What brought you to kindergarten? What's the experience like compared to your other grades?

The boring real answer is that I was brought to kindergarten because that was the job the school board assigned to me.

Kindergarten is so very different from all other grades. Firstly, the two year age span in the same class makes the spread of levels even more extreme than it is in a grade class. I literally have kids this year in the same class who can't hold a pencil and those who are reading more or less fluently.

And the spread in social abilities is even worse. Like, three year olds who are more or less still toddlers and kids who are almost six. It's wild.

Just had a fabulous virtual visit with two classes at a Primary school, talking to them about adopting a younger sibling, and reading my second book "Adopting a Little Brother or Sister." A parent asked me to do this so that her daughter's friends understand the adoption process a little and can support her and be excited with her while her family goes through the process to adopt a younger sibling. fcking adorable

where should I start?well first of all,sorry for not updating in so long, but since G isn't my teacher anymore I barely have the chance to see him.

between the last post and today I've only had a few encounters with him.i talked to him once for like 5 seconds but that's pretty much the most exciting part.even though there was one moment when he was walking up the stairs and we held very awkward eye contact(but that's a very weird & confusing story) But today i finally saw him for more than one minute. 15 to be exact. It wasn't a lot but nonetheless it was definitly the highlight of my day. he was presenting a seminar that he's offering at our school and he was so so adorable. The seminar focuses on superheroes and the science behind their powers and the way he talked about it was just adorable.He's definitly a big nerd and you could sense that he loves talking about this stuff.The way he got all excited made me wanna cuddle him and be all soft but let's not go into detail about that.

My friend told me afterwards that he was constantly staring at us but I'm not gonna get my hopes high for no reason.I really really miss his lessons and seeing his cute ass smile regularly. But anyways,since I should rather focus on my grades and not him,I'm not gonna take part in his seminar(even though I wish I could). So that means imma have to live with the crumbs of attention I'm getting from him. bye for now :)
