its been a while since you've updated templeschool: office hours (or anything, for that matter.) have you given up on it? or just not working on it for now?

Sorry! Yeah, it really has been a bit. I’m still working on the story. I’ve just had to take a hiatus to prepare for a big exam I have to take for my program in September. It was supposed to be in July, then got moved to August, and now it’s in September, which is why I’ve been off radar for so long. I’m gonna try to work on it a little during August. I’ve been missing writing fan fiction in general.

Day 51

Hannah and Daisy are now both ill and I hate seeing them sick but having no way to help. Today was the beginning of the temple school effort week. We began by painting, constructing a wall, and I attempted to teach some kids English in the morning. The school is currently on break and all of the kids who live there are back up north in their tribes, but some local parents brought their children over for some lessons. It’s much harder than I anticipated-- I don’t know where to begin. Hopefully I spark some inspiration by morning. In the afternoon I helped with some painting and discovered that we were using oil paint, which reminded me of when Natilee, Elena and I painted our legs during the church cleanup for the first mission trip. That was the same day as Nat’s junior prom and we had to use paint thinner to take it off.

After we returned, God sent me a sign about a silly situation that makes me laugh now reading back on it. Funny how fast He works. My devotion last night after journaling was about trusting Him. He’s there. And He’s listening. I simply have to wait for his response.

A few quick notes for today. Interstellar is an absolutely brilliant movie. I must stay in better contact with my friends back home, and both Michelle and Corrina. Bugs aren’t fun. Especially if you’re Hannah and you’re ill and you’re rooming with Daisy and I. Oops… thanks for killing all the bugs Hannah. Here’s to what tomorrow holds.

Just a Steven Universe time travel drawing inspired by @shadow-light19‘s fic “Templeschool” (one of the best time travel AU’s I’ve ever read. Go read it.).

What I imagined is during “Change Your Mind,” White Diamond would be going after Steven (like in the original) and Twoie would jump in to push Steven out of the way but wouldn’t make it in time to put up his shield so he uses his body as a shield instead to protect Steven.

Because who doesn’t like a little angst :)

GOD THAT’S A MOOD!! like!!!!!! no offense but in the beginning the gems!!! weren’t the best guardians!!!!! steven was most likely left for days on end without an adult!!!!!!!! he had his dad yeah but!!!! this poor kid!!!!!! left in a house by himself???? he could have gotten hurt so easily???? i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s another contributing factor to his VERY PROMINENT abandonment issues!!!! poor kid was left alone SO MANY TIMES!!!!!

Okay, so a while ago @amevinil239 commented on Templeschool: Office Hours requesting a chapter where Twoie meets the gems after arriving in their time. I had been wanting to write it for a while now, but haven’t had the time. Of course, that meant my mind had the freedom to run wild and create more work for me.

This is more of a proof of concept art for the story. I guess like a wip or teaser for the prequel I have finally decided to write for Templeschool. There’s a basic plot and outline of the chapters I want to write, leading up to Twoie’s eventual appearance into Steven’s world. I won’t post the prequel until most, if not all, of the chapters are done. I just thought I’d do this because I wanted to learn how to use medibang and let @amevinil239 know that I haven’t forgotten. Truly I haven’t. It plagues my mind constantly. XD

I am still in the planning stages, but the name I am currently fond of for this story is “Into The Unknown,” which explains the mysterious air surrounding the temple door. If I had to guess, I would probably say the story won’t come out until the summer. I’m looking forward to it, though, and I will still be working on Office Hours and A Split In The Path in the meantime.

Hello, everyone! This is going to be a longer chapter than usual! I've gotten back to the requested canon arcs, and today's chapter is for RoxasTsuna_TMNT, who requested Three Gems and a Baby. The beginning is a little bit of a retelling of the show, but that is the only part that is going to be easily recognizable for you guys.

Also, I really want to gush over RoxasTsuna for a minute. They made me THREE, THREE I TELL YOU, THREE drawings between Templeschool and Templeschool: Office Hours. They are amazing and made me cry and I really want to share them with you all. I posted a link to one of them in the AN of the last chapter, but I'll post it again here so they're all in one place.

Hello, everyone! I know this was long-awaited and hugely requested from Templeschool: Office Hours. This story is going to be a side project of mine as I continue to work on Office Hours. I have made a lot of edits to this previous one-shot so that it could work as its own story. I hope you all enjoy it! Also, thanks to RoxasTsuna_TMNT for helping me come up with the title!

For anyone who wants a little extra context, Steven from Future ends up in the past after using the janky hourglass. He is given the name Twoie, and while Amethyst and Steven trust him, Pearl and Garnet are suspicious. Twoie doesn't behave like they'd expect Steven to be. He's closed off, secretive, and extremely powerful. They watch him for a while and become frustrated when he refuses to tell them where Peridot is, so they can poof her. Letting Steven get kidnapped is the final straw, and the gems have lost all trust in Twoie. Seeing him helping Peridot, and allowing Steven to help her, makes them believe he is just tricking them all so he can free Peridot and defeat the Crystal gems. The story then continues from here.

Summary: When Twoie accidentally came to the past by messing with Amethyst's janky hourglass, he was happy. He was happier than he was in his timeline. He was needed. He was helpful. But it never crossed his mind that the gems were suspicious of him due to the circumstances of his arrival. Twoie had learned a long time ago that things could always get worse. So why did it always surprise him?

Spin-off of Chapter 11 and 12 of Templeschool. Written so it can be read as a stand-alone story. Periodic updates, probably monthly. Based on a the request by Clinohumite, "What-if the gems thought Twoie wasn't who he said he was and accidentally killed him?"

I just want to say thank you. Thank you all so much for reading this story. As E3m0nch0 pointed out to me, it’s been 7 months since I started this story. To think it’s finally finished is bittersweet, and I can only hope I’ve created a satisfying ending for you all. I started this story because I was in love with @sutimetravelau’s Into the Universe. Summary: It’s been about a week since Twoie reverted back to his original form. Although he’s still dealing with his issues, things have been a lot better. His dad is visiting a lot more often, he and Steven have found a new mom in Priyanka, and the gems are actively learning how to avoid hurting the brothers again. As Twoie enjoys the changes in his family, he has to decide what to do when the hourglass is fixed. Should he leave? Or should he stay?
