Affection comes in a lot of forms...(preference)

Requested by a smart cookie anon: Hi, can I request the batboys with a s/o who doesnt like kissing (on the mouth at least, saliva is icky) it could be like reactions to their s/o telling them? Or how they show their affection without kissing? Please dont feel obligated to write this if it doesnt appeal to you! Thank you! For your time!!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!

Preferences for Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian

Dick:

Okay so first off, Dick would totally get it

He may be a bit taken aback, not because of you, but because he is so dumbfounded that he hasn’t noticed or considered it before, but he’d catch himself pretty quick

And then, oh boy

Dicky boy is going to use every fucking opportunity to show you how much he loves you without his mouth ever coming near you

Excpect hugs and tickles to increase tenfold

Very, very much PDA that mostly consists of arms around you (or on your head if you’re smol like me) and he’s the kind of person who would just randomly pick you up and carry you around

Don’t try to fight it because you will spend 40% of your time in the air and his arms

He may catch himself wanting to kiss you every now and then, but if it ever actually get’s so far that he does it

Excpect thousands of apologies and him maybe actually crying because he thinks he’s a bad boyfriend

But after that it will never happen again (without you being okay with it or without certain conditions)

Jason:

I think this would hit Jason the hardest, in a sense that he would have to change his behaviour the most

He is really into PDA and showing people you’re his and if he can’t do that with kisses (his go to) then he will take a while to find a substitute

But he won’t blame you or anything, if someone get’s personal boundaries and setting lines, it is him

I think he might go off the same road as Dick

More Touchy PDA

Maybe not as much picking you up, but a lot of side-hugging and hand holding

Also he’ll try to show his affections with gifts (mostly flowers, sweets and little things)

Where Dick might slip up now and then, when telling Jason something crosses a line, he won’t ever do it

Ever

No matter how small or reasonless (in a sense that you don’t have a reason you can put into words and explain, not that there would be no reason to) he’ll adjust to you not the other way around

But he’ll also expect you to accept his lines and boundaries the same

Which I think is obvious we Gothamites would all do

Tim:

okay So Tim is an easy one

Tim is so sleep deprieved (I really have to talk about something else when talking about Tim too tbh) that he himself isn’t necesseraly a big Fan of random kissings

obviously It’ll be foreign to never kiss you, but he honestly couldn’t care less as long as it makes you happy

But Tim is more low-key with finding different ways of affection

PDA will be about the same as it would be usually

I don’t feel like Tim would be the kind of person who’d generally show his affection through touch

What he does tho is send you a lot of texts and heart-emojis

Excpect him to text you about his day and about yours and except late night face time calls

Generally a lot of connection on a technological level If you’re in the same school it will be a bit less since you’ll spend some time together there, just talking and chilling

But if you’re in different schools or even different cities, it will be a lot

Not like needy or clingy, but just loving

If you don’t answer he won’t spam you and he won’t excpect you to text back right away

He can’t text you back immediatly a lot too, so why should he give you a hard time about that?

But in general, he will let you know how much he loves you every day and kisses wouldn’t help him with that anyways

Damian:

So as easy Tim is, Damian is even simpler

Damian wasn’t raised in an enviroment where kissing and loving even was a thing so when he’s in Gotham he’s confused by it anyways

Of course he get’s used to it, but he can’t exactly completely overwrite his up-coming

So he isn’t big on PDA in any case

The most PDA the two of you do is maybe some hand brushing and Damian’s occasional jealous outburst where he puts an arm around you and glares at them

But not more

And even tho he can be a bit touchy in private (expect lots of koala behaviour) there isn’t much else

What he does is tell you how much he loves you like Tim does, just in person and a lot more poetic

That little shit would definitly write fucking poems and that shit and you can’t fight me on that

Well you can, but still

He’ll also definitly draw you

A LOT

like a lot lot

possibly has a whole sketchbook dedicated to you

And he’ll probably also paint you on a canvas and hand it up in his room, telling you that he sleeps better when you’re there in some way or another

So with Damian, there won’t be much different

And to conclude for all of them, none of my boiis need kisses to show you how much they love you 💜🔮💜

