I love the fact that Show Stopping Number is included in Inevitable. Because when Hidgens first sang it, he was still totally human, which means that Pokey liked the song so much he was like "Yeah you know what I'm gonna get this in there, it was a banger and it will definitely make Emma lose her mind!" and I love him for that.

This song aka ways brings up memories of the summer I worked stage at the Inner city cultural center in Los Angeles. I was working on a musical by Ted Lange of the Love Boat fame. I think I was 14 ish.
My summer was - wake up at noon, go to the beach, come home watch tv, get cleaned up and my friends mom is would pick me up and drive me to the theater. Show would be over around 10:30 pm. Sometimes there would be an after party.
This is where this song comes in. It was very popular that year. They played this song a lot. When I hear this song I think of Ted Lange and the members of the cast boogieing down together and having a great time and vaguely wondering whether I should even be there given I was a 14 year old white girl in a room full of mostly black adults.
White people did not dance that way. Or at least none of the ones I knew did.
Sometimes I wonder why my parents let me do some of the things I did. I guess they trusted me, or trusted my friend’s mom.
Regardless- it was a great summer. Perfect
It is stories like these that make my son think I’m making things up. Lol.

Honestly, kudos to Mariah for being able to deliver her lines so smoothly while Joey was jumping around shirtless and barking in one panel and Jon was leaning over Nick's microphone and meowing at her in another

Knowing “Nerdy Prudes Must Die” was the first idea the Lang brothers had for Hatchetfield makes the whole series so much funnier.
Like, did they know in “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals” that the weirdo who demanded a hot chocolate would be the leading man of the high school horror show?
Did they know the prude they mentioned a few times would be a homophobic murderer who defiled a corpse, fucked a ghost, and became a vessel for dark lords?
Was the homeless man joke in BEFORE the recast because they were still brothers, or not?
