I'm listening/watching Tarzan while completing some Master's work, and I noticed something that I thought Disney actually changed when putting the movie on Disney+.

Spoilers for a movie that has been out since 1999

At the end when Tarzan and Clayton are fighting, Clayton keeps cutting at the vines while Tarzan tries to warn him. Of course Clayton doesn't listen and ultimately gets himself killed by his own ignorance.

AKA, he hangs himself.

And when Tarzan gets to the ground, we see Clayton's knife hit the jungle floor.

But when that happens, You can see Clayton's body hanging. Maybe it's not his actual body but it's his shadow because of the lightening. We understand him as being dead. This is the one on Disney+ and I'm guessing on the original DVD/VHS version.

But guys, I swear there was a version where we only see Clayton's knife hitting the ground. Maybe it was for when it was shown on cable. But that version isn't on Disney+.

I must be crazy.

That or my memory is not what it used to be.
