weekend and told you to come on down.
So here you are standing in front a little hole in the wall trying and willing yourself to go in. You step in and there is a little jingle at the door.
"Be there in a minute!" You hear a deep Scottish accent reverberate from behind a wall.
You stand by the door for a moment before you hear a jogging of footsteps come around the corner.
"Hello Lass what can I do for you?" A man with a Mohawk, tight blue jeans and an Army green shirt that is a bit tight on the chest asks.
"I-I am here for a tattoo? Uh... I called on the phone..."  His face lights up in recognition.
"Ah yeah! Rudy mentioned you would be coming. Come over here and we can start a consultation." He says with a smile as he guides you to a small seating area.
It has a book case with different books. Such as religious symbols and what they mean, a couple comic books, a few books on the history of tattoos and where the different art styles come from, etc. There is a big flat screen TV on an entertainment center with an assortment of movies underneath for you to watch. The seats in question was a long leather couch that looked slightly worn, but in a good away, and in front of it was a small coffee table that was made out of red wood, and when you get closer to it you can actually see there is a bullet lodged inside. You sit down and he rushes to the book case to grab so binders off of the bookcase and set it down in front of you, before sitting next you on the couch.
"So whatcha lookin' ta get? I'm Soap by the way." He says as he holds out his hand.
You shake it with a smile. "I uh... I am wanting a black and gray tattoo? Kind of realistic? Oh! Here I'll pull up what I want."
Soap get's a strained look on his face, but it relaxes once he sees what you pull up. "I'd kind of like a rendition of 'The Hasanlu Lovers?' I am willing to work with you on it. It doesn't have to be exact..." You say as your voice slowly dwindles.
"Sorry Lass, but I am more of a new school artist. I can get someone who could do this justice." He says as he stands up.
"I'll be right back." He walks around the table and into the studio area.
You hear some murmuring before you hear two sets of foot steps come your away. When you look up you see a big hunk of a man. He is tall with broad shoulders. Wearing a black t-shirt that are a bit tight on the arms and chest 'What is it with these men and not wearing the right size shirt?' He was wearing black jeans as well. His arms were veiny his left one has a partial sleeve on his forearm. The most noticeable feature was the mask he was wearing.
"Shit is there a mask mandate? I can go ge-" "No No! It's fine. He wears it just because." Soap says and he gets a scoff from the man beside him.
"This is Ghost he does Black and Gray as well as realism. I think he will be a better fit for you." Soap says before handing you the binder that says "Ghost."
You flip through really quick before smiling. "Yeah I saw these on Facebook! I really like your work!" You say with a smile.
There is a grunt in response as he sits down next to you, but a little farther then you deem necessary. because you want him on top of you You hand over your phone so he can look.
"Anythin' you want to add to it?" He asks you and you draw a blank all you could think of was his eyes. He looked at you like he wanted to eat you alive, but you couldn't tell if that intimidated you, or turned you on... Or both.
"I uh... I'm not really sure..." You mumble shyly.
"I'll draw somethin' up real quick and see what you like." He says and you smile and nod.
He stands up and goes into the studio portion and grabs a tablet, before coming back and sitting down. "Might take me a bit... You're my first customer of the day.... So you might want to go grab something to eat." He says not looking up from  his work.
"Go sign a paper at the front and we'll call you." He says as he gestures to the desk near the entrance of the shop.
You nod before walking up to the desk. Soap happened to be working back there and his face brightens when he notices you.
"Hello! Did you change your mind?" He jokes and you shake your head.
"No Ghost said he will be a bit so he told me to come to the front and sign a paper with my phone number on it!" You say excited.
Soap smiles back at you before pulling out a clip board. "He normally doesn't take clients that fast. He is very picky on who he tattoos."
You looked at him confused before beginning to sign the sheet. There were three sections. one for your name, two for your phone number, and three for the artist you want. You quickly fill out the sheet before setting it on the counter. Soap gives you a nod before going back and filling the snacks that were underneath the counter. You walk out and decide to get something to eat as well as bring back some food for Ghost. You hope he likes what you chose.
It's been about an hour when you get a call.
"Hello?" You answer.
"Hey, just want to say I am finished with the concept art, I forgot to talk to you about where you want to put it." Who you now know as Ghost responds.
"Oh Yeah I'll head right down!" You say.
You hear a grunt in response before the line goes dead. You quickly get the rest of your food as well as his and get it 'to go' then you make your way to the tattoo parlor. As you walk in you notice that there is more people in the shop. Customers getting consultations, Someone working behind the counter, people watching the TV, and finally people getting to work on Tattoos.
You notice Ghost standing in the threshold of the sitting area and the studio. He motions for you to come over.
"Alright I have three sketches." He says as he opens his tablet.
"One is just normal, because you said you weren't sure if you wanted anything. The second is of them in a coffin, and the third is what I assume to me the masculine skeleton putting a rose in the female skeletons "hair" I will add a pop of color in the flower if you don't want a full black and gray piece. I didn't know if you wanted to go morbid with this or not."
You stare at it for a moment and hum to yourself. "They all look so good... I am torn between these two." You say pointing back and forth between the flower and the coffin one.
"I... I don't mean to be pushy or anything, but could I suggest something?" You ask.
"'s your body. You choose what goes on it." He says.
"I was wondering if we could maybe mix these two together? Maybe instead of an actual coffin it could be a uh... A picture frame in the shape of a coffin?" Ghost is silent for a moment.
"Where would you wan' it?" He asks.
"I was going to say my hip, but now I am thinking on the front of my thigh." You say.
"It's a pretty big piece... This your first tattoo?" He asks and you nod your head.
"Pretty bold you are." His voice has a more gravelly undertone as his Manchester accent comes out.
"Well. I will put us in a room instead of the studio... You wore a skirt. Don't need you flashin' all the customers." He says as he leads you to a small room.
It has a tattoo chair, a TV, some speakers and a computer, for what you assume would be for music and finally a printer.
"I'm gonna get drawn' you can stay in here. Need let the boys know that I'm using this room." He says as he walks out.
You hear more murmuring before he enters again. this time with some equipment like inks, a bag with what you can assume is his tattoo gun, and some needles. He sits down at the desk and begins drawing.
"Turn on the TV or browse your phone if ya wan'..." He says.
"Thank you..." You say as you begin to browse on your phone.
About thirty minutes later he gestures for you to come look. "This look good?" He asks.
As you look at it you see a coffin shaped picture frame that was all black. It had a dark gray border on the inside of it. Then there is another cut out where the lovers are laying. There is a mixture of black and many shades of grey all mixed through out this piece. You noticed that there are tears falling down their cheeks as well. Finally the flower which was a beautiful light blue.
"I didn't want a cliche red rose so I went with a Perennial Blue Flax flower. An' don't take my word for it, but I think it would go with the theme because Perennial flowers last longer and come back even after they die... Thought it could go with the "Love lasts beyond death." Which I assume is what you wanted..." He says.
You are in absolute awe. "This... This is absolutely beautiful! This is exactly what I want!" You say and you couldn't tell but his left eye crinkled slightly so you can assume that he was giving a half smile under his mask.
"Alright then. Lets get started." He says as he gestures to the chair. "Stand there so I can put the stencil on you okay?
You nod and walk over to the chair. He begins to wrap the handle of his tattoo gun while the stencil begins to print. He then looks at you.
"I need you to lift your skirt for me." He rasps and you immediately turn red.
You move your skirt up the leg you want to tattoo. He takes the stencil out of the printer and moves next to you. He sits down on a rolley chair and he looks at your thigh. He then takes out a shaving razor.
"Shit sorry! I should have shaved be-" "Doesn't bother me, don't worry 'bout it..." He says before taking a wipe and wiping away any of the loose hairs. He takes care in wiping your thigh a little longer then appropriate, but then again it wasn't like you were enjoying it.
He places the stencil on your thigh before motioning to a mirror. "That look right to you?" He asks and you smile and nod.
"Then lay down for me?" He says his tone seeming more rough then before.
You lay down and lift your  skirt again and make sure to try your best in covering your other leg to at least have some form of protection.
"You ready?" He asks. "I am gonna be putting my hands on you, if you get uncomfortable at any time let me know. It is important that you stay relaxed and not move. You got that?"
You nod with an audible "yes" before he turns on the tattoo gun and gets to work.
You would think you would notice the pain of the needle penetrating your skin first, but in reality you notice the vibration. At least where the vibration was place.
"Gonna start with your inner thigh okay? Have a couple of stretch marks that I want to be gentle with." He says as he rotates your leg to have your knee facing outward.
His arm and hand are placed in between your legs and you feel the vibration of his hand against your mound. You let out a short gasp which causes him to look up but then he continues his work. Luckily he starts working his way down your thigh so you get a moment to compose yourself.  It is about fifteen minutes before he is back at your inner thigh.
"Gotta do some shading now." He says as he ads water to some of the inks to get a variety of gray coloring.
He dips the needles in before he begins to move his hand back and forth. It goes from his knuckles to the handle that is protruding from his grip that rub against your core. You try your best not to jerk but the pain of the needle with his movements are so addicting you can't help but squirm around. The hand that was placed on your outer thigh begins to caress the skin underneath it.
"Gotta stay still for me okay?" He grunts as he continues.
