May I please request a part 2 of guilty conscionse? I loved it! Preferably one where hero finally breaks and as villain is trying to save them, they are crying and begging them not to hurt them.
Thank you for the request, I hope you'll like it! Unfortunately (for the hero mostly), there won't be any rescue attempts in this one yet. But we'll get there eventually xD
Guilty Conscience #2
[Masterlist: Renegade Rescue Squad] [Part 1]
Synopsis: neither the little hero nor Villain are enjoying their stay in Other Villain's torture dungeon.
tw: whump, captivity, talk about torture, needles
“You’re quite right, birdie,” Other Villain said with a shrug. They’d put the magnets back into a pocket of their lab coat. “A less fatal approach is indeed preferable. I should learn to not be so wasteful; such beautiful specimens are hard to come by.”
Villain suppressed the furious urge to scream.
The hero was a person.
And what a person they were – fuelled by foolish hope and ardent convictions, a daredevil spirit in a teenager’s body. Calling them a specimen… Other Villain was a sadistic monstrosity, even more so for thinking themself a scientist.
“We do have more sustainable options.” A smirk spread on Other Villain's face. This psychopath Villain had so recklessly allied himself with was circling the little hero again. Prowling. Assessing. Scrutinising. “We can take our time, get to know each other. I could familiarise you with my rather extensive collection of bacteria colonies, all stored in adorable little Petri dishes. One of my favourite hobbies – my pride and joy.”
The hero looked calmer than they should be. How could they listen to this and remain sane? The gleam in Other Villain’s eyes alone made Villain nauseous enough as it was and he wasn’t even on the receiving end of their attention.
He shouldn't be here. This entire alliance had been an enormous mistake, but he only had himself to blame. He’d been aware of his colleague’s reputation from the start. But since this was going to be just a temporary team up, he hadn’t though… well.
He hadn’t thought.
Oh, how convenient it had been to turn a blind eye to tales of horror when he hadn’t yet had to witness any such atrocities in person, when the likelihood of taking prisoners during their limited time working together had seemed so slim, when Other Villain hadn’t expected him to stand by and watch as they ripped apart a living breathing human being.
And if he told them to stop, would he be next? – Possibly.
He cursed silently.
The hero started squirming in their bonds with renewed vigour when Other Villain stepped closer and loomed over them, gleefully jabbing a finger into the hero’s upper arm. Other Villain started listing bacteria they could infect their poor victim with and instruments they might use to accomplish the task.
“Now, a subcutaneous injection with so-called ‘flesh-eating’ bacteria…”
Villain had stopped listening. He was observing the rise and fall of the hero’s chest, keeping count, calculating. Their respiratory rate was definitely above 25 breaths per minute. Elevated. Perhaps close to hyperventilation, though the breathing seemed too shallow. Their pulse was probably—
“No!” the little hero shrieked.
Other Villain had produced a syringe with a clear liquid from their pocket and was trailing the needle tip down their trembling captive’s arm, taunting.
The hero shook their head. “No, no, no, don’t…”
“Not to worry,” Other Villain said, their tone a mockery of reassurance, “it’s going to be just fine. While an untreated infection might result in your death within a week or so, if you start begging early enough – and trust me, you will – I could still save you with antibiotics. For the right price.” They smiled, self-satisfied and cruel. “This method has the additional advantage of being repeatable.”
The hero looked about ready to faint or spiral into mindless panic. One more ghastly tale or mention of bacterial infections might push the poor thing over the edge for good. Yet somehow, they appeared to have retained a modicum of self-possession, because even now they managed to narrow their eyes and glare.
“Why are you like this?” they asked, and the wobble in their voice did not undermine the venom in their tone, though tears had begun to roll down their cheeks. “You’re seriously screwed in the head, you fucking freak.”
“I think” – Other Villain cackled – “you might have a point there.”
They thrust the needle into the hero’s arm.

BnHA Ch. 365: Review, parallels & comparisons - Part 1, Tenko & Mirko
One of the reasons I love this manga is the way Horikoshi pulls the rug out from under the readers and toys with his own audience. Killing the most popular character towards the beginning of a battle is one thing, doing it to develop the villain is a true power move. This chapter made it increasingly clear that it’s all about Tenko (the symbolic “essence” of who Shigaraki really is, un-tainted by AFO). Unlike rewound AFO, who is just a (powerful) dude that can be taken down by one man, TomurAFO simply cannot be hurt on the outside.
