Headcanon A: what I think realistically

i think hw link takes his job very seriously. i haven't played hw but i just get this vibe from him. he's proud of what he's accomplished and also it's gone to his head a little bit. it's canon he has an overconfidence issue but i think that's the sword talking more than him and it backfires horrendously, leaving him incredibly doubtful of his skills.

Headcanon B: what I think is fucking hilarious

hmm... if you think of this like funny as in completely and totally opposite of canon, then i think that canon is leading you to believe that link is a Tough Manly Hot Guy but i think he's a soft lil wet cat. babygirl, if you will. the most pathetic creature on the planet. also i loved mizu's inclusion that asau warriors bakes??? i'm fucking in love with that. housewife coded. COMPLETELY and totally opposite of what u think hw link would be on the tin.

Headcanon C: what is heart-crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends

realllllly leaning into the horrors of war and the ptsd that comes with that. hyrule warriors haha fun hack and slash game!!! but what if you think about how this is a war going on and people are dying. how that affects a person's psyche long term. depression, ptsd, etc etc etc. this kind of thing can get really bad really quick.

Headcanon D: what would never work with canon but the canon is shit so I believe it anyway

Unfortunately I didn't really have the time/energy this month to participate in the 2024 Josuyasu week, but a few of my fics that I already have published fit some of the prompts

So if anyone is interested here is a master post of my Josuyasu fic collections that I have on Ao3 (canon_compliant)

*note: all of my fics are relatively sfw, most that are rated "T" are due to possible triggers (and some good old make-out scenes lol)

The boys are a mess

This is a series of my short Josuyasu fics while they're still teenagers. All the fics go together and if you read them in order, they are chronological.

The Kids Aren't Alright (Rating: T)

Summary: After witnessing Keicho’s death, Josuke can’t quite bring himself to leave Okuyasu alone. In what others might see as the smallest gestures, Josuke offers Okuyasu his friendship. Taking place during cannon, this is just a short fic about the beginnings of Josuke and Okuyasu’s friendship. Played both Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Endings

Both are super good in my opinion for V, Reed, and So Mi. Needed somewhere to post my thoughts.

My Natural Instinct

I did not trust So Mi at all, bro. Even from the beginning.. the thing with the chimera was suspect. Disappearing like that after I saved myers... idk bro. However, I do empathize with her circumstances. She's stuck somewhere where she's being abused. She's dying and she just wants to be free.

Don't trust Myers, but seemed the type to keep her end of the deal.

I didn't necessarily trust Reed either, but I believed in him. A man of principle who stuck by his team and country even if they did him dirty. I felt like So Mi only fake cared about me, but I felt like Reed truly did care about me and my life. He saw V as another of his comrads to protect. However, I knew it was his government that he'd unfortunately follow till his wheels deteriorated.

Following Reed

I believed that Reed 100% wanted to help So Mi escape. I told So Mi I only kind of trusted her and that I think Reed wants what's best for her.

Gameplay wise I think it's cool that following the FIA turned into a freaking horror survival game lmfao. I love the secret agent style shit in PL

Anyway, only in this ending do we learn that ROGUE AI are basically attacking her and using her as a fucking link to the physical world through the real net. She mentioned she felt like somebody was over her shoulder her whole time. It was THEM. I wonder what Alt would've had to say about it if I asked her tbh.

In the end though, there was a great moment with So Mi who was at her end. I had a save point and played out both instances if I killed her or if I let Reed take her. I don't really remember what my first instinct was to do... but after knowing both endings it would've been best just to kill her and give her freedom man. However, saving her gives us a bit more to Reed's character.

Reed is freaking depressed bro lmfao. He is the one keeping so mi in chains. He is the one locked in chains. He knows he's just a dog, enslaved to ideals he doesn't think truly matters, but it's all he has. The only thing he can do is lean into it, despite knowing it's flaws. "All that matters is that So Mi is still living." I think that's why Reed never comes suicide despite seeming so empty, he's strong enough to carry everything.. it's his duty even.

Ofc I accepted the offer to save my life, it made sense to me that they could really help and that Reed would do right by me.

FUCKING HURT ME that Johnny had to get destroyed so abruptly like that. I know he didn't want it. He accepted it though, his true death. Just Rogue and V being his last remnants of life in NC.

If you tell Reed thanks, he says something like "there's nothing to thank me for, V" and leaves, head hung down. Another life Reed took and ruined. Got So Mi on life support, enslaved by Myers, Alex killed, V some kind of wonky life so different than before. Coma for 2 years.

