So you very excitedly hopped off the couch, making him look over and tilt his head. Since when did a cat get inside? Hoyt ain’t gonna like that…

But then suddenly the cat turned into a human! You to be exact!

Right when you were shifting back you jumped into Tommy’s arms (thankfully he caught you, but of course he would! Boy that man is STRONG!)

“Hi Tommy! How are you? Are you busy? We should nap together!” You quickly said.

Tommy’s heart beat quickened, shocked from your sudden appearance. He just stared at you confused. What are you? Please explain it to him.

But once you explain to him that you are a shapeshifter, what that is, and how you don’t know how or why you are what you are, he is much calmer. He thinks it’s unique! Just please don’t scare him again Y/n.

Yes he will take a nap with you. And if you shift into an animal he will happily stroke your fur. But only if you’re okay with that!

He would be so clueless as to why there was another dog, it would be hard for you not to immediately shift back and burst out laughing. So instead you jump on top of him, knocking him onto his back and licking a stripe up his face.

He would push you off (not aggressively. Bo is a murderer. Not a monster with animals) and wipe his face. And when he looked back up he was very confused as to why he was seeing you, sitting on your ass in front of him.

“Where’d the dog go?” And you’d just mischievously giggle before turning back into the dog and rubbing away with Jonesy.

Man. Was. Speechless.

You have a lot of explaining to do when he finds you.

And you do explain! Bo wouldn’t believe you if he hadn’t seen what happened in that garage. He is extremely confused but it doesn’t change his opinion on you! You’re his everything and whatever this thing you can do is isn’t going to piss him off… unless you steal his hat. Which, yes, you have done.

Vincent Sinclair

You sir Vincent down one day and explain your ability to him. You thought it would be better to do that then to scare him and have him unknowingly turn you into a wax figure.

He would listen carefully, nodding along, asking a few questions here and there. Then finally you show him.

You shifted into a bunny and sat on his lap. His body stiffened, unsure of what to do. But then you nudged your head into his hand, and he got the message.

He lightly stroked your soft brown fur. It seemed to calm him down? Maybe you should have shown him this a while ago.

And so now whenever Vincent is stressed, upset, or overall just needs some comfort, you will first offer him comfort as a human. But sometimes he just needs a break from humans. So then that’s when you shift into an animal and snuggle up on his chest, allowing him to stroke/pet you.

And of course he will make art of you. He’s always loved to make art of animals, and now he can have a reference up close that won’t kill him!

Bo did freak out however when he saw his twin snuggling with a lion on the couch one day though-

And that was how you and real Brahms met!

Brahms made a new rule. ‘No shape shifting in the house!’ This then also changed the rule of Brahms not being aloud out of the house. Because he wanted to watch you do your thing outside!

The only exception to the rule is if he wants cuddles. And that needy little brat wants them a lot.

And if you do break the rule when he doesn’t say you can just shift into a dove! They are his favorite animal and he will instantly forget why he was frustrated with you :)

Jason Vorhees

It would be best to tell him of your ability before hand. When it’s not summertime he sets up traps around the camp to keep trespassers out. And you wouldn’t want to accidentally step on one!

So you did tell him and he thinks it’s super cool! Now he doesn’t feel quite as bad for being a zombie basically. Because hey! You’re special like him!

He still sets up traps but he makes sure to tell and show you where they are.

Sometimes you help him out by turning into a bird and flying above the camp to look for visitors. He likes this very much because then you aren’t in harms way. People can be very dangerous Y/n!

He knows how to take a joke so if you prank him he won’t be mad :) in fact he will probably get you back by sneaking up on you because that man may be huge af (AWOOGA) but GEEZ HE IS QUIET

Tiffany Valentine

Okay but also just imagine like doll Chucky is in the trailer and he pisses off Tiff, so she just tosses him to you and lets you use him as a chew toy.

Hi, friend! Yes, naturally I have some thoughts on this character. Just a few, really.

Sexuality Headcanon: I actually like a lot of different reads for Miu's sexuality. She's yet another DR lesbian who needs to be freed from comphet. She's pansexual who'd go for anything that moves. She's asexual and all her sex talk is a clumsy effort at blending in with a society that expects girls to make babies. Take your pick!

Gender Headcanon: Miu is transhumanist and not that attached to her fleshy form. She loves her boobs, but she'd be down with exchanging them for spherical cannons. She brags about having a bombass vajayjay, but she'd totally install a robot dick that shoots lazers.

A ship I have with said character: You already know, I'm irumatsu all the way. Just at a glance, Kaede is a fun foil for Miu: a friendly yet stern prep who dresses conservatively for a rude and goofy punk who casually wears BDSM gear. But Kaede's no meek square for Miu to pick on. She's got dignity, and she'll fight back. Thing is, Miu crumbles easily under the slightest pushback. Kaede understands that, but she'd never use it to get a permanent edge over Miu. Instead, she makes sure to be the one person who actually tries to understand the human being beneath the gorgeous girl genius. And that, in turn, encourages Miu to drop her defensiveness and open up for once in her life. It's really healthy for Miu ... and it'd keep things interesting for Kaede. This dynamic spins in my head like a dynamo. It's dynamite!

A BROTP I have with said character: Maybe you don't always need to have heart-to-hearts with someone. Maybe a relationship can just be two people dissing each other every day forever, and that's enough. Maybe Miu enjoys verbally sparring with Kokichi because he's the one guy who can actually keep up with her (he'd say it's more like she tries to keep up with him). A friendship of dueling wits, two people who spend their free time coming up with clever insults, trading them with each other at school, then ending it by asking, "Same time tomorrow?" In a way, they might need each other ... so they don't terrorize the rest of the world.

