I am pissed. As a teacher, I am pissed that the education system has so failed my students that one of them has a child at 15 because he believed a rumor that sucking on your own finger while cumming would prevent pregnancy. As a rape survivor and teacher, I am pissed that I had to talk a student down from suicidal thoughts because she was raped as a child and no one believed her, so she's never gotten help. As a woman, rape survivor, and teacher, I am pissed that my students are watching a man who has admitted to sexual assault on tape, whose only excuse was that it was "locker room talk," be a legitimate candidate for president. As a person, I am pissed that this is the world I live in, the world I am teaching your children about, the world we are creating. We can do better. We have to do better.
