Droidia Industries, more commonly known as DroidiaLife was a huge company specializing in androids and cyber beings. What people didn't know was that for the past twenty years, Droidia Industries had been working on a new kind of android. Actual Humans were conditioned from birth to think like robots, act like them, and process the world around them as androids would.

Tecna had been the very first Driodian ever. Both her parents, Electrio and Diona, along with ten other engineers, had founded Droidia Industries. Using their own daughter hadn't been an easy choice. However, the results were astonishing. Tecna could basically think like a computer, if not better. What her parents had not planned were her magical abilities. She was seven when she first showed signs of magic, ten when she was able to fly, and twelve when she transformed for the first time.

Their daughter was the proof that technology and humanity could be one.

However, they had failed one thing. Tecna could think like a computer. She was smart, ad yet, she was emotionless.

The only emotions she had ever displayed when mechanical, and robotic. She struggled to understand the most basic human feelings, let alone the most complex ones.

Meeting the Winx had changed her. She was used to living with a group but never had she lived with actual human beings. Now she was living with five fairies. And none of them were like her. They all had emotions. They all expressed their feelings in different ways. Their emotions were loud and clear. At first, Tecna struggled for many weeks. She would get headaches right after breakfast. She feared the cafeteria and the corridors. So many noises. Too much chaos. How could people be so loud? She did not understand how they functioned.

Two years later, she managed to adapt to her surrounding. She adapted well to her friends. Now, she had to face the most complex and brain-shattering emotion ever... Love. From what she knew? love was just an emotion secreted by the brain. So how was it possible that her heart squeezed every time she saw Timmy? How was he so brilliant while being completely human? That... That she couldn't understand. At first, she thought the boy had lied all along. He had to be a droidian too! His parents probably worked as engineers like hers, right? But no, Timmy's parents were not engineers. His father was a handyman and his mother was a healer. How was this possible?

No Tecna did not understand love.

Hey! Hope you enjoyed this one! It's short I know. It's just a small character-building because Tecna really needs one. I don't like what Rainbow has told us about her. It's so weak and plain. So I decided to use the original pilot "Magical Bloom" and a bit of my imagination.

last movie: my family and I had a movie marathon last weekend where we re-watched Dhoom 2 (the superior Dhoom movie), watched Hungama 2 for the very first time (I’ve seen worse sequels/reboots) and I finally got everyone to watch Uncharted (please keep in mind that this would’ve been my 4th time watching the movie, I LOVE THIS MOVIE)

currently reading: more than I should Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett (I’m a little more than halfway done, it’s a fun time but I’m also more stressed than I probably should because I’m just dramatic like that), Neon Gods by Katee Roberts (I have so many conflicted feelings about this book and I don’t know if I want to actually finish it), Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthrust (I just started reading it because I need a break from the two books that I just mentioned) and King of Fools by Amanda Foody (because I missed the world of The Shadow Game and thought it was time to finally continue reading the trilogy, I only have a few chapters left)

currently watching: most tellywood shows that are currently on air (also, the entirety of KSBKBT is currently available and idk if I should watch before it goes away because do I really need that in my life rn??) 

currently consuming: noting atm because I’m fasting for Ramadan

currently craving: food, because I’m fasting for Ramadan... wait, could water also count as a craving because if so, water over food

SunshinewithHurricane on ff.net asked for anything with Tecna/Timmy so I went with a shoulder rub

“Something wrong with your back?” Tecna asked when Timmy shifted beside her for the umpteenth time.

They’d been at their computers for hours, trying to work out a way to upgrade the ship so it could better handle inter-dimensional space travel.  Timmy sighed and rolled his neck a little, lifting his shoulders up and down.

“My shoulders actually,” he said on an exhale before attempting to reach around to press into the aching spot between his shoulder blades.

Tecna hummed sympathetically.  “Understandable,” she said.  “We’ve probably been sitting down too long.  You know, most healing professionals recommend a short break every hour during which you should stand from your desk and stretch out.”

“I don’t suppose taking a break now would work,” Timmy said, a touch of self-deprecation in his voice as he leaned back in his chair.

“Unfortunately not,” Tecna replied, before getting to her feet and making her way to stand behind him.  “But this might.”

Timmy jumped a little when her hands settled on his shoulders.

“You’re very stiff,” Tecna noted with a frown, as she slowly started to manipulate his muscles with her hands.

“Uh, yeah, I guess,” Timmy said, making an effort to relax under her touch.  It wasn’t unpleasant, far from it actually, but his and Tecna’s friendship had never been characterised by such casual touch like this and this was far from within his usual area of comfort.  “You’re giving me a massage?”