Also my Panam romance 💔💔💔💔 damnit! Panam is definitely the type to fucking be done with it cause she thinks I broke her heart but dang. Wish somebody would've went through my contacts and gave them the heads up 😐 but I LOVE what happened to Judy after this. She deserved the peace man. She's such a cool homie if you guys are platonic.

Following So Mi

I tried to play a lot more empathetic with So Mi and her circumstances, instead of just it being mutually beneficial. V was the only one who can understand what was happening to her.

& Since I played this second, I felt guilty asking her to use the black wall to hack shit and kill people while we were escaping from Hansen's spot. It's lowkey best to play this ending as a netrunner. You help So Mi a lot more directly.

So Mi is really just like V, kind of. She just wants to live, so she'll betray and lie to her friends and simply just have to feel bad about it afterwards. For the most part, V won't sell out to a corp, but So Mi kind of sold out her friends. Her character flaw I guess.

This is also the only ending where a diologue option will tell you MR BLUE EYES is the one who contacted her for NUSA info and hooked her up with a deal to get to the moon! This is the only time i remember hearing about him before you do the Sun ending. He definitely a major player in the next game and there's something he's trying to do involving space. Which is why i assume he sends V on a mission to the crystal palace.

Anyway, So Mi eventually reveals that she was lying to me the whole time. She knew it was only a one use kind of deal.... prick. But I told her I would've helped her anyway if she just told me.. which maybe I would've tbh.

I carried her to the rocket thing. Reed was waiting for you. You two are at odds now and he means business. He lowkey tries to butter you up about protecting So Mi, but call him on his bullshit. Then he switches up, he wants to take care in to answer for her crimes. I said I didn't want to have to shoot him. He said "neither do i" 🥹 but yea I popped his ass after he gave me no choice. In a certain regard I was happy he found peace. Killing reed is the best thing to do in this ending 100%

You hook So Mi in the rocket to the moon and talk with Johnny as you two watch her go into space. Real.

Wait long enough you get a mysterious message to go find a package. The package has evidence that So Mi is alive on the moon. Very cool! She lives in this ending. And she's free. I was actually super happy about that tbh.

Also with this ending, Alex lives. PL tried to give you a relationship with her... in the ending where she dies I was sad about it but got over it. In this ending where she lives you get another chance to chat with her. She calls you up to the bar and basically wants to ask about Reed's last moments and to say goodbye. I really liked Alex's character and appreciated this goodbye.

A while after this, you get a postcard on your megabuilding apartment door from Morocco. Alex is free too. A very good ending. Now it's up to V to find out how to survive (lol)

Which is better?

You get to see into So Mi's past with the first ending. First hand. You get some conversations with Reed that give him more depth, but So Mi either dies or might as well have died. Reed lives on avoiding his very clear regret, but may have found purpose. If you choose to take the help here V becoming just another face in the crowd... a bit of a shame if you played into the 'become a night city legend' but kind of deep and real considering now he has a new life, but had to go through a lot and lose a lot on the way.

With the second ending, Alex and So Mi live & them and Reed are free from being dogs to the NUSA government. You get your farewells... at least somebody gets a happy ending. With this, you also get your farewell with Johnny in one of the base endings. You can digest the weight of a life and choosing your own way to go. There's some moments in this, the conversations inbetween, in big fights, hand in hand with So Mi that make this worth while. Digesting it all with Johnny means a lot too.

Things I dislike: his WRITTIIIIINNNGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH literally why did we. WHY. you have the power to end these patterns. I still don’t get why they wrote him to be this irredeemable hatesink and then threw on top of the mudcake “OH he was a child slave and also GOT BRANDED!”. Like. I mean okay more material for me <3 but then WHYYYYYYY DID THEY NEVER ADDRESS IT ANY OTHER TIME. ALSO WHY WAS HE GIVEN THE MORE ON SCREEN DRAMATIC DEATH THAN FUCKING J A C Q U E S. oh and also the fact he only ever interacted with uhhhh like? 6 characters maybe and only 2 of our main characters are included in that.

Their best volume: I’m gonna be honest…. Volume 6. It was the volume the animation looked good, he looked good, his va improved somewhat (though the dialog certainly didn’t RIP), we finally got to see under that mask, and that alone was what got me interested in the loser. And thus, blorbo.