I mean, it’s a crack ship, being possible isn’t really its point haha they’re not supposed to make much sense, as far as canon goes? If I remember right they do come from the same prefecture, so maybe they knew of each other/ knew each other before UA, but as far as I’m concerned my interest in the ship comes from the quirk compatibility, really. It’s nothing I put much thought into, and I do have many ships for both of them I like better, but the idea of the two of them together is fun so why not

God, that’s one hard question to answer easily - I somewhat talked about it here? tho it was more specifically about why chapter 90 kills me haha but yeah to sum it up I’d say that my favorite ship for Kirishima is Bakugou because I think he’s the one that understands Kirishima best, the one that’s been there the most for him when Kirishima needed it, the one that always knows what to say to him and the one Kirishima holds onto when he needs strength, he’s the one that’s shown the most concern for Kirishima and the only one that’s actively done something to make him feel better when Kirishima needed it. He’s the one Kirishima gravitates towards the most and the one Kirishima shows most sides of himself to, too. And my favorite ship for Bakugou is Kirishima because Kirishima’s the only one that actually tries to see behind Bakugou’s anger, the one that since the start looked at him rage and saw a teen in pain, the only one that actually knows how to talk to him and the only one that doesn’t even need to try, he’s just naturally Bakugou’s perfect match in personality. He’s the one that likes Bakugou as he is, for what he is, not part of him but all of him, completely. He’s the one that’d risk his life for Bakugou no questions asked, and he’s the one Bakugou’s the most willing to spend time with, the one Bakugou talks to and shares with and accepts help from.

I like the relationship they share with each other the most out of every other relationship they have with other characters because they’re comfortable with one another and care for one another in an active way, do everything they can to make sure the other is happy and safe. Because they’re each other’s strength and greatest ally and best friend. I like that they’re aware of each other, that they know each other, that they like each other - not in a subtext kind of way, but in an obvious, on screen, there-was-a-chapter-in-which-that-was-actually-spelled-out way. I like how Kirisihima always knows what’s up with Bakugou, and I like how he’s the proxy to go to when people don’t know where Bakugou is, and I like that he always knows. I like that it’s implied they spend a lot of time alone together. I like that Kirishima said that Bakugou has a broken way of talking, but he isn’t a bad guy and he can’t say he dislikes how Bakugou tends to make enemies left and right, and I like that Bakugou took his hand and smiled at him. I like that Bakugou never yells at him and always calls him by name and never ignores him, and I like that Kirishima calls him out on his rudeness but still likes him and supports him and follows him. I like their relationship the most because it’s the most important relationship for either of them, because it’s healthy and equal and happy, and I ship it because seeing it as romantic from where they stand now, to me, isn’t a huge step at all

And I like this ship above any other ship, even above the ships with other characters that share similar relationships as far as support and love goes, because they’re fun, and rowdy, and bright and loud and dynamic, and I have fun thinking about them interacting more than I have fun thinking about anyone else. And because they’re separately my favorite characters, and I think together they’d be the happiest they could ever manage, and I really, really want that for both them. To be happy with the person that understands them the most and loves and supports them the most, and with whom they can be the most comfortable and open and at peace. I think they could be home to each other, really. They’re a pretty obvious ship, to me haha

I wouldn’t say they’re canonically into them, but I do feel like, if I were to point someone they might be romantically into, that’s who I’d point to hahaha but yeah Jirou and Momo! They haven’t appeared much in canon so after all there isn’t too much behind the ship, more for shortage of scenes than anything else, but Jirou tends to blush a lot around Momo, she’s really protective of Momo, she’s pointed out how cute Momo is on more than one occasion, and their friendship is seriously cute - they’re always together? And when they’re not Jirou gravitates towards Momo a lot, you see her in the background waving at Momo or walking towards Momo really really often - of course all of these things can (and most probably are) just proofs of their being best friends! But it’s a good relationship I love a lot, which is why I ship it~

Soonyoung crushing on you !! // scenario

A bullet-point scenario highlighting our bright star, Soonyoung/Hoshi !!

- special shout out to our hosh rn bc this poor boy is sick and he could use all the healing time he can get (stay healthy and rest, love <333)

- this sweetie is honestly one of the most hard working people e v e r

- he pushes himself so much

- and we know that he’s tough on the members when practicing but I’m sure that’s only because:

- 1. he knows the potential of his friends

- 2. he cares about the future of svt

- Soonyoung is just so caring to the point that it hurts him sometimes???