You nod, but bite your lip. Each stroke of the needle causes his hand to move against you in just the right way. You are hoping your underwear aren't soaked through, because you were sure he would be able to feel your wetness if it was. On occasion you would catch him glimpsing at the crease where your leg meets your body. You were hoping he wasn't uncomfortable. You were especially worried about the puddle that will be left after you get up from this chair.
He begins to move his hand up your thigh and to the crease of your leg. He then slides his middle and ring finger underneath the band of your underwear.
"Need to move this a bit 'cause it is in the way." He says.
His pointer finger and thumb begin to slowly massage the crease of your leg which makes you sigh with delight.
"Actually gorgeous I think it might be best if you remove your panties all together." He says, his voice dropping impossibly lower as he removes the tattoo gun from your leg and turning around. "If your comfortable..."
"No it's okay don't worry about it!" You say as you shimmy your underwear down. You his in pain when you accidentally rub the cloth against your raw leg.
You flip your skirt down half way and use your hand to cup your core over your skirt so you wouldn't accidentally flash him after putting your underwear behind your back since your purse is on the other side of the room. "You can turn around now." You says. You are trying your best to sound confident in yourself.
He turns back around and rolls back over to where he was previously. He places his left hand on your outer thigh and begins to work again. The vibrations seem to be more intense now that your hand is there. You bite your lip in an attempt to quiet you whimpers of pleasure.
"Come on love... You need to relax..." He says as he begins to massage your thigh in an effort to relax you. But unfortunately that does the complete opposite.
"Need ya to spread your legs for me..." He says.
You can't tell if you were imagining it or if he said it in a suggestive way, but his left had creeps down your thigh and to the crease of your knee.
"What can I do to relax you? You were being such a good girl before you started squirming around..." He says.
The look in his eyes were lustful. Like he was taking you apart and putting you back together in his mind.
"You can't help..." You mumble.
"Is it something to do with the mess you made on my chair?" He asks with what you assume to be a smirk.
You cover your face which makes him chuckle. You hear the machine turn off and the sound of him setting the gun down on the table before his left hand returns to the inside of your knee.
"C'mon baby... Spread 'em for me." He says as he guides your legs open.
Now that your hand isn't on your skirt to hold it down your cunt was on full display. You shiver at the cool air hitting it. He uses his right hand to flip the skirt all the way up.
"She's just drippin' isn't she?" He asks and you squeak in embarrassment.
"Gotta be quiet gorgeous, that's how relaxing works. Bein' nice and quiet..." He says as he scoots forward in his chair, propping your leg against his shoulder.
He moves your hands from your face only to put them over your eyes.
"Keep 'em closed..." He says as he slides his face mask down and kisses the inside of your knee.
"You don't need to see to relax..." He murmurs against your skin.
"Tell me what to you like more?" He grunts as he kisses up your thigh.
"The pain..." He says as he grips the outside of your thigh just bellow the tattoo. He uses his hand to stretch the skin slightly to put the emphases of what he means by pain. "Or the vibrations against your pussy?" He asks as he is about midway up your thigh.
You try your best to keep your eyes shut, but you refuse to open your mouth in fear that you wouldn't have control of what comes out. You feel his teeth sink into your inner thigh and you yelp.
"Gonna need you to answer me gorgeous..." He whispers and you whine.
"Both... I like both!" "Gotta be quieter then that... Don't need anybody else to hear." He says as he continues to kiss up your thigh.
You want to look down and see his face, but you were worried that if you did he would stop. He finally get the the crease of your leg next to your mound, but instead of going to where you need him most he moves up your V-line and bites down there. You let out a soft moan.
"So if I were to turn my machine back on... And press the handle of my tattoo gun against your pretty cunt... 'nd maybe nibble on you a bit... You'd like that?" He asks as his mouth travels back down to the crease of your leg.
You nod your head with a small "Mhm!"
He leans over and kisses your clit. "Now that wouldn't be sanitary... So you are going to have to deal with my fingers..." He says and before giving your clit an open mouth kiss.
It is as if the moment he tasted you he wanted more, because he immediately stood up from his chair and buried his face in your pussy. You muffled your moan by biting down on your palm as he put your leg over his shoulder. He pulls back for a moment and begins to nibble on your outer labia. No man has ever done that before, but now you are pretty sure you have a biting kink. He nibbles downwards before nestling himself in your cunt. His tongue probes your slit as he moves his head back and forth. The feeling of his nose against your clit makes you jump.
"Taste so good..." He murmurs into you before he massages his tongue into your slit. You feel your walls clamp down on his tongue.
He continues to shake his head back and forth slowly, his nose brushing your clit almost perfectly.
"Faster... P-Please!" You try your best to keep your voice down by putting pauses in between words.
He seems to follow your instructions as his head moves faster. The sounds that he was making into your pussy was almost enough to make you cum on the spot.
You remove one of your hands and lace it into his hair. It was soft and short, almost perfect grabbing length. "Keep your eyes closed." You hear him say.
You follow his order and begin to arch your hips up and grind against his face. You groan in frustration when he uses his right arm to pin your hips to the now very wet chair. So you take to clamping your thighs around his head instead. You hear him hum in delight.
He takes his left hand and pries your leg from his head and moves his hand in between your legs. He pulls away from your core. A small pop coming from your slit as he removes his tongue. He inhales quickly before latching his mouth onto your clit.
"Oh god!" You say as you feel the small gentle flicks of his tongue against your nub.
You feel him slip a finger into you only to add another a second later. He starts off by spreading his fingers in a scissoring motion before actually moving them. He times the flicks of his tongue with the thrusts of his fingers. You hear your pants getting louder and louder, Your eyes hurt from how hard your are closing them, and you are so close to your release.
"Please, please, please, please! Ghost please!" You cry before smacking a hand over your mouth.
Your chest is heaving and your shirt that you were today is clinging against your body due to sweat. The room smells of sex. All you want to do is look down and see what he looks like between your legs, but again you know he will stop if you do. As this is going through your head he curls his fingers upwards and your yelp again.
"There it is..." He grunts before clamping down on your clit again.
He thrusts his fingers One. Two. Three times before you come apart. Your core tightens around his fingers ad your entire body tenses up. The curling of your toes are painful. You taste blood in your mouth from biting your lip so hard. You hear him release your clit with a pop.
"That's a good girl... Come on... Let it all out." He says as he helps you through your release.
You let out a small sob as your body begins to relax. You hear the sound of a water bottle opening and the sound of a paper towel being torn before you feel a cold rag against your cunt You shiver and try to keep your eyes closed to the best of your ability. You hear silence for a few more minutes before he speaks.
"You can open your eyes now." You open your eyes to see a now disheveled haired and masked Ghost.
"Can you stand up for me pretty girl?" He asks and you nod slowly.
He helps you stand up before he kneels on the ground and wipes your tattooed thigh. "I'm gonna need you to come in for a second session... You alright with that?" He asks softly.
Now that you think of it you look down to see only the shading of the coffin is done and inside the line work of the skeletons are empty.
"Y-Yeah that's good... Uh what do I owe you for this session?" You ask out of breath.
He wraps your leg and stands up. "$400." He says as moved to the other side of the chair and begins wiping it down.
"Only $400? T-This is a 1.5K tattoo at least!" You exclaim, but it only comes out as a small wheeze.
"Deal with it. The total for this session is $400... The next might be worth more due to the small details." He grunts.
He walks over to some cabinet and gets out some disinfectant before spraying and wiping it down a second time. You stand there for a moment dumbfounded.
"Come on..." He says as he tosses the used paper towels away and opens the door to the room.
When you walk out you can hear the sound of loud bagpipes echoing across the studio. Ghost leads you to the counter where he puts in the total of $400 into the register. You pull out that and an extra $50 but he immediately pushes that back toward you.
"No tip..." He says before glancing down to your skirt and back up again.
You feel your face flush. He reaches over the counter to a card holder and he grabs a card that has a skull and his name plastered in graffiti letters.
"My number's on here. Call me when your free." He grunts.
"For the tattoo?" You ask as you take the card.
"Or somethin' else if you're interested." He says before shutting the register and reaching under the counter and grabbing you a water bottle.
"Drive safe Gorgeous." he says as he walks away and back into the room.
You quickly take your card and your water bottle and thankfully you grabbed your purse and dash out of the shop. You get your keys out and get in your car before taking off down the road. You then realize once you are halfway home that you left your underwear at the shop...

Tonight was the night. You were going out with Bucky Barnes. Excited for the date was a bit of an understatement. You may have told a few customers you had a date when they wished you a good day.
Thank God they were mostly regulars and seemed happy on my behalf.
"Maybe a sundress isn't nice enough," you told Tess, regretting the words the moment they left your mouth. She didn’t need to deal with you and your overthinking. Again.
"It's plenty nice. You’re going to look amazing,” she argued, going to check on the next batch of cookies. “And he can lift the skirt and bury his-"
"I thought you said I didn't have to get laid on my first date with him," you cut her off.
"You don't have to, but the visual alone will give him something for his spank bank later."
"Thank you for the vote of confidence," you smiled, but it quickly faltered.
You weren’t sure why a cloud drifted over your sunny disposition. Bucky was a good guy, a far cry from Richard. Gorgeous, kind, hardworking, the whole package. There was chemistry between the two of you that went beyond mere attraction. Maybe it was the fact that you were falling hard and fast for him that suddenly made you so nervous. You didn’t want to scare him away.