A NOTP I have with said character: Eh, I don't really have one? None that I feel too strongly about, anyway.

A random headcanon: Miu has very strong opinions on cartoons intended for small children. The kind of person who vehemently tweets that animation is cinema but only watches franchise movies from big studios. The kind of person who would tell kids they deserve to die for not caring about the original Teen Titans series. The kind of person who's ranked every episode of a show they barely even like ... Dang, I'd watch Miu's YouTube channel.

General Opinion over said character: One of my top three Danganronpa characters. Hell, top two. I love the huge personalities in these games, and few are bigger than the self-proclaimed gorgeous girl genius. Bombastic yet secretly meek, generous yet condescending, socially clueless yet sharp-witted, beautiful yet devoid of rizz, the worst person you'd ever know yet a person I'd like to have a non-alcoholic beverage with. She's awful because she thinks she's the best, and the worst part is that she's right. Miu fuckin rulez.

My hot(?) animation takes

don't take these too seriously, just my opinions. Inspired by my friend @ginger-snap-talkin-nonsense's hot take saga thingy but less ig idk lol.

the future of animation is actually in a more interesting position than it was in the 2010s, thanks to the strikes and the pulling of animation from many "mainstream" services, I am expecting a huge rise in indie stuff.

2010s animation focusing more on lore than making enjoyable media has hurt animation more in the long run than helped. While this may seem like it could clash with my first statement, I think the first statement would have never happened if most series stuck to making enjoyable media that has some lore beats than making lore beats with no backdrop. This has caused companies to overall be more cautious even picking up series due to multitudes of reasons. While the prospect of indie animation is exciting, it will also lesser the chances of most animation getting good amount of attention.

Animation "fans" disrespecting offbeat shows like Fanboy and Chum Chum, Johnny Test, Teen Titans Go, and more is a crime. If those shows aired during the 90s, you would see them being called cult classics or built up as shows that made peoples childhoods. But because they aired during times where people wanted "better cartoons" AKA lore shows, they got the short end of the stick that they didn't deserve. Killing off an entire genre that made up cartoons for years for a good decade.

The 2000s was the most interesting era of cartoons, due to how many varieties there were and how many obscure cartoons there were. I can't think of any other era where multiple Canadian shows could get as much airtime as American ones. Where multiple companies tried to make original movies on DVDs, with a variety of quality. Where movies like "Grandma got Run Over By a Reindeer" and "Hoodwinked" could even exist. The amount of variety is insane when taking a deeper look, and besides the early years of animation, I don't think there has been any other era with that much variety before or since.

Chicken Little isn't that bad and isn't Disney's worst by a long shot. Home on the Range is way worse in every way

Total Drama Pakitew Island is one of the best seasons of the show

Top 10 Best Polish DUBs part 2

6. The Ice Age franchise, similar to the Shrek and Madagascar franchises, seems to be way more popular and liked in Poland than in the USA. While the general sentiment in the US is that the first one is somewhat of an underrated classic and the best and every single one got only worse and worse. Meanwhile, in Poland, its sequels are held in much higher regard. Yet again, it's thanks to the funnier dialogue and much better voice actors. Sid became an iconic character just like Donkey from Shrek or King Julian from Madagascar, most likely thanks to the fantastic work of Cezary Pazura, an actor and voice actor who makes everything he's in so much better. Piotr Fronczewski as Diego is also great with his warm fatherly voice he sounds way more sincere. If Diego had the same voice in the English version he would have even more simps fans. Wojciech Malajkat is great as Manfred. He would later voice Puss in Boots from Shrek. As the franchise went on not only the quality of writing went downhill but also they started casting celebrities instead of the real VAs or even regular actors. Queen Latifah, Drake who was in like 5 minutes of a movie.

7. Winx Club is way better in Polish, in my opinion. I don't know if it's because their VAs aren't actual teenagers who don't have as much experience, or if they're adults trying to sound like teens and failing miserably, or if their voices are just that annoying. Whatever the case might be the Polish actors strike a great balance between sounding mature but youthful at the same time. Like teens that are on their way to becoming adults but still with some childish tendencies. Not a twelve-year-old trying to sound grown-up or a 40-something-year -old trying way too hard to be cool and hip with the kids. And Polish versions of the songs are amazing.

8. Totally Spies makes their heroins sound way more mature just like Winx Club. To not repeat myself let me tell you about something different, the dialogue changes. It's not censorship or completely changing the meaning of the dialogue but the vocabulary. In the show, they are very much Valley girls. In the Polish version, they still use slang that was (and still is) used in Poland at the time but they also were capable of using big words. Maybe English slang is more annoying, at least to me.

9. W.I.T.C.H. BLAH BLAH better and more mature voices BLAH BLAH better and funnier dialogue BLAH BLAH. What is worth mentioning are the voices of the male characters. Caleb's English VA doesn't fit him whatsoever. I know Greg Cipes sounds like that even as an adult but still. If Caleb looked like his comic version he would be fine but not when he looks like he is 18 or older. Imagine my shock after growing up with the Polish deep manly voices only to watch the English version and hear boys who haven't finished going through puberty yet. I've heard that the Polish language is sometimes referred to as snake language because of the ć, ś, ź, ż, sz, cz, and many other sounds, so Cedric's VA has a time to shine. English Phobos sounds more whiny than menacing.