Tumblr media
TomurAFO’s only “weakness” is his emotional state. The heroes MUST save little Tenko, imprisoned by AFO and unable to express himself except — it seems — through TomurAFO’s right hand and occasional shouting outbursts. We saw in the Star battle that TomurAFO will use his right hand to kill, but somehow he held back for Dabi and for Bakugo. People who could be his friends. And he uses his right hand to cover his face when he’s defending himself.
Tumblr media
It makes sense because Tenko wanted to be All Might. He loved heroes, and when he killed his family, thought he’d be saved by one. Shigaraki even tells us in MVA that if anyone had reached out to help, maybe “the itch would have gone away for good.” But nobody did. Tenko thought it was probably punishment for killing his family. Even worse, Tenko was so traumatized and “racked with guilt” that he couldn’t speak up and ask for help himself. (Sound familiar?) AFO took him in, but only for the purpose of crafting him into a meat puppet. TomurAFO knows that AFO never truly cared about him, and is near certain he’ll never feel good again. Shigaraki even says in MVA, right before the “why not destroy everything?” panel, that the weight in his heart will never go away, even if hero society comes crashing down, even if he rises to rule the underworld, and that’s WHY he should decay everything that annoys him. It’s a fatalistic mindset grounded in hopelessness. In this context, it’s logical that TomurAFO is angry over multiple heroes working desperately to save a “destroyed” Bakugo.
Tumblr media
Not only did no hero save Tenko (not even a D-lister) while the UA kid gets 3 out of the Top 5 heroes helping him, the heroes’ hope and determination is proof that destruction won’t make his heart stop hurting. Even with a perfect body and global destruction at hand, he won’t feel good. Destruction is only a temporary salve.
It’s Mirko who blocks TomurAFO from lashing out and stopping Edgeshot and Best Jeanist from helping Bakugo, so of course, he turns his attention to her. When she proves she’s willing to go all “127 Hours,” tearing off her own arm to stay alive and protect the impromptu heart surgery, TomurAFO stumbles. As he’s thinking about Bakugo’s big hit on him, Mirio permeates to block his eyes and distract from Mirko setting up her next attack. When Mirko gets close, she yells that she won’t die with regrets left on the table. TomurAFO is stunned, which allows Mirko’s Luna Rush to connect with full force.
Unfortunately, this riles up Tenko because he doesn’t want to die with regrets either. He still shoulders unbearable guilt over killing his family (and, in the case of his father, wanting to kill), and nobody has ever done anything to help him with that. The heroes are doing their damndest to revive a dead child, but nobody wanted to look at Tenko, let alone revive his family. As his “perfect” body shifts and changes into its “ideal” form, we see people emerging from his flesh. I can’t quite tell if it’s the family he wants to see again or the people who failed to help him (so he can punish them?). Either way, his body is manifesting his psychological pain as Tenko’s hair gets lighter, his eyes get darker, and his skin gets itchy.
Tumblr media
I’m both excited and scared to see TomurAFO’s and the heroes’ reaction. Trauma manifesting as flesh people can’t be a good sign. But I’m also keeping a close eye on Tenko — what will happen when the itchiness/urge to destroy overtakes Tenko while TomurAFO still has his quirks erased? Because the only time he feels good is when he has power to achieve his dreams, whether that’s to become a hero OR destroy it all (and AFO is the one who taught Tenko to soothe the itch with destruction rather than family or heroism).

A questionnaire for my favorite? Thank you so much, even the effort you put into the questions is lovely. Oh this looks like fun, so I couldn’t resist ~
1. Green and actually the exact same shade like Yoichi
2. Yes, very fertile. My whomb reminds me every month of its fertility with a bloody slaughter fest
3. It would be fine,  but probably not necessary. Green eyes, slim built, same hair structure...
4. Tracking devices and cameras are very important for the... safety of children. Better safe than sorry
5. Absolutely, I hate my job anyways and kind of want to see the world burn, so as long as the house got a window from which I can see the fire, staying at home is fine
6. Adopted children are fine, especially when they are as cute as Yoichi. Biological children in addition would be nice though
7. I can cook japanese and western meals as well as a few korean meals. I’m also great at baking sweet treats. I’ve been told that my chocolate cake is to die for ~
8. I prefer to finish stories, but only if they seem to be worth my while. If the story takes a turn I don’t like I just toss it and remember it for what it’s worth before it turned to shit
9. Honestly it depends on the tie and the man. If the tie isn’t worth the man, the man shouldn’t feel obligated to sink on the level of such pesky fabric. If it is a really stunning tie though, it could elevate his elegance. Although there aren’t many ties that rise to the occasion
10. Demon King, no explanation needed
11. No! Family is so precious even if they need a bit of extra-love or hard-love. It is important to me that family knows how much I love them.
