Do you have any hopes/predictions for RWBY's Vacuo arc?

New character outfits. As expected for every new 3 volumes. Hopefully they get creative with the character designs, as Vacuo calls for looser or even lesser clothing.

SSSN & CFVY return, it only makes sense that since we got Roman Holiday references in Volume 9, I think team SSSN & CFVY should make their grand returns with new outfits and nice references to their respective books. Nothing too crazy but I want these guys to have the spotlight they deserve as they are fan favorites and haven’t been seen since the Beacon arc. I especially want to see more characterization of Sun & Neptune and within the teams in general. I also want them to have at least one like amazing ass fight. I want to see crazy combos and Sun with like multiple clones or something.

Jaune & Ruby to get better fight scenes. Volume 9 pushed them in the right direction & the Justice League movies showcased how Ruby SHOULD fight. I need them to continue this momentum into the series proper and give us good quality full length Ruby & Jaune fights. Like I want them to have the treatment Weiss, Blake, & Yang had in Volume 9. Especially since they are both in their newborn states.

Ruby’s arc to continue. She just started the path of healing and now I want her to journey through relighting that spark that was her ultimate strength. I want her teammates to really show that they’re there for her. I want at least one individual heart to heart with each member, specially Weiss. I really need to see the relationship between Ruby and Weiss develop.

Weiss angst. She had snippets in Volume 9 & the movies, but clearly Ruby wasn’t the only one going through it. I want Weiss to showcase feelings of guilt about her dad, Ironwood, the events of Atlas, the events of the void, not being there for Ruby, etc. With her family & friends, she could learn to grow as a person and get stronger in the process.

Vacuo headmaster. I heard of him in the books but I need to see this guy in action.

Summer Rose. We’ve been playing the mystery card for 11 years now. It’s time to actually show us what happened between her and Salem, and see why Raven fears her so much.

Somewhere out at sea an Express Cruiser the Valean Fishing Vessel "The Raging Sloth" lazily rides the waves

Ren: *Behind the wheel, a bicorn on his head, humming a sea shanty to himself* This is nice.

Jaune: *Watching over a set of heavy duty fishing poles* Thanks for reminding to take my motion-sickness meds, guys. I almost forgot them in the excitement.

Sun: *Sitting on a deck chair, brewski in hand* Hey, no problem my guy. We all got a little excited.

Neptune: *A face on a Wide-Scroll that's hanging from the cabin wall.* Yeah, weird how that happens.

Sage: *Standing with Jaune, minding the poles* Still, it's great to just be away from everything for a bit. Just us, the water, the fishing poles...

Scarlet: *On the upper level of the boat* A large boat approaching fast!

Sage: And large boats approaching fast... Wait what?

A larger vessel is making a beeline for the Raging Sloth. Before long it pulls up beside them.

Sun: We should... should we be worried?

Jaune: *Sharing a look with Ren, who slowly nods* Yes. Yes, we should probably be worried.

????: ~Ahoy, Boyos!~

Jaune: Not probably... Definitely.

Yang: *Standing on the deck of the larger vessel (The Dolphin Puncher) in swimming trunks and a most flattering bikini-top, a straw hat sits on top of her wild blonde locks* You guys thought you could just go out to sea and NOT invite me?! A Patch-girl born and raised? I was fishing long before I started punching! And I started doing that before I could properly walk.

Jaune: *Trying to find a way out, looking at the rest of the guys* Well... it might...

Ren: *Placed his bicorn on top of Jaune's head, has fled deep into the boat's cabin*

Sun: *Finding the fishing poles very interesting*

Scarlet: *Minding his business up top*

Sage: *Joined Scarlet*

Neptune: *Disconnected Scroll call*

Jaune: Traitors. It might have slipped our minds our little. Say... who's also there with you?

Nora: *Sickeningly sweet tone, in a cute pink one-piece with frills* ~Oh, Renny.~ That tub of yours better have a captain's cabin.

Ren: *Muffled noises of a barricade being erected*

Blake: *Already on The Raging Sloth, wearing a form-fitting diving suit with the front zipped down, she's watching the fishing poles with Sun* These waters are renowned for their tuna. I was never not going to join because of that.

Ruby: *In swimming trunks, Menagerie-patterned shirt and a Patch Strikers Cap* Our dad's got the local record for most fish and biggest fish caught back home. Imma gonna get those international prices, buddy!

Jaune: Well, it's lovely of you to be here, I guess. Uhm. Where's Pyrrha?

Yang: Oh yeah... she's hyping herself up.

Jaune: What's that supposed... to... *Sees the last person appearing next to Yang*

Pyrrha: *In a red and green patterned bikini that accentuates each and every curve of her perfectly toned body, her brilliant long red hair freely cascading down her back, has a shy but radiant smile as she greets Jaune* Hello, again.

Jaune: *Blinks once, twice* Oh... Hello to you too.

Yang: Alright, dumb stuff out of the way. Let's get to business!

Various noises of various levels of excitement rang out that day.

No-one was allowed, nor had the intention of entering the captain's quarters. The noises scared everyone, but Ren was congratulated afterwards by all the guys on board.

Sun caught the biggest tuna, it was lost to the greedy, hungry belly of one Blake Belladonna who "Regrets nothing!".

Ruby caught the biggest tuna that the rest managed to keep Blake away from.

Weiss did not catch a sunburn, surprising everyone including herself.

Jaune did not get motion-sick, also surprising everyone.

Pyrrha finally got her hands on her knight. The knight is still somewhat confused but happier than ever.

Scarlet: *savagely uppercuts Jaune*

Jaune: *head snaps back*

Neptune: *slams Jaune right between the legs*

Sage: *hammers Jaune from behind*

Jaune: *sprawls on his face*

Jaune: Okay, I-

Sun: *hits Jaune and flattens him*

Team SSSN: *beating Jaune’s body with thick sticks*

Jaune: 😵

Team SSSN: *pummel Jaune’s unmoving body for five straight minutes before stopping*

Scarlet: *panting* …do you think we should stop?

Sage: *leaning against his stick* …He said not to stop until he said “stop.”

Neptune: Did…did any of you guys hear “stop?”

Team SSSN: *exchange glances*

Scarlet: …well…he was whining for a little bit…?

Sun: *stretches his back* Well…do you think whining was the signal…?

Team SSSN: …

Scarlet: *winds up and whacks Jaune with a grunt*

Sun: Woah, hey! Maybe we should-

Neptune: Hi-YAH!! *hits Jaune’s unmoving body*

Sun: GUYS!! Wait a min-

Sage: *joins in whacking*

Sun: …uuuggghhhh…oh, well…

Sun: *starts whacking too*

Team SSSN: *furiously pound Jaune’s body for ten more unbroken minutes*

Jaune: 😵

Team SSSN: *pause to catch their breath*

Neptune: *bent over, gasping* …oh…wait…he did say that thing…about dramatically throwing us off his body!

SSS_: Oh, right!

Team SSSN: *dogpile on Jaune’s unconscious form*

Sun: …okay, Jaune…!

Sun: …throw us off!

Jaune: 😵

Team SSSN: …

Neptune: …Uh-oh…

Sage: …we’d better get out of here!

Scarlet: I hope my mom doesn’t find out about this…!

Team SSSN: *slowly and carefully get off Jaune and sneak away*

Pyrrha properly unlocked his aura the next day, and later went on to kick Papa Arc in the crotch for giving such horrible advice!