10. Shark Tale is regarded as one of the worst animated movies ever both in terms of animation and the story. Highly exaggerated in my opinion. I mean it's not great but it's not Food Fight, Video Brinquedo, Animated Titanic, and many others. I think why it's not as hated by me and many other Poles it's thanks to its dubbing. I don't know if you know this, but there is a Polish comedy ''Kiler''. The whole plot of the movie is that the main character is mistaken for a killer. So, the Polish dubbing of Shark Tale is basically a parody of this movie. They even got Cezary Pazura (the guy playing Sid) who played the main guy in ''Kiler''. Instead of gay-lisped Jack Black we have Jarosław Boberek aka King Julian. Now that's a team-up better than the Avengers.

It was a surprisingly hard list to make, not because there are no great Polish dubbings but because there are so many good ones. Any movie or show could've been on the list. To make it easier I asked myself ''What Polish dubbings are better than the original?'' and ''What dubbings had the biggest impact on me but also on my country as a whole?''.

The reason why most of the list consists of shows and movies from the early 2000s is because that's when Poland had a little golden age. There were a bunch of great movies and shows coming out, so it was easy to strike gold. (And that's when I was born.) Now with all the trash coming out, it's way harder to do. The translators for ''Wish'' tried their best to fix those broken lyrics.

But nobody's perfect. I'm a firm believer that there is no terrible Polish dubbing but they still can make mistakes, questionable decisions, and voices that will make you switch the channel until they stop talking.

Fully admit that I was never a BB fan to begin with but the annoyance is exemplified when Bart isn’t highlighted for having good leadership nor trauma. He can clearly take charge when needed while still listening to other’s opinions. And (not to sound like I’m comparing) has probably suffered so much more, has probably had to see so many loved ones die in his time. Restraining so much not to rant lol. Hope it’s fine to dump this : P!

Honestly, I at first wrote an essay in response to this especially regarding the parallels between Garfield and Bart, because they're definitely there and super interesting to discuss. But I felt like I was gonna be dumping this ask with my own rambles and unasked for think piece and didn't want to stray too much off topic lol. 

Basically, I totally understand where you're coming from anon and the biased side of me entirely agrees! Its kinda ridiculous that we don't get to see these aspects of Bart being highlighted which essentially serve as a foil to Gars Phantoms arc. 

I think its also a complete waste of an opportunity (yes I understand there are time and work constraints on creating a show, but of course, I believe there is always a way especially with how YJA prides itself in balancing a multi-plot storyline), that the parallels in Gars and Barts characterisation weren't explored. Because otherwise, it leads to the type of frustrations that both you and I feel on this topic, because theres no on-screen resolution of it. 

Like you said, its not a comparing game. But we really can't help but do a side by side comparison when they have been two characters that have basically been linked since season 2. When Bart first appeared, BB was one of the first people he properly met and “fought” lol. They're also the closest in age among their generation of heroes. Then theres the whole Outsiders plot, with Bart obviously supporting Gars initiative and by the end of season 3 at the ending clip Bart was joking with BB. The two are clearly good friends, considering their history, and whilst BB was trying to work through his trauma its almost ridiculous that we didn't even get a mention of Barts input on his situation. 

But im kinda going off topic here. My point in relation to your post is, there is very much a basis for the parallels between the two to be drawn. So its not unreasonable to compare the twos history. Ive read people on the young justice discord also very reasonably compare the two and what they mentioned that I entirely agree with them on is that Garfield is clearly particularly sensitive to death.

Which is very hard for someone in a field of heroics and all that. Especially as a team leader. 

Bart is clearly on the opposite end of the spectrum, pretty much desensitised to death clearly cause of his original timeline. 

Now, I find BB being sensitive to death very on par with the shows rendition of his character. He started out as an innocent, open minded, animal loving kid. Hes vegetarian (possibly vegan I can't remember) and really easily warms up to new people in his life for the sake of found family. He is sensitive and empathetic that way, which I believe is a prerequisite for his powers too as he has no problems to easily take on any creatures form. 

I used to be a fan of him from Teen Titans (lol) and I read a lot of his comics when I was a kid, and honestly, a lot of iterations of his characters throughout all these series, both comics and cartoons (TT included) he is often annoying and a douche bag in one way or another (arguably a poor portrayal of him, or maybe it really is just him because its so common lol). So him not being a massive asshole, in fact being this some what naive and sensitive guy in young justice, is definitely a welcomed breath of fresh air. 

So when I try to be “unbiased” I recognise that with all the tragedy that BB has been through, its fair for him to act the way to he has throughout Phantoms. 

I think this “objective” fact, that different people react in different ways, could've easily been demonstrated by drawing explicit parallels this season between the two. Bart is known at this point in the show to have an incredibly traumatic childhood and I think involving him in this plot could've showcased more how subjective the experience of trauma responses can be and actually explicitly showcase that Gar is sensitive to death which I think would've helped the ppl both on Tumblr and the YJ reddit who were not particularly impressed with BBs phantoms arc, to be more sympathetic to him. Because I think having opposite sides of the spectrum, really sheds light on one another. 

However we are left with the two parallels not being connected this season, with the outsiders not so much as being shown a second of their reaction to Barts disappearance and him not being shown for a second in Gars Phantoms arc. Its annoying. And frustrating. But it is what it is. And just gives us more excuses to come up with whatever interpretations we want to fill in the blanks they gave us.  

