So, I’ve tried my best to colour this scene and I edited it a little. I don’t know why, but some website pages are mirroring the manga to be read left-to-right (I almost forgot it can be read this way!) 

I know, Goku’s eyes look weird. (now that I uploaded it, I can totally see it..

But what hit me the most at this panel was how surprised Vegeta is that he was revived, like he didn’t expect to be acknowledged and has always seen himself as a bad guy. Even Goku (even though he says “some people”) doesn’t look like it’s obvious that Vegeta deserves to be treated kindly.

I’d like to think this, but I’m not sure if anything else could actually get this personal within a single fandom. Fandom VS Fandom maybe, like people arguing which is better between One Piece, Naruto and Bleach (which btw is not a real argument One Piece is factually leagues better, I guarantee you this), but I can’t really think of any other aspect about a single show that you can universally get as competitive about as shipping. Like if a show has power levels then those can cause some pretty stupid debates but even then they’re more evidence than feeling based, and you don’t label yourself based on your opinions (I mean maybe some people are like #TeamVegeta or whatever but that’s not common enough to be an issue). That belonging to a group mentality just makes shipping that much worse. So basically, romance was a mistake.  Or maybe people would fight over which characters are the bestest of best friends.  Human relationships were a mistake.
