Indian spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 has completed another milestone as it flew into Rhodesia with the aim of landing on Zabili. The lander module Vikram successfully separated from the propulsion module of this spacecraft on Thursday. It is preparing for the historic moment of landing on the surface of the moon.

After successful separation from the propulsion module, the message sent by the land module was received by the ISTRAC center in Bangalore. దక్షిణాయనంలో సూర్యుడు రోజు రోజుకి భూమికి దక్షిణం వైపుగా కొద్ది కొద్దిగా దూరమవుతూ దక్షిణ అర్ధగోళంలో భూమికి దూరం అవడం వలన భూమిపై బాగా చలి పెరుగుతుంది. ఈ చలి వాతావరణాన్ని తట్టుకునేందుకు ప్రజలు సెగ కోసం భగ భగ మండే చలి మంటలు వేసుకునేవారు, ఉత్తరాయణం ముందు రోజుకి చలి విపరీతంగా పెరగడం ఈ చలిని తట్టుకునేందుకు భగ భగ మండే మంటలు, దక్షిణాయనంలో ప్రజలు తాము పడిన కష్టాలను, బాధలను అగ్ని దేవుడికి ఆహుతి చేస్తూ రాబోయే ఉత్తరాయణంలో సుఖసంతోషాలను ఇమ్మని కోరుతూ వేసే మంటలు భోగి మంటలు అంటారని మన అందరికి తెలిసింది. మరైతే ఈ పండుగ రోజున భోగి మంటలు ఎందుకు వేస్తారో వాటి పురాణం మరియు "శాస్త్రీయ కారణాలు" తెలుసుకుందాం..

"భుగ్" అనే సంస్కృత పదం నుండి భోగి అనే పదం వచ్చింది. భోగం అంటే సుఖం.

పూర్వం ఈ దినమే శ్రీ రంగనధాస్వామి లో గోదాదేవి లీనమై భొగాన్ని పొందిందని దీని సంకేతంగా భోగి పండగ ఆచరణలోకి వచ్చిందనేది మన పురాణ గాద.. శ్రీ మహా విష్ణువు వామన అవతారం లో బలి చక్రవర్తిని పాతాళం లోకి తొక్కిన పురాణ గాద మనందరికీ తెలిసిందే అయితే తరువాత బలి చక్రవర్తికి పాతాళ రాజుగా ఉండమని, ప్రతి సంక్రాంతికి ముందు రోజున పాతాళం నుండి భూలోకానికి వచ్చి ప్రజల్ని ఆశిర్వదించమని వరమివ్వడం జరిగిందట. బలిచక్రవర్తి రాకను ఆహ్వానించడానికి భోగి మంటలు వేస్తారని మన పురాణాలలో చెప్పబడింది. కృష్ణుడు ఇంద్రుడికి ఒక పాఠం నేర్పుతు గోవర్ధన పర్వతం ఎత్తిన పవిత్రమైన రొజు ఇదే. శాపవశంగా పరమేశ్వరుని వాహనమయిన బసవన్నని భూమికి పంపించి రైతుల పాలిట దైవాన్ని భూమికి దిగి వచ్చిన రొజు ఇదే అనేవి కూడా పురాణాల గాద.