Its cool that we got to see Barts independence, resilience and capabilities, especially considering his background this season (despite the way too many times hes been nerfed this season lol) and it would've been so many times more satisfying if we saw its context within the rest of the Outsiders. But who knows, if the show gets renewed or maybe even in the comics, we might get a glimpse of all these things. Anything is possible lol. 

So yeah, I kinda went off track and still wrote some kind of essay. Welp, my bad lol but I very much found ur ask super interesting and inspired all this lol and hope I addressed some of ur frustrations which I agree with.

p.s My personal headcannon based on what has been shown of Bart in the show, especially his desensitisations to death is that he really isn't as traumatised as people often express/expect him to be. Doesn't mean he has zero trauma, or doesn't have his issues, or his childhood didn't fck him up a bit, I feel like anyone growing up in some kind of post-apocalyptic wasteland will be messed up one way or another. But definitely not in the classic trauma response way which Gar was shown to go through this season. I feel like the resilience that Bart has shown throughout the seasons makes a lot of sense for someone who has survived what he has so that's why im not really on the same camp of the people who say that they would like to see what Gar has gone through, for Bart. Because ultimately, they are two different characters and these kind of journeys aren't copy and paste, nor is it realistic to be universally applied to everyone. Which is why I would have again, appreciated the parallels to be more explicitly linked and Barts story to be more highlighted this season. 

On a semi-unrelated note, I am literally writing a fic right now on Barts messed up worldview as a result of his growing up in his OG timeline (in a some what light-hearted) way. Because of all the lack of Outsiders this season I was inspired to try to write a one shot on some of their team dynamics and I think ppl naturally think Bart is weird (its both an original comics and in show constant which I appreciate) so I wanted to explore this weirdness a bit. So for anyone who is interested in this, I should be posting it some time this week! For zetaflash fans, theres some sprinkled in there too lol and for Blue and Bart besties 4 ever fans, there some of that in there too lol for those who don't care feel free to ignore lol

Saw Lily’s calarts video. I think this is the most double standard and total disregard for animation history I’ve seen. There’s a lot of points I want to make but here are my biggest ones

1. Lily saying CalArts creators are weebs is funny to me. How does Lily think anime got its look from? Like I wonder if anyone should tell her anime got its look from Disney. And the US and Japan have been swapping styles and ideas from each other for decades

2. Calling Rebecca Sugar Weeb Tommy Wiseau is weird and kind of funny. Cause at least Wiseau and Sugar actually created entertaining properties… Lily so far hasn’t.

3. Thundercats 2011 and Roar both got screwed by the networks because of bad time slots and ratings along with poor sales. “But nobody wanted thundercats 2011 and the network didn’t screw them over. It did screw over roar.”

4. While minor but again her saying Teen Titans Go is more popular than the original isn’t because Go is better. CN kept showing it and showing it during the earlier seasons. Cast a big enough net you’re gonna catch something. But a lot of people made fun of the fact that a majority of CN’s programming was just TTG. Just because they show a lot of it doesn’t mean it’s automatically good

the last bit you bring out is especially concerning to me because multiple creators who were employed by CN has spoken out for years about how the saturations of TTG negatively affected their own shows, many to the point of rushed cancellation before it's time. this is absolutely no secret at all and has been talked about by many other cartoon reviewer channels, that is how i first find out about it. this is another example of how badly it affects LO to be completely detached from the rest of the community, because she clearly doesn't keep up with the industry, doesn't care to do her own research and doesn't care about the people behind those shows unless she can punc them down personally for percieved faults.

for LO to go out of her way to support this choice as a good one because TTG is more popular is blatantly corporatism apologia that erases any wrondoing from CN part and paints those failed creators as sore losers. it's a slap on the face of anyone who cares about animation as anything beyond a business transaction. it's the kind of opinion that i'd expect from a reactionary channel who decries "forced diversity" everytime a character that isn't white appears.

hiya! :D I've been daydreaming about this for a while and I was thinking about what anime (or cartoons) or manga Eddie and/or Gareth would watch or read. I was thinking Eddie might like anime like Tokyo ghoul or demon slayer tbh and for cartoons, he would probably like Over the garden wall or Adventure time. Idk about Gareth though, I mean he probably would like Adventure time too haha. What do you think?

hi!! :)) i’ll be honest with you when i say that i know very little about the anime/manga world so i apologize if this answer is totally lame (though i’m open to recommendations!). from what i know about over the garden wall, i agree with you! i’ve seen some of adventure time, and i think that’s a pretty solid bet that they’d like it too. something tells me that if gareth got his hands on kiki’s delivery service, he’d lose his mind. in my head, he’s a cat person, so i think he’d be all over it. for cartoons, i think both eddie and gareth would like scooby-doo, but maybe that’s because i’m partial to it. gareth has definitely been shaggy for halloween before because “it’s easy.” eddie might like the simpsons. i think gareth might like stuff like teen titans and looney tunes. honestly i can picture the both of them watching anime or cartoons together and fighting about them. i think they’d be open to anything! i hope that response wasn’t completely disappointing!! i’m honored that you asked for my opinion. <333

I’m no expert in the goings on with WB and DC, we’re just a fan comic so take my opinion with a grain, or a bucket, of salt haha!🧂I believe you’re referring to the post credit scene of Teen Titans GO! To The Movies? Where the Titans say they’ve ‘found a way back’. I think that was just to hype up the next film, Teen Titans GO! vs Teen Titans. It’s been 4 years since that film came out, if they were going to do a season 6 they would’ve announced it around that time to capitalize on that wave of marketing momentum. It seems Tara and Greg are open to making another season, and based on this panel, Khary is more ok with leaving that series alone. 

