The U-20 team felt a pretty huge shift in the dynamic when 2 certain players joined the team. One of them being Shidou Ryusei and the other one being Itoshi Sae. Now, Oliver as the captain did try and was somewhat successful with getting along with Sae, meanwhile Shidou... well he is a great player but really hard to get along with. But one thing Oliver noticed was that there was a rift and tension between Sae and Shidou, who were by all accounts always the closest to each other. The issue started a month ago when Oliver, and later on the team would notice how much bossier Sae was with Shidou, and the boy was in return a lot snappier with him. It was really getting out of hand and Oliver was ready to rip his hair out. Japan's U-20 team had an image to uphold and the last thing Oliver needed was their manager yelling at him to get them in line.

"You dumbass antena man, focus on the goal!"

"Under eyelashes senior is now the boss around here, huh?"

"Can someone shut them up?" Sendou pointed, tired from all the yelling.

"Why are they even arguing?" Teru questioned.

"God knows." Hayate shrugged his shoulders, watching as Oliver and Niou walked over to the bickering duo and pulled them away from each other.

"Alright! Enough!" The team flinched at Oliver's yell, but kept quiet.

"What's the issue you two? You have been acting like you killed each other's families!" Oliver started as Niou sighed and continued after the captain.

"We are just worried. Not only is this giving an issue to us as a team, but also to you two as a duo on the field." The long-haired boy explained as Sae and Shidou sent each other a side glare. The rest of the team kept quiet and watched the two as the huffed and looked away from each other. Oliver was pretty much speechless, he expected this from Shidou... but never from Sae of all people.

"This must be quite serious, Sae would act more mature otherwise." Teppei whispered to his friends and Miroku told them to be quiet.

"Spit it out." Oliver demanded and it seemed like Shidou finally broke.

"Under eyelashes senior here is butthurt his crush likes me more."

"I am not! All I said was that (Y/n) picking you as her boyfriend will come to bite her." Sae said back, shocking the team even more now.

'Shidou...Shidou has a girlfriend?!'

"Did I just hear correctly?" Hayate questioned with wide eyes and looked at his friends. Miroku and Teru slowly nodded their heads as Teppei and Sendou kept quiet, but were equally wondering how truthful that statement was.

'No way... he got a girlfriend before me?' Sendou thought with a huff.

'Ehh? I can't imagine Shidou with anyone.'

"What?" Niou raised an eyebrow as he closed Oliver's open mouth.

"Shidou basically got a girlfriend, way above his league if I may add." Sae repeated.

"Shut the hell up!"

"You know I am right. She literally could have had anyone, why you?" Sae said as his anger raised again, causing Shidou to smirk.

"Turns out my personality is more appear to her."

"Wait... Shidou has a girlfriend?" Oliver blurted out, causing the two to look at him.

"Yeah, they have been going out for a month." Sae rolled his eyes.

"Something you will never experience, might I add." Shidou chimed in.

"You two...are joking with us? Right?" Sendou suddenly spoke up as they raised their eyebrows.

"No?"

"You sure? Sae that was a good joke." Miroku let out a laugh as Hayate and Teppei held back their laughters too. Niou tried to calm them down while Oliver tried to stop Shidou from yelling.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" The blonde asked, taking offense at their reactions.

"It's just...you don't seem dateable..." Teppei answered, earning a nod from Hayate.

"You are too loud."

"And you say weird stuff at times."

"Sorry, but there is no way someone is dating you." The statements caused Shidou's anger to rise even more, but along with that also came the insecurities. He could handle Sae saying those things, since he is pretty jealous of his relationship, but hearing people who are pretty much strangers to him say those things... it really stung.

"I think you are capping."

"Yeah... Sae and Shidou stop joking around-"

"Wait Sendou... who is your girlfriend?" Oliver asked, trying to wrap his head around this whole concept. Shidou wanted to answer the question, he did. He wanted to show off his cute, beautiful and funny girlfriend to everyone. But one part of him wanted to keep that part quiet, private. Sae knowing about her was enough as it is, he didn't need them to know it too.

'Especially when they don't seem to believe it anyways.' Shidou said nothing as he walked off towards the locker room, sending a warning glare as Niou and Teppei tried to get the name out of him.

"Enough joking... let's just get changed. Our training session is over." Hayate said as he pointed at the clock.

"Sae, can you please tell us who the girlfriend is?" Teru wondered.

"Yeah, otherwise we will think this is a joke." Oliver added in but the redhead just shrugged his shoulders.

"Believe whatever you want. I am not saying anything out of my respect for her. When she feels like meeting you guys, you will know."

While everything was going on outside, Shidou was in the locker room enjoying how quiet it was. He somewhat cooled down from the fight and his mind kept wandering off to (Y/n).

'Ahh~ just her cute face could make any of my bad days good. She is so kind and sweet, the World really doesn't deserve her. I wonder what she is up to.' Shidou thought, growing a little agitated.

'I didn't see her at all in the past 3 weeks, stupid Blue Lock and Ego... keeping her away from me like that.' Shidou pouted. He really missed her and hoped to get the chance to see her before that match with her team.

'Seems like it's just wishful thinking.'

Teru yawned as he walked down the hallway from the bathroom. After such an eventful day he just wanted to get dressed and go home to sleep.

'Maybe a good dinner and some movies would be a good idea.'

"Excuse me, do you know if Shidou Ryusei is still here?" The boy jumped up at the sound of a unfamiliar feminine voice from behind him. Turning around, Teru was surprised to find none other than Blue Lock's manager, (L/n) (Y/n). The boy's face turned beet red and slowly nodded his head.

"Y-yeah... why do you need him?" Teru asked shyly as the girl grinned at his answer.

'She is even prettier than on TV!'

"I need to see him, can you please call him or bring me to him?" She asked and Teru quickly nodded his head, laughing nervously.

"Of course! Follow me, sorry if I am jumpy a little."

'She will think I am weird now...' Teru thought nervously, internally facepalming at his own behavior.

"It's fine, my team is the same right now. Probably excited for the match coming up?" (Y/n) asked in a reassuring manner as Teru slowly nodded his head.

"Y-yeah..."

'Her voice is so soft...'

"Shidou!" The group turned to look at Teru as he ran into the changing room.

"What?" The blonde asked in annoyance, still mad at the way they spoke to him earlier. Teru took a few deep breaths as he tried to calm the redness on his face down.

"The...the manager fo Blhe Lock wants to see you..." Teru panted out. The blonde's frown turned into a grin as he quickly packed his things.

"What?! (Y/n) is outside?" Teppei and Miroku asked with wide eyes as Oliver grinned at the news. Niou and Hayate kept quiet along with Sae. The older Itoshi became restless at the mention of (Y/n)'s name while the other 2 grew a lot more nervous.

"Later, losers." Shidou chuckled and ran out with his bag.

"Hold it- Why is she even here?" Niou wondered as Teru spoke up again.

"It turns out the girlfriend Sae and Shidou talked about was (Y/n)."

The room grew quiet as Sae quietly left the room, hoping to catch up to the duo before they left.

'Shidou...'

'Is dating...'

'(Y/n)...' Sendou, Hayate and Miroku thought as Oliver's eye twitched.

"What do you mean?! No way did that guy get to her first!" Oliver yelled as Niou nodded his head.

"She was probably blackmailed into dating him."

"True. (Y/n) seems so sweet and kind..." Teppei started.

"And beautiful, she puts all the idols I know to shame." Sendou sighed dreamily.

"I also heard she is so considerate. I heard she always makes snacks for her team." Hayate chimed in.

"Forget that! Did you see the way she holds herself when talking to the reporters?!" Oliver added in with a blush.

"Yeah...she has to be blackmailed." Miroku concluded as silence fell among the group.

They looked between each other and at the door as Niou cleared his throat.

"I need to go to the toilet."

"Hold it! Why did you take your bag-" Before Hayate could finish his sentence, Niou was already outside the locker room.

"Hey!" Oliver yelled, running after his teammate and the rest joining in.

"I hope you like it! It's like a good luck charm for the upcoming matches!" (Y/n) grinned as Shidou held the necklace she bought him a few days back. It was a simple, 4 leaf clover pendant on a gold chain, but it did make Shidou's heart race a little and his face turned red from the attention.

"Thanks, th-this means a lot. I didn't get anything for you." Shidou said, getting a little shy from the sudden gift and (Y/n) shook her head.

"I am happy and fulfilled as long as you are, Ryu."

'So adorable! And all mine!'Shidou thought as his cheeks started heating up and he coughed.

"Want to eat something? There is a good restaurant-"

"Are we eating somewhere?" Shidou felt like all the rage he previously felt came rushing back as Sae appeared put of nowhere, putting his arms around (Y/n)'s shoulders.

"Sae-san?! Where did you come from?" The girl wondered, a little startled by his appearance. Shidou watched with a snarl as Sae turned his stone cold look to a much softer one as he glanced at (Y/n).

"Good to see you, (Y/n). You look just as pretty as the last time I saw you." The girl blushed a little at the comment as Shidou pulled her our of his grip and glared even harder at Sae.

"We, as in (Y/n) and I will go and eat now. You can go somewhere else." Shidou said as he started pushing (Y/n) in front of himself.

"Ryu, you don't have to push me.... but I feel a little bad..." (Y/n) admitted in embarrassment as the two stopped and looked back at Sae. Shidou raised his eyebrow, wondering what she actually meant.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Sae is your friend, maybe we could invite him along. He probably wants to eat with us too." (Y/n) smiled softly as Shidou felt his heart crack a little.

'She is so considerate! That Itoshi doesn't deserve this level of kindness! My cute, little girl.' Shidou thought as he poked her cheeks.

"Ryu~" She pouted as the boy chuckled.

"You are so adorable... Fine, we could invite Sae along." Shidou sighed, as he really couldn't say 'no' to (Y/n).

"Ahh~ Shidou? Is that your lovely girlfriend?" The blonde boy flinched as he heard Niou's voice and the two turned to look at the group. The blonde tightly grabbed onto (Y/n)'s hand as they observed the group. Shidou watched in horror and anger as he noted all their expressions as (Y/n) waved at them.

"Hello!" She exclaimed.

Niou, Hayate and Miroku had the most normal expression, just a small blush on their cheeks. Teppei hid behind a blushing Miroku as he sent (Y/n) a few glances here and there.

'So cute~ she is even more adorable in real life.' Teru, Oliver and Sendou where meanwhile blushing messes as they stared at (Y/n) and waved at her.

"It's so lovely to see you, (Y/n)-san. We weren't aware you and Shidou were dating." Niou spoke up as he walked closer to them.

"Yeah! Congratulations." Miroku added in as Teppei followed them.

"Can I get a picture with you?"

"Me?!" (Y/n) asked the boy in confusion as Sendou and Oliver chirped in.

"Yes, it would be lovely."

"You look even lovelier than a kpop or jpop idol."

"A-ah... Thank you, Sendou-san." The girl blushed a little as Teru and Hayate chimed in.

"Move a little, Shidou- Can I get a picture with you too?"

"Can you please be our manager? The old man is annoying." Hayate groaned, earning a hit on the head from Oliver.

Shidou watched in disbelief as his teammates tried to chat up his girlfriend, his jealousy close to reach its limit.