“Purely for therapeutic purposes,” Tecna said neutrally after a long pause.

“Right, right,” Timmy said before biting back a noise of bliss as Tecna worked a knot out of his shoulder.  “You’re pretty good at this, you know?”

“Thank you,” Tecna said, smiling even though Timmy couldn’t see it.  “Are your shoulders feeling a little better?”

“Yeah,” Timmy said, rolling his neck again with more ease this time.  “Much better.”

“I’m glad,” Tecna said, but she didn’t immediately pull her hands away and neither did Timmy move away.

Timmy twisted in his seat to glance up at Tecna, and her fingers tapped out a nervous rhythm on his shoulder.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome, Timmy.  Anytime.”

And feeling bolder than he usually might, Timmy swallowed roughly and said, “And if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, I’d be happy to return the favour.”

And Tecna sounded a little breathless as she replied, “I might just take you up on that.”

This was supposed to be an art for Valentine’s Day but I’ve been losing track of my days so I started it on the day but didn’t get it done until now. It took legit DAYS to perfect this. I wanted to try something new with shading and outlining. This takes place on the ride home from the Winx and Specialists’ mission to rescue Tecna from the Omega Dimension. I have been meaning to do this piece for a while but life happened. Damn, if you don’t shed a tear looking at this, you are truly heartless. Timmy is so grateful that Tecna is safe that he’s crying in happiness. And I wanted to make it clear that Tecna is warming up in his cape. I was inspired by @bungers.exe ‘s TecnaxTimmy piece. L

“What are you doing?”

Timmy always loved the little crease that appeared between Tecna’s eyebrows whenever she was baffled by something, but this time instead of smiling he schooled his expression into polite confusion as Tecna frowned down at their joined hands.

“Holding your hand.”

Tecna’s frown deepened as her eyes flicked between his face and her hands.  Still Timmy didn’t crack as Tecna asked, “Why?”

“Because I wanted to.  Besides, it’s what couples do.”

“We’ve never done it before,” she pointed out, even as she looked at the rest of their friends hanging out in the dorm.

Indeed she could see Musa ranting to Riven about something as she gestured with their joined hands, Stella and Brandon were sitting and talking quietly with their hands linked and resting on his thigh, and Bloom was hunched over Sky’s hand in her lap, pen in hand as she drew something on the back of his palm.

“It’s impractical,” Tecna said finally, though Timmy couldn’t help but notice that she hadn’t pulled away yet.  In fact she squeezed his hand a little tighter.  “How am I supposed to get anything done when I can’t use one of my hands?”

“We don’t have to if you don’t want to,” Timmy said simply, starting to pull his hand away, but Tecna clung to it tighter.

“No,” she said, not looking at him.  “It’s fine.  I’m just saying for the record, no matter how nice it feels, it’s still impractical.”

Timmy smiled, his thumb stroking the back of her hand, and said, “Noted.”

can you pls rank the six canon winx couples from favorite to least favorite and why you like/dislike them?

1. Favourite: Musa and Riven: They've always been my ship. They also happen to be my favourite characters. I'm a sucker for the tough guy with a secret softness, and I do love the drama to a certain extent. They have the potential to me a great couple if they weren't constantly given bs drama. I think their potential and being able to imagine what they could be is a big part of why I love them so much.

2. Stella and Brandon: They're gorgeous, fun, loving, cute, and accepting of each other's faults. Really, just all around absolutely perfect for each other. What's not to love about Brella? This is what every relationship should strive to be.

3. Tecna and Timmy: Precious and wholesome and seriously underrated. I mean, come on, Timmy not giving up when she was in the Omega Dimension!!! You don't get cuter than that.

4. Aisha and Nabu: I love that they understood each other so well. I can't really explain why, I just love them together. They would be tied for 3rd with TecnaxTimmy but I'm not a big fan of their relationship starting with Nabu lying about his identity.

5. Flora and Helia: I genuinely like Flora and Helia. They're both super sweet characters and they're very cute together, but they're just a tad... boring.

6. Least favourite: Bloom and Sky: Sky is... Ugh. As Louise from Bob's Burgers said: "if [he] were a spice, [he]'d be flour." Bloom was great in S1 and S2, but they started to ruin her a bit in S3 and then completely trashed her after that, rendering her unlikable imo. They could be a compelling couple if well done, but I dislike the characters individually too much to care for them as a couple.

I'd also like to point out for arguments sake that there are 7 canon couples if you include Aisha and Nex, who would be at the very bottom of the list cause fuck Nex.
