got home finally from teaching my little sis how to drive!!! we got to go up the city's worst hill which was an experience fhfngn and she went through a drive thru for the first time and through the park/beach.... I told her at the end that like. after all that on the fly driving up random roads she could handle any city street so she could pick a fun place to go next time :D

How do you tell someone who can’t take constructive criticism they’re a lost cause

#THIS SOUNDS MEAN THIS SOUNDS SO MEAN #but my dance partner for a routine in the musical I’m in can’t do this one dip right and it’s driving me crazy #I have spent SO MUCH time with her and taking so many different approaches to get it to work #and sometimes she’ll do it perfectly after I use a specific approach and then when we try the actual move it’s right back to where we starte #I know I shouldn’t expect someone with less experience to be at my level exactly—and I don’t— but man. this is just bad #and after each run she asks how she did and I have to explain every time that I am only paying attention to where she needs to go #and what I need to do to get her there along with my own steps bc I’m learning this for the first time too!! #if I was teaching that would be a very different story but I’m not so. bleh. #LC screams

#i can write essays! but this teacher drives me insane #because ik no matter what i do its not going to work #not a single person this year has written an essay thats gotten in the 90s in her class #i have an 89 on one and thats it. thats the highest. #we do everything she fucking tells us to do and its not good enough #on my last essay she went over it. and marked all the stuff she didnt like.
