this work is a spiritual successor to this meme redraw I did a year ago -> [LINK]<-.

Padme and Wrecker go undercover as farmer hands to investigate an abuse of the system created by the Senate to aid in growth less advanced planets that are part of the Republic . Padme, as she often does, wants to conduct her own investigation of the issue. Not being able to talk her out of it, in last ditch-effort to keep her safe, Anakin appoints Wrecker as the senator's bodyguard.

Upon getting to the work site, their new employer immediately assigned Wrecker to haul all the heaviest loads. Even though it wasn't too much for the sapper, the workload still left his body feeling stiff and sore.

Padme offers the clone commando some well earned relief... and, as it turns out, Padme is way better in this type of back massage than Wrecker's regular "masseur" - Crosshair.

Okay but do you think that when Ahsoka found out Padmé died she assumed Anakin had died trying to save her/avenge her because that’s what the Anakin she knew would have done for the woman he loved and that was pregnant with his child (because Ahsoka definitely knew about Anakin and Padmé?)

And since she hadn’t seen anything about Anakin she assumed he died in the process and the empire swiped it under the rug?

My thoughts on ‘The Tales of the Jedi’ (Clone Wars arc?) trailer:

The parallel between Ahsoka training and learning to defend herself against the clones so she can fight against shots in the war and then her using the exact same moves against the clones and defending herself during Order 66 because she knows how the clones fight already after spending literally years with them. This made me very emotional.

I was both glad and disappointed when they didn’t show Padme’s death and Anakin’s downfall in The Clone Wars. Glad because I was already an emotional wreck and that show was a rollercoaster and I knew I wasn’t prepared for those scenes and the character’s reactions. Disappointed because I actually DID want to see the reactions and maybe the final fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin. Although now we’re getting it (the funeral) in animation form I don’t know if I’m actually ready to see it yet.

The shot of Ahsoka and her hood covering her face also got me. We can’t see her reaction. My thought is she probably is tired of losing people already. She also thought to go the funeral in disguise and risked to see if anyone had survived Order 66. She also wanted to say goodbye to Padme seeing as she wasn’t able to when she died. More specifically Anakin, because she knew him and Padme were madly in love and he would never miss something this important.

As much as I think Ahsoka can handle herself and she is a total a badass she really was let down. In my eyes she was only just this 14 year old (barely a teen) child who was thrown into a war with hope that everyone will reach the other side. Instead she lost everyone. Anakin, her master and very close brother figure. Obi-Wan, a father figure and someone who she trusted and confided in because Anakin trusted him completely too. Padme, probably her first female friend who she looked up to in total admiration. Despite being accustomed to the grief and loss throughout her years in the war. She was still not ready for the Jedi and everyone she loved to fall so quickly through her grasp. She is finally sick and tired of what she’s been through.

The shot of Anakin and Obi-Wan standing by the window together, Padawan and Master, standing side by side as friends, brothers. The Padawan fails and lets his Master down by turning to the dark side. The second shot is different but also the same. While the positions are the same, in terms of Anakin, Obi-Wan is replaced. Anakin is still in the same place but this time he is the master and his Padawan is standing where Obi-Wan was. But this version is also different in the fact that the roles are turned around. It’s the Master that has failed his own Padawan by turning to the dark side.

Just finished reading "The Clone Wars: Wild Space" and holy kriff my heart was in my throat throught the book!

If you haven't read it and plan to beware of spoilers below

💙 First of all learned a new curse word, anyone know what "vape" is equivalent to?

💙 "How am I supposed to-how do I injure you with a lightsaber?" "Very..... carefully, Senator" that Kenobi sass, even when he's barely able to breathe.

💙 "Here. No point in making.... new holes" 😅

💙 The relationship between Obi Wan and Bail, from reluctant travel companions to friends was absolutely perfect! And gives good insight as yo how Obi Wan was so willing to let Bail raise Leia.

💙 Reading about Obi Wan having to relive all though moments of pain and hurt and suffering 😭😭

💙 Padme being ready to drop everything to go get them, the concern she has was just perfect.

💙 Anakin right away asking for Rex when he heard of his battle group!

💙 I just wanted to wrap Obi Wan in a blanket and give him some relaxing tea throughout it!

💙 Bail being stubborn as hell 😅

💙 Obi Wan doesn't drink? He raised Anakin, there is no way he could have done that by being sober 24/7

💙💙💙What got me the most was Obi Wan's realization that attachments were not all bad like her thought, admitting he loved Qui Gon and loves Anakin... the fact that they gave him the strength to keep going 😭😭💙