But he said he couldn’t stop thinking about me and he wouldn’t say that if he didn’t mean it.
Tess gave you a pointed look. “Stop overthinking. I’m begging you.”
“I’m not trying to,” you sighed, your nerves almost tempting you to grab a treat from the case. “What if I fall on my face?”
“Like Bucky would let you hit the ground. Even if you do stumble, that’s life. It isn’t going to change the fact that he likes you,” she said as you helped her with the cookies. You still had work to do. “The guy said he can’t get you off his mind and to text him whenever you want. He does not strike me as the type to just say those things and I know he doesn’t strike you as that type either.”
It took a moment, but your smile came back. She was right. Life wasn’t perfect and you were far from it, but Bucky liked you just as you are. Tonight would be unforgettable no matter what.
“I appreciate the pep talk,” you said, thankful that she told you what you needed to hear. “I’ll even tell you the dirty details if anything happens.”
“Hell yeah, you will. Remember, at this point, I’m living vicariously through you until I find my own hunk,” she winked. “But I mean it. Have fun tonight and get your man.”
I will.

After your shift, you rushed to change for your date. You somehow managed to arrive a few minutes early outside of Bucky's shop and took a deep breath to get yourself under control. Catching your reflection in the window, you smiled before you turned away. Since Bucky hadn’t given you any hint for what you were doing, you chose your nicest sundress and kept your makeup minimal. You looked and felt beautiful, though you wished you would’ve brought a jacket with you.
Maybe Bucky will let me borrow his if he has one.
“Holy shit.”
You spun around when you heard Bucky’s voice behind you, your heart fluttering as he met you on the sidewalk. Instead of the jeans you usually saw him in, he wore khakis, a button up shirt, and a blue blazer that matched his eyes. He had his hair down, perfectly parted on the right side. You were so busy staring at the broad, handsome man that it took you a moment to realize he was trying to hand you something.
Flowers.
“Sorry. You just… wow,” he said as you took the small bouquet, sweeping his gaze over you as your cheeks grew warm. “You look so beautiful.”
You giggled and quickly covered your mouth with your hand, butterflies in your stomach when he gently smiled. “Don’t apologize,” you smiled back, taking a moment to smell the flowers. “You look pretty ‘holy shit’ yourself.”
His nose scrunched as he laughed and offered you his hand. “So, you’re telling me I clean up well. Steve insisted on the blazer when I said I wanted to bring my leather jacket.”
“That’s exactly what I’m saying. Though I wouldn’t have minded the leather jacket,” you said. He would’ve looked gorgeous, as always. “And thank you for suggesting we meet here. We had a last minute order and I was scrambling."
"It's no problem. One of my clients was running a few minutes late and I almost had to take you out in jeans."
"I wouldn't have minded," you said. You both worked hard and understood that things would come up from time to time. "So, where are we headed?"
He cleared his throat as he led you to his car. “Well, do you want the good news or the bad news?”
Your stomach dropped a little. “Mmm. Bad news first,” you said after a moment. “Always better to end on a high note.”
“Bad news was I had planned to take you out on my motorcycle so we could have a picnic in the park. There was going to be live music and I would’ve asked you to dance,” he explained, looking up at the sky. “But…”
“The weather called for a storm tonight, didn’t it?” you mused, a wistful smile on your face when he nodded. The image of being in his arms under the stars as music drifted through the air made your heart skip a beat. It sounded like the perfect evening.
“Yeah. The band is rescheduling,” he said, tucking his hair behind his ear as he looked at the ground. “Then I thought I could take you to this art gallery nearby. They normally have these stunning paintings of landscapes and various statues, but the current exhibit is on human sexuality and reproduction. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but maybe it was too much for a first date.”
“Oh, come on. It couldn’t have been that bad,” you argued as he stopped and took out his phone.
“No?” he asked, tapping his screen before he showed you what you assumed was the page for the gallery.
“…That’s a giant dick,” you said before you could stop yourself, tilting your head as you stared at the phone. “And does that say BALLS?”
An older woman crossing in the opposite direction gave you an amused stare before you and Bucky burst into a fit of laughter. You had to hold on his arm to keep from collapsing on the ground. It was the funniest thing you had seen since you could remember and to think you almost saw it in person.
This date is off to a great start.
“Maybe I wanted to see a giant dick and balls,” you said once you caught your breath, pointing at him when he opened his mouth. “And don’t say ‘all I have to do is pull down my pants’ or something like that.”
But I know he has a big dick. I know.
He smirked as he started walking again. “Only if you ask me nicely, Sugar.”
He’s going to kill my ovaries.
“I’ll ask you very nicely, Hottie,” you teased, wondering exactly where you were going then. “If that was the bad news, what’s the good news?”
“I managed to get us a reservation at one of the nicest restaurants in town,” he said, standing a bit taller.
He’s trying to impress me.
“That's really nice. And I’m sure dinner will be amazing,” you assured him, hoping he didn’t beat himself up over having to change his plans. It wasn’t his fault it was going to rain. He could’ve taken you to a fast food place and it would’ve been fine because you were with him.
“Speaking of, I better get us there so we aren’t late,” he said, opening the door for you to get in. “Maybe if you agree to a second date, I can take you out on my bike and have that picnic.”
“I’d love that,” you smiled, carefully putting the flowers in your lap and trying not to appear too eager that he was already thinking of a second date. You glanced around the car when he got in and drove off, noticing it was cleaner than when he took you home days prior.
Did he clean it for me?
You grinned as he hummed along to the radio, watching as he drummed his fingers along the steering wheel. “You could’ve made it as a musician if you weren’t a tattoo artist.”
“Now you’re just flattering me, Sugar,” he said. “Believe it or not, if I wasn’t a tattoo artist, I would’ve liked to be a science teacher. I loved science and everything space related growing up.”
“Really?” you asked. He would’ve been a wonderful teacher, no matter what age group he taught. “Okay. That’s another date night.”
“What? Playing teacher?” he joked, taking his eyes off the road for a second to wink at you.
“No,” you giggled, carefully shoving his arm since he was driving. “We’re going to a science museum. That's our third date. I’m going to watch you happily geek out over everything.”
“Yeah?” he asked, glancing at you after he parked the car. “You’d do that?”
“Yeah, I would. I think it would be a blast.”
I just want to spend time with you.
A soft expression took over his features when he took your hand and brought it to his mouth. His lips lightly brushed your skin, heat pooling in your gut as he made eye contact with you. The look alone made you want to skip dinner and go right to dessert. Why not throw caution to the wind?
“I’ll make it worth your while,” he promised before he got out.
You exhaled slowly and mentally told your libido to calm down. At the very least, you had to get through dinner. He went through the trouble of getting a reservation at a nice place and you weren’t about to take that away from him.
“Oh, wow. I haven’t been here before,” you said once you got a look at the name. Richard used to brag about the place, but never actually took you. From what you remember, he said the food was supposed to be expensive. You didn’t want Bucky to splurge on you.
“I haven’t either,” Bucky admitted. A fancy place didn’t seem like his style. “But it looked romantic.”
You bit your lip as he opened the door, the flickering candlelight in the entryway alone providing an intimate ambience. The date may not have been what he planned, but he clearly did his research and put thought into doing something nice for you. When was the last time someone tried to do something nice for you? When did anyone go out of their way to make you feel special?
“Hello,” Bucky said as the hostess greeted you. “Reservation for two under James.”
James?
The hostess scanned her screen before she looked up. “I’m sorry. That name isn’t coming up.”
Bucky’s cheeks turned pink when you glanced at him. “It should be under James, miss. James Barnes. Reservation for two for 7pm. I spoke with Charles. He confirmed it.”
You moved closer to Bucky when the hostess searched through her screen again. As calm as he sounded, you sensed he was anything but inside. You hoped he wasn’t embarrassed. Maybe she skipped over his name. A simple mistake.
“Charles did make a reservation for you, but he entered it for 7pm next Friday,” she said as she looked between the two of you. “We’re fully booked tonight. I'm sorry, James.”
Oh, no.
There was a tick in Bucky’s jaw before he shook his head and you wanted nothing more than to hug him. “No, that’s… It’s for tonight.”
“I’m so sorry. I can see if we can squeeze a table in for you, but it’ll be at least an hour,” she said, shifting uncomfortably on her feet. She probably expected one or both of you to make a scene. "I can get my manager?"
Bucky swallowed when he looked at you, his cheeks still pink. The candlelight danced in his eyes, but all you saw was sadness. No. You wouldn't allow that. This was your first date and it was going to be amazing.
You put a hand on his arm, his muscles relaxing under your touch. "It's okay. I know this amazing place that’s right around the corner."
"Are you sure?" he asked, the hostess visibly relaxing when you nodded.
"You have a good evening," you said to the hostess and tugged Bucky back toward the door. "I'm sure. Trust me. We may even beat the rain if we walk now."
“Okay,” he said, avoiding your gaze as you left. “Fuck. This is the worst first date, isn’t it?”
Your heart broke for him. All he wanted was to give you a nice evening and everything he tried fell through. “Not even close. And you have nothing to apologize for. Charles messed up the reservation, Hottie, not you.”
“Yeah, he did,” he said, his lip tugging like he wanted to smile. “I just really wanted tonight to be special and since I couldn’t give you the date I planned, I wanted to at least give you something nice. I couldn't even do that.”