"Told you that (Y/n) is a real eye catcher." Sae snorted, equally annoyed at the scene.

"Shut it! I know...it's my (Y/n)... my girl we are talking about."

Oh god. Teru is going to die.

He hadn’t expected an explosion, hadn’t put up a barrier. The heat and pain caught him off guard, so he hadn’t even been able to stop himself from being tossed away, or been able to cushion his fall. How embarrassing. How… stupid.

He hopes Kageyama-kun doesn’t see-

Wait. Kageyama-kun. Did he get caught in the explosion too? He’s- he’s better than Teru though, so he probably was able to put up a barrier in time… but he’s not better. No one is better than anyone else. Hasn’t Teru learned anything? But- but Kageyama-kun is stronger at least. That’s- that’s just objectively true.

Teru tries to push himself off the ground, to sit up. His arm gives out and he falls back with a choked cry. What hurts more? His arm? His chest? His leg?

A blast of power shakes the area.

Oh. Teru relaxes some. Whatever happens to him, Kageyama-kun is okay at least.

Teru really is for sure going to die though. Even if his current injuries aren’t enough to do him in, which they probably are with the way every breath is an increasingly painful struggle… Kageyama-kun’s footsteps are too loud.

Kageyama-kun doesn’t hurt people. But that doesn’t matter when he’s like this, does it? He hopes- he hopes Kageyama-kun doesn’t remember when he wakes up. He hopes-

Kageyama-kun steps into view and Teru stops thinking about anything other than breathing through his fear and pain. A tear rolls off the side of his face and into his ear.

“Kage… yama… kun,” he wheezes, and can say no more. Blank white eyes bore into his own and all he can think is, ‘are you going to kill me?’

But Kageyama-kun only turns away after a moment. He doesn’t leave. But he doesn’t attack Teru either, or do anything else.

The pain starts to lessen and Teru realizes that it doesn’t really matter if he’s dying anyway. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath-

Huh? Each breath comes easier. Nausea and lightheadedness dissipate. Teru lifts his arm to watch a nasty burn slowly fade to reveal perfectly healthy skin.

It’s not long before Teru risks sitting up and finds his body to be completely fine. His clothes are ruined, though. … Just like when that broccoli grew last year.

“Kageyama-kun…” he looks up at the figure standing so close. “Did you heal me?” There’s no other explanation, of course. Still, he asks. He doesn’t know what else to say.

Kageyama-kun hunches his shoulders. A moment later, his hair lays flat.

“Huh? What happe- Ah! Hanazawa-kun!” Kageyama-kun turns around, himself again, and looks Teru up and down. “Are you alright?”

Teru blinks. Then a smile tugs his face and he huffs a small, relieved laugh. “Thanks to you, Kageyama-kun.” He pulls himself to his feet and claps his friend on the shoulder. “You’re amazing as always.”

- Teru and you haven’t been talking much recently

- All because he was hanging out with someone who asked him out

- Teru has been friends with this person for a long time, and though you didn’t want to tell him who he should be friends with, it made you very angry

- You could tell this person still had feelings for him but Teru didn't seen to notice or care

- But when this person finally started to become more clingy with your boyfriend in front of you

- And this person knew you were dating Teru

- that's when you got pissed off

- You eventually confronted Teru about his“friend” and told him that they upset you

- Teru didn’t see a problem with it and your talk turned into an argument

- You two ended up fighting so bad you two ghosted each other

- And Teru was stubborn

- You stayed at school late and was walking home when you felt like you were being watched

- You used your phone camera to look behind you and you noticed someone who was wearing all black standing not too far away

- You ignored it, continuing your way home

- But when you got the weird feeling again, you looked to see the person not too far behind you again

- You felt your stomach drop, now knowing he was following you

- While you walked, you acted like you were taking a selfie and took a photo of the person in the background of the photo

- You messaged you boyfriend, saying this person was following you and you didn’t know what to do

- But he wasn’t checking his notifications from you, he was upset

- He wanted a night to cool off from the fight, thinking he will be able to talk to you tomorrow

- He was wrong about the reason you were calling.

- The next morning he went to school but you weren’t there

- It was odd

- By the time the lunch bell rang, he went to check his phone and thats when he saw those messages

- His heart sank when he realized why you weren’t at school.

- He quickly called your parentals, asking if you were okay

- Luckily for him, you survived but you were in the hospital after being stabbed 13 times

- Teru took the rest of the day off, waiting for more news

- After a day, the hospital allowed people to visit you and Teru was the first person to see you that day

- When he saw your condition, he felt his chest tighten

- He felt like this was his fault. You messaged him about this person following you and he didn’t help at all

- He couldn’t help you when you needed him too

“Y/n?” Teru knocked on your hospital door, walking into your room. You turned to him and felt your chest tighten seeing him. Last time you two talked, it was an argument and you thought you would never be able to see him again.

“T-Teru-“ You were about to speak but he quickly cut you off.

“Don’t say sorry. I should be the one apologizing. You told me about a concern you had and I didn’t take your feelings into consideration. I acted like a child when I ghosted you and if I looked at your messages… maybe you wouldn’t be in the hospital. I’m sorry Y/n…” Tears formed in Teru’s eyes as he could barely make eye contact with you. He felt like a jerk for igorning you for such a dumb reason.

“Teru… look at me..” He faced you when you called. “I love you so much, thank you for coming to visit me. I forgive you and I’m glad we were able to talk again.” You smiled softly.

“I am too… I’m so glad you are okay” Teru sat down on a chair next to you.

“I am as well, because I get to see you again” You giggled softly and his cheeks turned red. He leaned in and kissed your forehead softly

“I love you, Y/n”

“I love you too, Teru”

- Kou is very sweet and open minded so it’s hard to actually get in a fight with him

- But it’s possible

- Kou loves you but he doesn’t like seeing you in danger

- If you are anywhere near a bad supernatural (for him, that will be Tsukasa-) he will tell you to stay as far away as possible

- If you don’t listen to him, that's when a fight break out

- And this was an intense fight

- You both said some things you shouldn't have

- And you both went home angry

- He was rethinking if he might have been a bit too harsh on you

- But at the same time Kou doesn’t like to be the one being wrong.

- Why couldn’t you just understand that all he wanted to do is protect you

- He wants you to rely on him

- He slowly started to remember the fight that happened between you two so he decided to take his mind off by hanging out with Teru and Tiara

- Not to mention he needs to make dinner

- So he put his phone on his bed and left his room

- While you on the other hand decided to take a walk around the park in the evening

- Deciding how you two could make it up for one another

- You felt bad for not leaving since you know he only wanted to protect you

- But at the same time it annoyed you that he always babied you

- As if you need to be protected 24/7

- You were suddenly startled by the sudden voice next to you

- „Excuse me miss/mister do you by any chance have a lighter? I need it for my cigarette“

- You saw the man having some weapon in the pocket and that made you nervous

- There was no near shop to help you either

- So you doing the most idiotic thing you could do

- Turned around to fight the person

- You can guess how it all ended up

- Kou came back after a tiresome day

- He checked his phone

- And let me tell you the shock he had after seeing your Message being „help“ „stalker“ „weapon“ ect. And many keyboard smashes

- He looked through all the photos and videos to find your location while grabbing his weapon and some bandages(just in case)

- And after figuring out in what park you were he ran as fast as he could ready to beat someone up

- After about 15 minutes he finally arrived and Oh my god he was glad he arrived on time

- You were on the ground bleeding out BUT still alive

- he quickly kneeled down next to you

- „s/o are you okay??? where are they?! Stay with me“

- Kou couldn’t think straight

- And all you could whisper is just „help“

- Kou took out his phone called an ambulance while taking out his bandages and wrapping them around you

- „Please s/o …stay with me. I still didn’t get the chance to properly apologize to you!!“

- You softened your face smiling at him

- „S/o? S/o!! Keep your eyes open please!!! S/O!!!!“

- You slowly woke up in a bright room

- The sun started to set and you decided to walk back home

- You didn’t even notice you were being followed until it was too late

- You were pulled into an alley, not too far away from the school

- You were in a semi-crowded area so you wanted to be seen as fast as you could

- You tried to run away from the person who pulled you in

- But he had a weapon

- Before you could do anything else, you were shot in your leg and you fell to the ground

- The sound of the gun shot alerted people and you soon heard screaming

- The gunman run off and you could hear more shot being fired

- You shook, your leg bleeding

- You needed to tell someone

- You quickly called Amane but got no answer

- You messaged him and messaged him

- But he wasn’t looking at his messages

- He heard the buzzing on his phone but he ignored it, still mad at what you said to him

- Your cries of help turned into pleading and sorrys, thinking that this might be the last time you talked to him

- Your started saying “Amane, I’m shot in the leg, help me” to “I’m sorry for fighting, I love you so much, i don't want to leave you…”

- Soon police came and took you to the hospital

- And Amane had no idea what was going on…

- The morning came and Amane had slept on things

- He calmed down quite a bit and that's when he decided to read the messages

- He felt his heart sink when he slowly started to read the messages

- He skipped school that day, rushing to the hospital where you were at

- He begged the doctors to let him see you, tears in his eyes

- However, they said no, saying you were seeing a doctor at the moment

- So Amane waited passionately, trying to stop crying

- But soon he was allowed to see you

“Knock knock…” Amane knocked on the door as he said this, a small smile on his face.

“Yugi…?” You looked up at him.

“Hey… I’m sorry I didn’t see your messages sooner..” He said softly, sitting on a chair next to you. His eyes were red from crying and he could barely look you in the eye. He was a terrible boyfriend.

“It’s fine… I am alright now though.. well, kind of…”

“I’m just glad you survived… I couldn’t bare to lose you the way we left things” He felt tears starting to form in his eyes again.

“Amane… hey… it’s okay now, I’m not leaving you” You reached an arm out to him, wanting to cup his cheeks. He smiled softly and walked over to you, placing your hand on his cheek.

“I know we both said some things we shouldn’t have… but let’s forget about that, alright?” He nodded his head to your words.

“Yes… I’m so sorry… I love you so much..” He kisses the palm of your hand “We shouldn’t be fighting over dumb things.. I promise to be a better boyfriend, I will make every moment count..”

I saw something similar to this happening in two of my favorites stories and I was like fuck off, I'll write about it!!

