Hey there, pop culture aficionados! Welcome back to LearnFromWarhol, where we take a deep dive into the world of art, fame, and everything in between. Today, we're going to talk about something that's been on my mind for a while: celebrity pets.

Now, we all know that celebrities love to pamper their furry friends. Whether it's a teacup Yorkie carried around in a designer purse or a Great Dane with its own personal trainer, celebrity pets are living the life of luxury. But have you ever stopped to think about the implications of this phenomenon?

Let's take a look at some of the most famous celebrity pets out there. We've got Paris Hilton's chihuahua Tinkerbell, who was famously photographed in a pink tutu and diamond collar. We've got Taylor Swift's cats, who have their own Instagram account with over 12 million followers. We've got Lady Gaga's French bulldogs, who were tragically stolen in a violent dognapping incident earlier this year.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love animals as much as the next person. But the way celebrities treat their pets is starting to feel a little...well, excessive. It's not enough to give them a loving home and take care of their basic needs. No, these pets are expected to be fashion accessories, social media stars, and status symbols all at once.

And what about the animals themselves? Are they really happy being paraded around in fancy outfits and subjected to the paparazzi's flashing lights? Do they enjoy being treated like objects rather than living beings with their own thoughts and feelings?

Look, I'm not trying to be a killjoy here. I'm just saying that maybe we should take a step back and consider the implications of our obsession with celebrity pets. After all, there are millions of animals out there who don't have the luxury of being pampered by a rich and famous owner. Maybe we should focus on giving those animals the love and care they deserve, instead of idolizing pets who live better than most humans.

so if Visenya, Baelon, Monty, and Brigit (bringing their chihuahuas/yorkies/whatever Vyper and Winter are if you want, Vyper reads major chihuahua or pomeranian energy to me) all went on one of those multi-day road trips from LA to NYC (or wherever, you pick), how would it go? Who hogs the aux cord? Who gets snack crumbs everywhere? Who is anal about being the one to drive, who tries to avoid driving whenever possible? Anyone get carsick?

this is so funny to think about you have no idea. i've been wheezing for thirty minutes

I'm of the opinion that fics where the dragons are cars are superior to the ones where they're pets, so the road trip is actually happening IN either Vyper/Wynter.

Monty is like an old lady driver because he's terrified of getting into an accident. Exactly at the speed limit or under it at all times, never forgets to use his blinkers, both hands on the wheel, adjusts the mirrors every time he gets in the car.

Brigit? Okay driver. Nothing major. Speeds a little sometimes.

Baelon and Visenya? MENACES.

Baelon's a really good driver, but he also takes turns SO FAST and has such deep animosity towards everyone else on the road that it stresses everybody out. Just "and then this worthless motherfucker, what do they even think they're doing, bitch I WILL HIT YOU WITH THE CAR" and then Brigit's like "bro that is a 76 year old man stopped at a stop sign CALM DOWN"

Visenya's just. Bad. She's terrible. She speeds and she takes curves like a madwoman and she gets distracted playing with the radio and talking, she does not use her blinker and forgets to check her blindspot like 98% of the time. Two fingers on the wheel. Has driven with her knees before while trying to fix her eyeliner. The fact that she has never been in a car crash is entirely because sometimes Baelon just grabs the wheel.

("Fucking--brake lights, slow down!"

"I saw it, Monty, I saw it! God, I passed my test before you, you know, you don't have to act like--"

"Your dad paid the instructor!"

"That was unrelated!")

Brigit has to stop to pee like. So often. Baelon is so aggravated every single time. Usually they stop at like a gas station for her to use the bathroom, and she buys a slushie while she's there which just makes her need to pee again, and it's a vicious, terrible cycle.

Whoever is in shotgun (they take that in shifts) has control of the music, but everyone else is constantly complaining about it.

Monty listens to the weirdest mix of Taylor Swift, jazz, and heavy metal, and no one knows what the fuck they're supposed to do with that.

Visenya plays stupid things because she's annoying, like Yo Gabba Gabba soundtrack type shit, and then will randomly hit them with a weird ass indie band no one has ever heard of but is??? So good???

Baelon likes Nickelback, and he'll just randomly have Disney soundtrack songs on his playlists with no explanation.

Brigit listens to German pop music. She does not speak German. She refuses to elaborate.