Hearing that made you stop, even when you felt the first raindrop. "Tonight is special because you're spending time with me. That's all I wanted," you promised, squeezing his hand for good measure.
"That's really all?" he asked as he squeezed your hand in return.
"Well, not completely," you teased as another raindrop landed on your shoulder. "Maybe a kiss at the end of our date."
A wide smile formed on his face as he leaned in, not quite kissing you. "Whatever you want, Sugar."
As romantic as it was to stand on the sidewalk with him, the rain began to come down harder and had you rushing with him around the corner. “If you're still disappointed, you’ll feel much better when we eat. Antonia’s has the best food,” you said, holding out your hand in a grand gesture as you arrived. “Tada!”
Antonia's was a bit of a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Not extraordinary on the outside, but lively and bright on the inside. The food and service were top notch. It was one of your favorite places.
“Wait, Antonia's?” he asked, a twinkle in his eyes. “This is where you’re taking me?”
“Yeah,” you replied, suddenly nervous as you faced him. Did he not like it? “Is this okay?”
“This is one of my new favorite restaurants,” he said.
No way.
"Seriously?"
"Seriously. I designed one of Antonia's tattoos. And I decided to check out the place."
He's full of surprises.
"Then you know you're in for a treat," you winked.
The hearty aroma of the restaurant filled the air as you went inside and wiped some of the rain off your dress. Antonia was speaking with the hostess as you went up to the stand. The owner was involved in virtually every part of her restaurant.
"Welcome to…" Antonia began as she looked at you, then at Bucky, then back at you. "Oh! You two… it's a date!"
Antonia looks so happy.
"Hi. And yes. We're on a date," you giggled when Bucky sheepishly smiled. It was sweet. "You wouldn't happen to have a table for two available, would you?"
Antonia put her hand over her heart and flagged down a waiter with the other. "Lover's special for these two. Go."
You exchanged a look with Bucky, who appeared just as confused as you were. "Lover's special?"
"Yes, yes. Come with me," she said, patting Bucky's cheek before she took you through the restaurant. You expected her to seat you at one of the few empty tables, but she passed them to take you to a door in the back. "Tonight is special and that means a special dinner."
Your eyes widened at the sight before you once she opened the door. There was a lone table in the middle of the room, flowers similar to the bouquet Bucky gave you sat in the center. Unlike the bright main room, the dimmed lights gave the room a romantic glow.
Perfect.
"Peter will serve you. And if you need anything, just ask, okay?" Antonia asked, putting her hand over her heart again. Were there tears in her eyes? "Two of my favorite customers. Together! Enjoy!"
You had to pause and swallow the lump in your throat once she left you alone. A restaurant owner showed more enthusiasm for your date than your mom did for anything that involved you. She likely never would.
"You okay?" Bucky asked, pulling out your chair.
"I'm fine," you replied, refusing to let the thought of your mom damper the evening. "A little chilly. I should've brought a sweater with me."
Bucky removed his blazer and put it around you, tenderness in his blue eyes as he rubbed your arms. "I can't wait to see you in my leather jacket," he said, helping you take your seat before he took his.
Oh, he's going to give me his jacket? Am I going to only wear his jacket? Fuck.
"Thank you," you said, inhaling as he rolled up one of his sleeves beneath the elbow and then the other. You reached across the table to lightly trace one of the tattoos on his right arm. "It was nice of Antonia to put us back here."
"Then why did you look so sad when she left?"
He caught that?
"She just looked so happy to see us together and I didn't expect that. It's nice that someone is rooting for us," you said, tracing your finger along his wrist before you stopped. "I'm sorry. I should've asked before I started touching."
"Don't apologize. I like your touch," he said in a low voice.
You lifted your gaze, seeing fire in his eyes that had nothing to do with the dim lighting. When he turned his hand over to hold yours, you made no move to pull away. You wished you could put your hands all over him.
"Hi! I'm Peter!" The waiter greeted as he brought water to the table. Bucky didn't let go of your hand. "I'll be taking care of you tonight."
"Only one taking care of my girl tonight is me," Bucky said. As much as you loved hearing that, you were glad he gave poor Peter a tiny smile so he could relax. "I'm kidding. It's good to see you, Peter."
"Y-You, too, Mr. Barnes. And you, Miss. You have the best cupcakes in town."
"Thanks," you smiled, quickly putting in your order before you gazed at Bucky. "So, James. Tell me more about you. How long have you been friends with Steve?"
"James is my first name. Everyone calls me Bucky," he chuckled before he shook his head. "And that punk."
You smiled softly as you listened to Bucky, not at all surprised by how easily the conversation went. Steve was his best friend since childhood and they served together before they went into business together. It was evident that he took pride in his shop and respected everyone who worked there. He carried the same affection in his tone when he spoke about his sister, Rebecca. He liked to frequent art galleries with Steve, but also enjoyed riding his bike, reading, and everything science in his spare time.
I could listen to him talk for hours.
"You know, you haven't said much about yourself," he pointed out as he set his napkin on his empty plate.
"I haven't?" You asked.
"No, you haven't and I don't want to monopolize the conversation," he said, leaning forward to give you his full attention. "I want to know more about you."
You tightened the blazer around you, unsure of what to say. "My life isn't exactly exciting," you said, wishing you could think of something clever or fun to discuss.
"Doesn't have to be exciting. I just want to know you," he said before Peter showed back up.
"Would you like to look at the desert menu?" he asked as he took your plates away.
"I think you can bring the check. We're going to skip dessert," you answered, giving Bucky an assuring smile when he frowned. "Let's go to my shop instead."
If Bucky wanted to really know you, you had to tell him more of your story. Your bakery was the only place to do it. And it would be the perfect way to end the evening.
Tumblr media
After you left the restaurant, with Antonia asking you to come back again, Bucky drove as safely as he could to the bakery. The rain didn't let up at all. You shrieked as you struggled to get the keys out of your purse, Bucky's blazer now soaked the longer you stood there. "Why didn't I get these out when I was still in your car?!" You shouted over the downpour.
"Why didn't I bring an umbrella?!" He yelled back, putting his hands over your head as if they would protect you.
The two of you practically fell through the door once you unlocked it and shut off the alarm. "We made it," you laughed, careful not to slip on the floor. He had his arm around you just in case. Tess was right, He wouldn't let you fall. "I'll get us some towels and you have your pick of any dessert I have in the fridge."
"You have any cupcakes?" He asked.
Your breath caught in your throat when you stepped back and caught the outline of multiple tattoos through his soaked shirt. "Yeah."
"See something you like?" he smirked, running a hand through his wet hair.
Fuck me.
"I do," you said, glancing down at yourself. "But I'm freezing and I owe you dessert."
Tess might also have words if I let Bucky ravage me by the front door.
You took Bucky to the kitchen and grabbed a few towels. It wouldn't dry you off completely, but it would help. You also put on some soft music. Not to set the mood necessarily, but just in case.
"So, this is where the magic happens," Bucky said, running the towel along his exposed skin.
"It is," you said, placing your hand on the counter. "You said you wanted to know me. It starts here."
"In the kitchen?"
"In the kitchen," you repeated, going to the fridge to take a container of cupcakes out. "I used to visit my grandparents every weekend when I was growing up. My dad wasn't around and my mom said it was for family quality time, but she never stuck around. The reality was that I cramped her style and she passed me off to them because she knew they wouldn't say no."
Bucky's jaw clenched as you let him take a cupcake. "I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault," you said, gripping the lid tightly before you closed the container. "I remember crying because I wanted to take dance classes and try and make friends. My mom said I would be a terrible dancer and that it would be a waste of time and money. A great thing for a kid to hear, right?"
"Jesus," he whispered.
It wasn't exactly the happiest conversation to have, but you wanted to show Bucky a part of you that you didn't show to most people. "My grandma wiped my tears away and brought me into her kitchen. Said she had the perfect cure for the blues. Baking. And that's what we did every weekend until I got old enough to look after myself."
"Your grandma sounds amazing," he said, carefully examining the cupcake in his hand. "And baking became your passion."
"It did. She taught me to pour love into every creation I make. And that's what Tess and I do for others. If someone is having a bad day, at least they can have a treat and feel a little better," you said, pride in your eyes as you looked around. "My grandma supported my dream, but my mom almost disowned me for wanting to run this place. It isn't good enough in her eyes."
I'm not good enough.
Bucky's nostrils flared as he set the dessert down. "Your business isn't good enough for her? What the hell? It's flourishing. I can barely find a lull to come in to get some undivided attention. And your customers love you. She should be proud of you."
His defense of you was heartwarming. "Doesn't matter how successful my business is. She wanted me to marry rich, probably so she could get money from me, but I didn't. She berated me when I broke up with Richard. No matter what I do, I'm never going to be good enough in her eyes," you told him, patting the counter with your hand. "But this makes me happy and that's enough."
"That's why you were sad that Antonia was so happy about our date, wasn't it? Because your mom either doesn't or wouldn't support it," he guessed, reaching for you and pulling you into his arms. "She'll probably hate me. I'm not rich. Covered in tattoos."
"I don't care what she thinks of you. I don't need a rich guy or fancy dates. I just want someone who can provide companionship and support. Someone who respects and cares for me," you said, wrapping your arms around him. "A good, hard-working guy like you deserves the same."