I enjoyed writing this SO MUCH!!! I hope you enjoy reading it too ❤️

One day an interesting aparition started to wander around the school, no one really knows from where it came from or how long it has been here, not even the supernaturals knows about it, even the leader of the seven misteries were surprised the first time he saw you

Hanako, as the leader of the seven, has to make sure you wouldn't be here to cause problems to humans or supernaturals, so when he finally noticed you he started making his research, aproaching you in hopes to solve this peacefuly (and dragging Yashiro and Kou with him). Words more or words less, Hanako was very clear with his intention to know you better, mainly your name and your reason to be there, however he encounter a problem that he would never guess it could happen, you cannot answer his question because you don't know the answer

All of them were surprised by your answer but tried to help you remeber, is normal to ghosts to don't remember about their previous life as humans so they just assumed it was that (or wanted to believe that it was that), is more likely that they end up dragging you around the school in hopes that something, anything could bring you memories (honestly, it was more Kou and Yashiro's idea), they drag you all around the school, the classrooms, the clubs, even where the borders are but nothing was of use, you couldn't remeber anything, you couldn't even remember your name

The whole situation was not only weird but also suspicious, deciding to move forward more cautiously all of them (mostly by Hanako's hand) started to drag you with the supernaturals in hopes that they could be of help, even just an advice could be of use. When the options began to run out they opted to even try to search for your book with Tsuchigomori, but it was usless since you don't know your name; as last resource they visited the first mistery, asking their help in an attempt to know more about your past, but they couldn't help neither because you don't have a past

In a attempt to be able to solve the confusing puzzle you are, Kou had even resorted to ask Teru for his help, making him promise that he won't get violent with you (or Hanako) right away before even letting him meet you, Teru accepted only because his brother asked him and for how he talked about you he actually wanted to know you (because he wanted to make sure you weren't just hiding your intentions and be a threaten), but the moment Teru finally met you he was completely taken aback, he take a full moment to watch you closely, trying to comprehend you, but at the end his conclusion wasn't better than from the others, according with Teru you shouldn't be even here, you weren't human but you weren't a supernatural neither, you simply aren't anything, even when they can see you, talk to you and even touch you you just don't exist

No matter what they do to try to help you or find out more about you, the more they try the more strange the situation turns to be, they can't help to feel completely worry about you, specially when you don't seem too bothered by it, yes, you may be surprised by everything and worried at first but no matter what else you find out there is always the feeling inside of you that tells you that it is okay, you don't have to afraid since this is the way it should be

At some point, and thanks to their help, you did finally was able to understand that you being here was an error, some time ago you had given up to not only your life but your complete existance, you had been completely erradicated from the world for a greatest good, something that, in your eyes, was totally worthy of the sacrifice you were doing and you don't feel any kind of regret about your decision, even if at this point you don't remember anything about it and you know you shouldn't even be there you were at peace about it

Hanako was completely confused, he didn't undestand at all, Yashiro were terrified by the posibility of you don't existing and even being an error your presence, and Kou couldn't just bring himself to even accept that fact, it was too much to process for the poor guys, and yet seeing you take this situation so naturally was even more confusing. They couldn't just undestand nor accept the fact that you shouldn't exist

How could you say that you don't exist or shouldn't be here when they can see you and touch you? You had even became their friend! All this time that all of you were trying to trying to find answers you had share a lot, you were having fun, getting all confused and worried together, and all of that wasn't a lie, you did laugh and worry with them, you talked and shared a lot with them, you can't just came and say that you shouldn't be here now

By trying to help you (and probably try to cope with the shock) Yashiro bring out the thought that since you are here then you exist! even if the world refused to aknowledge you they can see you and that is more than enough for them to know that you exist, so with that it mind Yashiro, followed by Kou and Hanako, were now determinated to give you a new life, to aknowledge your existance, and the first step to do that was giving you a name

Why does teru hate supernaturals so much

I think the best chapters you could read to get a feel for Teru's dislike of supernaturals would be 9, 10, 72, and 97.

Teru explains in ch. 72 that because being an exorcist is a 24/7 job, he hasn't had a day off in years. We've seen that Teru has been working as one since he was at least 8, which means he had zero time to enjoy his childhood.

Just look! AidaIro even drew art of him staring longingly at an arcade. Poor little guy...

This isn't the long and short of it, but it paints a pretty bleak picture. I wouldn't exactly be able to blame him for hating supernaturals out of resentment for this alone.

Being forced to fight supernaturals since he was young has given Teru many opportunities to see the uglier sides to them, as well. We've already seen some pretty nasty ones in the manga, haven't we? And I'm sure Teru has seen supernaturals bring real harm to people, whether that be through lifelong injury, mental scars, or worse, death itself.

Not only is all of that traumatizing, but he was indoctrinated into being an exorcist at a ridiculously young age. I haven't heard a single character bring this up as problematic in the manga itself, despite the very real danger Teru was facing. Kou admires him and was even jealous about it, since Kou was stuck doing household chores instead.

This just goes to show that Kou has been indoctrinated, too, but Teru feasibly has no reason to blame anything but supernaturals for his lot in life. If there were no supernaturals, he wouldn't have to keep doing this--and why would he ever blame the very people he's working for? They're the good guys, the ones fighting to protect the innocent. It could even be his very own father making him do this. How ungrateful he would look to cast any blame on his father and the senior exorcists...

Eh, now that last part is me guessing a little, but given that we've only ever seen Teru express dislike for supernaturals, I think it's a valid reading of his character. That said, I don't think he's entirely brainwashed, and I could still easily see him acknowledging that what happened to him wasn't fair and harboring secret resentment towards the exorcists. It's just inappropriate to express that aloud, and especially in the very loud way Teru expresses hate for supernaturals. It also makes more sense for him to like the exorcists more by default because he associates positive things with them, unlike supernaturals which have been nothing but bad news.

Teru is a great character in the manga since I feel it's easy to understand why he is the way he is, but he hides so much behind a facade (like Hanako) it's hard to know what he's really thinking sometimes. Writing this post has made this very clear to me. Given that we have seen Teru react very immaturely at times, though, I imagine that his hatred doesn't stem from some super deep and logical reason. And since his mother was revealed to have died from postpartum complications, I doubt there was some tragic childhood event involving supernaturals that made him this way, either. His childhood itself is the tragic event. (._.`)

So in conclusion, I think Teru hates supernaturals because he was indoctrinated from a young age to fear and eradicate them, that this constant exposure to the ugly side of supernaturals has only cemented this hatred, that his 24/7 exorcist job has been a source of great stress for him and ruined his childhood, and that hating supernaturals is not only a socially acceptable form of stress relief, but that it's the only valid form of resentment his upbringing has conditioned him to have.

I hope this helped! I do urge you to reread the manga and jump to your own conclusions, though. And who knows? Maybe you'll reach a conclusion you like more than mine!

Idk if I am strong enough to go on a full explanation on why my interest dropped since some chapters, this didn't start on this one, this one was just the last straw. I will just show the most obvious choices that I don't like ( my opinion btw this is just the feeling I have while reading, take this with a BIG grain of salt)

I've been reading tbhk for 4 years and I am tired of waiting for stuff the author litteraly won't do anything about and just stay in their comfort zone

No repercussions on the mcs for some choices they made, no repercussions on wounds/stuff that happened which should have need time to heal for the characters or for them to grow, giving us always the same team up so no room for real character/relationship development beside the obvious (and with how slow Hanako and Nene have been going honestly making the same characters always interact doesn't help at all apparently L O L), BIG difference of pacing for characters growth, making the story take always the same route with the same characters being kidnapped and the same ones doing the savings, putting characters in an arc they have no reason to be part of so just making them stand in the background like a caricature of themselves, making characters 'mysterious' or forgetting their character development just to use them as some sort of deus ex machina, and the worst of all:

Making Nene just a reason for Hanako to react and nothing else. No character development for her, no reason for her to be in some scenes, this is just sad to watch at this point. Aoi had this problem at the beginning of the manga for Akane mostly for comedic reason and they had growth, seeing they are putting Nene in this position after more than 100 chapters and her being the mc is just awful.

I honestly just want more diversity in the choices they are making in their writing, and the last chapter proves me that either it will come in a long time or it never will.

At least the art is pretty, and the worst part is that I KNOW AidaIro knows how use setup, they know how to write really good stuff and good characters, complex stories, and it's GOOD. So seeing this in the recent chapters just makes me even more tired x'))

Once again, my opinion, but the way Nene and Aoi are treated in the manga makes me wanna explode. AidaIro are capable of writing good female characters (thank you Mei and Sumire for being perfect from start to end), Aoi and Nene had wonderful time too, so idk why all of this is happening rn tbh. It's just sad.

Maybe the brainrot will come back, I still love the characters, but I really need to take a break from the fandom anyways (not gonna expand on this but oh boy how annoying a part of the fandom is, a lot of people are the sweetest but a part makes me wanna explode, I've been more than 3 years here and I think that the most I can take at this point)

İ really loved this one like the last one like, oh my god! İt really made me think about Teru's words and the way he would be if he was really reckless with his love

İ loved how Teru basically confessed, how Akane knew exactly how Teru's love was(to an extent) and the overall pacing..

My favourite was def the mirrorings of demon Teru and real Teru, Akane really knows Teru well and knows about how he acts and what he may do. İts really interesting to think about how much Akane knows about him and his selfish tendencies time to time..

To be honest his idea of Teru as a husband changing in the same day is so nice to me as well, Teru's love can be so gentle and sweet if you're in conditions that allow it and i love how Akane realizes that and almost immediately changes his perspective, maybe if Teru was cursed again, he won't think of him as an evil cruel demon

And the 'they have been there for two years' i can go on for HOURS. How Akane doesn't trust it in the slightest once Teru says it, but the more Teru gives those hints, the more Teru explains his behaviour, he believes more and more. At first it was a simple 'no, its the potion' but the more Teru gives those details he never noticed, the more he realizes and even asks Teru personally (of course once Aoi is mentioned, all those details go poof ugh i love my loser boy)

And honestly, Teru saying out all the things he thought inside him outloud to Akane himself really makes me soft inside.. he really was good at working on his words, even to the last scene, he is good with his words and he is good with his movements, he can make Akane believe he hates him in less than a week!

I really also loved your way of portraying Teru's love and how he shows it, it's so pin point to how i imagine it would be. He can be sweet and caring but he can also be forceful and selfish if he can't get what he wants, a detail i always loved about Teru..

And honestly? How sweet Teru is and Akane finally picking up on the hints and the way his strong hatered(?) Gets blocked by the feelings he kept inside and never wanted to let out takes over him a little, his image of Teru changes and hate becomes too strong of a word

İ also enjoy how Akane projects his own way of loving onto Teru, when he thinks of Teru being inlove he immediately thinks of a public confession, a proposal and not whatever he lived, it's such a nice thing i enjoyed im not sure why..

But im still not over the demon Teru and real Teru mirrorings... Maybe Teru won't be as cruel and forceful as a scary demon would be but Akane really was on point for certain aspects... And then it changed once he feels Teru's sweeter side, it makes me think he tries to never misjudge Teru, even in the worst of situations... (🌈) (Sorry i just loved it a lot... Reminds me of the little 'his Akane' in the other fic... A made up persona of Teru in Akane's mind ..)

Overall... Really nice fic... İ love them so much .. i love these silly losers i hope they die /affectionate (sorry if some parts sound off, i tried my hardest to get everything in)

Ahem, anyway, about Nene and the possibility of her becoming supernatural. Lately I've been thinking about this because of the last chapter of ASHK, that second Nene that appeared and everything.

I haven't thought deeply about it yet, I want to form more connections, because I believe so, that Nene will become something much bigger. Kou discovering how to become a supernatural, him trying to talk about it with Nene… hmm… none of that would be in the story for nothing, right?

There is this possibility of the eighth mystery that is mentioned in the opening song (don't rule out the possibility yet), the fact that Hanako doesn't want it doesn't mean it won't happen. Hanako didn't want Nene to leave the painting or for her to stop Aoi from being sacrificed, but it happened.

