I’m so overwhelmed by the House of the Dragon trailer and the photos and the theories and the new hair and the DRAGONS and UGH.

THE NEW DRAGONS!

Sunfyre!

Looking very similar to Syrax tbh ... I cannoot wait to see him in the sun. He's supposed to be so PRETTY.

Moondancer!

The mount of Baela Targaryen - bbys grown up! She looks a bit reptillian like in the face and we haven't really seen that in the other dragon designs and I'm here for it!

I'm not 100% sure but I think this is ...

Dreamfyre!

The mount of Helaena (and other Targaryens, Dreamfyre is very quite old). I hope she's more blue in the sunlight - oor maybe this is Vermithor??? What do you guys think?

THE NEW LOOKS!

Rhaenyra wearing her hair up seems to be the new look now. Out of her face, ready for battle, ready to take her rightful place.

Alicent doesn't seem to be wearing her more ... modest clothing. The last time we saw her, she was dressed with a large pendant of the Seven Point star (faith of the seven). To me, it feels like she's unravelling. Her faith seemed put on, and now her focus is entirely somewhere else.

Daemon back with the long hair; personally my favourite. Anyway, anyway, the trailer hinted at the battle between Aemond & Daemon... I have no idea how this is going to play out but I trust the creators.

THE NEW CHARACTERS!

These must be new members of his small council?

Jace going to the Starks for aid. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. I can't wait to see these interactions.

I really don't like this relationship. Mostly becaise I don't like Criston Cole. But I do think Criston has moved into a bit of a stepdad-like position for Alicent's children. Well, at least Aemond and Aegon. It's also insinuated that Alicent and Cole have a sexual relationship.

And look at my poor lovely Helaena, we know what's going to happen... I hope her story changes in some way. She deserves justice, and to have more screentime for the character. She's way more interesting to me than Aegon - he's so dry, boring, awful.

LOOK AT MY GIRLS, JUST LOOK AT THEM! Amongst the council, wearing the colours of their father's House. Baela & Rhaena are my sweet girls.

(can't believe all this is happening because rhaenyra & alicent were in love...)

you know if they didn't want us to root for the greens they shouldn't have 1) made all the members of team black both very boring and very stupid (or in daemon's case the most awful asshole to have ever lived in the kingdoms at this point in time) and 2) made all the members of team green desperately hot

If you'd asked Tango what the afterlife felt like a month ago, he'd have told you it felt cold. It felt like an explosion in your face, an arrow in your leg, and not a single person around you to mourn the casualty that was your final life.

If you'd asked him now..

Different. It's different.

Tango's hands brush up against long, swaying wheat; it's freshly grown. He doesn't know how he knows that, but he does.

As he looks up, he sees.. the ranch. Tall, meticulously crafted cobblestone walls. A shed on the side for the animals (he can still hear some cows mooing). A wooden path along the cliff. His house..

A grave for three.

The cobble feels cold on his fingers when he lays his hands on his tombstone. He could practically feel the pity of the person who crafted them. Just another grave for another loss.. Tango's blood boils when he realizes it's the same for Jimmy's, the canary's laying on the opposite side of the grave he made for the Warden. It feels like there's supposed to be a message there; something about a cemetery of failed attempts; but, if you ask him, he's a little too dead to care.

You could ask Tango a lot of things now, he really wouldn't care. All he's thinking is how stupid it was that he thought things would be different- how he thought he could make things different. For Jimmy.

His left hand comes up to his right, and he feels his ring finger, the thread tied upon it. While before it felt firm, a constant reminder of how the other end is tied to someone else, now it feels.. loose. Like somewhere along the line it had been cut, leaving Tango feeling, well.. a little cold, actually.

Tango turns towards his and Jimmy's house. He'd only lived there for a month, yet it felt more like a home than the bases on the other servers ever did. He reaches a hand up to the doorknob and—

"TANGO!"

It swings open, and he's tackled in a hug that sends them both tumbling to the ground; the grass tickles his ears a bit and they flick.

"J—Jimmy?"

Jimmy doesn't respond, only hugging him tighter for a moment before Tango taps his arm a few times in rapid succession. "Jimmy, Jimmy, babe, I can't breath."

Jimmy lets out a small gasp, sitting up in Tango's lap and cupping his face (his hands feel so, so warm). "Shit! I'm so sorry, Tango! Are you okay? Do you need me to get off you- what am I saying, of course I need to get off of you-"

"No!" Tango shouts, pushing himself up on an elbow and grabbing Jimmy's arm before he could move. He just.. didn't want to lose that warmth. "No, Jimmy, you're fine. Amazing, actually."

Nothing feels real. It feels like if Jimmy moves, everything will go cold again. He won't feel the sun on his skin, the warmth his smile carries, the blush rising up his neck onto his cheeks, dusting his face in pink. He needs to keep that warmth.

"So.." he breaks the quick silence, looking around at the ranch. In the distance he hears footsteps, some fire crackling, but he knows nobody will reach them here. "Uh.. We're dead, right? Where are we?"

Jimmy just smiles and laughs, soft and familiar, like an inside joke just to himself and Tango's heart seizes in his throat at that expression, so full of life and love as Jimmy takes Tango's hand in his own, squeezing them together for a minute as he chuckles a few times more, sighing in contentedness. "We're home, Tango."

"..Home?"

"Home."