12. Taking care of more children would be fine, even if it is only temporary, especially if I am allowed to... handle them... if they don’t know what is best for them. Tenko seems to be a lovely child, so of course I could take care of him, too. We could play some video games? Are +18 rated gory shooters still considered cool for children his age?
13. All Might is naive and longterm thinking is a major challenge for him. Of course he is a ‘hero’, but aren’t heroes the nail in the coffin for this society?
14. Spikey hair is so basic. Soft short curls are more handsome
15.  Answer C. Obviously. The more bank vaults, the more storage room for precious possessions and loved ones
16. 3 out of 10. There are still people fancying the heroes, but enough people recognize the loop holes and dark pits in the system. I would like to contribute to make the world a 1 out of 10.
17. C would be fine if daddy truly knows best. B would be naive because there would be an obvious power imbalance and it wouldn’t be because of the age gap.
18. We can start with option B and if this doesn’t work, we will end up with option C. But I’m sure that no child of mine would want to be a hero.
19. Again: we can start with B, if B doesn’t work we can try A and if A doesn’t work, C is the solution
20. Yoichi is really a cute name, so of course, Yoichi is perfect
21. Answer C, of course. We can do this as foreplay, too.
22. HOT! HOT! HOT!
23. Answer C. I would be disappointed if he was just a low level villain though.
24. Black is my color, especially if they are floaty clothes with snug waists. Aside from that, black is a great contrast to my very pale skin and makes my green eyes pop.
25. Answer B. True love surmounts even death
26. I’ll try to keep this short since I don’t want to steal to much of his time just in case I’m not his time. If he would like to meet though, I’d be honored to give him a lenghty reminder why he is perfect.
First of all his charisma got my attention. Dark, menacing... and that voice. A perfect deep rumble that is seductive and soothing all the same, but can turn intimidating within a second. His character is truly remarkable. I like a man that just takes what he wants and is not afraid to dream big and live up to his potential. He has the power to change the world and intends to do so. Such drive and dedication. His vision for the future and intellect, the curiosity and capability he puts into collecting and learning to use all those quirks is amazing. The love he has for his family is truly remarkable. It’s sad that his family doesn’t reciprocate the love, yet, he truly deserves it. I would love to support him in his efforts and meanwhile he could have my love, too.
So... what does he think? Should I pick out my nicest black dress for a dinner date or will I end up dead in a ditch with my quirk stolen?
In any case I wish you a nice day and thank you in advance, I already had a great time filling out the questionnaire ~
Finally, someone with the same green eyes as Yoichi! This was finally worth All for One weeding through all the quiz answers and hunting down those who mocked him.
All for One also wants to see the world burn, and he likes his loved ones to stay safely at home, so you two are very much on the same page. In addition, he’s finally found the perfect cook with a wide range! He’ll be happy to make other people die for your chocolate cake.
When you said “If the story takes a turn I don’t like I just toss it and remember it for what it’s worth before it turned to shit” then All for One got up and pumped his fist. Yes! Finally someone gets him! The story Captain Hero was great when the Demon King was invincible but it all went downhill after Captain Hero got several bullshit powerups in a row. Plenty of other people agreed online that Captain Hero got too many deus ex machinas, Yoichi.
All for One is willing to let you fasten his ties because you flattered him so much.
All for One approves of your family values and he’s happy to give permission for Tenko to play gory shooter games. He also appreciated your trashing of All Might and spikey-haired menaces.
Finally, someone who appreciates bank vaults! Someone who wants to help All for One make society even worse! Someone happy to help him vault the children! Someone who appreciates trashing All Might as foreplay! Someone who has standards and only dates top villains! Someone who looks good in black! Most importantly, someone who understands that Yoichi is the perfect name!
Your score is perfect. Your simping made All for One’s ancient heart beat faster. He’s a little in love with you already. It appears he’s coming to pick you up for a date…right now. He can’t wait a moment longer to meet you. Good luck!

