Big Brother (US) Season 22 All-Stars 2: Episode 2 Review
Sorry for this being so late, I had to do some actual work.So do break this episode down there was the Safety Suite twist, the Nominees, tears, and alliances formed.
Recap
So the episode begins where the last episode left off with the houseguests exploring the house, sans the Have-Nots room because it was not open yet. The only thing that made this episode better than the season premiere was that there were Diary Room sessions! I finally got a view into the houseguests true plans and feelings. For example, the Da’Vonne and Nicole F. relationship. Nicole was in tears thinking about how Da’Vonne had changed her life with her being the final vote to let Nicole win season 18 and because of this she was telling Da’Vonne about how she would keep her safe in the game. Meanwhile, Da’Vonne was not having the same feeling, she was PISSED too find out that Nicole was targeting her the entire season so she rightfully does not trust Nicole. Cody also had to figure out who he was Nominating and the names in his mouth were Janelle, Kaysar, Keesha, and Kevin. He made the mistake though of BS-ing his reasoning to both Kaysar and Janelle which pushed both of them to play in the Safety Suite challenge. Basically the Safety Suite is a one-and-done challenge that grants a houseguest safety for the week and gives them the power to give another houseguest safety too. So in the challenge Kaysar ended up winning with a much quicker time than Janelle with his untasteful Blue Lives Matter hat and as a nice human being he granted Janelle which also gave her a punishment. This thus ultimately derailed Cody plans for Nominations which ended with him nominating Keesha and Kevin.
Houseguests
Cody (HOH)- This was a Cody heavy episode with him having multiple Diary room sessions as well as having the most focus this episode which is not surprising as he is the first HOH of the all-star season. I wish he had a better reasoning for putting up Keesha and Kevin besides the fact that he did not recognize Keesha and he thinks he can mull it over with Kevin. He also made a lot of “I got you” promises to Nicole F., Memphis, and Tyler.
Keesha (Nominee)- While she is a nominee she did not get much screen time for the first half of the episode and her Diary Room sessions were about her wondering if she should use the Safety Suite pass to try and get safety because she felt like she was a target. Janelle convinced her that herself was a much bigger target than “Keesha Smith” which ultimately led to Keesha getting nominated after Janelle was granted safety.
Kevin (Nominee)- I still do not like Kevin. While I understand not feeling like you can talk to someone else because the are the complete opposite than him, he should grow some balls. He spent the entire episode worrying and panicking and crying. While he did hit Cody emotionally it still was not enough to save him from being nominated.
Kaysar (Safety Suite Winner)- He got a lot of focus on himself this episode too. Personally I do not like Kaysar as I do not him from other seasons, but Cody knew enough about him to be scared of him. He was lucky that he was able to get his Safety Suite pass scanned in the last 10 seconds or he would be up on the block across from Janelle. I also believe that due to him picking Janelle, a final 2 alliance will most likely emerge.
Janelle (Safety Suite Plus-One)- She was the one Cody was most scared of which tells you a lot about her. She was not going to play in the Safety Suite due to her not wanting to paint an even bigger target on her back, but after Cody gave her vague answers about who he was putting up she also got her pass scanned in the last 10 seconds with Kaysar. Another plus side with this is that she seems to be having a growing relationship with Bayleigh as they were gushing about what her punishment costume would look like. Oh yea, Janelle got her first punishment in 4 seasons which is just her wearing a giant star costume.
Nicole F.- I liked her in the past but I do not like her now. Her wanting to form an all girls alliance just to leak information to Cody’s all boys alliance is stupid. It degrades women ultimately. If this plan get found out than it paints an even bigger target on her back with her being a winner.
Da’Vonne- Mama Da’! I want her to win an HOH so that she can get some sweet revenge on Nicole F.
David- My sweet boy was having some PTSD from being evicted on the first night last season and I was ultimately surprised when he did not play his Safety Pass. I’m still rooting for him!
Bayleigh, Christmas, Dani, Enzo, Ian, Memphis, Nicole A., and Tyler faded into the background this episode with all but Memphis and Christmas having Diary Room sessions. Hopefully we get more of them because I enjoy Bayleigh and Christmas.

Big Brother (US) Season 22 All-Stars 2: Episode 1 Review
So I have to be honest, in my opinion this was not the best Big Brother season premier but it worked out due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States. I have been watching Big Brother since season 16 so I knew most of the houseguests but there were still some that I did not know.