So her becoming the eighth mystery is STILL a possibility. Always think of several possibilities, never discard those that still have a connection or logic to the main plot.

I'm not going to go into too much detail about the possibility of Nene becoming the eighth mystery because it would have to be in one post, there are many factors that we have to consider and I would leave this answer very long.

Anyway, Nene seems to have an ability, she purifies, this is definitely not an ability of an ordinary human, is it? Teru himself said so.

She is not just any person, she also has the title of Kannagi. It turns out that everything is very mysterious when it comes to her, we know absolutely nothing about her, just that she has this ability and that she is a kannagi.

That's why I haven't done any deeper analysis on Nene yet, we have very little material to draw precise conclusions.

HOWEVER, to directly answer your question, yes, definitely, Nene has a great possibility of becoming a supernatural, she already has ties to one, so she is half supernatural because of the mermaid's curse.

Honestly, I really really believe that Tsukasa actually called for him, and Amane actually listened.

I mean- Think about this;

Yes, Nene called for Hanako, but that was before they both (Tsukasa and Nene) fell down. And while Hanako may have delayed a lil' bit, there is something that make me think that Tsukasa did actually call for Amane..

While they are falling, it appears this;

It's open for many interpretation and possibilities, but I feel like this is to represent that Tsukasa did actually call for Amane, just not out-loud.

I like to think that; In my own point of view, it's like;

It seems to me that Tsukasa did called him from the very deep bottom of his heart. He didn't speak, but he for sure screamed for Amane from the very bottom of his heart.

He wanted Amane to come (he never said he didn't). He said that Amane wouldn't come for him anyway, but that doesn't mean that he didn't want to call for him. It doesn't mean that he didn't want Amane to come.

Tsukasa has been wishing for his brother to come to him for a long time, but Amane never did. And Tsukasa was always alone. So I think that hope slowly faded away.

Although, Amane remains being his older brother, and Tsukasa continues to love him more than anything in the world, so he can't help but let himself spark that hope again, let himself call Amane again, even though he knew it probably wouldn't work, like it never did. But he still took what Nene' said seriously, and so he decided to try it, only one last time.

So imagine his surprise when he sees that it actually worked. That Amane actually came for him.

He looks so shocked, amazed, devasted, surprised; He's feeling alot of emotions at once.

so many emotions that he doesn't even do the ":O" face anymore.

It's an genuine and unexpected surprise. Amane actually came. Amane actually listened. Amane actually-

Gates to Heck Chapter 6

Shigeo didn't bother to explain the blackmail. Joseph was a smart man. He worked for the government. He seemed to understand that Shigeo was ready to blow that secret government agency wide open, if it meant saving his best friend from a life of vigilante justice.

He could do it. If Mezato helped, but he was pretty sure she would.

"Calm down," said Joseph, when he finally answered Shou's phone. "I was already looking for Shiro-san."

"Then why didn't you say that?" asked Shou. He had put his cellphone on speaker so he could make the introductions, which he did with what Shigeo felt was an unnecessary level of formality.

"You're not supposed to make promises to civilians, Shou."

"That's cops, not government assassins, Joe."

Joseph met them at Shou's apartment, where he informed them that one of the in-custody members of Final Dog had identified their missing esper as Shiro-san. Joseph assured them that he had done so willingly.

The informant had described Shiro-san's aura as "kind of ozone-y, but with, like, a hint of mint." Shigeo concentrated hard and extended his psychic scan further than last time. Eventually he found it just beyond city limits.

He still couldn't feel Teru's aura, but it might have simply been too weak.

Shiro-san was northbound, moving faster than the speed limit, which meant he was using his powers to fly. Shigeo couldn't fly that fast without swallowing a lot of bugs.

Shiro-san stopped in a rural area called Furikake Village. Shigeo used side-along teleportation to bring everyone there, and then promptly threw up in a rice paddy.

In addition to Reigen, Ritsu, and Shou, he had used side-along teleportation to bring Joseph from the government. Shigeo needed someone to take Shiro-san into custody while they took care of Teru.

Shigeo had never carried that many people at once. He thought that might also account for his aim, which had not been as accurate as he would have hoped. They were lucky for the rice paddies. Their feet got wet, but Shigeo didn't want to think about what would have happened if he had teleported them into a cow.

It was much easier to sense Shiro-san's aura now. He could sense Teru's aura too, although it was still concerningly faint.

Reigen patted Shigeo on the back, and Shou offered him a handkerchief with only a little Cheeto dust on it. Ritsu backed away a little, clutching reflexively at his hoodie.

Shigeo wiped his mouth and flew in the direction of the two auras. He identified the corresponding figures before he could make out any of their details, and it took him a moment to realize why one of them looked wrong. It was upside down.

Teru was suspended in midair with his face underwater. Shiro-san was holding up his hands, which were glowing ice blue. A matching aura restrained Teru's arms, preventing him from saving himself.

There was a moment where Shigeo wasn't sure who he was. He didn't seem to be himself anymore. His feelings were muted, but in a different way than usual.

His head was full of TV static.

Shigeo fought against it as hard as he could. He couldn't hear anything over the buzz of the static, but he felt his mouth move over familiar words. A familiar name.

The next thing Shigeo knew, he was on the ground, and Teru was in his arms for the second time that day. It was difficult to believe that basketball practice had only been a few hours ago.

Shiro-san was wrapped in an aura of much richer blue than his own. In addition to pinning his arms and legs, Shigeo had apparently gagged him. His muffled protests were still audible.

Shigeo ignored them. He could feel the static start to come back when he looked at Shiro-san for too long.

Teru was coughing up an alarming amount of water, but he didn't seem to require any additional lifesaving measures, which was good, because Shigeo didn't know any. He vowed to learn some. Teru got hurt a lot.

They were both on the ground, but they were up on a bund, so at least it was dry ground. Shigeo unzipped his hoodie and wrapped it around Teru's shoulders, which were shaking too hard for it to be from the cold alone, but Shigeo didn't know how to help with anything else.

The others caught up to him while Teru was still coughing. Ritsu dropped Reigen in the rice paddy before he got a good look at them.

Reigen was asking increasingly high-pitched questions, but Shigeo had gotten pretty good at tuning him out over the years. Something in his mind had just clicked into place.

"Is that the man who showed you how to do that?" he asked. Maybe it wouldn't have made sense to anyone else, but Teru nodded.

"Do what?" asked Reigen. "What did he do? Why are you wet? Was he waterboarding you?"

"Not technically," said Teru. His voice was raw, like he'd been screaming for hours.

Reigen approached Shiro-san and rifled through his jacket with expert fingers. He pulled out a wallet, removed the driver's license, and returned the wallet to Shiro-san's pocket.

He read the license, "Ochinko Manabu. Yeah, I can see why you would want to change that. Well, Ochinko-san, we're going to be handing you over to the government assassin in a moment, but just in case you're considering another jailbreak, I want you to know that you have a Reigen Arataka Special Restraining Order against you now." He pointed a dramatic finger at Teru. "If you come within a thousand kilometers of this boy or attempt to contact him in any way, I will find you. That's only if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, Joseph from the government will find you." He hooked a thumb over his shoulder at Shigeo. "And if you're really unlucky, Mob will find you."

Reigen was just joking, but it gave Shigeo an idea. It was the only thing he could think of that would silence those muffled shouts without giving him a crisis of conscience, and the more of them he heard, the closer the static came. Shigeo wasn't sure what he would do if it took over completely, but he could guess.

Shigeo shifted his body slightly to block Teru's view. Then he turned Shiro-san upside down and held him over the water. The muffled protests became significantly more frantic.

"Nice," said Shou.

"Didn't know you had it in you, Bowl Cut," said Joseph.

"Mob-"

"Shut up, Shishou," said Shigeo.

He lowered Shiro-san until the water was up to his eyebrows.

Shiro-san passed out.

He didn't realize Teru had been peeking over his shoulder until his head dropped onto it, where he hid an only-slightly hysterical giggle in the fabric of Shigeo's gym T-shirt.

Shigeo removed Shiro-san from the water and handed him off to Joseph.

"Aw," said Joseph. He let out a dramatic sigh full of cigarette smoke, then hardened the smoke into cuffs around Shiro-san's wrists and ankles. "Goodbye, Bowl Cut. See you around Kaijin. Shou."

"Bye, Joe!"

Shigeo felt Teru's shoulders tense under his hands.

"You aren't going to try to recruit Hanazawa-kun now, are you?" asked Shigeo.

"Are you kidding?" Joseph took to the air, dragging a weightless Shiro-san by his ankles. "He's clearly under some heavy protection."

He took off and into the night.

"Damn, Mob." Reigen had always made an effort not to swear excessively around Shigeo, but he seemed to have decided these were exceptional circumstances. "I mean, of course I knew you weren't going to kill him, but I really thought you were about to violate the Geneva Conventions for a second there."

"It's not a violation of the Geneva Convention unless it occurs during wartime," said Ritsu.

"I knew that," said Reigen. "I was testing you."

"I was only applying inversion therapy," said Mob. "I thought it would help Ochinko-san calm down. Inversion therapy is very useful for easing stress and reducing the harmful effects of gravity. Onigawara-san told me about it during club last week."

There was another one of those rasping giggles against his shoulder, and Shigeo felt the static finally start to recede.

"Well," said Reigen, apparently without knowing what he was going to say next, because he floundered for a moment before finishing, "he's certainly calmer  now."

Ch 109: Random thoughts (part 2)

Continuing with the court, the last case is...

The amount of cuteness! What a harmless kitty! Does he look like a criminal to you? He is so innocent! He is no criminal! Such innocent face hadn't and won't ever comment one single wrong thing in his life! ♪

Look at him. Little mew mew. That's what I call the guy who is really truthful and says whatever he has in mind. A guy with no secrets as he puts it. ☆ you're keeping some huge facts to yourself still, am I wrong? Should we 'question' them to get an answer?

The 2's reaction though... it's so funny.

Wow. So now it's not only Tsukasa who made some kind of Akane expression but Hanako too.

Tsukasa's words about his assistant...

I wonder if Nene caught any meaning behind it? Her wish stands in sharp contrast with sakura's wish? For sakura's wish to come true, her own wish of living is no more? For her wish of staying alive, sakura's wish is no more?

Would she recall a thing of this sort?

And question her fast made 'wrong' conclusion of their 'talk'.

I will have hope she would. She won't forget it like she forgot Tsukasa is a yorishiro and didn't recall it or thought of the fact one day it will be his turn when he took her to destroy No.1's OR that moment Tsukasa said he needs the yorishiro destroyed for sakura's wish to come true. at least think of your own life span 'wish' Nene.

It feels kind of funny when I see something like 'Tsukasa goes all the way when he works on granting a wish'. That's true but... it's not like what he is doing there is only for her sake. He said a part of the truth but didn't voice it all. That's the catch. He has his 'own' motive out of doing what he has been doing so far.

Speaking a bit further into it, neither Hanako (now or ch 96) nor the keepers (Teru being a Minamoto for that matter, who knows lots of secrets behind the school) paid real attention to sakura being mentioned, unlike No. 6. I wonder if that means she is directly involved with appointing 'him' as a mystery only? Or if she has some kind of past interaction with him or him case in a way since she is aware of his story with Sumire and was the one in charge from behind the scenes of the No.6 yorishiro situation.