It was too soon to voice it, but Bucky was the kind of man you needed in your life. Someone you could share parts of yourself with and know he wouldn't judge. A man who made your heart race beyond lust.
A partnership.
He stared deeply into your eyes and you had no idea what was going through his head, but his gaze told you so much. How could a pair of eyes be so expressive? "You're perfect, Sugar, and more than enough. You hear me?"
Tears welled up in your eyes before you blinked them away. He sounded sincere and unashamed at his declaration. You hadn't done anything to deserve such praise. "No, I'm not," you whispered.
"You are to me. You took a chance and asked me out. Soothed me when tonight didn't go the way I thought it would," he said, gripping your chin to recapture your gaze. "And you trusted me enough to share something vulnerable with me when you didn't have to. It means everything."
"I feel like I can open up to you," you said as the two of you slowly swayed to the beat. You couldn't remember why you were nervous about your date to begin with.
"And I'll take care of you. I mean it."
I hope he knows I'll take care of him, too.
"You know," you began with a soft smile. "Our first kiss was in your shop."
"It was," he smiled.
"So I think it's only fair that we have our second kiss in my shop," you said.
"You did say you wanted a kiss to end our date," he said, bringing a hand to the back of your neck, but giving you a chance to stop him.
You didn't.
Even though you expected it, you still gasped when he molded his mouth against yours. Your heart pounded furiously in your chest, making you both eager and pliant as he licked his way across your lips. When he brushed his tongue against yours and took possession of your mouth, you mewled. Desire nearly blinded you from the taste of him.
I want more.
"I don't want our date to end," you breathed, clutching his arms to steady yourself.
"It doesn't have to," he said, resting a hand on your hip. His eyes were dark and full of want. To have him look at you that way, how could you possibly end the evening with one kiss? Why deny yourself what you both wanted?
"No, it doesn't," you agreed with a coy smile. "So. My place or yours?"

↳Notes: The first installment of my soulmate smut au series!  Enjoy.
“THANKS, MAN, I really like it!  You do great work!”  The man thanked Jeongin with a strong handshake that made the glossy new motorcycle tattoo on his bicep flex.
“Anytime.”  Jeongin flashed him a smile that dented one of the dimples in his cheeks.
“Let me know when your books open again, okay?  I already have ideas for my next one!”  The man handed Jeongin a wad of cash.  He quickly counted it out and thanked the man for the generous tip before sending him on his way.
Once the man left the small shop, Jeongin sat down hard on his stool and let out a colossal yawn.  The time on the clock indicated that it was well past closing time but he had to finish up the piece he was working on.  Now all he had to do was clean up his space and disinfect his tools and he could go home and pass out.  As the only person in his small studio, he could set his own hours but he still had to do enough pieces a week to keep the lights on.
It also meant that he didn’t have time to finish the sleeve on his arm that he was working on.  When he wore an athletic tank top like he was today, you could see swirling patterns of ink starting at his shoulder and down to his elbow.  He had a few tattoos on his other hand and forearm but not one single sleeve.  It was only a matter of time but he barely had any to speak of.
Speaking of time, he had to get cleaned up.
Jeongin rose to his aching feet and started to disinfect the chair where his clients sat.  He wiped it down thoroughly and made sure to get a few dried droplets of ink and blood off the seat.  Tattooing was messy work, to say the least.
Next he gathered all of his tools and threw them into a warm bath of disinfectant.  While those soaked, he figured he should mop so he wouldn’t have to suffer doing it last.  He made his way to the back to prepare the mop water when he heard the bell over the door jingle.  He cringed, realizing that he had forgotten the most important thing about closing the tattoo parlor.  He’d forgotten to actually flip the sign and lock the door.
Damn.
Jeongin turned around and headed back into the main shop.  He ran his hands through his mussed hair and sighed.  He didn’t want to deal with asking whoever it was to leave but he had to sleep sometimes.
“I’m sorry, but I’m actually closed up for the day and-” Jeongin started to explain but he stopped dead in his tracks when he laid his eyes on you.
You stood in the entryway to the shop with your wide eyes taking in the art examples hung all over the shop walls.  You gripped the strap of your small bag so tightly that your knuckles were about to turn white.  You were wearing the world's cutest little white pleated skirt that hugged your curves and your thighs and that stopped mid-thigh, a blush pink blouse, and a cream and pink patterned button-up sweater that brought the whole look together.  A soft blush adorned your cheeks.
The skirt hugged your thighs beautifully, accentuating your legs and making them look long.  The blouse cupped your full breasts tenderly and let just a bit poke out through the top.  They heaved when you drew breath and his eyes flicked down to them without even thinking about it.  Your arms hugged your body a little bit, perhaps for warmth or maybe just to calm your trembling nerves.  This action helped push your breasts up a little more.  Your makeup was lightly done with soft pinks and creams while your lip tint was a stunning cherry red.
Jeongin just about broke.
How did someone as sweet as you end up in a place like this?
“How can I help you?”  Jeongin asked instead.  He could stay open a little longer.
“Oh, um… I’m sorry, if you’re closed then I’ll just-”  You made a move as if you were going to leave, but Jeongin couldn’t let you.  Not yet.
“No, I’m not closed yet!  Is there something I can do for you?”  Jeongin smiled warmly at you, which he hoped would entice you to stay.  He had so many questions.
“I… well…”
You eyed him up and down, your mouth watering slightly at the sight of him in tight black skinny jeans and a workout top that left relatively little to the imagination.  His black hair was in a fluffy black mop that covered his eyes a little, but it was parted just enough to show off his eyebrow piercing.
“I want a tattoo.”  Your voice came out stronger than you expected it to.
“A tattoo?  Of what?”  Jeongin’s gaze raked down your body, wondering just what you wanted to put where on your pristine, untouched skin.  He could already imagine all of the artwork he wanted to put onto your body.
He inched his way closer to you, akin to the way a tiger stalks its prey.  His slender fox-like eyes raked over you and you let out a small gasp as if he was actually touching you.  Rather than shrinking back, like most prey would, you shifted half a step closer.
You had no idea why you were drawn to his shop in the first place.  You had other options lined up in case this one didn’t work out, but his style called to you somehow.  When you first laid eyes on him, it was like it made sense for his art to belong to him.  You couldn’t explain why you wanted to be close to him, but your body ached for him to be near.
“Oh, um…”  you fumbled in your bag for your phone to present him with the picture.  You’d worked hard to pick something out that would be simple and beautiful, even though it was a stark contrast from the artwork on the walls.
To say the least, you had no idea why someone would want to tattoo a naked woman on themselves but she certainly was artfully done.
“I was hoping for something simple like…”  You pulled up the picture and tilted the screen so he could see it.  Jeongin tore his eyes away from your face to your phone screen, which displayed a simple flower design that included some simple geometric shapes all interwoven through a crescent moon.  “The, um, the flower is a violet.  It’s my mother’s birth flower, so…”
You stumbled over your words a little and cursed yourself silently for getting so flustered.  Your ears burned and you wondered if it was hot in here or if it was just him.
Jeongin smirked as he took in your form and he couldn’t help himself.  To hell with the hours.  The design was simple enough and shouldn’t take long anyway.  Besides, he had to figure out why a young and innocent girl would come to a place like this.
“Looks great.  What’s your budget?”  Jeongin should have cared, but he didn’t.
“Oh, um… I want to stay under two-hundred, if that’s okay.”
“I can do it for a flat hundred.  Sound good?”  He grinned and tilted his head at you, reminding you of a young puppy or an eager schoolboy.  The muscles in his shoulders and arms were an obvious reminder that he was neither.
“Um, yeah.  Perfect.  We can schedule a time or-”
“Wanna get started now?  I gotta finish cleaning my equipment but we can do it now if you want.”
“Now?”  You gaped at him, “Like… right this second?”
“Don’t you want it?  I mean, my schedule is pretty full at the moment and I don’t think I’ll have an opening for another month or two unless there’s a cancellation.  I have time right now, so do you wanna go for it?”
“Oh, um, if you’re busy then don’t worry about it!  I can come back another time or ask through the proper channels or-”
“Nonsense.  If you’ve thought about it long enough and you’re sure then let’s go for it, yeah?”
“How long do you think it’ll take?”
Jeongin nodded towards your phone again, signaling for you to show him the image once more.  He hummed thoughtfully for a few minutes as he thought about how he could possibly draw out the visit.
Jeongin didn’t have a soulmate yet, but he figured to hell with it.  Surely that was something made up by the media to get them to sell romcoms.  Sure, he wondered if the draw he had to you was due to that but he’d been drawn to other people before without the carnal urge to fuck them into the next century.
Maybe he was just curious.  He wondered if the small bit of cleavage that peeked out of your top was on purpose to entice him or just a happy accident.  Either way, he loved it.
“Forty-five minutes tops.  An hour if you want me to be particular about the shading.”  Jeongin shrugged.
“Oh… okay, let’s do it!”  You nodded confidently and the small amount of innocent enthusiasm you displayed went straight to his dick.
“Great.  Why don’t you email that image to me so I can make a trace of it and fill out my liability agreement while I finish cleaning the equipment.”  Jeongin made his way over to the desk near the front to grab his drawing tablet and an extra one for you.
“Okay!”
You obediently followed his instructions and emailed the picture to the address he gave you.  He prepped the small tablet with the paperwork and set it on the counter for you.  He didn’t dare touch you yet.  The suspense would kill him at this rate.
