Had a dream last night about those Team Up Mission books from bnha.

Shouto and Sero were learning how to restrain villains through Fatgum.

It’s interesting because I do think that Fatgum is very much about capturing rather than fighting, he’s always getting straight to the point and makes his opponents give up by using his own mass rather than wasting his one good shot on a fight when he could be using it for something even more dangerous later. Especially considering that his fat is what protects him and enables him to do hero work to begin with. He’s been shown to be uncomfortable with the fact that he’s skinny because he can’t do much in that form. (At least I think he has? In vigilantes maybe??)

Also, Shouto has a lot of experience with getting the job done fast due to his internship with his father, and Sero seems to completely focus on incapacitating threats from the jump.

So basically, in my dream, there wasn’t a real plot to it. Just the two of them racing each other to catch villains first, but I thought it was really neat and would be an interesting dynamic to see those characters interact with Fatgum.

I might end up drawing or writing something for this eventually. Idk.

•While the fight between Pros and the students increased nezu thought it was the perfect time to sneak you away and lock himself in his own office to spend time with you long story short he announced how everyone including the Pros was punished the students had to get detection, the Teachers get no breaks and the pros the pros a suspension while nezu happy that gets to spend time with you until the quirk wears off safe to say that Nezu won

Worked on this on and off between commissions and getting back into art. The last year has been awful mentally and physically for me and my art suffered for it. I'm finding myself again and getting back to catching up on what I owe. But while doing so, I was pushing myself with trying to draw something I enjoy so I could love what I do again. So here this is, my Team Fatgum piece. If you know me, you know how important Fatgum is as a character for me and how much this team of characters brings me joy. This took so long to plan and even longer to draw because of my struggles and just wanting to do justice for the characters. I really hope you all like it and I do have it as a print for future shows.

Ngl, as fun as Aoyama & Hagakure's team up was; my main takeaway from the Kunieda fight it that it’s super embarrassing for the pros that Kunieda lasted this long. Maybe the pros' biggest embarrassment in this whole war; and I say that knowing just how many disaster resolutions have been carried by children today. Like I know there wasn’t a massive crowd of heroes for this one but really? They’ve captured literally everyone else, including other Tartarus hitmen & the best the PLF has, but this guy lasted until the very end? Longer than Dabi & Toga*? How? Fatgum turned out to be a bad match-up; but it wasn't just him, Aoyama, & Hagakure right?

And I do mean everyone else too; there was a point in this war where all the villainous mobs and extras had been detained and (depending on when the fight to free Machia was relative to everything from Kurogiri's release to his rescue of Aizawa) there were 6~9 villains left, and apparently they went down or stopped being problems in this order:

6. Gigantomachia

5. Dabi

4. Toga Himiko

3. Kunieda

2. AFO (probably)

1. Shigaraki Tomura (probably)

One of these is not like the others.

*Edit: it has been pointed out how I forgot how much we're jumping through time these past few chapters and that this fight is happening simultaneously with Dabi & Toga's fights. Granted, the pacing with AFO seems slower than with Dabi (what with everyone taking time to diss each other more) so he might already be down; but Toga definitely out-lasted Kunieda. So a revised (though still weird) list looks something like:

The size of the now small hole was left a missing wall at this point. Dust surrounding you forced a harsh cough from your lungs. Quickly grabbing the attention of the villain.

🍑 Fatgums eyes widened as he saw you trying to hide behind the remains of the front desk of your business. Everyone was supposed to have been evacuated. How were you still here?

🍑Shaking it off, his intense gaze focuses on the villain. Before you could blink, the large hero had dived over the man completely engulfing him with his quirk. The villains arms helplessly waved out as he was swolled hole.

🍑After that day, he found himself checking in in you. He'd profusely apologize about the wall while simultaneously scolding you for not following orders to leave the area. You explained you'd recently broken your phone and had been cleaning with your headphones in. There was no warning for you.

🍑He felt the obligation to look after you, seeing as how oblivious you could be. He'd find himself inviting you out day by day.

