not to be an asshole about it but people claiming taylor didnt write vault songs back in the day because "they're just too good compared to the rest of the album"

first of all: why are you shitting on the rest of the album?

second of all: it is entirely likely that while in production her and jack have polished some stuff, why wouldn't they? when i go back to some of my past work i need to restrain myself from like changing a simple like three letter word sometimes

third of all: why is it so hard to believe she would have written such amazing songs back in the day? she's done it many times so idk why these songs are now cause for doubt