I lean more with Khary (says the girl making a fan comic about this childhood show haha 🤦🏾‍♀️). Times have changed, animation styles have changed as we saw in TTGO vs TT (the old Titans were so different to fit this new animation style), and the people that made the show have changed due to life moving on. It probably won’t feel the same if they were to make a season 6. If they did do one, I would love if they did something different but links to the old show! So if it’s bad it doesn’t really hurt the original, and if it’s great it moves the story forward and we get to see the Titans like we’ve never seen the before! Which is why I made this comic, hopefully it feels reminiscent and new at the same time!🙃 But that’s just my two cents, if you want a season 6 that’s totally cool as well, sometimes things can come back after all these years!

Speaking of Nightstar. Not sure if it's possible for her to appear in Young Justice. But if anything, maybe it would be possible to appear in the 6th season of Teen Titans (and no I am not talking about Teen Titans Go! I am taking about the version of the 2003 series should the directors decide on the new season or a reboot).

I mean the Kingdom Come comics just make the new generations very interesting. Also I was thinking should Connor Hawke appear as Green Arrow, he can take Lian Harper under his wing for her to become Speedy, while also trying to make a name of his own,not because he is Oliver Queen's son.

Since Young Justice Targets comics kept going. I think in my opinion, there should be the spin-off comics sequel of Young Justice where the new team should be called the Titans as the children of the JL sparked the foreshadowing of new generations whom might be able to survive and fight Darkseid's armies.

Yeah I agree that I'm not sure Nightstar would ever appear in YJ since we're not even sure if Starfire exists in that universe. But yeah it would be totally possible for her to appear in Teen Titans 03 (if it ever gets revived) and also in the Titans 2018 show. I mean she sort of already kind of appeared in that show in a way.

I would love to see Connor Hawke show up in YJ or even some sequel to Kingdom Come if they ever make one. Connor deserves to be in more things!

Also, I would love it if dc made like an animated movie adaptation of the Kingdom Come comic, it would be so cool! (if done right).

I'm pretty sure the Young Justice Targets comic will be ending soon, as it's only supposed to have about six issues. but I think it would be nice if the show continued in comics, since it's unlikely that we will ever get a season five at this point, at least not any time soon unfortunately

Anime-influenced design isn’t terrible , lazy or genetic (but instead why is inspired).

Anime, what is your opinion about it polarized good or bad? That is effective for those who are fans of whatever series community they are part of, you can't deny it influences generation not only alienated target audiences but animation industry as what is seen today. From Avatar: The Last Airbender to The Legend of Vox Machina. Calls on this art style before since and even every time someone or sites compare shows that are similar to Last Airbender and Korra since that were comparisons every time a series resembles that type of style. Draw heavily from action and story-driven anime. Want talks about animation series or movies that were in fact influenced by anime. Not including shows that were inspired by anime by storytelling or made reference like Steven Universe or The Owl House for another topic to talk about for about time. Going talks about the style.

Question? What animation series that you’re watching and kind of look like anime and have that same movement like Cowboy Bebop, Sailor Moon or Fullmetal Alchemist. There are four shows that come to mind: The Boondocks, Code Lyoko, Teen Titans and Avatar: The Last Airbender. This four grown up watched like after when coming after school in the afternoon or a night waiting for the latest new episodes. This four series did was my fellow gen-z or any millennials at that time during early-mid 2000s when anime growth popular within entertainment industry from shows,

CalArts Style in the 2010s was criticized by those who thought simpler style to design and sometimes style was less diverse and not unique, don’t have your own sense of style. Then yet again not the case. Shows like Gravity Falls, Gumball and Steven Universe are far different each with changes of design when the season progresses forward and writing is less different. Same for those who are drawn to Avatar, Young Justice and Voltron. Reviewers and critics pointed out storytelling, anime-inspired moments, animations and even noticed character designers.

This isn’t new, this went back to the “Action Figure Era” in the 80s with transformers. The series was co-production by Sunbow Productions and Toei Animation. Since then shows throughout the decades of 1990s man studios and companies started to bring on Japanese animators to work many of the well known shows from your favorite childhood and Batman the Animated Series, Gargoyles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Spider-Man, even Talespin heavily Miyazaki's 1989 manga Hikōtei Jidai. The Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory there episodes are inspired by anime and giant monster films like Godzilla or Super Sentai. Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel The Legend of Korra, evolved that term and now many you’re thankful helped evolve a hybrid of this sub-genres both animation and anime.

Has nothing but highly respect and praise for many studio’s Titmouse Studio, Rooster Teeth, Powerhouse Animation, Studio Mir, Studio 4°C, Polygon Pictures, DreamWorks Animation  and… Certainly Crunchyroll, my dream is to be an aspiring showrunner/writer someday working with one of those studios someday in the far future you've seen what they can do. With passion and plenty of hours of production these quality levels are put into this series. Telling not only a story but the world wanted to see off and fans have many love for what these studios are doing. Debating whenever referring to them as “Anime” or not.