“Have a seat in the chair and I’ll be ready with the stencil in about fifteen minutes, okay?”  Jeongin gestured for you to sit in the navy leather chair to wait for him.
You followed his suggestion and got settled.  Jeongin stared down at the email from you on his tablet, taking particular interest in the signature at the bottom.  It was clearly automatic but it gave your name and your contact information, including your cell phone number.  He made a mental note to ask for it later.  He didn’t wanna use it without your permission, but he also wanted to ask you out properly so he’d have to ask you for it.
He couldn’t be the only one feeling the attraction, right?
As he worked on cleaning off his equipment, he couldn’t help but think back to your precious pink cheeks and your perfect thighs which he was about to mark as his own.  Something about the idea of him leaving something on your skin forever made his jeans grow a little tighter.  Sure, he wanted to leave so many hickies and bite marks that you couldn’t wear shorts for a month, but those would fade with time.  The ink that he was about to put on your skin would be there forever.  Even if you didn’t end up being his soulmate, you’d always have something of his to remember him by.
Once his tools were clean, Jeongin got to work on drawing your tattoo.  He doodled on his tablet to make sure that the lines were clean and that he had some room for error if need be.  He was good at his job and he hadn’t made a mistake in many years, but it was still important to have a failsafe.  Also, he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to concentrate when he finally got to be close to your thighs.
For a moment, he considered handing you off to another tattoo shop.  Maybe his attraction to you would cloud his judgment.  However, when you set the tablet down and settled back in the chair, he knew it was way too late.
“Alright, one more decision to make,”  Jeongin made his way back over to you and plopped down on a nearby rolling stool.  He moved a little closer, but not close enough to where your knees would brush.
“What’s that?”
“How big do you want it?  The smallest I could do would be about…”  he lifted his hands to demonstrate, “this but I can go as big as you want.”
“Oh, um,”  you glanced down at your thigh and he followed your gaze.  He licked his lips at the sight of your legs on full display for him.  All he wanted was to be squeezed between them as he rode you through your umteenth orgasm of the night.  Something about that damn skirt drove him crazy.  “About the size you have there is okay.”
“Perfect, I’ll print out the stencil and we’ll be good to go!”
Jeongin stood up and made a beeline for the counter at the front of the store.  He began the printing process and in the meantime he went to the front door and flipped the sign to “closed.”  White he was at it, he also shut off the neon sign in the window.  He thought about locking the door but figured that you would feel safer with it unlocked.
You, however, would have been okay with anything.
From the moment you stepped into the shop, it was like lightning struck you to your place.  As soon as you laid eyes on him you knew that you’d come to the right place.  First of all, his work was immaculate.  His style was exactly what you were looking for.  However as soon as you saw the artist himself, it was as if you were glued to the ground.  He was positively, show stoppingly gorgeous.  He spoke with a slight Busan accent, which you found incredibly endearing.  His face was boyishly cute but his entire demeanor made up for that.  He looked as if he wanted to eat you alive and you would probably let him.
You’d be the first to say you weren’t the most innocent person in the world.  Many people only ever slept with their soulmates, but not you.  You didn’t have a soulmate, but you still felt sexual urges on occasion.  You’d only slept with a couple of people, but even at the time both of you knew that it wasn’t right.  The sex was nice, but it wasn’t soulmate sex.  According to your best friend, who’d somehow lucked out and found her soulmate the day she turned 21, soulmate sex was unmatched.
You could only hope that was true.
Watching Jeongin walk around the shop was torture.  His skin practically glowed in the dim lights of the shop and the fluorescent lights from the signs on the window.  His muscles flexed as he worked on the stencil and your mouth watered at the sight.  How had you landed the hottest tattoo artist in the city on the first try?
Before you’d settled on his shop, you’d followed a bunch of different tattoo shops in order to gauge the different styles.  You’d looked for months to try and decide which artist would be the best.  That being said, the moment you came across Jeongin’s Instagram, you knew immediately that you loved his style.
However, now you were liking something else about him entirely.
Jeongin strode over to you with the stencil in hand.  He shot you a boyish smile that somehow looked sinful coming from him.
“Where do you want it?”  He asked.
Using one foot, he pulled up a rolling stool right next to the tattooing chair and he plopped down right next to her.  He held the stencil between his thumbs and forefingers, waiting for her to give him instruction.
“Oh, right here.”  You lifted the hem of your skirt slightly and Jeongin’s eyes greedily followed the motion.  You used two hands to show him where you wanted it to be.
Then came the moment of truth.
Was this incredible man your soulmate?  Or was he destined to just be your tattoo artist?
Jeongin leaned in closer and carefully lined up the stencil with where you wanted it.  Slowly, he lowered his hands towards your skin.  He glanced up at you as if to ask if you wanted him to touch you.  Your skin practically ached for his touch and you involuntarily lifted your leg to be closer.  Even if Jeongin wasn’t your soulmate, you knew there was something between you.
The back of his knuckle grazed your thigh.
For a moment, nothing happened.
Then, your core throbbed.  Hard.
It was him.  This man was your soulmate.
Jeongin’s hands wavered but he slowly pressed the stencil onto your skin and carefully smoothed it out.  The pads of his fingers ran across the skin of your thigh, slowly mapping out the smoothness of your skin.  He bit back a gasp as his jeans tightened.  Both of his palms rested on your thigh now, under the guise of smoothing down the stencil but he knew better.
Arousal licked up his spine and turned his ears bright red.  His cock strained desperately in his underwear, begging him to push it into the space between your legs.  The veins in his hands twitched as he gripped your thigh.  He bit down on his tongue to keep from shoving you down on the chair and taking you right that very second.  He just knew that you would feel perfect.  However, he had to be professional.
As gently as he could, Jeongin pulled the stencil back to reveal the rich purple ink staining your skin.  He stared at the design on your leg for a few long seconds before forcing himself to look up at you and he about came in his pants.
You stared down at him with hooded eyes and blown out pupils.  Your glossy lips were parted as they eyed him up.  The arousal between your legs pulsed in waves.  You squeezed your knees together in an effort to keep some dignity.  After your shower this morning, you’d gotten dressed in a rush and forgot one of the most important articles of clothing.  The one that was the barrier between you and the outside world.  The one that should be between you and the man, your soulmate, who was about to tattoo your skin.
Moments too late, you realized you’d neglected to put on panties.
The space between your legs began to feel sticky.  Jeongin made no move to look away from you.
“Is the placement okay?”  Jeongin’s voice sounded strained but he still managed to hold eye contact.  Your eyes flicked down to the ink once more.  It looked fine to you, so you nodded.  Jeongin smirked.  “Come on, darling, use your words.”
“Yes, it’s great.”  You blurted.  The space between your bodies was too vast.  In reality it was maybe two feet but in your mind it was like there were football fields between you.
“Come on, you have to really look at it.  After all, it’s going to be on your skin forever.”  Jeongin cocked his head at you.
Surely he was feeling the same brutal arousal as you, right?  Surely he understood what that meant, right?  You wanted to scream at him.
WE’RE SOULMATES!  FUCK ME ALREADY!
But his gaze left you glued to his seat.  Suddenly, you were ready to follow orders.
You tore your gaze away from his to look down at your thigh.  The purple ink stained your skin in a bold preview of the tattoo you wanted.  The placement genuinely looked okay to you.  After probably the longest five seconds of your life, you looked back up.
“It looks great.  Let’s do it.”
“Awesome, ready to get started?”
You stared at him for a few seconds, willing your throat to cooperate.
“Yes.”
“Perfect.”
“What’s your name?”  You blurted.  You knew him solely by his Instagram handle, which was his shop name but you couldn’t remember your own soulmate's name.  He only grinned.
“Jeongin.  And yours?”
“Y/N.”
“What a beautiful name, Y/N.”  Jeongin moved away from you just long enough to put on some blue latex gloves and some other supplies.  “Since this is your first tattoo I’m going to just do one of the smaller stars first.  If you don’t think you’re up for it after that, we can stop there, no judgment.”
“Okay.”  Your voice shook and you wondered just how he was staying so composed.
On the contrary, Jeongin was so painfully hard that he was worried he’d cum if he moved the wrong way and applied just the right amount of friction.
However, he shifted in his seat and prepared the tattoo gun.  He put on a pair of rubber gloves and leaned over your thigh.  He swallowed heavily before he placed his palm on your upper thigh.  As gently as he could, he placed the tip of the gun against the outline of one of the smaller stars on the design.  You winced when the needle began to do it’s thing, but didn’t stop him.  He gently traced the first small line of the tattoo before pulling away.
“How was that?”  Jeongin asked you, but he couldn’t look at you in case his voice would quiver.
“Stings but… I can take it.”  You chose your words carefully.  Jeongin tensed.
“You can take it, huh?”  Jeongin’s grip on your thigh tightened.  Your core clenched around nothing.
With that, Jeongin got right back to work.  He traced the pattern with his tattoo gun as slowly as possible.  Partially to draw out the visit but also to give you room if you needed to twitch or adjust.  Getting a tattoo for the first time was no joke, and while he wanted you to sit in his chair as long as possible, he also wanted your first tattoo experience to be as minimally traumatic as possible.  He had to remain as professional as humanly possible.
However, that’s when he smelled it.
Or to be more accurate, that’s when he smelled you.