It feels the other mysteries don't hold any ties with her ruling over them or whatever or even know her? And having Tsukasa mentioning her, he must have known better than to do that if it will attract unnecessary attention for a one in her 'position'. Hmm....

This thing... uhhh... this boy... this boy... this boy... he gives me lots of work. ♡ 3-2-1... let's go...

Have to say... Tsukasa's deal with the clock had me laughing a lot... it feels like he hates it... or even... it feels more like despise really. He wants the clock to be blown to smithereens. Wooh! Maybe since it gave both him and especially Amane a hard time.

Come to think of it, we can make the picture a bit wider...

We can start with a yorishiro destruction, leading to a brilliant boundary 'falling apart' wonder if he is curious to see what will happen once he is destroyed with Hanako's boundary

Moving to a destruction of a clock...

So while Amane was trying to fix the clock he was thinking: how would it look when it's destroyed into tiny pieces? Showing that almighty face? ♡ ........

Now I have to say some nice writing decision it was to have Tsu going to see the ruins of the clock. ♪

Look who's pleased with the outcome. Happy for you my dear. You got to see a thing you've been waiting to see for so long. And, got rid of a thing you despise. ~ Enjoy your victory. ☆ Hmm, is it safe to assume he went for kaku first to git rid of his ability of turning back time? He doesnt want things to be undone. Meaning, he wants things just the way they are now with the clock (or kaku's power of turning back time is annoying in general). I wonder what would come of the students and the people around the school then

Following that line of thought, I can understand Tsukasa in this issue but...

The thing I wonder about now with Tsu-clock relationship, is apparently his want to have Nene using it to time travel. Why did he tell her about the usage of the clock when he wanted it destoryed even since back then? What did he want to accomplish in there? Nothing was shown to be done on that regard. And... I think he really might not actually care much to use the clock to have Nene time travel, he has the nowhere space under his command and already used it to make Nene do so. So... the clock is not really needed! Expanding the image a little bit... the 'clock' keepers...

Perhaps he has a thing against them themselves. I wonder what they may have done to get him to feel that way...

Seriously, Amane's whole deal with the clock (and maybe 'deal' with the keepers themselves?) is ....... I still can't get rid of what Tsu said to Nene about the future and past blending together in that festival. So... what if Amane got to actually 'do' something, resulting in what Tsukasa talked about, yet the keepers 'kaku' turned back time anyway and made whatever he did go to waste? Or maybe something across these lines... something serious happened back in time, right?

Hmm......

Then a school...

The world itself.

What a force he is. ♡

It makes sense. He despises this unfair word and sees it not needed, so whatever factor to keep it up and support it is equally unworthy, unneeded.

A world that holds people back from doing what they want and to be who they are with its unfair rules is better off broken. Especially, when it's a matter of a person who means the world itself to him.

"It's said the annihilation of a civilization is as brilliant as fireworks"

In this case a world let's say. Hmm, who loves fireworks? I hope he'll be getting the fireworks he must be waiting to see. ~ if we were to assume the world will get 'destroyed' in the literal meaning creating such a 'view'.

Speaking of Tsukasa's wants to do/see things... this arc has some nice stuff included...

He fantasized about creating an artificial human ever since he was a child and got to see it as 12 y.o Tsu even before creating it, and granted created him in the future as yorishiro Tsukasa. Same goes for the clock, 12 y.o was interested to see it destroyed and granted got that as yorishiro Tsu. I wonder if back in the time he was still 12 y.o Tsukasa he also got to see/know the clock will be broken in the future some way or another like he came to see Mit 2.0 (let's take the glimpses of the future he told Nene about as a possibility). Maybe it was yorishiro Tsukasa instead who knew the clock will be destroyed in the near future...? This boy has some further knowledge into things so I like to keep that in mind. ☆

I do wonder if he has any other things he looks forward to in mind. Amaze me, Tsu. ~

Ahem, back to the 'court'...

So, the keepers made the judgment of having Tsukasa to be 'guilty'. For real? Only Tsukasa is guilty? What a funny court, what an idiotic court. Why aren't they so smart? Seriously, I was hoping to see the keepers much smarter than this! Like, just simply, the 4 guys in there, NONE of them actually made the action of breaking the clock, yet... the guy who did it is... apparently not guilty, nor the one who led Tsukasa and the guy to do it in the first place. What a joke of a court. So, the table turning on them at the end is a well-deserved result. Kinda funny, it felt as if the whole 'order in court' and the court itself... was never 'ruled' by them at all but actually 'him'. He left things go by assumingly as they want but he was just waiting for the moment to turn the table upside down. How sly of him. He is truly something, huh? No wonder he was having fun at the start of the chapter. What a force he is.~

Their suggestions feel to represent some stuff, actually... Akane.. 'feeding'. Just imagining how powerful these owls would get out of it. XD

Kaku... well...

WOW, Tsukasa! Do you plan to put Kaku to use somehow? lol wonder if kaku regretted his last words like no. 3

Cool to see this thing referenced once more in a way. I'm so weak to this sly smirk Tsuuu!!! The confident gaze!!! Uhh!!!

Wonder how was Amane feeling in there. I mean, sheesh. I wonder if he himself wanted to go wild on the keepers. Seriously? You don't know who you're saying you want to feed to the owls or turn into a gear or turn to dust. That's his moon and yorishiro mind you. How dare you say such things and intend to harm his precious prize possession.

My, cool Tsu is something to get me... she came to him by herself. Now, I think that's what I call one great mastermind, 'ruler' and the master of his 'games'. He played with them all and made them his puppets, that's so funny. He targeted their clock, yorishiro, then them from the start. ♪ He already had things figured out, everything was held in the balm of his hand. ☆

I mean, I have to say I've been wondering how will he take things after ch 108, but here we are.

Depending on Tsukasa's words after taking Kaku down, I have to say he proved his nimbleness, and being one intelligent strategist. ☆

It sees he had 'targeting the keepers' in mind for some time, and was waiting to take action, and little Mirai gave him the opening he needed. ☆

I wonder when that came to his mind, after singing with Nene, he wanted to go back to searching and was annoyed with Mirai's tickings. He got captured, then assumingly had to get 'free' with Nene's help and later Hanako's. Here I will stop, was he acting all along to be 'weak' by any chance?

Let's see... Mirai's 'seal' doesn't hold anything on him, it's either it doesn't affect him at all or it did, yet he can break free whenever he wants but 'decided' to look weak. So, he was acting or pretending to be vulnerable. Was he testing if Amane would come to save him by any chance? Was he going to actually save himself and Nene if that didn't happen? He let Hanako get captured just like that so his plan will succeed wizard Tsu vibes I'm telling you, what a mischievous lil bro. hehe oh... if he let Hanako get captured too so it would look like a small game of you didn't free me so I didn't help you. we're alike in the situation! pffft. what a fun soul

He can use Kokujoudai, and can master his OP strength. What a lie you told Nene Tsu. It can still be the truth, at that moment he was under the effect of the seal for real, but in the court he simply broke free. Anyway, some slyness lies in there. Even Nene is not supposed to know he is not actually 'weak'. How careful. He doesn't show anything to you, unpredictable. Always this way with his plans. The inside of his head. ~~~~ So Tsukasa, huh? ♡ ~

Now I know why. You amazing boy, you only give up limited access into what's inside of your head. No one gets you better than yourself. Me and myself.~~~

Cause you're not smart enough to catch up with his level of smartness. Try harder to understand him and how his mind works you self-proclaimed I read minds girl. ~ I will have to give him an extra point if what she said has a sense of truth and even with such powers, she can't read into him. Admirable. ☆

Going back to the chapter... I'm laughing Hanako really didn't need to set Tsukasa free. He can take care of it himself. Even without his sly move of making little Mirai move the time of his handcuffs forward. He will get what he wants, whenever he wants, however he wants. ♪

Hmm, he is admirable. Fascinating. Who doesn't love a mind like his, or a smile like his? Or even some strong gaze like his? We have a guy so capable and full of himself right there. Love his fast way of acting and dazzling confidence! Easy on me, Tsu! ♡ ♡ ♡ speaking of his physical speed again, I will have to remind myself he still had that thing around his ankle. and that by itself is...

Uhh, fangs... his sweet sweet fangs... sly smirk... boy!!! ♡ goodness, past + present Tsu will seriously have me spinning around myself. Hey! Don't look like you're working together to me! I can't survive one, how about 2?!

Thinking that Yako is a foxie... between her and Tsu... who is the real fox? ♪ it's funny thinking the fox took her down first, now.

Funny, Tsu showed me all the animals I associate him with in one chapter. first a cat, then a fox and later a powerful unmerciful tiger never to be underestimated or messed with. Wow. ☆

Hmm, he still kept his words of 'gentle with girls' huh? Even though she wasn't 'gentle' with him now or even back then, he didn't harm her really. Just had koku hold her. Wonder if that will keep up once he turns his focus to look for the yorishiro in her.

As for Kako, I dooo wonder if he previously intended to start with him, moving time back will be annoying. And, just maybe... a payment for embarrassing and making jokes of big bro earlier? Or again... is there a chance Tsukasa despised not only the clock but the keepers on a personal level in the past (and now)? Hmm...

Hanako's shout to Tsu to stop, I wonder if it was out of his fear for Tsu's well-being and safety or actually the other way around, he somehow saw what happened with No.3 coming and shouted at him to stop. He knows how powerful Tsu is, right? Looking at it either way is cool, one he sees Tsu powerful, the other he is concerned about the safety of his precious Tsu. ♪

Tsu being 'impossible to control'... I find that chaaaarming about him! He is free-willed! A force moving his own way, thinks his own way, sees things his own way, follows his own beliefs and works things out his way. Truely Fascinating. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

However, I will have to say I used to believe if there is a person Tsukasa will listen to, it will be Amane. that's how the story made me think, chapter 108 too, and the magic AU kinda. 'wonder what's the inside of a ghost is like/wizard' Tsu -I saw him a lot in Tsu this chapter!- was a force no one stood a chance against until Amane called him and he acted like a good little boy I had it in me Amane can tame him… but… it seems it's to a certain degree, too. When Tsukasa wants a thing for real, he won't back down even if Amane told him to stop? Hmm… I find that charming, too. And it's still cute when he listens to Amane… uh… both ways are nice! ♡ ♡ ♡

You're WOW! ♡ What a lovely curious mind you have. ~

So, was the ticking Tsu heard coming out of little Mirai's clock only or also her 'inside' as well? Kako seems to have these 'tick tock', and back in their first arc, wherever Mirai goes there is also ticking. Do they also 'tick tock' with their clocks? Never expected the keepers to be this kind of creatures. Hmm... wonder if they work like robots and can get fixed? I see Tsu might have interest in there? Some experiments? They feel similar to artificial humans in a way? But maybe he won't be too interested?

The ending!

I wonder if Tsukasa is referring here to Akane or little Mirai? Akane was naturally standing near Tsu and it seems he is looking at Tsu but Tsu is looking ahead of him (not at Akane who is beside him), perhaps at captured Mirai? Hmm...