- I’m glad he’s resting because we all know he needs it, as do the rest of the members (especially with this crazy tour schedule they’re in the middle of)

- so really, I honor Soonyoung for everything he does, and he deserves only the best out of his career ;u;

- and with this I’m sure he’d only want to be the best version of himself for the girl he likes as well

- his determination in furthering his career would be the same when it comes to pursuing his crush

- with that said, let’s get right into the scenario !!!

- as an intern at pledis entertainment, you find yourself becoming close friends to 3 specific members of a particular svt unit:

- Channie, Savhao, and Junnie !

- you get to know these three performance unit boys individually, but you never get to hang out with them altogether

- so one day, your little friends tell you that it’s about time all four of you meet up once and for all

- but because of your crazy schedules, there’s really no other time to do this besides the performance team practice time

- at first you think, “hey it’d be kind of cool to see them choreographing n practicing n whatnot!”

- thing is

- there’s one member you haven’t exactly bonded with/talked to like you did with the rest of the performance team:

- Kwon Soonyoung

- thinking it would be awkward for the team leader to see you hanging out with his team, you often pushed off the idea of visiting their practices

- no matter how many times the three boys begged you to come

- you just couldn’t say yes

- you’d feel bad but you’d try to convince them that it’s for the best

- and besides, the practice is meant for them to practice, not to chat around with some intern (not like they would mind tho lol)

- imagine pouty chanhaojun @ you bc iSN’T IT JUST THE MOST ADORABLE THING???

- ANYWAYS, after much thinking, the three guys figure that there’s really no way they’d be able to hang out with you as a group unless they invite you over to practice

- so they get s n e a k y

- kind of

- okay not really

- during one of your shifts, Chan texts you:

- “y/n!! are you free right now?”

- “yeah, what’s up?”

- “can you come down to the practice room rn?”

- “you guys aren’t having practice right now, right?”

- “*suspicious eyes emojis*”

- “Chan, how many times do I have to tell you that I don’t want to intrUDE??” “I’m sorry, but I won’t go if you guys are busy.”

- “WAIT LISTEN LISTEN” “we actually need someone to give their opinion on this part of the choreography we’re coming up with... and we were wondering if you could take a look?”

- “uhhhhh... don’t yall have a creatives director... and an assistant choreographer LMAO”

- “yes yes but we want to know what girls like you would think of it you know :(”

- “sigh”

- “come on, just do us a favor” “and doing us this favor means you’re technically not intruding :3″

- “... fine.”

- “NDNFBLSJADFHBJ YAY OMG” “HURRY HURRY”

- so you head to the practice room, and as soon as you walk in:

- “Y/N-IE~” the boys greet you in excitement

- well except Soonyoung but

- he gives you a smile and a curt bow at least

- you give him a bow and a formal greeting as well, but that’s just about as much interaction you’ll have with him

- at first :3

- your three friends honestly just wanted you to be with them, and they finally found an excuse to bring you over to practice

- but you proved to be more helpful during their practice than they had all expected

- you gave pretty good constructive criticism on some of the dance moves and even gave a few suggestions for formations

- and your little trio LOVED IT

- but you know who appreciated your help the most?

- OFC IT’S HOSHI

- it was very nice to have another person give their opinion on the team’s choreography

- and it’s not just another professional choreographer or director doing it either

- it’s a normal person (I mean this in a good way :)

- and he thinks you’ve got a good eye for things that even the pros couldn’t catch themselves

- Soonyoung also realized how much nicer/less stressed he was when you were there helping out

- so all in all, he was really glad you came

- in fact:

- “hey, Jun, Minghao, Chan,” Soonyoung calls the rest of the team as they convene for practice the day after your visit

- the three boys turn to him

- “do you guys think... we could have y/n down here again? You know, just to help out again?” the leader looks down and paces shyly back and forth, but his face is blank

- “WAIT ARE YOU SERIOUS?” Jun says as his eyes widen in disbelief

- “yeah, of course,” Soonyoung is trying to keep his cool composure

- “YES YES WE’LL CALL HER RIGHT NOW !!”