It was as if his sense of smell was heightened with his arousal, or maybe it was because your arousal was so strong.  Either way, when you shifted in your seat he got a strong whiff of it and if anything it made him harder.  The scent was so rich and sweet and it took everything in him not to part your legs and stick his face between them.
His large palm squeezed your thigh gently, and in response you squeezed your thighs together.  With the realization that you were getting wetter and wetter with each passing second, you were determined to keep your legs locked shut so Jeongin couldn’t sense your arousal, but he had other plans.
“Relax your thighs a little, darling,”  his tantalizing voice shot up your spine, “I can’t tattoo if you’re all tensed up.”
“Shouldn’t we talk about this?”  You blurted suddenly.  He blinked in surprise at you and your face flushed with embarrassment.  Maybe you’d gotten it all wrong.
“Talk about what?  Your tattoo?  I’ve already started but we can certainly-”
“Are you trying to tell me that you don’t feel anything right now?”
Jeongin’s shocked expression slowly melted into a smirk.  He squeezed your thigh tightly and pulled your leg towards him.  Your legs parted and exposed you to the chilly air of the tattoo shop.  The cold air licked up your core and you shivered.
“Keep your pretty legs open for me while I mark you and maybe I’ll give you what I want,” Jeongin challenged as if his dick wasn’t throbbing in his underwear.
“I- what?”  Your face flushed with embarrassment at the idea of being exposed to him, but at the same time you had a feeling that if you closed your legs he wouldn’t give you what you wanted.
Jeongin got back to work.  One hand gently massaged your thigh when he wasn’t wiping away excess ink.  The tattoo gun stung as he traced the design, but you could barely feel it over the wet throbbing in your core.  You were positive that the inside of your thighs and the chair beneath you were doused in your slick.  You tried desperately to appear normal but you needed him inside you, like, yesterday.
It became increasingly clear that Jeongin knew exactly what was going on.  The more you watched him, the more you should see him shifting in his seat to try and conceal the massive bulge in his jeans.  Deciding to test the waters a little bit, you spread your knees apart a little more.
Jeongin had to pause and take a deep breath to keep himself composed.  The scent of your arousal was driving him absolutely mad and he was ready to get rid of the idea of having your tattoo take as long as possible.  Now he wanted it done as soon as possible so he could put his fingers inside you and let your taste coat his mouth.  He wanted to drink you up until you were shaking.
“You’re doing so well for me, baby,”  Jeongin praised once he was halfway done.  He wiped the tattoo with a damp paper towel to get rid of some of the excess ink.  Your thigh was a little swollen but that was to be expected.  Your skirt fell delicately just enough to cover your core from him.
“So you do know who I am?”  Your voice came out strained.  The more he touched you the more turned on you got.  You wondered if the entire shop smelled of your pussy.
“Of course I do, angel.  I knew it from the second you walked in here.  Do you need a break?”  Jeongin cocked his head innocently once more.
“N-no.  I want you to be done soon.”
“Why’s that, Y/N baby?”
Yeah, you were done for.  Any and all proprietary got thrown out the window.
“I need you inside me immediately.”  You couldn’t believe you’d just spoken that way to a stranger, but your pussy wanted what it wanted.
“Then I’d better get back to work, huh?  I’m eager to see what’s mine.”
With that, Jeongin went back to it.  The sting of the needle and the blood didn’t bother you.  You had no idea how you could still be so wet while being in that kind of pain.  You didn’t think you were a masochist, but something about Jeongin made it seem normal.
You wanted to cry and beg for him to fuck you already, but you had a feeling he wouldn’t if you acted desperate.
Instead you let out a pathetic whimper when a particularly empty clench made you shiver.  Jeongin paused and raised an eyebrow in question but you nodded to assure him that you were okay.  The tattoo wasn’t causing you any pain at this point.  The ache between your legs rivaled any and all pain you’d experienced thus far.
The only sounds in the shop were the buzzing of the tattoo gun and your heavy breathing as you tried to get your arousal under control.  You had a feeling you’d cum the moment he finally touched you.  If he finally touched you.
“You’re doing so well for me, baby.  Keep your legs open, I want the chair to be soaking before I even give you my tongue.”  You shivered.  “Oh, you’d like that, huh?  I bet you’ll taste even better than you smell.  Your pussy is already crying for me.”
“Are you almost done?”  You asked and Jeongin tsked at you and pulled the tattoo gun away from your skin to wipe at the raw tattoo.
“You’re so impatient.  Do I need to teach you the rules?”
“Wh-what are the rules?”
“The rules are that you sit still, legs open, and you don’t touch yourself.  When I’m done and if you’re good, maybe then I’ll give you my fingers, got it?  And I am going to take as long as I want to get this pretty tattoo done for you.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Already so obedient,”  Jeongin smirked, but dropped the facade for a moment to reassure you, “If you need a break just tell me, okay?  Tattooing can be hard.”
“Got it.”  You nodded, letting him know that he could get started again.  You were glad that, despite the dominance he was showing, he would give you a break if you wanted.
However, you were pretty sure you wouldn’t need one.  From your perspective, it looked to be almost finished but you weren’t the artist.  You had no way of knowing when he would be done.  Especially since it was explicitly clear to you now that he wanted to take his sweet time with you.
A particularly sharp stab of the needle made you wince but you didn’t tap out.  At this point you needed literally any kind of friction to soothe the pounding in your core.  You could feel your heartbeat in your pussy. Your parted legs were a window into you and your smell overpowered the tiny shop.
You thought this couldn’t get any worse.  That was, until Jeongin started speaking.  His voice sounded sweet and boyish but his words were anything but.
“Baby, you smell absolutely divine.  I can’t wait to shove my tongue into you and drink up your sweetness.  I can’t wait to see your sweet, tight pussy.  I need to be inside you so bad but I gotta make you feel good first.  Baby, you’re mine forever.”  You clenched at this, hard.  Jeongin smirked at this.  “You like that, my love?  You like the idea of being mine forever?  Angel, your little pussy is mine.”
You were reduced to a whining, whimpering mess at his words.  You wanted to slip your fingers beneath your skirt and through your folds.  You figured that even the smallest touch would send you over the edge.  The desire and need you had for him was going to drive you crazy.
“Please,” you begged and Jeongin smirked.
“Please, what, my love?”
“Please touch me or let me touch myself.  I need it.”
“You need it?  Sounds desperate.  Are you desperate for me?”
“Yes!  I’m so desperate for you!  I need your fingers!  I need your tongue.  I need your cock, please!”
Your hand slipped down to grab the hem of your skirt.  The tips of your fingers grazed your soaking folds and you moaned on contact.  Rules be damned, you needed relief and you needed it now.  The tip of your finger prodded your swollen hole.
“What did I say?”  Jeongin pushed your hand away, “The tattoo is almost done.  Be patient or your slutty little hole gets nothing.  Do you even know what your body is craving so badly?  Have you ever had anyone else in you before?”
“No!  I swear, no one else has ever touched me.  But… I know what I want.”  Your eyes darted to the tent in his pants and your mouth watered.  Jeongin smirked.
“Perfect.  Then you’re all mine to ruin.”
A shiver ripped down your spine at his words.
After what felt like an eternity, the buzzing of the tattoo needle stopped.  Jeongin wiped the tattoo a few more times, cleaned it, then applied a thin plastic protective film over it.  Every single touch of his hands on you made your body ache for more.  At this rate, you wondered if people could die from lack of touch.
Once the film was applied, Jeongin tore his gloves off and raced to wash his hands.  He sat back on his stool almost before you’d realized he was gone.
“I’d go over tattoo aftercare but I can barely think right now,” Jeongin admitted, swinging the stool around so he was sitting directly in front of you, “Y/N, baby, tell me this is okay.  I want you so badly but I won’t do anything if you say no.”
“If you don’t touch me right this instant, I’ll die.”  Your declaration made him chuckle.
Then, his hands were on you.  Without the gloves, the feeling of his skin on yours was borderline orgasmic.  His veiny hands grabbed your knees tightly and pressed down, forcing your legs open even more.  His gaze dropped from your eyes, down your body, to the hollow space between your legs.  It was barely covered by the thin material of your skirt but it was still like he was exposing you to the world.
His hands moved up your legs, massaging your thighs along the way with deep presses and firm squeezes.  His eyes darkened the moment his nimble fingers flipped up your skirt and revealed your glistening core to him.
“Y/N, baby, you’re so wet I think I’ll drown.”  Jeongin’s voice dropped an octave.  You could only whine and lift your hips up a little to entice him closer.
“Jeongin, please, please touch me.”  You begged shamelessly.   He smirked at your neediness.
“Next time I’ll punish you for being needy, but this time I’ll reward you for being so patient while you got that tattoo.”
Jeongin’s hands landed on your inner thighs.  He slowly moved his hands closer, rubbing small circles as he inched closer to where you needed him the most.  Then, his fingertips grazed against your swollen hole and you let out an embarrassingly loud moan.  He circled upwards until he found your clit.  He knew he found it when you gasped and your knees opened a little bit more.  The second his finger made contact with your clit, intense sparks of pleasure shot through your veins.
He rubbed in tantalizingly slow circles and you had half a mind to knock his hand out of the way to get off yourself.  You could feel your heartbeat in your pussy with how badly you needed him.
Finally he moved his hand back down to your entrance and prodded it with his index finger.  He smirked when you moaned and pushed your hips up.  Then, he finally pushed his long digit into you and your core clenched onto him hard.
