teashopassistant!geto was first introduced to the art of brewing tea through his grandmother. whenever he went to visit her shop, she would always invite him into the kitchen to brew some tea. at first, he didn’t see the purpose of being so meticulous when making tea. but as he got older, he realized how important the preciseness is to get the best brew.

as his grandmother got older, teashopassistant!geto took the liberty of running his grandmother's shop. she couldn’t move as quickly as she used to, but she still needed the assistance. and he was quick to jump up to the plate.

it took teashopassistant!geto a while to adjust to helping his grandmother run the shop. there were so many things she did behind the scenes that made him wonder how she ran this shop all by herself. for instance, he didn’t realize his grandmother made her own tea brews. from planting to drying to mixing so the flavors can complement one another.

but after some months of being in her shadow, teashopassistant!geto finally got the hang of the shop, sometimes running it all on his own while his grandmother would take some self care days, which she deserved.

he grew to be a familiar face in the shop, the customers happy to see the raven haired man behind the counter with the kindest smile before they asked for their usual.

not only were the new customers coming back bro visit teashopassistant!geto, but new customers started to come in as well to simply gawk at him. as well as get some of the best tea in town, but mainly gawk.

.. bonus !

when his grandmother finally passed down the shop to him, gracing him to be the official owner, teashopowner!geto wanted to do a makeover to the shop. the first thing he wanted to change was the tea cups and teapots. he loved his grandmothers, but he wanted to have a personal touch that solidified him being the new owner. so, geto took himself to the closest pottery studio he could find and made sets of teapots and matching tea cups.
