about Taylor Swift's shows in Brazil:

to explain a little about what is happening here in Brazil. I'm from a state that isn't Rio de Janeiro and in fact it should be a colder state but it's been unbearably hot for weeks! So I can't even imagine what Rio de Janeiro is like, it must be a living hell this week!

yesterday (18) a fan died during the show (Taylor posted in her stories that the fan died before the show, but information given by friends and relatives says that the fan passed out during the second song, DURING the show) and in Brazil, these types of shows also DO NOT HAVE assigned seats, so for a show that starts at 6pm, fans arrive in line at 9am. Conclusion: these 2 days fans spent the whole day in the scorching sun to get a good seat to see their favorite singer, so many are disappointed with Taylor because of the timing of the postponement of the show. (this is the feeling across the internet and not personal opinion)

it was already known to everyone that today would be HOTTER than yesterday, the whole country already had the information that today would be very hot, but the show was only canceled a few hours before it was supposed to start, after the fans spent the whole day in the sun and were ALREADY INSIDE of the stadium.

everything is really a mess rn, I hope that from this tragedy, more laws come out here in Brasil to protect fans (they refused to allow fans to enter with a water bottle!!!!)

and my heart goes to the family of the fan who died due to the heat!