- so they call you up to invite you once again, and since your three friends had expressed their gratitude for your help after practice yesterday, you agree to go

- you arrive at the practice room and are greeted warmly not only by your little trio

- but also by Soonyoung, who flashes a wider smile than the day before

- and it goes like this for almost every performance team practice you can attend from then on

- over time, Soonyoung would start to notice that you’re not the average, serious intern who’s just doing her job (and a little extra for their team)

- there’s a reason why his fellow team members have become so close to you

- they’re all so fond of your positive nature, understanding, honesty, and ofc your fun personality

- and these things are what draw Soonyoung to you

- if he’s being honest, he’d say he’s been attracted to you since he first saw you walking around the company building

- but your whole personality confirmed how much he was beginning to really like you

- YALL KNOW IT’S TIME TO DISCUSS SOONYOUNG’S CRUSHING HABITS:

- he’s honestly not like the rest of the members when it comes to crushing

- he’s kind of a mix of flirty and shy but you won’t be able to tell when he’s gonna be which???

- it can be confusing tbh

- like if you give him a compliment on some solo dance he made for himself, he could either go:

- 1. “oh reAlly??” *smirk* “was it... attractive? ;)”

- 2. “oh... really?” *blushes* “thank you~” *smiles at floor*

- but I’d say he’d be pretty shy 70% of the time at the start, and then he’d slowly get more flirty as you guys become closer friends

- speaking of being close friends, Soonyoung would also put so much effort into becoming your best friend

- because he wants to confess to you knowing that you’re close to him

- so even if you reject him, he knows there’s a chance that you guys can still be friends at least

- the last thing he wants to do is lose you altogether :(

- ALSO, ONE SUPER DUPER BIG THING that Soonyoung would do with his crush is force her to dance with him

- yeaH that’s right, get your dancing shoes on bc this boy will beg and beg until you agree to dance something with him

- even if you can’t dance, he’ll still really want you to do it

- it’s just a way for him to get skinship moments with you tbh slick shit hosh, real slick

- he’ll teach you the basics first and then progress into harder and more partner-based choreos ;);)

- so you’ll be slowly building up a whole dance routine collection with your bestie !! how cute :’)

- when he’s on flirt mode, Soonyoung is a huge tease we all know this

- the cute things he’ll do to get you flustered during your dance routines would either make you laugh or make you super weak omg

- he wouldn’t hesitate to take any opportunity to suddenly pull you close while dancing, and he’ll probably charm you with a smile while he’s at it

- and as he gets used to meeting up with you to dance,

- Soonyoung would want to spend time with you A LOT MORE OFTEN

- but only with you

- so oftentimes, after performance team practice, the other three dancers would hang out for a little bit in the practice room

- but Soonyoung would be itching to hang out with you and work on your dance routine alone in the room

- so he’d be awkwardly standing to the side as the trio plays around before he musters enough courage to say:

- “uh, hey guys,” he’d clear his throat. “I kinda- I mean, y/n and I- we want to... you know...”

- “oH, do whAt?” Jun wiggles his eyebrows. Chan and Minghao laugh along

- “HEY WE’RE JUST GONNA HANG OUT OURSELVES OKAY?”

- “Soonyoung’s making me do a dance with him again,” you’d explain

- “WAIT YOU GUYS DANCE TOGETHER???”

- “Wtf Soonyoung, you didn’t tell them?” you say

- “hey hey, you didn’t tell them either,” Soonyoung would laugh nervously

- and when the three boys finally get kicked out by Hoshi, the trio would probably tell the rest of the members about this out of saltiness lma0

- a few members would start to interrogate him about his crush, and he’d probably deny it every damn time it’s so obvious you ain’t fooling anyone buddy

- but when Soonyoung starts getting the feeling that you might like him as well, he’ll probably openly admit it to the group one day

- he’d show up pretty late to an svt meeting that Seungcheol is holding in the practice room

- “Soonyoung, why are you always so late nowadays?” Seungcheol would say in an upset tone

- “he was probably just hanging out with y/n again,” Chan would say bitterly

- “yeah, what a best friend stealer,” Jun would pout

- “hey man, y/n is my best friend,” Minghao would hit Jun in the arm

- “okay but who became her firST friend?? Das right, it was mE,” Chan would join in the fight

- “alright alright, that discussion can be held somewhere else at some other time,” Seungcheol would stop them. “Soonyoung, seriously, what’s going on? Is this about y/n?”