“Oh baby, does that feel good?  You like it when I finger you?”  Jeongin cooed and he pressed a second finger into your dripping cunt, “I can’t take it anymore.”
Before you could register his words, Jeongin was shifting.  He pressed his free hand to the inside of your knee for stability as he leaned down and latched his mouth onto your glistening folds.  He sucked you into his mouth, slurping on your juices and moaning at the taste.  His lips latched onto your clit and sucked.
You could feel his smirk against you as you moaned freely.  He played and pleasured your cunt as if he’d been doing it all his life.  He curled his fingers within you just the right amount as he searched for the gummy spot inside of you.  It didn’t take him long before the pad of his finger pressed into it and you let out a sob.
“Please, please, please,”  you begged, though your brain was too clouded to remember what you were begging for.
Jeongin lifted his head from your cunt to chide you, “Aw, baby, are you already drunk on my fingers?  I haven’t even given you my cock yet.  What do you want, angel?”
“Cu- cu, I wanna,” you lifted your hips a little to entice him back to your center.  Jeongin leaned down to lap gently at your clit and you moaned at the pleasure that ripped up your spine.
“I want to give you what you want, so just tell me, baby.”
“Cum!  I wanna cum!”
“You wanna cum?  How?”  He tilted his head innocently as if his chin wasn’t dripping in your arousal.
“In your mouth.  On your tongue.  Please, please!”  You cried.  Your hand reached up to curl into his hair as you guided him back to your center.
You were sure Jeongin would punish you later for touching him without permission, but right now he needed this as much as you did.  Jeongin’s lips latched right back onto your sensitive clit and got right back to work.
He licked and sucked on the sensitive bud like his life depended on it.  Jeongin’s eyes slipped closed as he let your taste overwhelm his mouth.  Every gush of arousal on his fingers made his dick harder and harder.  He was sure he would blow untouched.  He removed his fingers from the depths of your core and you started to whine at the loss but he made up for it by immediately shoving his tongue into you and lapping up every single drop of arousal.
The warm, wet muscle inside of you wiggled and sucked at your dripping hole.  Jeongin ate you as if he’d never tasted anything so good in his life, and to be honest he probably hadn’t.  He wanted to savor every moment between your legs, and as much as he wanted to eat you out until the sun came up, he also needed to cum.  Like now.  But you had to cum first.
He pressed lightly just above your clit to push the bundle of nerves out a little bit.  Once it was exposed to the air, he suffocated it with his lips.  He latched on and sucked like his life depended on it.  Every suck and every lick got you closer and closer to the edge.
He moaned into your cunt and the vibrations made you shiver.  Your core began to clench and spasm around nothing.  Almost as if he could tell, he plunged his fingers back into you.  The friction of his fingers and the suction of his mouth overwhelmed you but in the best way.
You meant to warn him, you really did, but your orgasm grew and crashed over you before you could even register what was happening.  You moaned louder than you had all night and the grip you had on his head tightened.  Your cunt clenched and rippled around his fingers and he moaned as he drank up your release.  Pleasure pulsed through your body in waves.  Your cunt sucked his fingers deeper into you as he worked you through the most intense orgasm of your life.
All of the ones you’d done yourself were nothing compared to how Jeongin made you feel.
Despite the sharp pang of overstimulation, Jeongin kept sucking at your folds and at your hole to get every single taste of your orgasm that he could.
It wasn’t long before the pleasure began to mount again and a second orgasm washed over you as Jeongin tenderly lapped at your cunt.  The second orgasm was less intense but it left you empty and craving even more of him.
“Cock,” you announced and he pulled away from your cunt and raised an eyebrow at you.
“What?”
“Please, I’m so empty, I need your cock,”  you couldn’t believe the bold words that were coming out of your mouth, but Jeongin didn’t hesitate.
“You want my cock?  You think you can take it?”  Jeongin removed himself from you and sat back.  The outline of his thick cock showed right through his tight pants.  You salivated at the sight.
“Please,”
“Very well then,”  Jeongin rose to his feet and began to undo his belt and the zipper on his pants, “Alright, soulmate, let's have some fun, then.”
One thing was for sure.  If your cunt felt even half as good as it tasted, Jeongin would never let you go. Thank goodness for Soulmates.

hello love! congrats on 150 followers, your writing is very lovely, you deserve this so much more 🩷❗
i was wondering if i could get a 🍸send me a character + one of the following songs to write a drabble for with sirius black + lover's rock tv girl. (perhaps a tattoo artist au? only if you're comfortable though!)
feel free to ignore if you don't feel like writing it :) hope you have a nice day/night ahead! 🩷
hi, lovey! thank you for being so sweet, i hope this is something like what you had in mind 🩷 (wc: 874) (cw: pg mentions of nudity, mentions of smoking)
The whirring buzz of the tattoo gun does little to calm your shoddy nerves, though it at least pads the long standing silence. You’re not really sure if it’s customary to chat with your tattoo artist or not, but it certainly feels tense between you two. Luckily you only have…
You pick up your phone as casually as you can, careful not to twist your torso somehow.
3:17. Two hours left. How is that possible?
“Getting sick of me?”
Tucking your phone away, you glance down at the man inking your sternum. He’s lifted from you momentarily to dab at the area he’s working on, the sterile towel coming away black and red. You’re not sure if it’s proximity or some kind of psychological pain response, but he’s probably the hottest man you’ve ever seen. And he thinks you’re sick of him.
“No, not at all. How’s it coming?”
The man—his name is Sirius—smiles like he knows exactly what you’re doing, but he allows you to divert the conversation anyways.
“S’fucking badass. You’re a brave one for getting something so big for your first piece.” He’s completely genuine, which sends a lovely shock of pride through you. You’re not the daredevil type, but you aim to impress.
“It’s not so bad as I thought it’d be.”
Wincing, Sirius tilts his head like he’s about to burst your bubble.
“Well, I’ve only done your sternum.” As he says so, he places a gloved hand just under the place he’s mentioning, and you try hard not to suck in a breath. “Once I get to your ribs it’s gonna hurt a lot more.”
Right. He doesn’t demonstrate where he’s talking about for that, considering the rib area you have mapped out is essentially your underboob. You’re not sure how to feel about that, especially now that you’ve met who’s inking it, but you figure you’ll manage when the moment arises.
“Right, yeah, I keep forgetting,” you say truthfully.
Sirius sits back.
“Do you wanna break? Have a snack, maybe?”
Twisting your lips, you avoid his expectant gaze. A break admittedly sounds really nice, but for some reason it feels shameful to say. You’d sort of planned to tough it out the full three hours, no matter what.
“I’ll be fine, I think. I ate beforehand like you told me.”
At this, Sirius grins, though he’s also peeling his latex gloves off.
“Good lass,” he praises. “I’m gonna step out shortly for a smoke, though, if you don’t mind.”
You blink. “Not at all.”
Tossing his gloves, Sirius stands and exits without a word, leaving you sprawled on the tattoo chair. Finally out of his sight, you feel you can breathe again, but it’s all for naught; Sirius comes strolling back in moments later with a juice pouch and several snacks, taking your breath away again.
“Alright, killer, take your pick.”
You glance over the options he assembled—cookies and crackers and crisps—and hesitantly decide on one, slightly off-kilter. Sirius is like a whirlwind, or a cyclone. He dumps the remaining snacks on the counter behind him, and then he’s on you, putting his big hands under your shoulders to help you sit up.
“Let’s get you sat in my chair, it’s a bit more comfortable.” He does exactly that, setting you up for an intermission that you sorely need, and then he just…lingers. You’re certainly not complaining—his aptly ink-black hair and exposed tattooed forearms are really doing it for you. Still, it’s odd that the smoke break he planned never seems to happen.
When you’re back in the chair, satiated and far less jittery, you finally realize what he’s done.
“You tricked me.”
Sirius glances up from the ink palette he’s re-prepping, raising a dubious brow.
“Did I?”
“You did. You said you were taking a smoke break.”
Shrugging, he saddles up close to you, easing back into his work. A little jolt goes through you at the first contact.
“Relax,” Sirius says under his breath, and you make a conscious effort to unclench your muscles. “I changed my mind.”
“What?”
“Smoke break,” he reminds you. “I changed my mind.”
“Oh,” you breathe, waving him off. “Right. No you didn’t.”
Sirius pulls back to laugh at that, his shoulders shaking gently.
“Really, I did. I wanted to take my smoke break later, say—“ he bobs his head in an indecisive motion, “—another hour from now.”
Really, you're not sure this tattoo will ever get done if you keep making each other laugh. Sirius has to wait for your chest to stop lifting to continue.
“I’ve changed my mind, too,” you say as he finally ducks back in.
“Oh, yeah?” Sirius shoots an indulgent grin up at you. “‘Bout what?”
“I’m completely sick of you.” Another long pause in his work, and this time you’re both laughing. “You're incorrigible.”
As Sirius laughs, you watch his lips pull back over his teeth, canines flashing. Everything about the look of him is sharp, but his laugh is warm and round. Boyish.
“Pardon me for looking after you. It won’t happen again.”
Glaring at him with an exasperation you don’t really feel, you say, “yes it will.”
Sirius licks over his teeth now, an image of feigned guilt.
“Yes,” he agrees, “it will.”