It's worth mentioning it looks like he went for the first clock keeper in charge aka kaku, then following this pattern, he'll go for the second keeper aka: Mirai. Then the third aka Akane.

I see she has a potential of having the yorishiro within her.

So, I wonder together with Tsu what's the inside of Mirai is like!

As for Akane... will he try stopping time? Instead of holding his clock he is holding the little hammer? Won't work on him, Akane. You saw that. Unless little hammer has other uses beside that seal or attacking? Does he intend to free Teru? He is the one who sealed him. I wonder if he can free Hanako too, since he wasn't the one to seal him, but rather Mirai.

Teru... to think a meeting between him and Tsukasa was so waited by the fandom... what was his reaction to seeing Tsukasa just going that way before his eyes? His definition of 'Evil spirit' shins in there. Mr. Teru??? How are things going by you? I think he may seem far more dangerous to you than Hanako you're chasing? Now, if Teru knew Tsu is Hanako's yorishrio... I assume that won't be good news for hanako, for many reasons...

I wonder if AidaIro intend to have something go on between the 2? Now or on later stages. They never paid much attention to each other this chapter, beside the time Tsukasa commented on Teru.

I do wonder how the next chapter will 'play' out, will they have a some kind of fight with Tsu? Hmm... maybe things will take a whole different turn for Akane and the rest, maybe Tsukasa as well. Anything can happen. ..........

Just having the possibility of 'the yorishiro might also not be within any of the 3' is funny. You might need to come up with a second back up plan Tsu. Will that be the case?

If things came to an end with the past and future keepers gone... and the yorishiro got destroyed... I wonder what would come of Akane's 'contract' with them. Will he be free? Return to be a normal human with no supernatural abilities? Will he feel happy to finally be free? I mean he showed he was tricked into working for No.1 and was furious about the fact. I wonder how he'll react, especially when things might come to his promise of healing Aoi's hand, as a normal person he really can do nothing I think? Hmm... his feelings might be contradictory somehow... ..........

My mind even decided to have the thought of 'what if we can repair the keepers'. Thinking about Mit 2.0, he can regenerate by eating weak supernatural representing the way he is made. The keepers seem to be like 'robots'? If their pieces were to be replaced or put back efficiently together somehow, would that bring them back in shape? or even, what if kaku was smart and careful enough to previously put a replacement in his place? I need to see the keepers being a threat. I want to see how much of a force they are. While I do want to see Tsukasa having his victory, it will be fun to see him overcomig a few hurdles.

Hmm... anyway! The conclusion we got out of the chapter simply is...!

At the end, the court was his to rule and master. ~~~

Hmm, well... after all he is the guy named...

Tsukasa.

What a lovely name fitting for him. A perfect match for a perfect guy. He makes me so proud of him. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

To conclude my thoughts that I have had about the jshk character for a long time, the last character is Kou. It's possible that I will make an addition because the manga is not finished. I can finally express the thoughts I currently have for him.

I thought that if he gets closer to Amane he will start to understand something, but no, all I see is a boy who wants to defend the girl he developed a crush on. No wonder Kou is so good with daikon on the team, they are both the same,except that Kou tries and wants to understand and takes too much on his shoulders. These efforts are visible in him, but it still doesn't explain how he behaves and the way he disappointed me. Kou actually sees Amane, as shown in the red house. So he's furious and ready to kill anyone if he doesn't get rid of him, but he still hasn't decided what he wants because he doesn't want to accept it, because can see that Amane is different and not like his brother and grandmother said, but honestly? He deceives himself with promises. You see him this way. The red house shows sincere desires and thoughts, so let him finally stop deceiving himself and pretending to be good and a prince on a white horse, because it simply does not work for him. I know that only he can see Amane and that he doesn't think Amane is evil, but the way he sees it confuses him. The feeling that Amane is evil is greater. He was willing to break his promise to Amane to become stronger and he had no problem with that because, as he said, he wanted to be stronger when he decided when Amane would kick out. He considers himself the "god" of his life and decides. He's just a pathetic jerk, he doesn't know what he wants and is completely lost, but he wants to become stronger in the future if he wants to get rid of Amane. This is a pathetic, stupid and naive approach. Sure, Kou is too weak to defeat Amana now, but he should stop playing the good friend, maybe he sees good in him, but they wouldn't mind getting rid of him. He didn't blame the daikon for what had happened, but mainly himself. Sure, who would blame the princess who has the right to everything and Amane is just her dog on a leash, which she leads because she doesn't deserve an apology because he had to fulfill a wish for which she is responsible. But it is not important. It's important to side with this weak, always whining, crying, short-tempered daikon who always does something that she thinks Amane is always more responsible for than she actually is, and make her the eternal victim. Accepting Teru's offer to train him means killing indiscriminately, and he quickly backtracked on his opinion when he desperately tried to save Mitsuba, who wanted to die. And in disbelief, he did everything he could to help him. He did it because he loved him, sure, but it just shows that Kou is a jerk and a worthless friend. It didn't bother him that Mitsuba 2.0 might hurt a student out of hunger, but it did bother him that Hanako was doing it for the life of his dearest senpai. I really don't expect much from him, but at least he would be honest with himself and admit that he sees Amane's evil and good at the same time for him, instead of playing the role of a good friend because in reality he is only a friend of the daikon and no one else. I completely understood Amane how much he counted on Kou and was disappointed with him. Kou talks and shouts a lot, his words are great, but his actions are poor and pathetic. Do absolutely nothing to show. I thought he would be the minamoto who would start to see the supernatural differently, but no. He acts almost like Teru, in fact over the past two years he's been starting to remind me more and more of teru.

I understand why teru kept him away from the supernatural. He is completely useless if he doesn't organize his thoughts and decisions, he is terribly confused between how he feels towards Amane and he should stop denying that he doesn't see an evil spirit in him and stop pretending to be good and a prince on a white horse. It won't make everyone happy. His naive thinking like this is what destroys him the most, but I still feel very dissapointed for him because he was willing to break his promise, and the only thing that stopped him was Mitsuba. He couldn't get rid of it. I'm still not sure if he will train or not, but he failed his first mission. He should stop really pretending to be nice to Amane and finally be honest with himself, because it just makes him pathetic. I won't feel sorry for him when he's ready to break his promises, and his feelings for Hanako are not completely sincere, he doesn't know how he feels towards him and he considers himself to be his god of Amane's life, it's up to him to decide when to get rid of him. Come on, man. I really don't care that he's disappointed with Amane. Amane was disappointed with him too, so it's 1:1.

For me Kou should stop fooling themselves. The fact that he sees the good in Amane won't change how Kou saw Amane's illusion on the roof when Teru was trying to get rid of Amane , what he said in red house, Which means the illusion that appeared in the red house in front of Kou shows how Kou really sees Amane and Kou never really trusted him either, and what he's trying to do is just play the good guy and friend to Hanako, get stronger, and get rid of Amane whenever he wants, forgetting that he's failing all the time. He should stay as far away from Amane as possible and be as close to his senpai as possible. He and his senpai really are a good team.Being like his 'teru-nii-chan' doesn't work

I really feel sorry for Amane because he surrounds herself with people like that. He doesn't deserve it.

Chapter 4: Mokke.

Amane and Tsukasa came home after their first day of school, Tsukasa had a hopeful look on his face "Hey, Amane. was the rumor true?" He asked his older twin brother.

"No" Amane lied as he hung his bag up, Tsukasa hang his bag beside Amane. Tsukasa had a disappointed look on his face, and it made Amane feel terrible about lying.

Tsukasa started making some afternoon tea for himself, a sandwich. Amane remembered how Hanako had shown him the old abandoned garden, and told him she wanted him to fix up the old garden near the old building and he couldn't say no because she did save him from the mermaid and turn him back into a human.

Amane sighed as he dig up the dead roots from flowers and vegetables that have been long dead since the garden was abandoned. "do you know why the gardening club is no more, Hanako-San?" Amane had asked her.

she had a sour expression at the question, "N-no…" he could tell it was a lie, but he knew it must be a sore topic if she reacted that way. he bit back his words, not wanting to lose the only friend he had other than Sakura and Tsukasa. he had lied Tsukasa and told him he was studying alone, and Tsukasa had believe him, and left to meet up with Sakura and Natsuhiko.

Amane put some small holes in the garden's soil, as he placed some the seeds that Hanako gave him into the holes. he smooth the soil over the holes, and walked over to get the watering can. he left to fill it up at a tap, he notice Sakura and Tsukasa nearby. Sakura rolled her eyes at Natsuhiko did something stupid. Tsukasa and Natsuhiko started playfully arguing, Sakura sighed as she cross her arm.

he quickly ran off before they could notice him at the water tap. he ran over to the old building's garden. he water the ground where the seed were "Maybe when the flowers bloom I can give some too Tsukasa and Sakura-Chan" Amane said out loud with a smile on his face.

"what about Natsuhiko-Senpai and Teru-Senpai?" Hanako ask as she sat down on the old worn down bench.

Amane sighed "I'm Embarrassed about the incident from yesterday, so no flowers for Minamoto-Senpai. and I haven't… gotten close to Natsuhiko-Senpai yet" he admitted, as he rub the back of his head while blushing in embarrassment.

after he was done with the garden, he went to class. "Amane-San" as he opened the door, Akane the class representative walked over to him. the class was still a bit empty since the bell for last period had only just started. "why are you dirty?" he asked as he grab Amane's shirt. there was dirt on his shirt and cheek.

"when i was coming back to class I tripped on the ground" he lied, he had actually got dirty in the garden.

Akane sighed "be more careful, Okay?" he reminded him, Amane nodded his head. Amane's eyes widen when Akane offered him a cloth to clean his cheek.

"thanks Akane-Kun" he smile, as he took the cloth from Akane, he wondered if he should have been more formal and refer to him with his last name instead of first name. but Akane didn't seem to care to much, so Amane force himself to not overthink about it.

Akane sat down at his own desk, Amane sat down his desk that was beside his twin brother Tsukasa. he rub the dirt from his cheek, and try to get as much dirt out of his shirt before class. "Amane!" Tsukasa yelled out as he ran over to Amane as soon as he got to class. he sat down beside his older brother.

"Hey, Tsukasa. how was lunch?" he asked his brother.

Tsukasa smile "Airhead-Senpai made a total fool of himself in front of Sakura-Chan yet again. and he keeps calling me a kid" he pouted at the end.

Amane laugh, and Tsukasa rolled his eyes.

Fuji walked over to the Yugi twins desks, Tsukasa looked up thinking he was there to speak with him since when their classmates come to their desk its to talk to Tsukasa. "Hey, Fuji-Kun" He smile.

"uh, hey Tsukasa. can i speak with Amane?" he asked Tsukasa.

Tsukasa's eyes widen, but then he nodded. "Fuji-Kun wants to speak with you, Amane!" he told Amane with a smile on his face.

"we're friends right, Amane?" he asked Amane, he smile while he pointed at himself.

Amane eyes widen "Su- Yeah! I mean Yeah we're friends!" he blush while he shuttered, he was shock. 'my first friend… that isn't Sakura-Chan.'.

"meet me at the classroom at dusk. I have some papers I'll need to organize for the student council, and having you there as company will actually make it enjoyable" he told Amane.