You hear about what happened in animation on social media, and recently news about these studios. Either they are doing great or not so much at Sametime controversy arose with mistreatment in management, companies being sold off their division due to other companies, layoffs, or budgeting. What cases do these studios and companies have? What effect does this series have? Anime isn't the only country that has been influenced by anime alone. European-Canadian, Italian and France. Code Lyoko, Wakfu, Winx Club, Totally Spies! and Miraculous each have their own strong influence on anime you’re clearly seen that people who worked on this have enjoyed making this series and making those series anime as possible.

If you’re enjoying it, fans of this series like Blood Zeus, Invincible Avatar, She-Ra, Rwby, Young Justice, The Legend of Vox Machina, Blood Dragon and Masters of the Universe: Revelation, well noting power to you all, and you’re wrong watched this show with few people have they own criticism about this shows and style being compared back to Avatar or Voltron. I am looking forward to this type of series in the future both 2D and 3D. Executive from WarnerMedia, Netflix and Amazon Studios are known for their audiences. Even inspired by a few of these show’s, for future projects of a series for a few years worked and also fellow storyboard artists, animators and character designers on social media for content and want to work with in future.

i had a convo with my friend about this and i'd love your 2 cents. any opinions on why yja is hated by so many comic fans and seen as more of an adaptation rather than a different universe? like it has a universe number and everything. it should be treated more like an elseworlds story. but it isn't? and i don't understand why.

I think it primarily boils down to the title.

Even though pretty much every cartoon changes things for the setting and creates it's own universe, usually it actually still has to do with the thing it's named after. Batman the Animated Series is about Batman. Justice League and Justice League Unlimited are about the Justice League. Harley Quinn is about Harley Quinn. Teen Titans is about the Teen Titans.

But 'Young Justice' is not about the team Young Justice. Like literally, they don't even call their team Young Justice.

If they had named the show something else (preferably something original) I think people would care a lot less, but because they used the name and about 3 total elements (Mount Justice, Super-Cycle, Red Tornado as mentor) from an existing comic team and then proceeded to make something that had nothing to do with that comic team, it understandably pissed people off.

The other reason I think it is so frustrating for comic fans (that is related to the above thing) is that due to how popular the cartoon is and the fact that it shares a name with a comics team, many people treat the cartoon's canon as if it is related to the comics. SO many misconceptions about comic YJ as a team and pretty much every character featured in the cartoon have come about as a result of it, because watching a cartoon is a lot easier than reading a ton of comics for a lot of people.

And I get that, I really do, but just talk about things within the cartoon's canon and be clear that's what you're doing if that's what you know. So many people will conflate cartoon canon with comics canon (especially for Conner) and it is absolutely maddening.

If the cartoon had a different name that made it seem less connected to the comics universe, then I feel while some of these problems would still be present they'd be less so.

If the joke book he probably carries around isn’t enough, I would’ve been certain that the ego would drive you away but nope you’re still here

And that’s how you both knew that it was true fucking love you’re both inseparable and the Titans know it.

To put things simply... he loves you and the Titans fear you.

While you’re both somewhat easygoing and hospitable, one would do well not to piss off one or the other because you both come as a package deal and you can kick ass when necessary you just choose not to embarrass Dick like that because you could totally outmatch him.

Don’t ask him that though he’d insist that he’d win.

Best not bring up the first time you met or else the Titans would never let him live it down

But in all seriousness, I see the relationship as rather lighthearted and enjoyable, maybe a bit spontaneous too. Want to go to the beach? Done. Want to kick some ass in Gotham? For sure. It’s like a match made in heaven.

Not to mention that the Titans rather look up to you, which is a definite plus. Not just anyone can date the Dick Grayson.

Wally West

As opposed to popular opinion... I’d think that this is a rather slow relationship. 

Speedsters are more than just familiar with how life just flashes by so I think Wally would like to enjoy the relationship at a slower pace, he wants it to last as long as possible.

With that said, you’re both menaces. His speed combined with your cleverness? No one is safe and the Titans know it.

The best moment of your relationship, although this is debatable, was when you and Wally successfully turned the Titan tower into an all-out prank minefield. Trash cans were covered with plastic, buckets of water places on doorways, even wardrobes were switched.

And all done in ten seconds, impressive. Nothing quite like starting a war in the Tower then grabbing burgers after, right?

Kind of cheesy but I can see you both having frequent movie nights that differ in genre according to month. You both probably rotate on who chooses the movie too.

Overall I think you both have a lot of fun together, if I were to compare the “vibes” to something, I would say a summer relationship (that obviously lasts longer than just a summer) where everything is just living life as it goes

Nah because like I said before you guys don’t want to rush things, and you’re always there to remind Wally to just slow down every now and then.

I should probably mention that this is a competitive relationship too, before I go, not everything’s a competition but everything’s a competition, you know? It’s a shame that the Titans often get caught in the cross fire though-

Oh this one’s fun. Donna’s new to this whole “rest of the world” stuff but luckily she has a wonderful partner who’s willing to teach her everything.

A lot of the relationship consists of you explaining things, but it’s kind of endearing despite Donna’s headstrong attitude towards anything

But Donna is also the kind to be open to learning new things, and you’re open to trying new things. It works like clockwork, you’re both young and willing.

Now these “things” can range from baking cookies to extreme mountain climbing so be prepared for anything in this relationship.

Overall I think the Titans see you both as a really cute relationship, one that anyone could be slightly envious of and one that they’re glad that exists

But despite this loving relationship I think you’d both be absolute machines in a battle, I think one thing that is important to Donna is ultimately respect for each other’s abilities, having grown up on Themyscira and all, and maybe that one battle where you absolutely demolished the enemy was when she really caught interest.

