you know what i think we should be talking about more... sex ed in schools. i was talking to my friend the other day about radfem stuff, and i don't remember what led him to say it, but he said to me: "you know what pisses me off? the sex ed i got." we went to the same high school so i know what he means. they taught us everything about males down to how they orgasm, the basic parts of the female reproductive system, and that if you have you will die of every STD or whatever. and then they showed us a video of live birth to promote abstinence (by method of deterring sex, i think). that's it.
i kind of think we should like, talk about it more and start pushing for better sex ed, because this aforementioned friend barely knows anything about my (or any other female's) genitalia. several of my exes, and even friends, didn't know about them either until i told them about it.
like, maybe it's not much, but if we teach about the female reproductive system and female reproductive healthcare like we talk about it for men, it will make some kind of difference. I ALSO THINK SEX ED SHOULD INCLUDE THE DANGERS OF CONSUMING PORN AND ENGAGING IN "KINK" AND MAYBE HOW TO SPOT PREDATORS AND WHY PROSTITUTION IS HARMFUL. i think EVERYTHING about sex should be covered.
idk where i was going with this i kind of just wanted to get the ball rolling and hear stuff from you guys, my beloveds <3
The main problem with terfs ideology is that it assumes that it’s possible to completely deconstruct gender instantly.
Gender and sexuality and the words we used to describe them are always evolving with our societies because who we are gender wise and sexually only has meaning observably in social context. We use gender to communicate what kind of person we are.
Being gender nonconforming in any capacity unapologetically, authentically, and joyfully and facing that aggression towards power, not each other is therefore how we deconstruct gender.
We all feel trapped. We just can’t agree on how to escape. Let’s talk about it more together. I love each and every lost lonely self doubting queer in the world that is aching for real loving community. I want to help make that happen. I love you. Come home.
You’ve been lost for a while, it’s ok. You hurt us, but we’ll forgive you. Block the harassers, delete your hate, and move on. That’s all it takes. We’re all over, waiting for you to find us. But you’re going to have to do some of it offline.
Transgenderism is how we transition from gender, not to gender. Think transcend.
can we please talk about the new season of sex education
i havent finished it yet but i just watched the scene where cal asks hope if she goes into the boy or girl line, and hope says the girl line, because they’re discussing female anatomy. cal has female anatomy. obviously that’s something she needs to know, since you need to know why things happen down there and how to tell if you’re healthy. how are you supposed to know the signs of an std or if something is wrong with your period?
that whole scene made me so mad. why would she go into the boys line and learn about something that doesn’t apply to her? why is this painted as a bad thing?
while i disagree with them dividing the kids up because i think guys should learn about female reproductive health too since none of them know about it, if they are going to divide them, its important for you to learn what is best for you.
i hope im putting this into words correctly. sex ed for girls is bad enough as is, and theres a lot of girls who dont know what they should about sexual health. this scene is making it worse.
I saw this as a picture on Twitter. Teenage boy clearly states he’s a boy who isn’t gay or trans but got paid to be a model for his sister.
But that doesn’t stop TRAs for believing they know him better than he knows himself... First commenter below states “it’s all light hearted fun” after someone shows distain for their comment. Just a joke, it’s totally not pushing to reinforce the idea that feminine men (or in this case, a normal gc boy who let his sister do his make up for money) are actually transwomen.
BONUS: A taste of the MANY sexual comments made about this teenage boy. Doubting all of these people are also teenagers.
Oh thank God we don't come close to looking like TIMs , that shit would have been depressing
"i love black women" , then why are u discrediting them ? It's a known fact that black women are the trendsetters and your grotesque ass is always trying to imitate them , and yet here you are giving all credit to males ...oh wow
girls on tik tok saying they want hysterectomies because “no periods and no kids!!” is going to be the reason I snap istg. your uterus is a whole fucking organ and removing it can cause intestinal prolapse, urinary incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pelvic floor collapse, and chronic pain from scar tissue. hysterectomies should be an absolute last resort as a treatment for severe medical conditions. the way women’s bodies are treated under patriarchy and the lack of education about female anatomy has resulted in teenage girls joking about removing their organs. this isn’t ok.
When mras and libfems are like “support men’s mental health! Men’s mental health is so stigmatized and looked over compared to women’s!” Who was the one seen as hysterical and sent to asylums for feeling any human emotion and being anything other than submissive to men... Who was the ones mostly given lobotomies... Who are the ones being undiagnosed or only being diagnosed as having anxiety or BPD... who are the ones that have PTSD, mostly from male inflicted trauma, yet are completely overlooked and having the disorder being seen as a soldier’s mental illness... Yet women are sooooooooo privileged am I right :)))))))
“We need men! We need men to be construction workers / carpenters / plumbers / electricians!!!” If men never existed, women would be filling those positions. There is nothing special about men that makes them better at these jobs, women are just as capable.
I was watching an interview of a LGB rights activist elder Miriam Ben Shalom, and she was asked about her thoughts on detranstioned lesbian women and she said a really beautiful statement;
"Universally I say to them welcome home sister, we were waiting for you. Glad it didn't take any longer"
Even though I'm not a lesbian, I just feel very grateful for the elder lesbians like Miriam who are standing for us LGB women and are standing for the lesbians who have been harmed by gender ideology. It really warmed my heart the love and compassion our LGB elders have for us.