Hey Red, what actually happened with Eri in TLWA?
*platonically kisses your forehead and brushes back your hair* Lox always coming through for me.
Just a general FYI that I have So Much Background Lore on TLWA verse and will gleefully talk about it at anytime to anyone who shows the slightest interest.
Anyway! I made the decision early on in planning that the Raid arc would fail. The Shie Hassaikai arc was maybe hmm 1-2 months following All Might's (at the time not publicly known) death. Only a dozen people know AM is dead and a handful know about OFA and Izuku being its intended successor. Nighteye reacts to the death poorly and takes it out on Izuku who is NOT invited to his agency. Not to get sidetracked but I also really liked how that disagreement unfurled with Mirio finding out that Nighteye had been grooming him to replace AM and was unhappy Mido was chosen instead. This is what leads to Mirio leaving Nighteye's agency and developing a close, almost brotherly bond with Izuku.
Anywayyy, I needed Nighteye to fail to demonstrate the difference btw him and Izuku in Toshinori's life. Thus, Eri and Chisake get away. It's the first of a many unsuccessful jobs by Nighteye who has lost the heart for it but also, he didn't adapt to the loss of AM, couldn't see the world changing beyond his hero. He retired in disgrace not long after Izuku is named Symbol of Peace in Rise Up.
Gosh I keep getting sidetracked, Eri stayed with Chisake a few more, miserable, painful years. It sad and tragic but Eri eventually learns no one is going to save her so she has to save herself. It takes planning and perfect timing but one day, when Chisake was torturing her as always, he slipped and she was able to permanently rewind him. She flees. In the meantime, Chisake was now devoted all of his time to the quirk destroying bullets recognizing it as the game changer they are. There's now thousands of vials but, with the primary ingredient (Eri) gone, its now a limited supply. A bunch of ineffective, temporary knockoffs flood the market.
Eri is probably about 8ish? And lives rough for a while, she is forced to use her quirk just to survive and stay out of enemy hands. She is eventually taken in by a group of runaway/abandoned kids who band together and protect each other. It was there, through trial, error and practice she finally gets her quirk under control. She is used at first to run chores, to being the distraction as the cute kid to full on participating in petty theft and such to stay alive. She still fears the retribution of the 8 Precepts and doesn't want to go public so she stays in the underground.
She grows up, stronger and more confident but also bitter and jaded that no one helped her. She's against heroes, not in a villain way but in a 'they can't really help anyway'. In between her small crimes, she does little acts of vigilantism here and there, bc she can't stand to see someone mistreated in front of her, will not ignore suffering. On one of these bursts, she runs into the hero Deku, who's just opened his own agency. Queue a messy, several year long back and forth where Izuku tries to help her and she refuses it, untrusting of his intentions.
But she pays attention to the work he does, how he treats people. He even encourages her vigilantism by giving her info on things he legally can't meddle with. She doesn't quite trust him but she does respect him. She is an angry stray cat he can occasionally get to take a few scraps of love out of his hand. He offered her numerous times to get her legally in the system, to foster her and she never can never accept. She is happy, acting in her own capacity for herself. Just knowing that there are heroes out there like him, it gives her a bit more faith in people. She is happy and fiercely loyal to her people. Maybe someday, she'll want the stability of a normal life but for now, answering to no one and working through her own anger and grief through saving others is what she needs.
Her reputation grows, quietly and under the radar as a silent but incredibly effective vigilante who works the areas no one else does. The police are baffled, Deku has no comment on the matter but he does know this teen who is really kind and really powerful who wishes he had been able to save. But in the end while it wasn't okay, she survived and saved her. And now she's doing the same to other lost boys and girls.

Unwritten fanfic AU for Exandria Unlimited: Calamity
A devious fallen god / infernal being has snuck out of their imprisonment. Knowing it's only temporary, they have a kid and plan to prep the kid to be their new body through which they'll escape (basically complete takeover / evil being doesn't GAF about erasing their kid's soul from existence) ---
--- but then this hero 'rescues' the hidden infernal being and their kid (looking like a father and son who are on the run). The hero is a paladin who has lost his faith as he feels his god is too fickle and stopped him from saving people (guilt over failure to save people). Hero is super giving and kind but stoic. Fallen infernal god (Fig for short) would normally take advantage, but oh no! He's falling for the hero! Hero is adorable around the baby, and suddenly, Fig is realizing he loves the baby too and can't imagine destroying his child (his precious, beautiful baby boy) just as a means to escape his eternal prison.