Or not. It could’ve also been when you mistakenly ran into one of the glass walls in the tower and she developed a crush over you while you mumbled a series of curses.

This relationship is strongly built on loyalty, so I think you both would be describes as a pair of ride-or-dies who typically tend to lean towards the latter, especially when trying the more extreme things that Donna asked you about.

But overall I think it’s a really sweet relationship with few bumps, they’re still there but I mean that you’re both good at working through them.

Victor Stone

I feel like this relationship is very classical high school romance, you know?

Like walking to class together, holding each other’s books, stuff like that.

But on the other hand I feel like you’re both a very fun couple to be around, like you know how when you’re with some couples it feels like you’re third wheeling? Not these two. You feel like you’re part of the crew

You guys probably switch between fun couple and parent couple every now and then, I can see the Titans relying on both of you a lot for different things.

You and Victor are definitely the type to play games to determine who buys food, like things as simple as rock-paper-scissors to things as complicated as 8-Ball, and so far you’ve been winning at a ratio of 3:1.

Definitely a very trusting relationship, I feel like you both reach that comfortable stage faster than most, but it feels right, you know? I think you’d both understand that relationships go both ways.

There are probably times where you’re both in a teasing mode too, I think, but they’re mostly light hearted pranks, definitely not anything in the realm of what Wally would do

I kinda want to say that you’re a very active couple in that you both like to go to the gym together and idk take hikes together but at the same time I also want to say that you’re both inclined to stay home and play video games so I guess it’s like a 50/50

Now this one’s interesting, you and Raven are certainly an interesting duo, but the most interesting thing would likely be how you met. Let’s say it involved a blood sacrifice, a bat, and a very old bicycle.

No you weren’t trying to summon her someone else was you just ended up being at the wrong place at the wrong time anyway moving on

You’re both the perfect example of opposites attract for more reasons than just one. 

But what makes it better is that you’re always open and willing to learn and understand many of the things that Raven does and she appreciates it a lot

It goes both ways also! She’s always willing to do whatever you ask her to and you both end up having at least some fun even if it happens to be something she isn’t used to.

Random, but I think a favorite pass time for both of you is simply sitting in her room and reading books, weird, I know, but like there’s something inherently romantic about either of you excitedly showing the other a certain passage you both enjoyed or telling them about your book, it’s just so sweet.

She definitely has a personal bias towards you, obviously, Garfield can say a joke and she’d stare at him with a straight face but you could say the exact same joke probably right after him and she would crack a smile and she probably does that on purpose but it still feels nice

You also may or may not have caught on to her incantations and now you may or may not be able to perform these spells but you haven’t tried because you wouldn’t know how to but it’s just telling of how much time you spent together.

I only mention this because there was an event in which you corrected her incantation and suddenly hell fire appeared which she had to figure out how to get rid of and since then you both mutually agreed to both (a) not tell the Titans and (b) not say incantations out loud

Koriand’r (Starfire)

STOP YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE anyway you’re definitely both kinds to see beauty in everything

Maybe this relationship is rather dangerous considering you’re both curious people and Kori happens to be able to shoot lasers out of her eyes so maybe you should both be just a little more careful

You’re both probably very doting on both each other and the rest of the Titans and although you’re both well intentioned it has become a case of “oh no there’s two of them” but in like a teasing way

I feel like Kori is very open to sharing a lot of aspects about her culture with you, and you have always found Tamaran culture to be beautiful so it fits

Likewise you share a lot of things about your culture too and you both bond over finding ways to combine them together to make a nice fusion of understandings and it’s all a sweet combination

See a big thing about this relationship if that you both put your everything into it, it is an equal push and equal pull kind of thing where you both love each other with everything that you have and it creates this unbreakable bond that even non-supers have come to acknowledge

Though this also results in the both of you frequently being in your own world even when others are around and that’s something you both promised to fix but yeah...

It’s coming around, don’t worry. You’re both making active efforts but sometimes it just slips your mind and whoops

Now this should go without saying but this trust often leads to powerful combinations when in missions, you’re both fiercely loyal to each other and this often plays in overall favor so all is well

Garfield Logan

This is a fun relationship, definitely, and one that’s also very fulfilling.

You’re both definitely an outdoorsy couple, things like hikes, nature walks (which I guess is also a hike but I’ve been told otherwise), trips to the zoo, etc. but this all just builds the relationship

Also a very sweet one! You both have an unlimited amount of energy and love that you’re often expending said energy volunteering somewhere and helping others out

But when it boils down you’re both also very touchy, I think, you both like being together at all times and cuddles are a frequent occurrence but at the will of the other Titans you both do this in privacy

I also feel like this sweetness can also “flip,” so to say. As in if someone messes with either of you in the relationship the other will come running regardless of whether or not they could do anything about it.

To put it short, you both have each other’s back all the time. Literally, like I said you’re both inseparable. 

Despite these I think the relationship would actually be rather lowkey, I don’t think he would be the type to constantly showcase the relationship. I think he’d mention it like once to get it out there but after that he wouldn’t flaunt you around.

I just think that Garfield, even with his usual out and about behavior, is rather modest when it comes to this topic because you’re more to him than just someone to show off, you’re someone who’s important to him and overall he just wants you to be comfortable

If there’s one flaw in this relationship it’s that when you have arguments it’s just horrible, but also rather comedic. Neither of you talk to the other but you both end up still being in the same room together subconsciously. It’s kind of awkward but the coincidences are what makes the other Titans laugh and honestly you both make up within, like, a day or something.

