Bull can't cook for shit so Joe does all the cooking in the house, in return, bull does all the laundry and mopping

Bull doesn't drink at all so whenever joe gets drunk he's gotta baby him around lmao

Joe initiates pretty much everything because bull is shy as hell lol

They have to go on dates either in disguise or at home because the paparazzi will not leave poor bull alone

related to this, they also fake a rivalry so the press doesn't stir up rumors about them dating

Joe keeps offering to beat up the paps for bull, which he appreciates... but gently talks him out of

Joe SWIMS in bulls shirts but refuses to stop stealing them

Joe makes bull breakfast (Or rather lunch) in bed most days because he wakes up very early while bull sleeps in

Cuddling is dangerous with how much hevier/bigger bull is than joe, but joe is so happy to take the risk

Bull buys them matching outfits

They fight over whether or not water is 'wet'

Enjoy watching bad movies together and bitching about them

Joe loves giving bull massages and basically spoiling him with fancy bath bombs when he's stressed

Bull abuses the fact that joe is very ticklish every chance he gets

In private they're 200% for PDA but in public they stay at least 1 foot apart at all times

Joe is small enough that he can perch on one of bulls shoulders and does so often

They do that couple thing where they can look at each other and just start laughing for no reason- neither knows why but their sense of humor is like that

They also have a million inside jokes, one so severe that the word mustard cannot be said around them without both falling into uncontrollable laughter

A couple ye !

They're both fairly introverted people (Bull especially), so it didn't take long for them to warm up to eachother. Bull felt attracted to Joe's calm and polite personality, and Joe in turn admired Bull's serious personality and strength. Both felt like a breath of fresh air to eachother, in the WVBA where most are either rather cocky or even crazy.

They had Very different upbringings. Bull is from a rich family, whereas joe's family had to live paycheck to paycheck. It's a huge relief for joe to finally have some financial stability in his life, thanks to Bull.

Bull was. Very oblivious to his own feelings, as well as Soda whom he initally discussed them with. It took Macho one day listening in and basically going ''It's a sign, you kook.'' to make him realize his feelings. Luckily Macho hasn't told anyone about it. He has SOME standards, trust me.

Bull has to be careful he isn't too rough with Joe, but it's something they're both working on.

Both Joe and Bull get cold very easily. They always make sure to warm eachother up when they get home.

Soda is a great right hand man for Bull, like when Joe and Bull try to have little one-on-one private dates with eachother. The paparazzi, yanno.

Their favorite types of dates are where Joe cooks a big meal and Bull picks out a good romcom or historical drama. Surprisingly, Bull is actually a very sensitive soul and loves romance movies, along with Joe.

One thing Bull loves doing for Joe is sing. He's tried singing french serenades (in very broken French) to Joe, and it makes the latter melt everytime. Joe's fallen asleep to Bull's singing quite a lot as well.

Bull sleeps a lot ever since dating Joe. Guy's so exhausted from dealing with people all day (esp the press), he needs all the recharging he can get. He also just feels very safe and at peace with Joe.

Bull is one of the few people Joe feels like he can tell about his frustrations, be they about other people's tacky fashion senses, his frustration with being the lowest ranking boxer, or w/e kaiser's said to him this time.

Of course Joe has attempted to fight off the paparazzi for Bull. He has to hold Joe back whenever he tries, cause yknow. Public scandal.

The way they butt heads is mainly from different upbringings. Like i said, Bull is from a rich family n is used to solving most problems with money or gifts, whereas joe came from a poor upbringing. Typically when joe tries to talk about his feelings, bull will chime in with a gift idea, which feels like a bit of sting to joe bc it makes him feel misunderstood. Dont get me wrong, Joe loves gifts (in fact, guy has very expensive taste despite his poor upbringing), but he needs the emotional connection in his relationships too yknow? Luckily, they do communicate well with eachother, so they never fight over things like this. The last thing Bull wants to do is push the few people he's close to away. Plus Joe has quite a lot of experience in the dating department, so he's no stranger to disagreements in relationships.