Tsukasa noticed Amane's smile, Amane quickly nodded his head "I'll be there, Fuji-Kun!" he told Fuji. Fuji smile and walked away.

"Tsukasa. you'll tell mum and Sakura-Chan that I'll be home late, won't you? I won't let this chance past me" he grabbed his little brother's hands together as he smile

Tsukasa wasn't used to this side of Amane, but he smile "Of course, Amane."

Amane walked into the classroom at the right time, the papers were on the desk but there was Fuji. he sat down and started organizing the papers for the student council, having the benefit of the doubt that Fuji will come. but as he watch the clock turn, he realize he got stood up by Fuji.

this wasn't the first time something like this happened. the students in middle school would use people pleasing to get him to do their homework. but it still hard none the less, Amane rubbed his eyes as he cries. he took in a shaky breath, as he rubbed the tears from his eyes. he remembered what the book said, to do a small a favor. he thought that maybe if he keeps doing this for Fuji. Fuji will come around and see him as an actual friend.

he finished organizing the papers for the student council, he went home once he was finished. when he open the door, Tsukasa got Amane's dinner out of the microwave for him. "How was the hang out with Fuji-Kun to organize papers?" Tsukasa ask with a smile, seeing his hopeful eyes, he couldn't bring himself to tell Tsukasa what Fuji had done.

he force a smile on his face "it was fun. i told him about my interest in Astronomy as well" Amane lied, Tsukasa handed the plate to Amane.

Amane sat down, and ate his dinner. a bored expression on his face, but then he remembered the time in the library with Hanako. he blush while smiling 'that was nice, i was so happy.'

he has been working for Hanako for a week after school ends, in the old garden. he sighed, as he rubbed the sweat from his forehead as the sun was on him as he plant some more seeds in the garden. Fuji had asked him to help with papers again "Hanako-San can I have the day off?" he asked Hanako.

"Nope" she smile, she was squatting while looking at the seeds that have started growing. she smile as she poke the sprout. "why did you even want a day off? i thought you said you have nothing to do after school?" She asked him as she stood up.

he glance away nervously "well it's to hang out with a friend" he admitted.

"you have other friends?" she asked him, as she tilted her in confusion.

Amane started shifting on his feet, he smile "Fuji-Kun wants me to help him with some papers" he told her, as he goes to take off his gardening gloves.

"and how is that any different than helping me with the garden?" she asked him.

Amane crossed his arms "you don't do anything" he told her bluntly.

"Does Fuji-Kun do anything?" Amane's eyes widen at Hanako's question.

he glance down, "it fine right. if i do small favours he'll want to be my friend for real, right?" he asked Hanako.

"ah, Jeez. he's just using you Amane. small favours are fine, but he's getting you to do a bunch of work because he's too lazy to do it and knows you'll do it" she told him.

Amane glanced up at her "you've probably fallen for those tricks, when you were alive huh?" he asked her, as he glanced at her.

"I did." she laugh bitterly. "that's why I know this hoping for change will make it hurt even more" she told him, he nodded his head in understanding.

he sat down, as he lead his head into his knees. "I knew it wouldn't change. I already had experience in middle school but i still wanted to hope…" he held back tears.

"Anyway i treat you must better don't i?" Hanako had a smile on her face, as she lay on her head top of his head, her hand hanging down his shoulders.

he rolled his eyes "You make me stay outside in the heat and dirt… I rather stay in the classroom by myself" he told her.

she pouted as she float away, he was still sitting there. thinking he had won, he was about to get up to leave until he heard the sound of water hitting the ground. Hanako had the hose and was moving closer to Amane. "FINE!" he yelled out as he jumped up and out of the way of the water. "I'LL DO THE GARDENING!" he yelled out.

she turned off the hose and smiled.

. . . Amane and Tsukasa were sitting together, "Ah" he gasped, as he touch his shirt where his tie should be but it wasn't there "My tie is gone!" he told Tsukasa, worried.

"you didn't leave it at home again, did you? Tsukasa asked, he looked at Amane "you use to sometimes forget it at home in middle school" he reminded his older twin brother.

Amane shook his head "no, i know i put it on this morning!" he replied, he looked under his desk but still he couldn't see his tie anywhere.

"Amane" Tsukasa lead his shoulder against Amane's shoulder, Amane turned to face him confused by his younger twin brother action. "Look around, have you notice that a lot of people are losing their stuff as of late?" he asked with a smile on his face.

Amane was about to open his mouth to speak, but then his teacher spoke up "Amane-San! read the first paragraph on page 15" he told him, and then he glance at Tsukasa "please stop bothering your brother, unless you want me to separate you both" he warned Tsukasa.

he stood up as he though about what Tsukasa said, their teacher cleared his throat "oh um-" Amane looked down to grab the book to read. his eyes widen when he noticed that the book and his other school equipment was gone from his desk. "huh?" he said confused.

"Maybe… the fairies showed up!" Tsukasa smiled as he lead against Amane again, Amane gave Tsukasa a look that told him to quiet his voice down a bit.

Amane usually wasn't interested much in the supernatural, but since he was now a assistant of an supernatural he guess it was only natural to show interest in the supernatural. he glance up at his younger twin brother with curious eyes "Fairies?" he asked.

"haven't you heard? everybody's been talking about them lately?" Tsukasa asked, Amane glance down he hadn't heard a thing about these fairies. was he really that unpopular that he didn't know the main talk of the school. or was it because he was busy with helping Hanako-San with the abandoned garden at the old building.

"the fairies have you ever lost something you were keeping a close eye on? or had something that was always there vanish right when you needed it? has that happened to you? then you have been a victim of the fairies. but you must never look upon them because if you do…" Tsukasa was telling him the rumor as he creepily moves his fingers. Amane glance down at his tie, and realize that must have been what Tsukasa wanted to talk about before the teacher interrupt them. "… they will even take your life" he finishes the rumor.

Amane was about to react in fear, but then he thought this was most likely a rumor. why would there be a random supernatural that steals and kills people at the school.

Tsukasa wave his hand "but it just rumors you know. the Hanako-San wasn't true right meaning this one is unlikely to be true as well" he smile.

Amane sweat nervously as he remembered that he lied to Tsukasa about Hanako, and how if Hanako was real that means these rumors have a high chance of being true as well. "are you scared, Amane?" Tsukasa smirked.

When they younger, Tsukasa would get Sakura to tell him all about rumors so he could use them to scare Amane. and surely enough they used to scare them, but then afterwhile he got used to Tsukasa's hyper fixation on rumors and the supernatural that developed over time. going from something stupid to scare Amane to something that Tsukasa is overly interested in. much like Amane's love for Astronomy well more specifically his interest in the moon and going to the moon.

"I'm not scared, Tsukasa" Amene lied, he hoped this one was merely a rumor. but it wouldn't hurt to ask Hanako about this, but then he realize must already know since she had a Hakujoudai following him around since he left the garden.

Tsukasa smile widely "your such a terrible liar Amane, You-" he was laughing but then they went silent when they heard the other students complaining about their items going missing.

"Amane, wait!" he yelled out, as Amane ran out of the classroom. Tsukasa ran after his brother, he was going to run to the garden until he heard a commotion coming from the lockers.

the locker doors were gone "the locker doors are all gone!!" one of the students yelled out. "who would do that?"

"i don't know! i just looked up, and this is what i saw!" another student, a girl yelled back.

Amane gasped, as he move his hand up as he sweat nervously. 'I was hoping it was a coincidence but the locker doors also going missing, is too much. so it's really a supernatural's doing isn't there. I must find Hanako-San' she thought.

he was about to walk out of the crowd, Tsukasa went to go after him but the crowd was pushing and shoving Tsukasa around. in the struggle, someone cause Tsukasa to fall to the ground. "Tsukasa!" Amane yelled out, as he push through the always increasing crowd.

"Amane" Tsukasa smile, Amane kneel down as he starts to help his younger twin brother to his feet.

someone trip over Tsukasa, causing them to stumble and drop a open water bottle on Amane's head "hey, watch where you going!" Tsukasa yelled out to the guy.

"you shouldn't just be standing there in the middle of a moving crowd." the guy argued back, pushing Tsukasa back a little.

Tsukasa glared at him "just standing there. my brother was helping me since I got push over" he declared, as he crossed his arm.

"what brother?" the guy ask, now genuinely confused.

Tsukasa rolled his eyes "don't act like you didn't see him" Tsukasa turned around with a smile on his face ready to prove the guy wrong, reaching his hand out toward Amane. Amane was no where to be seen, Tsukasa smile turned into a frown as his arm lowered "Amane…"

"sorry, I'll get out of your way" Tsukasa bowed his head and force himself through the crowd. he glance around to see if he could see his brother out or in the crowd. but his brother, Amane seem to be nowhere in the hall.

Amane ran until he was no longer in eye sight of the other students, he ended up running all the way to the old building so there was no possible way for anyone to see him. scales were already growing on his skin from the cursed he shared with Hanako. 'your a terrible liar…' he remembered Tsukasa's words.

and a frown formed on his face, as he glanced down. he felt a pain in his chest, he hated lying to his younger brother. Tsukasa has always been there for him through his life, when Amane had fallen terribly Ill. Tsukasa stayed by his side, even missing special events and after school activities to keep Amane company. and how does he pay him back? by lying and running off.

'should I tell Tsukasa about Hanako-San…' he thought, he decided he will. he started to walk back but then Hakujoudai hit him in the head which reminded him that he still had those scales. 'I need to find something to dry off these scales… but there isn't anything here i can us…'

he noticed a convenient placed towel behind him, he grabbed the towel a he starts drying him to dry the scales dropping on him off. "a clean towel! yes! sorry to whoever dropped this, but I'm gonna borrow it" he said out loud like the owner could hear him.

then he saw someone's lunch box, he realize someone was looking for something like this before. and then he saw Hanitaro, 'isn't this Akane-Kun's, i should return this and the other stuff I've found…' he smile. "Of course it wasn't a spirit, why would it be. I can tell Tsukasa that-" he was saying, but he smile when he saw his tie on the ground with his book.

"My notebook, textbook and tie!" he yelled out, and then he laugh "I told you I didn't leave it behind at home, Tsukasa"

Amane ignored the Hakujoudai pulling at his short hair. he walk around a corner "why is everything gathered here, this is weird…" he pulled the door open "this some kind of prank taken to far…" he was saying, but then he saw a weird eye from inside the reference room.

"shit" he yelled out, as he jumped back and fell onto the ground. "so the rumors they were…" he gasped, more eyes appeared.

hands started to grab on his leg, he was to scared to move or try to escape from them. "You saw me"

his eyes flashed before his eyes, and he looked upon the fairies and remembered what Tsukasa has told him about this supernatural's rumor. 'I'm sorry for not spending much time with you Sakura-Chan, I'm sorry for lying Tsukasa, I'm sorry for not giving you a chance Airhead-Senpai… Hanako-San…'

'I don't want to die yet! I still need to go to the moon, I told Tsuchigomori-Sensei i would do it…'

he cowered in fear of the supernatural, he was stupid for not realizing it was a trap set up by the fairies. he remembered how his father told him to live a happy life, tears slip down his face 'I'm sorry I can't do that… Dad'

"chop them down, Hakujoudai!" he heard a familiar voice yell out, Hakujoudai flew toward where the supernatural and Amane were. it crash right into the supernatural, splitting it apart. "You're easily drawn to the supernatural, aren't you Amane?" Amane eyes widen as he looked up at Hanako with tearful eyes, his hands still on his head.