- “yeah dude,” Seokmin would say. “If you really like her, just admit it already.”

- “no one’s buying it when you say you don’t,” Wonwoo adds and the rest if the boys nod in agreement

- “UGH FINE, YES I DO LIKE Y/N, OKAY?”

- “and I’m sorry for always being late to these kinds of meetings and practices lately. I just really like her okay?”

- “I’m putting all this effort into hanging out with her because I really don’t want to lose her.

- “You guys know how I am when I’m serious about pursuing something.”

- the whole group goes silent. Seungcheol thinks it over

- “Normally,” Seungcheol starts. “I wouldn’t let this kind of thing slide with me, but I can tell you really like y/n, so I’ll forgive you.”

- “But let me tell you, if she’s willing to spend that much time with you, she probably likes you too.”

- with this, Soonyoung finally decides that it’s time to confess

- one night, your hangout with Soonyoung extended a little later at night than usual, meaning you’d have to walk home to your apartment alone in the dark

- but ofc Soonyoung, being the caring person he is, would want to accompany you home, just to make sure you get there safely

- and while you guys are walking home, Soonyoung’s heart can’t help but flutter while seeing you smile at your conversation under the street lights at night

- he’d be falling so hard at this point, he’ll have to do something about it

- and as a dancer, he’s not one to tell you how he feels with words

- so when you get to your apartment, you unlock your door

- but before you can twist the door open

- he impulsively takes one of your wrists, pulls you close, and locks his lips with yours in a passionate kiss

- and you, unable to fight back the feelings you have for Soonyoung as well, kiss him back

- breathless, he pulls away from you afterwards and looks deeply into your eyes, your faces just a few inches apart

- having noticed you kissed him back, he asks

- “Is it safe to say that the feeling is mutual?”

- “why else do you think I agreed to dance with you?” you laugh

- he breaks out into a huge smile before pulling you in for another kiss

Well this blog originally started off as a side blog of my tumblr which was weather themed and about umbrellas so I was just going off the weather theme and moved to clouds. And I believe the way copyright works is that you don’t really need to register for it, you have it when you create something. Unless you want your work in the library of congress you can pay like $35 to get something copyrighted. As for starting, just start and keep drawing until you find something you’re comfortable with. Heck I still don’t really know what I’m doing! Good luck anon!!

Anon, that is the million dollar question because I also ask myself this question occasionally.....I don’t really know and I’m not trying to brush off this question I honestly don’t know! I look at my past work to now and its like...dang thats a weird progression haha I guess I just kept drawing? That’s all I did;;

With the way the internet is nowadays its kinda hard to feel solidarity when you get spammed like 24/7 so you just feel like you’re alone in your opinions. So I get what you mean, Anon, and you shouldn’t feel bad about having those opinions! Personally its complicated for me because I understand why Intellsys keeps bringing back Awakening and Fates and don’t get me wrong I love those games too and my favorite characters are from those games, but historically speaking, these games come from a long line of stories. Personally I feel that for me to appreciate fire emblem I have to understand its past and the journey it took to get to Fates like I want to know more about the characters we don’t see as much so I can love them too. So like it was funny because I was playing Sacred Stones and met Innes and thought ‘man, he’s kinda the type of character a lot of people would love if they knew about him’ and once he was released in FEH he really had a warm reception. It kinda seems like a lot of people love the newer games because thats their intro and they just need to venture to the past too to see that those games were really great too!

But to answer your question I do think Fates and Awakening get bias which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. If people really love these games, it’s great! And if some people don’t, that’s great too! But just know even if you don’t think they are as great as everyone says there isn’t any reason for you to feel bad about it. It’s your opinion you’re allowed to have them! There are a lot of people who share the same opinion as you too! They probably are being respectful because you know it’s always a bummer when everyones like YEA I LOVE THIS and then the one persons like NO I DON’T IT SUCKS and its like asking for argument and...the nature of the internet etc xD;;

TDLR; you shouldn’t feel bad, you’re opinions are as valid as theirs. Sorry for the essay!

No not at all! You know what, I’ve never thought about them but I’m all for it too! One thing is for sure they both are beautiful girls and they look good together. I feel like their dynamic is a little more quiet but it could be really interesting. ALSO I didn’t know what harmony was so I googled it and I thought it was a photo edit.
