The blurb that is going to be on my book
Azriel Woods is a good kid, or at least that’s what he thinks… will they be proven wrong? What will happen when he meets Zame Clark, a psychic who wants to help them? Will the two teens become good friends or… more than friends? What will happen when something that Azriel made comes back to haunt them years later?

"This idea's so strange/over the top, it feels like a 15-year-old came up with it!"
Good.
Teenage writers are often the most passionate, because they're literally only doing this because they want to. They're not getting paid, they're not setting up a future career, or getting graded on their fanfiction, they're doing it for fun.
If in a few years I get to publish the story I'm writing, I want it to feel like a 15-year-old first thought of it. Because a 15-year-old did. Then a 16-year-old built on it, a 17-year-old forgot about it, an 18-year-old found it again and started making TikToks about it, a 19-year-old made a solid first draft, a 20-year-old polished it, then a 20-something published it.
Without that 15-year-old creating a cringey, crack Sanders Sides OC, I wouldn't have gotten this far.
Give teenagers credit. With some polish, their ideas and passion can create something they'll be proud of in the future.

sticky note poetry
how does one come to terms
with a state of unknowing
in a society where knowing
has been so easy?
for a pretty flower,
smiling in pretty words
and scowling in prose.
when pretty words
do not uncage the singing bird—
what, then, does a pretty flower do
when it wilts?

Hi! I'm Stella, new here. I'm a writer and read a lot. I'll tell a bit about myself and this blog now:
❥ The main purpose of this blog is for me to share about my writings. I might also use this blog sometimes as a diary and as a thought dumpster. I may start discussions with myself about various subjects, too, lol.
❥ I'm always open to have a talk. I like discussing things, giving advice, receiving suggestions and requests. You can also ask me anything. Here are a few things I love: Sarah J Maas, Andrew Garfield, Marvel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Allan Walker's music, Shawn Mendes, Camella Cabelo, Paris, traveling, fashion, philosophy, theories of any kind, books, books, movies, Netflix, Winx Club and books ;)
❥ Currently, my favorite books are: Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling), A Court of Thorns and Roses (Sarah J. Maas), Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen), Little Women (Louisa May Alcott), Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte), An Ember in the Ashes (Sabaa Tahir), Six of Crows (Leigh Bardugo) and Cruel Prince (Holly Black).
❥ If you want me to write about anything specific, you can send requests to me through my ask and I'll consider it. Mostly I lean towards writing fiction and my preferred genres are romance, fantasy and crime thriller.
Requests: open.

My favorite quotes from the book I'm writing:
"Marissa Lockheed was a beautiful dead thing from the day she was born"
"Rory tore through the wallpaper even as her fingers bled, she was desperate to expose the living thing breathing beneath this house's skin. The rotting thing that curled behind the skeleton of these walls."
"the desperation ate away at that pit in her stomach, leaving her empty for something worse"
"this house was desire in the shape of a farm house, it desired for the dead and the living, the neurotic and the sane, the sated and the ravenous."

Where I Find Inspiration as a Writer
instagram: @ ink.turns.to.blood
pinterest: @ inkturnstoblood
I’ve decided that I’m going to start posting writing-related tips and advice here, so we’ll see how that goes!
I thought you would all like to know how I get the inspiration for my various writing projects so I’m here to share that with you all :))
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
1. Pinterest
Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to writing inspiration and I have various different boards for various different projects and general things like poetry inspiration or images that spark ideas. I also have a board where I keep things like writing and editing tips, dialogue prompts and ways to deal with writer’s block. If you need a bit of help with creating a Pinterest board (or multiple boards), you can have a look at my account :)
2. Reading
Whenever I read a book that I really enjoy, I always get out my highlighters and sticky tabs to make notes on my favourite dialogue, settings and descriptions to study for my own writing. I love analysing the voice and narration in other authors’ books in order develop mine further and it always seems to really help. Reading in general can really educate you as a writer and help you engage your readers the way that author engaged you.
3. Nature
Being in nature always gets my creative juices flowing and allows for easy inspiration. There is always something to be found in the clutches of Mother Nature, you just have to be open to seeing it and pay attention. Even the way trees rustle in the wind and rivers rush can inspire a new poem or help you get out of a rut in a novel scene. I have a scene in my main WIP which is set in a forest and all the times my parents and I would go mushrooming, I would take notes on the scenery for that specific scene and personally, it really helped.
4. Socialising/Conversations/Eavesdropping
By simply just interacting with others and leaving the house, you can get so many writing ideas. Eavesdropping is my favourite thing to do because people are always having such interesting (and sometimes disturbing) conversations which can easily spark an idea for a novel or poem. You can also watch the way people interact with each other for body language and emotion study (but don’t make it too obvious that you’re studying them… /lh)
5. Real Life Situations
The news and politics can be good things to draw from for inspiration. For example, if you are writing a fantasy novel with royal elements to it, keeping tabs on the news relating to The Royal Family would likely be helpful and inspiring, especially if you're stuck or lacking motivation. True crime documentaries are good to watch if you’re writing a true crime novel and animal documentaries such as Life On Earth can aid you in worldbuilding creatures for your fantasy novel.