Hanako walked over to him, "You really need to be careful, you know" she says, Amane eyes widen when sees some bunny like creatures Infront of him. "these guys are Mokke. currently known as 'fairies' they're supernaturals that have been with humans since ancient times. performing small acts of theft and other mischief." she was explaining to him, as she place her hands on his shoulders.

"they look a lot different than they did a few minutes ago." he says as his eyes sparkle while he pokes at a Mokke.

Amane wondered why would supernaturals who are close to humans, would try to kill humans if they look at them. wouldn't there be a lot of cases if a bunch of students died at this school. "Mokke are weak, timid supernaturals. so when they attack, they have to get together like that and change form. which is exactly why they're not usually a type of supernatural that would attack people, but…" Hanako was explaining to him, if that's the case something horrible must have happened for them to suddenly attack people.

"we didn't want to kill her. but our story got changed" "we had no choice."

Amane eyes widen at the mention of story 'do they mean the rumors that Sakura-Chan and Tsukasa are always telling me about. I know Tsukasa didn't know about the rumors before Sakura-Chan' his eyes widen, as he starts to breath quickly 'could Sakura-Chan be the one who…'

"you're thinking are the stories, the rumors?" Hanako ask him as she smile. "then yes you would be correct"

she cleared her throat "I should probably tell you about the rumors right?" she laugh nervously. "most supernaturals can't go against their rumors. because any supernatural that does something out of sync with its rumors will eventually disappear from the near shore" she explained to him.

"disappear…" he voice out loud, The Mokke were enjoying themself as they ate candy from a bag. one of them was handing a candy to him.

he looked up when Hanako started speaking to him "Amane. would you change the Mokke rumors for us?" she asked him.

Amane was confuse as he tilted his head "change the rumors?"

"I am one of this school's seven mysteries. it is my duty to supervise all the supernaturals in this school and maintain proper relationships between us and the humans. I can't let dangerous supernatural killers stay here. i have no choice but to exterminate them. but you Amane, are human. you can help them by changing the rumors" Hanako explained to him.

Amane glance at the Mokke, they walked over to him. some of them carrying candy with them by using their ears like hands.

"please." "we're sorry about before." "we'll give you candy." "we've lived happily here for hundreds of years." "we want to stay." "we'll give you candy."

Hanako spoke up "I know i already asked… but they did almost kill you. so if you don't want to, we won't push it…"

"Sure!"

Amane held the bunnies in a hug, close to his chest as he smile "I'll do it. I'll change the rumors!" he agreed.

"… You're sure?" she asked, shock he agreed so easily to the request. she wondered if their was a special reason on why.

his eyes soften "yeah. these little Mokke guys, they remind me…"

"of the stories of the bunny on the moon!" he smile.

she stood there, shock by his reasoning. "that's all? even this came back to your interest in astronomy"

"Me and Tsukasa always wanted a bunny. and we're going to get one but then our father died… we never brought it up again." he admitted, as he hugs one of the Mokke.

Hanako gasp "that took a dark turn…"

"and they did scare me… but then you saved me, Hanako-San. I really thought i was going to die, I was ready to accept that fate. but then you came to my recuse just like with the mermaid thing before. thank You, Hanako-San" Amane smile "sure I don't really like gardening, but it not as boring as i thought it would be. and i really do appreciate what're done for me."

Hanako was silent after Amane's gratitude, she begun to walk up the stairs as Amane follow him. "Oh! I might be wrong but… Is this the important job you said you had for me when i was done with the garden?" he asked her.

"Yeah. but i wasn't planning to ask until even later" she admitted.

he smile "I knew it!" and he look at her curiously "does that mean I'm no longer working on the garden?" he asked her.

"Nope" she replied.

they walked onto the roof "do you really hate the garden so much. I think that better than what you originally thought i was going to ask you do" she smile.

"oh the toilets. that would have been so much worse" he made a fake gagging sound.

she laugh "I know right. who would want to cleaning the toilets. scrubbing them, and a bunch of other gross stuff. at least you have more choices when it comes to the garden" she says softly.

Amane stop in his footstep, this garden seems to mean a lot to Hanako. but I cant figure out why, did she use to be in the gardening club. if she was does that mean her real name would be in the gardening club records, would they still have those thought considering the gardening club has been shut down for years. or maybe that friend she and the mermaid mention use to be apart of the gardening club. would that be why she has a gardening shear as a weapon.

"I always look forward to hanging out with you in the garden" Hanako admitted, which brought him out of his thoughts.

his eyes widen, he wasn't used to someone enjoying his company and looking forward to seeing him. sure their was Tsukasa and Sakura, but this felt different. he blush, as a smile form on his lips "why?" he asked her.

"it quite boring without friends isn't it?" she asked him, but before he could answer she spoke up which made him realize it was a rhetorical question. "I was lonely until you came around. At first i didn't think much of you since you aren't my type at all…"

those words 'you aren't my type at all' felt like a stab to his chest. he grab his chest, as he gasp and took a step forward. "but even if we don't have the same interest, we were able to talk about our interest and talk like we've known each other for ages. "we get to hang out after school. I miss doing that with her… and we always talk about whatever, without worrying about the other person's reaction. it's like having a friend… and I guess in a way, it takes me back" she smile, as she place up at the sky, as if remembering about something.

his eyes widen, he was shock. he wasn't used to someone viewing him like that. that made him realize how stupid it was to wish for friendship with Fuji when he was clearly trying to use him like his old bullies in middle school. at least they didn't have the gut to pretend to be his friend. he was trying to hard for Fuji when Hanako was here. they talk about everything together, bicker and taunt each other like friends, help each other.

"Hanako-Chan" he says as he step forward and grabbed ahold of the back of her middle school's uniform. "that's what I'll call you, that way…" he smile as he stood beside her, both of them holding onto the rail. "it's more like we're friends, right?" he asked her.

her eyes widen, as she was silent for a moment taking everything in and then she smile. "have you decided on a new rumor?" she asked him.

"yup!"

he walked toward the students who've lost their things. he had a pile of candy in his hand, he usually struggle to talk to people since he overthinks about what to say. but right now he knows what to say, and he was motivated to help the Mokke. he can't let his social anxiety hold him down forever. he force a smile on his face "here." he says.

"Candy?" one of them asked, as they pick up a candy from his hands.

he nodded his head "I heard it helps to carry one around in case you run into a faerie. then they won't kill you, and they'll stop taking your things" he told them the new rumor, he thinks the past experiences have been given him a pinch of courage, but only a pinch.

"huh" "I had no idea"

he sighed in relief that they agreed so easily to the new rumor, he stood there in awkward silence. "I-I have to go now!" he yelled out while his face is red.

they watched him run toward the door "it is your club- but I heard Tsukasa say his brother isn't in a club" one of the girl was asking, but then the other girl spoke up over her. 'Tsukasa…'

"umm…" he stopped in his tracks, and then he turned around and was still a flustered mess "I'm going to see a friend, I guess?" he replied, but it was more like a question rather than a answer.

he ran out of the castle room and down the stairs, the girls looked out of the window as they see him running from inside. he was running toward the old building's garden. "to see a friend…"

"at the abandoned garden?"

someone was walking, until a Mokke walked right into their foot. "Hey. Pip-squeaks. you know a Hanako?" he asked them, but then he accidentally scared them away. "Ah! hey!" he tried to stop them.

"I guess I'll have to find her myself. this will be easy!" he declared. he got up onto the stair's rail "Just you wait, Hanako! I'm on my way to exorcise you!!" he yelled out, in a proud and overconfident tone.

he laughs, with his Exorcist weapon in his hand. but right now it was hidden as a umbrella as he laugh like a mad man.

Also, I'd like to request Teru (my aromantic ass only likes him in a romantic?/simp way) with an s/o who seems to be a perfect student and all in school and literally has a clean reputation( kinda a people pleaser?). Like Teru thinks they won't do anything wrong BUT they actually know quite a few martial arts and enjoy sparring/ fighting. Maybe someone like Ty Lee from Atla (Avatar the last airbender), like they are quite acrobatic and can chi block (yk how she can stop a user from bending and can even immobilize limbs like how she does to Sokka). Overall they are just badass and can kick ass, but no one expects it (they hide it quite well).

Students praise you for your nice personality, Teachers absolutely loved you too. You were always participating in class, get high marks, never got into trouble at all, not only that, you join events and bring home 1st places for the school.

You were absolutely GORGEOUS, despite that he loved talking to you as you had many topics to talk about to him, he gets so mesmerized with your voice he sometimes forgets what you two are talking about.

Teru was informed that delinquents frequently trespass into the school in the afternoon where no people are around anymore to graffiti or mess up the classrooms. The school has called the police on them a bunch of times already yet they couldn't catch them.

"Of course they couldn't catch them.. They take absolutely way to long to get here..." Teru mumbled as he quickened his pace to where they usually break in and hang out.

Once he got to the spot, he heard alot of commotion, things being thrown and alot of shouting. Sounds like they were fighting, or fighting someone in there.

He feared that they may have abducted a student and threatened them to do whatever they want. So he rushed to open the door and saw—

You.

He saw how you absolutely kicked their asses, and apprehended them tying their hands down. He saw a side of you that absolutely shocked and surprised him

You felt someone watching as you looked up, tensing when you saw your boyfriends face.

"T-Teru.." You stuttered, you backed away from tying up the unconscious delinquents when you saw how Teru furrowed his eyesbrows walking up to them.

Standing close to the wall, panicking. You were thinking that he may think of you differently now after this incident.

'What if he leaves me.. What if he tells everyone that I am.. Capable of such a thing.. I can't let anyone know about this..' You panicked. You felt a hand on you shoulder as you looked up

"Teru.. P-please I can explain!—" Teru pulled you into a tight hug, as you clumsily returned it. "Teru?.."

"I'm.. Glad that nothing happened to you.. I was so worried when I saw you fighting them.." He hugged you tighter kissing your head. "[F/N].. Dear.. When have you.. learned to do this?.."

Your eyes slowly darted down to your shoes. "I was picked on alot back then, and I hated it. I begged my parents to enroll me in taekwondo or karate, martial arts. Just to defend myself, I planned on telling you that I was capable of doing this back then.. But you had such an.. Adoring image of me.. So I kept it to myself.. I never told anyone. All of you had one idea of me.. "

You looked up at him tears swelled up in your eyes. "All of you only knew me as the Perfect, Straight A Council Student who couldn't possibly be capable of something like this.." Teru hugged you tight. "I never knew.. I was too ignorant.."

After Teru and You dragged all the delinquents out, he immediately called the police and staffs to handle this situation

"I've been having a hard time learning martial arts lately" He spoked as you listened while eating your ice cream. He smiled looking at you

"Be my Sensei and teach me hm?" He gave you one of his signature smiles that absolutely clenched your heart

"T-teru.. You're making it hard for me to say no.."