They survive solely on junk food and random gas station fruit until they reach their destination, but they're all pretty good about not making too much of a mess. No one gets carsick except Monty--and that's just because he keeps trying to read in the car, he's fine once he gives up. Visenya keeps stealing Baelon's sunglasses. At one point, Brigit forgets her wallet on the gas station counter and they have to double back an hour to pick it up. Monty buys a spray bottle and uses it whenever it's Visenya and Baelon's turn to sit in the backseat because if they start making out it's going to get awkward. Visenya and Monty are always cold but Brigit and Baelon are always hot, so the AC is a knockdown dragout fight. Monty falls asleep and Baelon draws dicks on his arm.

cemile seems like your typical snobby, rich asshole, but that assumption couldn't be more wrong. she has a mysterious air to her, and is incredibly hard to get to know, but once you have her friendship you'll find that she's a dedicated friend with unwavering loyalty. she's charming and funny to those close to her, and though she has some major trust issues, she wants desperately to love and be loved and accepted in return - it's just hard for her to let herself get close enough to others for that to happen.

ㅤ۪ㅤ۫ㅤ੭ BACKGROUND

unlike the people she surrounds herself with, cemile wasn't brought up in the lap of luxury. quite the opposite, she was raised in a poor household, her family barely scraping by. however, when she was six, her parents and younger sister passed tragically in a house fire when she was spending the night at a friend's house, leaving her to be an orphan. luckily, it didn't take long for her to be adopted, and by an extremely wealthy family who couldn't have children of their own. she was extremely grateful to them, and in turn, did everything in her power to make herself appear to be the perfect child for them. they kept her birth name to not erase her identity, and ensured she was raised speaking both english and turkish.

when she was seventeen, her entire world changed. a girl claiming to be her younger sister came into her life, and said that she had somehow escaped the fire, giving cemile a sob story on how she'd been adopted as well and wanted to look for her their entire lives but wasn't able to until then. she reluctantly believed her, ecstatic that she hadn't lost her sister, and wanted to have a relationship with her. it turned out that she was lying, after her adoptive parents hired a private investigator to look into the shady individual, finding out that she was nothing more than a con artist; someone who heard the story on the news and decided to use their likeness to take advantage of cemile's wealth.

cemile was completely devastated, and has had a difficult time trusting people following the incident. in the years since, she's found it extremely difficult to open up to people, afraid that they'll take advantage of her and has learned to use her snobbery and pretentious mask as a way to keep people at an arm's length. her and her adoptive parents moved to glen ellen for a fresh start as soon as she graduated from high school, and she's been in town for the past ten years.

I am the one who asked about "frosty crew photography". It seems we have no Karlie explaination for this, right? ;( It is what it is. But I found a crazy coincident: Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013: Karlie in her LOVER era Angel Wings on stage. Taylor: "Welcome New York City.... my name is Taylor. These are my friends Patrick, Pete and Joe and they are Fall Out Boy." Is there a PETE sign as well!?

hmmmm so, i think you might be looking at this in a way that is not so realistic.

the assumption we as kaylors make is that taylor and karlie would have a secret relationship, one which taylor would like to sing about and express her feelings about but also not have people be able to prove.

given this assumption, i think it would be a mistake to assume that every detail that taylor shows about joe is actually about karlie. if i were in her position, i would want to add in some stuff that points to my beard being real, you know? ultimately taylor would want a secret relationship of this importance and length to be a deniable thing. i think a lot of stuff certainly mimics her relationship with karlie, but it’s not gonna be a 1:1 and i don’t think it needs to be, or should be.

in other words, while i’m sure karlie has taken tons of photos and video of taylor over the years (and i bet a lot of them have been used in taylor’s work), i can imagine that taylor takes some herself and has her creative team take others as well, and i can also imagine taylor looking to joe’s actual life for inspiration when creating an explanation that he might have taken them. does this make sense?

i guess another bigger point is that i don’t think the idea of taylor’s relationship with karlie hinges on needing to prove that every thing joe does is actually connected to karlie. it’s important not to lose sight of the big picture.