The Houseguest/My Opinion On Them
Bayleigh Dayton (Season 20): 8/10. During her season I was a big fan of both her and Haleigh and I was upset to see both of them eliminated. I was also one of the #Swayleigh shippers and I was so excited to see their life unfold. I hope she goes far!
Christmas Abbot (Season 19): 8/10. I loved Christmas during her season, but I did not really stay up-to-date with her life after the Big Brother house, so it was a pleasant surprise to learn that she had had a son. All I want from her this season is to not break her foot again.
Cody Calafiore (Season 16): 9/10. This rating may be a little biased as I just find him attractive. During his season though I did enjoy his gameplay, and I thought he was stupid for bringing Derek to the Final 2. Hopefully he does not make that same mistake again.
Daniele “Dani” Briones (Season 8 & 13): 4/10. I was not that impressed with what I saw of her during the premiere and since I never watched her season I do not know how her gameplay will work.
David Alexander (Season 21): 9/10. I have to stick with my Atlanta boy even though he no longer lives here (traitor). I was really upset when he was “evicted” by losing a game on the first night and that he did not get a chance to really play the game afterwards. Hopefully he makes a comeback.
Da’Vonne Rogers (Season 17 & 18): 10/10! I am a huge Da’Vonne fan! I did not really like her in her first season but then she became one of my favorites during season 18. I really want her to get far and I personally hope that she teams up with Cody because I think that will just make Paulie mad.
Vincenzo “Enzo” Palumbo (Season 12): 1/10. He is rated so low on the scale because in making this review I honestly forget who he is.
Ian Terry (Season 14): 7/10. I like his personality and he is also a little cute. My only issue with him is that he has already won the game, I think someone else should win the game instead of an existing victor.
Janelle Pierzina (Seasons 6 & 7/All Stars 1 & 14): 7/10. I also liked her personality and I really think she can go far in the game and I hope she does. My only issue is I think she can become an easy target along with the victors because she has already played the game 3 times.
Kaysar Ridha (Season 6 & 7/All-Stars 1): 5/10. I love the fact that he is a practicing Muslim and that Big Brother is including him in the game, but honestly that is the only thing I remember about him.
Keesha Smith (Season 10): 2/10. I just feel like she is going to get on my nerves, she reminds me of some of the Karens I deal with at work.
Kevin Campbell (Season 11): 2/10 I just do not like him. I love that he wants to win the money so that his husband and him can adopt a child but as of this first episode he was just to flamboyant. I mean as a gay man myself, I too can be flamboyant af but sometimes it just gets on my nerves.
Memphis Garret (Season 10): 7/10 I liked his introduction with his son and him cooking and I also just like his personality so I hope he goes far in the game.
Nicole Anthony (Season 21): 7/10. I loved Nicole during her season and I really thought she had a shot at winning but I knew that there was no way that Jackson was going to choose her over Holly. I just am not looking forward to having to say Nicole A. every time I  talk about her.
Nicole Franzel (Season 16 & 18): 6/10. I love Nicole and her bubbly personality and I also love the fact that she left Victor alone to plan the wedding, but I still have not forgiven her for beating Paul. Yes, I know Nicole deserved to win but. so did Paul.
Tyler Crispen (Season 20): 7/10. My sister’s favorite houseguest. I like him too but I do not know what to think of him this season, I feel like Kaycee may have been a better choice to bring instead of him.
Recap
So to enter the house the houseguest entered in groups of 4 divided my gender and entered straight into the HOH challenge. They had to find where something was located in the house and than maneuver through a ball maze which could come up with 2 HG to partake in the HOH competition. In the end there was 2 girls (Christmas and Nicole A.) and 4 guys (Memphis, Cody, Ian, and Kevin). In my opinion this HOH was totally rigged for a guy to win because the guys had to maneuver the ball less because their goals were closer. Then onto part 2 of the HOH competition where they had to get across a pathway. That was also rigged because the did not make sure all of them had stopped moving before Cody went across which led him to win as he knew which path to not go one. Christmas won $5,000 and Nicole A., Ian, Memphis, and Kevin became the Have-Nots of the week which was funny when they could not open the door.
The Shipping Corner
I do not think there will be a lot if any showmaces this season as 7 of them are married and at least 3 of them are dating. That leaves a possibility of at least 6 people to become couples but then 2 of them have kids so they may or may not be in relationships, so IDK. It seems like the only available ones are David, Nicole A. and divorced dude (Enzo?).
Who Do I Think is Going to Win?
Hard to tell at this point but I am rooting for Da’Vonne, Cody, and David.
