so I have been performing an experiment.

i share a bathroom with a 14-year-old boy. I noticed that I am always the one who actually puts the toilet paper on its lil holder thing? no clue why, but he puts it on the side of the sink every time and then I just put it where it goes.

here's the thing. I'm sick of that, and also curious. so a couple of weeks ago, maybe even a month, I just... didn't put it in the holder. just to see if he would EVER fix it.

we've gone through 2 rolls (me being very careful not to be the one it runs out for) and it is STILL sitting on the side of the sink

I look at that mirror. No matter how much I change I still just see the same version of me. Isn’t there a version of me somewhere who loves the way I look? Someone who loves the fact they were born with tits?

Why can’t i manipulate myself into loving this body?

Because this version of myself clearly hates it.

I hate being reminded when I go down a block of stairs.

I hate being reminded when I lie on my front to battle the gut pains.

I hate being reminded when a stranger grabs my chest in the street.

I hate being reminded when it’s too hot to wear my binder.

"A week's remand is pretty severe punishment in this instance," he protested, mentioning the Orillia case of last Saturday in which the sentence for stealing a lump of coal was reduced from 15 to 10 days. The magistrate ultimately remanded the boy for three day.