🍑It happened during the stat festival. He stared at you with bright eyes, full of joy. A chuckle leaves your lips, and his heart does flips. Before he could stop himself, he asked.

🍑His words flowed smoothly, as they usually did when he became serious. A large hand light drags along your jawline as you both share a gaze. "I'm not sure how to ask this, but I'd be honored to have you as mine.."

🍑His face was burning a deep crimson as his eyes flickered away sheepishly. His heart roared behind his chest as his shaking hand did their best to steady along your jaw.

🍑A timid smile tugs at the corner of your lips as you playfully reach out to him. Your hand cradles something. A gift for him.

🍑He nervously reaches down, holding his palm up to you. There, you sit a small piece of candy. It's the same brand he'd first given you the day you met.

🍑His hand classes over the candy as he gives you a toothy grin. "I'll do all I can for you, sweetheart! I promise."

🔫He headed to the swing, a cigarette loosely hung from his lips as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. His fingers play with the lighter that sat inside his pants.

🔫That's when he noticed something. A figure with their back facing him, sitting on his swing. A soft voice hummed out from them, pulling the man in. Curiously, he listened, crossing both arms over his chest to help him relax.

🔫 Whatever spell you had him under was working. He'd come back every other night to find you there. Singing the same song to yourself. He couldn't stop himself from sitting beside you tonight. Silently, he listened as you continued.

🔫Over a year had passed of you both enjoying one anothers company in the late night. He'd even asked you to go places with him after a few months of this ritual.

🔫Rei had become infatuated with you and the peace you brought him. Pretty soon, he had realized he'd fallen deep. Worry laced his eyes as his usually aloof demeanor flakes away. Fear, for a moment, flashes behind his orbs.

🔫He let his guard down. With a small sigh of relief he gave in, wrapping his beds blanket tightly around you both. It wasn't unusual for him to do this, so you responded just as you always did. You snuggled against the crook of his neck as he ran circles along your spine.

🔫 "I think you already know what I want to ask you." Was all he managed to say as his smooth voice lulled you into a safe haven. You smiled against his neck before allowing your eyes to slip shut.

🔫You sat still, finally feeling the wave of relief hit you as he let himself feel. You responded simply by humming, as you did often during moments like these. New feelings, experienced for the first time. It had to be slow. Words weren't needed. Only feelings. For the both of you had beaten down hearts. He knew to take this as acceptance. With that, he placed a small kiss on top of your head as he held you against him.

🔫You will never be hurt. Not anymore. Not if he can help it.

Dabi wasn’t ever the white picket fence type.

Didn’t see himself falling in love and being somebody’s white knight, that just wasn’t him. He was happy to ride and travel for Fatgum Rodeo’s team until his body couldn’t take it anymore. He was happy alone.

Or at least he thought he was.

But that was before he met you. He never realized how big the hole in his heart was until you were there, filling in the cracks with your love. He hadn’t been able to see it. Didn’t recognize how much he needed you until he had you, feeling happiest when you were in his arms. No, that wasn’t right. He felt the most complete when you were in his arms.

He never imagined he’d be settling down in his hometown. He never knew that one day he’d be setting down roots in that big ranch house that had been for sale since he was a kid but there he was, bringing you home on your wedding night, making love and eventually sleeping on an air mattress on the floor cause the furniture was late. Falling asleep that night with you in his arms, he realized he’d found what he never knew he always wanted.

He definitely never saw himself singing lullabies in the middle of the night, his daughter cradled in his arms, eyes that reflected his own staring back at him. He didn’t think he could love any harder after meeting you, but he knows he was wrong yet again. He’s amazed that he helped create something so sweet, so innocent, so beautiful, watching in awe as tiny fingers wrap around his index finger even as those wide eyes drift shut.  

He knows down the hall you’re asleep, peacefully waiting for him to return, but in the quiet of the night, watching his daughters tiny chest rise and fall as she sleeps, he can’t bring himself to get out of that rocking chair. She’s completely stolen every bit of his heart. He knows she won’t be this little forever, knows that he has to soak it up as much as he possibly can. (At least until he can convince you she needs a sibling.)