Bull has recurring nightmares about his relationship leaking into the press, and sometimes even considers breaking up with joe in order to not put him through the same hell he has to go through everyday. Joe however always succesfully talks him out of it, promising he won't abandon him and that every relationship hes had has had trials and tribulations, and this is no different to him.

Overall, I love the ship, easy top tier for me. I feel their dynamic works really well tbh.

And as for headcanons I'll asume it for the ship so here are some:

•Joe has used peper spray against the paparazi to protect Bull.

•They cuddle a lot. Usually Joe little spoons but in the days Bull comes stress from work/paparazi, he'll big spoon Bull.

•Bull helps Joe train better so he could one day be strong enough to win at least one more fight.

•Bull loves to run his fingers on Joe's hair. He likes how smooth and soft it feels.

•On a similar page, Joe loves to grab Bull's face. He likes his squishiness

I.

There are days where I feel

Like I'm the only person like me

(in the way all parents wish their children were)

There are days when I'm certain

that no other person could ever

exist

in the way that I do

I feel sometimes

that I am made of a kind of tempered glass

the only window of its kind in a world where

normal people shatter like

normal single panes

and I watch as they tiptoe around

each other's sharp shaped shards

wondering if they have to do so to keep safe

am i the only person like this?

or am i the only one who has figured out how to jump into the kiln?

i learned in school

that glass can be tempered

for the price of a fire that measures 1,148 degrees

you can put everything inside you into tension

and you will be considered safer for it

I don’t have many and I will say stuff that has already been said before so hopefully that’s okay (never done headcanon asks before so sorry)

Bull and Joe are supposed to be keeping this relationship private so the press and paparazzi don’t break into joeys little apartment but they’re terrible at keeping it hidden from the boxers (disco, macho, and don could all take one look at them and immediately tell they’re a thing)

They fake a whole ass petty rivalry just to get the paparazzi off of their asses…it backfired though now they’re being harassed about it

Joe is really big on PDA but he knows it won’t be a good idea to be all lovey dovey in public

Because they need to keep it private they can’t really go on dates so one time Bull set up a little dinner date using soda to order the food

Joe usually wakes up before bull but sometimes the injuries he sustained from a recent match makes him sleep in more so one time Bull tried to make him surprise pancakes. Instead Joe got a surprise kitchen fire and charcoal

Bull will melt with any sort of physical touch from Joe

Bull sometimes sleeps in the other boxers homes due to him not getting enough sleep at his own but after he started to date Joe he slept at his home more often. Hell might as well considered them living in the same apartment together at this point

Joes one win was a freak accident his shoe was loose and hit a not so stable light crushing nick. After the accident he isolated himself in his home and after a couple weeks of it the first person he called was bull

Adding to this this is also a reason Joe may also want to keep the relationship private since he doesn’t want Bull to be seen as someone who’s dating a murderer (it was an accident but Joe still feels guilty for it)

They first met in the locker rooms before their match together when Bull was just starting out. They bonded more when Bull visited him in the infirmary

Bull was at first oblivious to joes flirting before they got together but when they did they went back and forth flirting until one of them was giggling and kicking their feet like a mad man

Adding to this bull either fucking sucks at flirting or is just really straightforward with it. Doesn’t stop Joe from blushing though

Bull and Joe are like the honk mimimi fit + fancy robe dynamic

Joe Will try to pick up bull. He can only move him small distances but that won’t stop him

Adding to that Joe will drag bull somewhere just to use him as a pillow

Joe Will absolutely be really over dramatic and over the top for bull. He will spoil him to no end

Joe and Bull make out sloppy style under a mistletoe (this is a joke)

Bull can sometimes be too rough with Joe even if he doesn’t mean it so Joe sometimes tugs gently on his septum piercing to tell him he’s being too rough (fun fact the septum rings on bulls are for gently keeping control of the bull with minimal injury)