What happened was basically what you said. He was really angry and sad. His friend Iron had passed from suicide and he posted an "RIP" IG story for him. I guess people called him out for that since Iron was super problematic during his life. So he (Chillin Homie) took a bunch of his prescription pills to try and overdose. Luckily, at the time, he was living with someone and they came in to help him get medical attention. He was still "awake" but he was foaming at the mouth and slurring his words due to having the medicine in his system. The live was then shut off. It was pretty scary because for HOURS we had no clue what was going on. Eventually, Groovl1n posted a statement. He apologized for the inflammatory comments he made about Feminists and the incident overall.

It was VERY scary! In was in early 2021 if I'm not mistaken. I was in the Zoom for one of my classes not paying attention and instead hopped on his live. I STILL regret that, wish I'd have been paying attention in class instead. I wouldn't say I was severely traumatized by the experience though. I was just shaken up about it for a few days. So I hope others who were on the live that day are good as well.

When he went on SMTM11, he reassured Lil Boi that he was no longer struggling with depression and doesn't even need to take medicine. If you saw SMTM9 you may have remembered when he left due to his anxiety and depression. He said he was showing symptoms of alzheimers and having blackouts and things.

As of 2022 and 2023, he seems to be doing so much better. He released a bunch of music with different artists. He has a lot of friends in the industry. His lives now are usually him showing us his music. He went to the Us last year or early this year and seemed to be having a really good time out in nature and stuff like that. He got in a little drama earlier this year cause of some dissing between his friends and No:el. Also, some Ukrainian fans had to speak to him about not supporting Russian clothing. But other than that I think he's been doing reatively well from what he's shown fans.

Things about myself my s/o should very much know:

I'm a lazy, cynical and very pessimistic person (also very neurodivergent coded) I will cry if they're mean to me a lot and I will curse them out if they're mean to me a lot. Wow, this is scarier than I thought.

Which is funny, this blog is me talking to myself but others can read it. Kinda the definition of a blog?

I don't expect many people to interact with my posts. But If you do find me around come say hi! If you have any tips for task initiation and organization hit me up. I love learning and trying what works for other adhd homies.

A little about me, since this is my first post on this blog. I was diagnosed August 2022. I graduated with my bachelor's in March 22' and felt so listless, and nervous about looking for work as a Graphic Designer. Being a designer wasn't my first choice tbh. Maybe a story for another time, but all I knew was that I wanted to be in a creative field because art is the only thing I felt that I could stand. And I hated my job (that I unfortunately still have).

So, it's summer 22' I just finished my bout with COVID and, I didn't know it at the time, in the middle of the biggest burnout of my life. I'm on a road trip to see the Killers in Vegas, and I can't stop crying, mind racing, just completely icky in the back seat of a dark car, wishing the whole trip was over already, even though I was excited months before about his trip. So after I composed myself a little, I looked up online therapy options 'cause I don't have insurance, and have to pay everything out of pocket. I choose an app, sign up, and end up getting my money back cause they don't set me up with a therapist for weeks LMAO. So I chose another app and finally got a therapist. After I explained what I had been feeling she told me, "Wow, have you ever thought of being screened for ADHD?". I never, ever, thought about it, or was never diagnosed as a kid. That one sentence kinda turned my world upside down. It made me look back at every single moment of my life and think...There's a name for what I've been doing my whole life? It was depressing that it wasn't caught early, even though I struggled heavily through all my schooling. But it also gave me some relief. My life was put completely into perspective, it was such a bittersweet feeling. I had been masking so hard to get through my college work, like I said earlier, I struggled with my schooling so I was trying to prove to myself and my family that I could do this, get good grades, and graduate. I was running on empty by the end of it all.

So now I'm working on myself. Working with a new therapist who also has ADHD and specializes in ADHD. I'm occasionally on medication (long story). And learning new ways to accommodate my brain. It's a journey for sure. But the main takeaway I got from my life up to this point is that I'm resilient, all neurodivergent people are. This isn't the kind of thing that can be easily understood, so many people, women especially, are diagnosed later in life. And yet here we are powering through, and learning about strategies that work for us it's empowering. I know that sounds cheesy as hell. But it took a lot of soul-searching, and some self-love to come up with this realization.

guess what my homies after well over half a year i come back with a massive, 6k word chapter.

this was a bitch and a half to make. i mean last bit was posted pre-holiday, holidays came and wrecked my shit cause yknow, retail. then Lightfall launches but i get into a disgusting depressive episode that carries me thru april. all in all i did not spend most of the time writing.