Hero also falls for Fig, but Fig is conflicted in this redemption arc as hero doesn't know what he is (and he might not fully regret what he's done). Tries to tell him but is afraid. Hero basically gives an 'I know you probably weren't the best person 100% of the time, but I love who you are now, and that's who matters to me' speech. Fig assumes hero realizes the full depths of his situation and they end up getting married. Happy husbands with their adorable son, but Fig isn't stupid. Eventually his wardens will come. The gods will descend and hurt his family, so he plants seeds of divinity in his husband, prepping to cause the hero's ascension to godhood.
Except the gods come early. Fig makes a deal to go back without a huge destructive battle and fakes his death, so that his husband doesn't go looking for him by destroying the earthly body he created. This also saves his son who isn't infernal at all as the rituals were never done (and being around a paladin who is unknowingly regaining his divine powers also helps disguise the boy).
After he's gone, hero is sad and depressed but trying to be there for their son, except a huge event happens and it is revealed he is a paladin who draws on divine energy without needing a patron/god. Everyone is shocked. He becomes this symbol of the post-god age of magic, but he's really just a guy with massive PTSD who wants to make things right with a son who blames him for not saving his other parent. Forced separation happens for one reason or another, but he leaves son with people who can give him that normal life as hero can't escape the strange destiny thrust upon him.
Then years later -- BAM! He starts getting dreams, not knowing they're warnings from Fig who realized that people are trying to usurp the positions of gods, but hero doesn't recognize his husband in those dreams because unlike what Fig thought, hero didn't realize the full depths of what his husband was, but the kindness and immediate protectiveness give Fig hope that his husband will still love him after the full truth is revealed.
Big adventure happens where Fig gets released and it is a clash of the gods. Big reveal that hero is a 'disguised god' and once he realizes his own divinity he will ascend. Hero fights this, desperate to get back to his son who he has only just reunited with, but the gods try to force the separation. This pushes hero over the edge, starting what outwardly looks like a corruption arc / god killer arc, but frankly is still rather heroic from the reader's POV.
Fig also rises to his husband's aid, and the two are these godly figures fighting, which results in their son's magic awakening. He's not a god, but he's damn powerful. Family reunion. Forgiveness all around.
Hero's friends are like WTF but also glad to seem him happy after everything he's gone through. Some jealousy by one or two for his basically seducing a god into giving him godhood but yeah -- that's what's rattling around my head right now.

How much does it cost to rent different types of scaffolding in Malaysia?
Tumblr media
Scaffolding, an integral and indispensable part of any construction or renovation project, serves as a temporary structure that provides safe access to work at various heights. These structures, comprising primarily metal poles and wooden planks, not only ensure the safety of the workers but also improve the efficiency of the construction process.
Scaffolding Malaysia systems come in various types including supported scaffolding, which is solidly grounded; suspended scaffolding, typically used for high-rise window cleaning; mobile scaffolding, for easy manoeuvrability; and adjustable scaffolding, which offers flexibility in height adjustment. Given their crucial role in construction projects, it’s vital to understand the costs associated with renting different types of scaffolding.
Rental costs are not standard and vary based on numerous factors such as the type, size, and height of the scaffolding, duration of the rental, location of the project, and additional services like installation, dismantling, and insurance coverage.
Introducing Scaffolding: More Than Just Metal and Wood
Before we jump into the costs, let’s spend a minute understanding the hero of our story. Scaffolding is more than just a bunch of metal poles and wooden planks. It’s a temporary structure, often seen as an unsung hero of the construction world, that provides safe access to work at heights. The use of scaffolding dates back to ancient times, you know? Trust our ancestors to come up with something so enduring.
There’s a wide variety of scaffolding, each with its quirks and perks. From supported scaffolding that’s solidly grounded and probably the most common type you’ll see around, to suspended scaffolding (think window cleaners on high-rises), mobile scaffolding, and super flexible adjustable scaffolding. It’s a pretty diverse family.
The Price Is Right: Factors That Affect Scaffolding Rental Costs
The cost of scaffolding rental in Malaysia isn’t just pulled out of thin air. It’s influenced by various factors, starting with the type of scaffolding you need. Bigger, more complex types tend to cost more – no surprise there.