How do you feel about the DCAU Batman movies? If you ever watched them

In my personal opinion,i think they are overrated,Bruce is cool,Dick is ok but his looks is a big no for me,Damian is the protagonist which is....depressing,Alfred is a badass and the others i don't care

The only thing that gets me is that,in the Batman vs Robin,they involved the court of owls,but totally throwing in the trash the fact that of all of the batfam Dick is the one that is related to them the most.

But NOOOOO-no-no-no,Bruce and Damian got to be the protagonists...Bruce being in the labrinth and Damian...wanting to be a talon or somethimg like that

Honestly i don't like that movies,they distorced the comics original story

The voice acting could be better

I finally got to watch the Trollhunters movie...

And it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Waited to watch it so I could watch it with my friend, and good thing too because boy, we were screaming.

Spoilers under the cut, with my criticisms:

So the only pros I could really say we had:

1. Strickler and Nomura were back.

2. The animation was pretty cool.

And that’s it. That’s pretty much the only thing I can think of that was positive about this film.

Nnnnow, we’ve got the criticisms:

1. Nomura and Strickler’s deaths. Holy hello, can you say “cheap-shot deaths”? Also you’d have thought that Nomura would have died earlier given that they were at the top of the Titan with no cover. Couldn’t they make armor, or something? Either way my queen didn’t deserve that death.

2. Needless conflict for Jim feeling like he’s not fit to be the Trollhunter anymore; literally everyone felt like they couldn’t stop the incantation unless Jim’s amulet was working?

3. Steve was reduced to the shallowest character I could imagine. Also... the pregnancy thing? Really? Were they trying to top off Jimmy Neutron in most awkward alien pregnancy? And I guarantee that joke wouldn’t fly if the genders were reversed, but apparently teen pregnancy’s a funny joke when it’s a guy :/ (inb4 people say “it’s just a joke”: Yes I know. But like I said, reverse the genders and I know people would throw a shitfit).

4. The cat-dragon (I can’t be bothered to remember his name, I’m sorry) did not even feel like a sacrifice. You’re telling me the Chinese trolls can’t just make another horngazel? Speaking of which, the horngazel just... breaks? No rhyme or reason to it, a thing that has never had durability issues breaks so we can have story-driven conflict.

5. Everything about Tobes’ death. This series has spent so much time minimizing Tobey being Jim’s friend in favor of giving Jim more screen time with Claire, so much that it feels like they saw Tobey as enough of a lesser character that it was safer to kill him off. His death felt more insulting than honorable.

6. The whole plot in general just felt... underwhelming. You give the sorcerers (I refuse to call them gods, they couldn’t do jack shit unless they have something to boost their powers) these crazy time-traveling relics, something that could... I dunno... be used to pull back villains from the past (Bullar, Gunmar, Zeron Brotherhood, Morando, King Arthur, etc), liven up the antagonist cast a bit, and all it’s really used for is making big Titans that through a really crappy plot twist can destroy the world.

7. People will hate me for this, and it’s fine, I don’t care: Everything involving Claire. This is all my subjective opinion so if you don’t feel this way, that’s totally okay, but: Claire is the most shallow two-dimensional female character in the show whose only drive is just Jim. And it just gets worse through the series. She’s supposed to be the “wahmen empowerment” character that female viewers are supposed to connect with, but I’ve only ever hated her. The movie (And the series in general but let’s focus on the movie) makes her unbelievably powerful when plot demands it, useless when it’s needed, and motivated by absolutely no one else but Jim. Literally nothing can hinder her or make her suffer consequences; Make a giant portal despite being “spent”? Oh she just faints for like five minutes and she’s awake and perfectly fine just in time for the plot. Going to the Chinese Troll Market without bringing a weapon? That’s okay, she can just disarm a guard and use a weapon literally physically impossible for her to wield due to the weight difference, and something she’s never had training with.

Let me just say we were absolutely cheated to have not gotten Book Claire. We could have had a Scottish descendant of a warrior race who actually has standards, but instead we get someone unworthy shoe-horned into the role who was made more important than she really should have been.

8. That whole ending, like... what? The point of the amulet is that it’s supposed to have chosen the one it thought was the most worthy. I get that in the fake time-travel episode of Season 2, if Jim hadn’t accepted it, it would have gone to someone else, but there’s no way it would have just automatically switched to Tobey. And what is that supposed to mean, now? Isn’t that just gonna fuck up Jim’s relationships with everyone? Blinky won’t be his mentor and therefore won’t become the surrogate father figure, Strickler won’t go through his trials with Jim because he’s not the one he has eyes on as a target and therefore won’t bond, Draal will no longer be Jim’s brother-in-arms... did they get a greenlight to make a what-if season or is this the end, and it’s supposed to be left up to our interpretation? And how is THAT supposed to save Tobey?

9. Also an added note: Naari’s death had no impact. You killed a character whose build-up to the main cast was all done off-screen between seasons. Did I like Naari? I did, she was cute and well-designed and I liked that she was so fond of Douxie. Did I feel sad when she died? Not really. Also, what the hell was with the inconsistencies of the Titans and the sorcerers? They didn’t explain if they could only be felled by each other or not, you’d think the bombs would have hurt the ice guy when they exploded, but the golem just re-creates itself again; but suddenly Naari stabs him and THAT hurts?

This whole thing was a mess. My other friend was right, I can see why this movie made people mad.