ive got tons of ideas floating around, per use', and i've been working on them a lil bit all at once -- kinda like an adhd ridden squirrel as i described it. i mean, i did post that one fic about a new character i came up with, unrelated to these homies. i do that a lot. this brain just dont stop coming up with new things sometimes.

since this takes place in Dawn, and that was over three years ago, memory is spotty at best. Had to look up a video of a Sundial run to get the detes of the mission. and by that i mean excruciating detail. i wouldn't have it any other way tbh. i like my shit to be slow, giving you time to digest what you're reading. i hope it comes across right.

the lil post bit at the end was hard to come up with. imitating social media in fiction is tricker than expected! no wonder so many folk get it wrong. Honestly i wanted to include comments, show case the weird names i've come across while playing destiny, but in order for me to confidently do that I wanted to use a post as reference. unfortunately reddit, the site i was using as a basis since it's easiest to mimic in plaintext, doesn't want you to really look at older posts in a nice way. thats just how social media is now though, aint it. everythings all about the algo.

I was gonna setup a scene where the obelisks were setup in the beginning, but i scrapped it one way or the other. since that choice was made last year, i dont remember if i just didnt know how to do it, or couldnt find a good enough article to reference the questline cause its that too far back in my memory. I do remember needing to make sure pointe linked the tangled shore, while rin linked mars. Otherwise i would've given her steelfeather.

I've been playing the game since Shadowkeep when it went free to play, but somehow steelfeather repeater is still my most used weapon in pve content. 13k kills. my second highest would be gnawing hunger at a nice 9500, but thats still wild! I only was able to use the weapon for a few months before it got sunset, and i still havent used another gun as much as that. maybe i just dont play destiny as much compared to Shadowkeep..

Anyways, enough ranting. hopefully i'll get the next chapter out before next october lmao

Idk how much u have watched the show but I hope that you watch it more and it will become more clearer as to why legit the WHOLE fandom is hating in him and this is his 4th major appearance ig

(first — dark cupid , second — Siren, third — party crasher , fourth — derision.)

So I am gonna be using mild spoilers here in brief words so u get a outline of structures of what happened in da show .

Season 1 was very tame compared to the season 5 (recent season)

Season 2 dived more into the side characters . And if you have watched Siren then it will feel very weird seeing Kim as a bully in s5 as the s5 episode was based in flashbacks

In season 3 we see him wielding a miraculous (funnily enough mari never gave it to him master fu did) .

And most people who have wielded miraculouses (like the real jewels) in the show (apart from moth bitch ofc) have atleast showed chances of redemption in season 2 and/or season 3 [Chloe] or were already good enough .

I think this led me to believe that Kim was the "funny side character" and that he didn't have much to contribute to the plot .

BUT OH BOY WAS I WRONG !

Season 4 was a bit darker than the rest bcoz *spoiler* *spoiler* and bcoz at the end of s4 Ladybug lost many precious shits [you will find out ]

Now the finale of s4 singlehandedly sent ladybug into depression (she was in s4 too but after the finale shit evolved )

Then starts s5 which is upto date the darkest season . Jubilation is a personal fav of mine bcoz of how dark it is and how it makes us aware of the fears AND dreams of ladybug and chatnoir .

Now in the ep Derision we see a glimpse of Mari's past where ofc we know she got bullied by Chloe and her sidekick Sabrina .

What we didn't expect was TO KIM TO BE THERE . Kim indeed insisted Chloe in her messed up schemes to bully Marinette bcoz he found it "fun" and wanted to "laugh" .(hence he got Akumatized as dark humor lol)

Now in s5 Adrien is v v aware of mari's feelings towards him and he likes her too !

So after he hears how Kim treated her in the past (esp mari acted very weird while walking to the pool with her almost bf . That's what made him become sus of her) he was ready to kill that bitch off .

But the flashback ngl moved me to tears and I was almost about to cry .

And not saying it whole ly justifies but atleast it justifies Mari's stalkerish behavior and her horrified reaction after seeing tikki (she called her a bug mouse) and etc.

11/10 episode but tbh this needed to be released earlier . Pretty fucking sure this episode cleared up most plot holes .

Fuck yeah ! Welcome to the Kim Hate Train bcoz his apology at the end of the episode sounded so not sincere . (Sadly enough people like him exist irl which is the saddest and the worst thing)
