Paul and Julian during Magical Mystery Tour, September 24, 1967
These photos were NOT taken by John Lennon, as has been claimed elsewhere.
These photographs, taken by Terry Doran, a friend of John and Cynthia, show four-year-old Julian with Paul on the set of Magical Mystery Tour. Paul is wearing his wizard costume from the film.

It was a beautiful spring day, the sun glistening on the water, almost blinding me as I drove along the Pacific Coast Highway. I couldn’t deny the fact that I was nervous. I hadn’t taken my drugs because I didn’t want to act weird or out of control in front of George. He never was much of a druggie, although at times he drank plenty of alcohol. He’d go through these “clean” phases when he’d stop using any kind of drug but then, without warning, he’d join in and start drinking or using with us. Pattie and I used to joke that we didn’t know if his hand was in the prayer bag or the coke bag.
Chris O'Dell, Miss O'Dell: Hard Days and Long Nights with The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton
When [George} eventually decided to do an album, which was All Things Must Pass, he was nervous about it—but he didn’t talk to me. He went to Chris O’Dell and Terry. Terry became our go-between. I confided in Terry too. We were living in a surreal world with a very creative and eccentric person. Between ourselves we referred to George as Geoffrey; then we could discuss him freely and no one would know whom we were talking about. To gauge his mood, we would ask whether his hands were “in or out of the bag”—meaning his prayer bag. If they were in it, he was in spiritual mode and incommunicado; if they were out, there was a chance of talking to him.

The 60's yet again? Of course, I have to mention The Beatles then. They are the epitome of the period, because they hold their sway over the latter. I mean, they can still release another single – one member's demo repurposed into their own piece – and sell like crazy. Still, one has to notice something about them, which keeps getting forgotten – they allowed themselves to be weird. Don't laugh here, many don't do something in the vein as they achieve such levels of fame. For instance, one of their most famous songs – check the link – might be a warning about nostalgia, yet the piece sounds like they keep pulling your leg to be more observant of what they try to achieve. Are they mocking the theme or making the latter more prominent? Why not both?

New day, new pin reveal. Is that a thing? Let's make that a thing.
We're gradually unveiling some of the pin designs available in the mystery packs on Kickstarter. We'll be adding a dedicated add-on section to the Kickstarter campaign page to lay out what's available and answer some questions people have had about it, so watch this space.

So the Good Omens: Official and Ineffable Graphic Novel is getting a-closer and closer. Here are some fun facts that Colleen Doran shared with us during the Ineffable Con 4.
(These frames featured here are all sneak peeks that have been shared with us; except for the Atlantis one, that is there for comparison purposes and obviously photoshopped Crowley on a horse).
Perhaps as another fun fact: apparently Neil Gaiman started a sort of bet for the Kickstarter campaign- whoever got closer to the total amount would get a cake! Neil actually had the closest bet, but he gave cakes to everyone else instead. Colleen on the other hand said she had the lowest bet.
@colleendoran is truly magnificent! An OG GO fan and once again, we are eternally grateful for your constant hard work!

Good Omens: The Official (and Ineffable) Graphic Novel
I think it's safe to say that the Kickstarter for Coleen Doran's graphic novel adaptation of Good Omens (the novel, not the TV series) will make it, because within less than 24 hours...
I've never seen anything make it to nearly 2100% of it's funding that fast!
