How come on Nickelodeon, Carly and Tori got to publicly expose and dump the boy that cheated on them but on Good Luck Charlie, Teddy and Skylar not only don’t release their song exposing Spencer for cheating on them but Teddy actually ends up with Spencer when there was a MUCH better (non-cheaty) option?

not only did they force spencer to cheat on teddy at the beginning of the relationship just to get them back together, they decided to make him even more pathetic when he behaved like a child, pressured teddy and rushed her with a choice, so that she would not have time to think about why she shouldn't to return to him. i know that his phrase "i was the first" was a comedic detente, but it infuriated me even more.

Gabe Trying to Sneak You In

"The coast is clear. Come on. Hurry up!" He whisper yelled to me. I enter the house as fast as I can, without making a sound.

"Hey, Teddy, have you seen-" I hear Mrs. Duncan, say before seeing Gabe looking highly suspicious. "Gabe, honey? Why crouched down like that?" Amy said folding her arm, like an angry teacher, all she needed was some foot tapping.

"I was, uh, looking..for..my..." He reaches for Teddy's textbooks. "..Textbook?" He said as I mentally face palmed. He really thought that THAT was believable. "Yeah, you are learning Calculus, at you're grade level? Yeah, I don't think so." His mom said grabbing the textbook and handing it to Teddy.

"Now, care to explain why you're actually, sneaking around?" She said, as I just felt the sudden urge to sneeze, and I did. It wasn't one of those cute ones, it was one that dads make, but less powerful. Gabe tried to play it off like it was him, but she obviously wasn't going to buy that.

She looked around and saw me crouched, behind the left arm of the couch they had in there living room. "Hi.." I say nervously standing up, and stand closer to Gabe. "Hi. Gabe? Who is this?" He hesitates shifting from one foot to the other, never has he been this nervous to do anything.

"This is (Y/N). My..." He hesitated once more before blurting out, the word 'girlfriend.' "I was sneaking her inside so we could hang out, but looks like that plan was a bust." He turns to me, with guilt in his eyes. "It's okay, Gabe. I'm glad, that they now know, I'm your girlfriend." I held, his hand my own. "And it was cute watching you try, to get past them, whilst stumbling over your words."

He rolls his eyes and turns a light shade of pink, as I kiss him on the cheek, telling him to call me, and says 'goodbye,' before leaving.