సాదారణంగా అందరు చెప్పేది, ఇది చలి కాలం కనుక వెచ్చదనం కోసం మంటలు వేస్తారని. కానీ నిజానికి భోగి మంటలు వెచ్చదనం కోసం మాత్రమే కాదు, ఆరోగ్యం కోసం కూడా. ధనుర్మాసం నేలంతా ఇంటి ముందు పెట్టిన గొబ్బెమ్మలను పిడకలుగా చేస్తారు. వాటినే ఈ భోగి మంటలలో వాడుతారు. దేశి ఆవు పేడ పిడకలని కాల్చడం వలన గాలి శుద్ధి అవుతుంది. సుక్ష్మక్రిములు నశిస్తాయి. ప్రాణవాయువు గాలిలోకి అధికంగా విడుదల అవుతుంది. దాని గాలి పీల్చడం ఆరోగ్యానికి మంచిది. చలికాలం లో అనేక వ్యాదులు వ్యాపిస్తాయి. ముఖ్యంగా శ్వాసకు సంబంధించిన అనేక రోగాలు పట్టి పిడిస్తాయి. వాటికి ఔషదంగా ఇది పని చేస్తుంది. భోగి మంటలు పెద్దవిగా రావడానికి అందులో రవి, మామిడి, మేడి మొదలైన ఔషద చెట్ల బెరడ్లు వేస్తారు. అవి కాలడానికి ఆవు నెయ్యని వేస్తారు. అగ్ని హోత్రంలో వేయబడిన ప్రతి 10 గ్రాముల దేశి ఆవు నెయ్యి నుంచి 1 టన్ను ప్రాణవాయువు (oxygen) ను విడుదల చేస్తుంది. ఈ ఔషద మూలికలు ఆవు నెయ్యి, ఆవు పిడకలని కలిపి కాల్చడం వలన విడుదల అయ్యే గాలి అతి శక్తివంతమైంది. మన శరీరం లోని 72,000 నడులలోకి ప్రవేశించి శరీరాన్ని శుభ్ర పరుస్తుంది. ఒకరికి రోగం వస్తే దానికి తగిన ఔషదం ఇవ్వవచ్చు, అదే అందరికి వస్తే అందరికి ఔషదం సమకూర్చడం దాదాపు అసాధ్యం. అందులో కొందరు వైద్యం చెయించుకొలేని పేదలు కూడా ఉండవచ్చు. ఇదంతా ఆలోచించిన మన పెద్దలు అందరు కలిసి భోగి మంటల్లో పాల్గొనే సంప్రదాయాన్ని తెచ్చారు. దాని నుండి వచ్చే గాలి అందరికి ఆరోగ్యాన్ని ఇస్తుంది. కులాలకు అతీతంగా అందరు ఒక చోట చేరడం ప్రజల మద్యన దూరాలను తగ్గిస్తుంది, ఐక్యమత్యాని పెంచుతుంది. ఇది ఒకరకంగా అగ్ని దేవుడికి ఆరాధనా, మరోరకంగా గాలిని శుద్ధి చేస్తూ వాయుదేవునికి ఇచ్చే గౌరవం కూడా.

కాని మనం ఫాషన్, సృజనాత్మకత పేరుతో రబ్బరు టైర్లను పెట్రోలు పోసి తగల బెట్టి, దాని విష వాయువులను పిలుస్తూ, కాలుష్యాన్ని చేస్తూ మన ఆరోగ్యాన్ని తగలేసుకుంటున్నాం. పర్యావరణాన్ని నాశనం చేస్తునం. ఉన్న రోగాలే కాక కొత్త రోగాలని తెచ్చుకుంటున్నాం. ఇక భోగి మంటల్లో పనికిరాని వస్తువులని కాల్చండి అని వింటుంటాం. పనికి రాణి వస్తువులు అంటే ఇంట్లో ఉండే ప్లాస్టిక్ కవర్లు, వైర్లు లాంటివి కావు.

ఇక్కడ మనం చరిత్రకి సంబంధించిన ఒక విషయం గుర్తుకు తెచుకోవాలి. మన భారతదేశం లో ఉన్న జ్ఞాన సంపదను నాశనం చేస్తే కాని భారతదేశాని ఆక్రమించుకోలేమనుకున్న బ్రిటిషు దండుగులు, భోగి మంటల్లో పాత సామాన్లు తగల బెట్టాలనే నెపంతో అమాయక ప్రజలు ఎన్నో వందల సంవత్సరాలుగా వారసత్వంగా కాపాడుకుంటూ వస్తున్నఅతి ప్రాచిన తాళపత్ర గ్రంధాలను భోగి మంటల్లో వేసి కల్పించేసారు. నిజానికి భోగి మంటల్లో కచాల్సింది పాత వస్తువులని కాదు , మనలోని పనికి రాని అలవాట్లు, చెడు లక్షణాలు. అప్పుడే మనకున్న పీడ పోయి మానసిక ఆరోగ్యం, విజయాలు వస్తాయి.