actually, i think one interpretation of the song ‘invisible string’ is similar to this conversation. taylor listing off different joe historical details, and then saying “isn’t it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me?” or in other words, “there’s not actually a connection here but it makes for a nice story, doesn’t it?” — maybe the one line in that song hinting at karlie would be when the music style changes and she sings about the single thread of gold, which sounds more tangible than the invisible string she sings about. so i guess i’m saying that a kaylor or gaylor might listen to invisible string and try to prove or disprove if it is possible that bad blood or some song was in fact playing in a taxi when karlie first went to LA, when really the main message taylor sings is elsewhere and we are getting caught up in the details.

you’re right about the vsfs 2013 opener! during lover era i remember some of us had a laugh about that because a lot of lover promo was taylor screaming about new york city 🥰 and i forgot about fall out boy’s band member names being like that, that’s funny! fun fact: karlie’s childhood pet is a yorkie named joe.

i was listening to ivy by taylor swift, and i couldn’t help but reminisce about the life i once had around late 2013-2016; the summers i spent at my dear godmother’s country home, feeding the chickens, running around town with the pets bobby, tiger, and finally yorkie, when bobby and tiger passed. the pictures we had framed and printed at the local printing shop. my afterschool club, where there were wonderfully kind leaders like olive, bridget and ainé who helped us with homework and planned trips, like the time we went surfing at inchydoney beach and the cultural festival we had in town where i got henna for the first time. the weekends when me, my sister, and our friends amira and michelle went to our mutual friend mary’s house (her mother being friends with my mom and she still sends us birthday cards and money every year), her beautiful, big home that was surrounded by forestry, and how we’d crush over her brothers jude, ernie, florrie, and blaise. and we’d spend our time exploring the area. how we joined the local junior orchestra, me and my other friends adiba and osas, and we picked up the violin, our teacher gifting us each a fiddle of our own, and the lessons spent giggling and learning to play nursery rhymes, albeit with a well-known, childish dissonance. and how we’d all, including bradley and russell, flock to the computers in the main room of the lodge we lived at, and play video games like fire boy and water girl, fighting over who’d be water girl because we were all used to using the arrows instead of the standard WASD. and the day me, my sister, and amira went with my mother’s other friends, her name stolen from me by time, to the woodland grove with all the fairy houses and we learned to make our own. and how we’d spend the night at amira’s, watching her mom playing coronation street on the telly, or at michelle’s, where we were frightened of her porcelain doll. how we snickered at bradley having to do his communion with us because he was held back, but promptly apologised after we realised he was upset. the aforementioned communion day, where i was adamant about frowning in all my photos due to my aversion at having my picture taken, and the only picture with me displaying a true smile was when i was surrounded by my dearest, precious childhood friends and we were elated about getting a table all to ourselves with fancy golden-rimmed cups, glass plates and silverware, and we laughed and smiled, because we were children and everything felt infinite. how much fun our school days were; the time i got my first splinter from running my hands too quickly along the wooden fence and cried for the first time at school, my classmates comments on how i was only five and in their class, nationality day, when my teacher told me off for writing on the desk, our school play of the nativity where i was one of the three wise men when i desperately wanted to be an angel, and how the parents clapped when we all joined as one on stage, our frequent visits to ucc and how we congratulated caolin for being our class representative, and when our first teacher retired and we were sad because she was the best. the time it started hailing on our way to school, and we ran back to the lodge, our home, screaming and yelling giddly until we noticed zainab was bleeding, but we got to skip school that day, so all was well. when we’d name the horses, flora, chocolate and brownie, that roamed the field across, and we’d beg the man who was responsible for their keeping to let us ride them and feed them. and our devastation when buttercup (a small gray pony with a golden mane) went missing, was found, and died shortly after from a sickness that i no longer remember. the day when school ended and summer arrived, and we went to a mud camp and spent it sliding into muddy water and playing pranks on each other. how none of the photos taken that day, that i still own, have me in them. and how we all cried and stared in confusion, when zainab’s mother passed, and most of the adults left to attend her funeral. and nothing was really the same.

I don't think Henry VII exiled Yorkist opponents. It's a very bad idea. It's basically sending discontent powerful subjects on a continent filled with scheming powers way too happy to keep them and use them for their English policy. Henry VII spent thousands of pounds capturing Edmund de la Pole; he bothered asking for the extradition of John Taylor and John Atwater after their champion Perkin Warbeck was caught (and they were bourgeois); he preemptively captured William de la Pole because he feared he might exile himself alongside his brothers.

You don't exile your nobles, ask Richard II how that went out.