Everytime he thinks he’s complete, you bring a new light into his life and fill his heart so much he thinks he might die. But he doesn’t mind. It’s better than the emptiness from before. And now, as he sets his daughter in her crib, he recognizes that yet again, he’s holding what he never knew he always wanted.

He’s quiet when he returns to your bed, but you stir anyways, turning towards him, your hair a tangled mess beneath your cheek, and a thin line of drool leaking out the corner of your mouth. He chuckles, wiping away your spit with his thumb and in your sleep, you give a soft sigh and a smile that makes his heart stop.

He’s gentle as he pulls you closer to him, and your hand automatically falls onto his chest, right above his heart and he sighs, content as he presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, his eyes drifting shut as he reflects on how he got here and muses that maybe, just maybe, life has a way of showing you what you need.

An Easy Night - Tamaki Amajiki

A/N: For some reason I received the intense urge to put the names of every character I’ve written for in a spin-the-wheel to try and write for everyone at least once (with the exception of Kou and Tony Padilla). Let’s see if I stick with it!

    You were a third year at UA High, enjoying your hero studies under the supervision of Fatgum. Sure, it was a perk that your boyfriend Amajiki was with you, but you genuinely enjoyed spending time with Kirishima and Fatgum too! The four of you got along really well and you couldn’t ask for a better group to work with.

    Unfortunately, you had driven yourself into the ground by the end of the day. You stayed up late the night before to finish up an essay and to study for a calculus exam you had that day. You got maybe 4 hours of sleep? You weren’t quite sure. Then there was the pop ‘quiz’ in combat training where your teacher had everyone fight to their greatest potential for extended periods of time. Needless to say, several students ended up with Recovery Girl.

    You were already on the verge of collapsing when you arrived with Amajiki and Kirishima at the agency but you persevered. At one point during rounds with Fatgum he offered to give you a ride in the ‘Fattaxi’ but you politely declined. Somehow, perhaps maybe because of a miracle, you survived patrol with your team and made it back to the dorms in one piece. 

    Poor Amajiki thought you were going to collapse when you finally made it back to your dorm. You nearly kneeled over when you first entered the main door. He wrapped an arm around you to help you up to your room.

    “You should get some rest,” he said quietly. His worried eyes met your e/c ones. “You look exhausted.”

    You shook your head. “I need to shower, change, and then do homework.”

    “Tomorrow’s Saturday,” Amajiki reminded you, helping you lower yourself to sit on the edge of your bed. “You’ll have the whole weekend to work.” When you ignored him and gathered clothes to change into, he sighed. “Alright. Well, I’m going to shower as well. I’ll come back here when I’m done.”

    You beat him out of the shower, and when Amajiki made it back to your room, he froze in fear. You were hovering over your desk, not moving. It spooked him at first, then he stepped into your room. “Y/N, I told you to rest,” he scowled lightly. “You need it.”

    “I’m not working,” you responded. “I just got dizzy. I took a hot shower and my blood pressure dropped so I’m light-headed. I just need to sit for a sec.”

    Amajiki sighed. “Let’s get you to bed.” He helped you stand slowly and walked you the short distance to your bed. He helped you lay down. Then tucked your weighted blanket he got you around you. He handed you your comfort stuffed animal and pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head. “I’ll be back, honey.”

    He returned a moment later with a water bottle in hand. “Here,” he held it up to you. “This should help with the dizziness.” Amajiki looked away, face heating up. “May I join you?”

    You giggled in amusement, taking a sip of the water. “Come here, Amajiki.”

    The shy boy wouldn’t make eye contact with you until he got under the blanket and you slid your way under his arm to rest your head on his chest. You sighed in content.

    “Thank you, Amajiki,” you said with a yawn. You were so worn out. “This is nice.”

    “I-i-i-it’s nothing,” your boyfriend stuttered. “Anything to make you com-com-comfortable, honey.”

    You were asleep before the words finished leaving his mouth.