The size and height of the scaffolding also play a part. You’ll need more materials for a 10-storey building than for a cute, little two-storey house, right? The duration of the rental can make a difference too. Most rental companies offer better rates for longer periods. It’s like buying popcorn at the movies, the more you buy, the cheaper it gets per kernel!
And let’s not forget the location of your project. If you’re building a villa up in the mountains of Cameron Highlands, it might cost more for the scaffolding to be transported and installed there.
Oh, and remember, the cost isn’t just for the scaffolding itself. There can be additional expenses for installation, dismantling, and sometimes even for the odd insurance or two. No one said construction was a cheap affair!
Let’s Break It Down: The Cost of Renting Different Types of Scaffolding
Bearing in mind all those factors, let’s dive into some approximate costs. Now, I must say, prices can vary quite a bit. It’s always best to ask for several quotes and negotiate.
For a supported scaffolding setup on a small project, you might be looking at around RM1000 to RM2000 per week. Suspended scaffolding tends to be a bit pricier, say RM2000 to RM3000 per week. Mobile and adjustable types are usually somewhere in between. Longer rentals can get you a sweet discount, so don’t be shy about asking!
But hey, don’t forget those hidden costs I mentioned. Things like delivery fees, setup costs, and insurance can add up. And if you need your scaffolding on a public holiday or weekend, that could increase the price too. Always ask for an all-inclusive quote to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Stretching Your Ringgit: How to Save On Scaffolding Rental in Malaysia
Now, if you’re like me, you love a good deal. There are ways to save on scaffolding rental costs. Bundling services, like getting your scaffolding and other equipment from the same company, can get you a discount.
If you know you’ll need the scaffolding for a while, negotiate a long-term rental. You might be surprised at how much you can save. And don’t forget to ask about off-season rates. Construction slows down at certain times of the year, and you could get a bargain.
Before You Rent: Considerations and Tips
Before I wrap up, here are a few final thoughts.
Always understand your needs before you rent. It can be tempting to go for the cheapest option, but that might not be the best for your project. Consider the pros and cons of renting versus buying. If you’re constantly needing scaffolding, it might be cheaper in the long run to buy your own.
And last but not least, never skimp on safety. Choose a reputable rental company. Check their safety records. Make sure they provide proper safety equipment and training. After all, you can’t put a price on health and life, can you?
Well, folks, that’s all from me today. I hope you found this guide helpful. As always, remember to stay safe out there, and keep building dreams!

So This is Ever After by F. T. Lukens
Tumblr media
3 stars out of 5.
Arek was just turned 17 when a drunken old wizard showed up at his front door, claiming he was destined to kill the Vile One, the evil ruler of the realm. He didn't believe it until he found a magical sword in a bog and was enveloped in a beam of light from above, anointing him with supernatural purpose. Arek's vision of a clean slicing of the Vile One's head and the immediate release of all the dark magic in the kingdom doesn't work as well as he had hoped. As Arek muses to himself, apparently magic swords that spring from bogs don't rise self-sharpened.
Convinced by his group of questors to take the Crown until the last living member of the royal family can be found, Arek assures the few people in the throne room that it will be temporary. Unfortunately they discover the princess has been dead for a long time, leaving only a skeleton and a diary mourning the loss of her true love.
Stuck as the new king, Arek is supported by his questing friends. He soon discovers that he must find his soulmate before his 18th birthday or he will literally fade away. The search is on, even if his heart resides with his childhood best friend, Matt, who rejected him when Arek awkwardly tried to reveal his love.
I had high hopes for this one, perhaps too high. Honestly I was bored in some parts, annoyed in others. There is too much "tell, not show", particularly in regards to their quest to eliminate the Vile One and the adventures they experienced along the way. Admittedly this would have probably tripled the book size, and yet THE PRINCESS BRIDE managed it.
I think much of my discontent may be due to the fact that the heroes are too young, or perhaps I'm just not able to deal with Young Adult romances. Nothing turns me off faster than immaturity and miscommunication, although I can accept self-doubt at any age. I get that these traits are typical for the age of the protagonists, but I guess that I'm just too old to deal well with it. I do, however, believe that the intended audience will eat this up, particularly the last few chapters that are suitably melodramatic and filled with angst and all the emotions. I wish I could've leaned more into the story. Maybe you will instead.
