10. Zebra Boy a stylish and flowy zebra print shirt with basic white slacks and talay’s signature white bag. this one is so silly but cool i had to include it. i actually am obsessed with both of the white & black print shirts tess owns but the other one is mostly worn my ohm in the series so i didn’t inlude it here (ep 2 when tess/talay goes to pester tun at the café). also i just like this scene a lot and couldn’t get over the “secret lover” -line. 

9. Reunion Blues a simple navy blue dress shirt and light colored pants plus talay’s round glasses. listen: am not a big fan of talay’s clothes in his own universe even if he looks adorable in them, but this one! this one is a legend. straight up iconic. he looks so pretty in dark blue and then we have this whole scene and ugh. just pure insanity. 

8. Goodbyes taste bitter an orange and white striped shirt and black jeans. am so obsessed with the v-neck of this shirt, it’s crazy. i don’t blame puen at all for instantly going like, “oh yes, that’s my bf now” bc honestly? very understandable. talay just looks so good in this shirt, holy hell. continues on the road of, “why must you dress up so nicely when the occasion is breaking my heart?” i guess these two are similar like that. 

7. Let us kiss again a red-blue-white striped sweater with red pants. i love this color combo on talay so much. blue and red just suit him. the shirt is also tight fitting and it’s amusing to see puen Struggling bc of it. man is not able to keep his hands off. it’s very understandable but pls sir, calm down. you’ve known each other like two weeks. and you still haven’t even told talay that you’re not kissing him just bc but bc you’re head over heels in love with him. get a grip. 

6. First Kiss a simple white sweatshirt and red/fucsia pants. i don’t want to say this but i have to say this: talay’s ass looks amazing in these pants. like, am not one to stare but oh boy. it’s right there! stealing the show! and then it’s combined with talay’s sexy wet hair after running through the rain to look for his long lost lover friend who he wants to make up with. Literally. bc they’re kissing by the end of this. and i scream. 

5. The Green Sweater a yellow-green sweater combined with white pants. talay looks adorable in this with his guitar and the sweater paws. am not at all surprised that puen looks close to tears bc bitch, me too. it’s just So Soft and then it’s mixed with the guitar (+ the lotus flower) and talay singing a love song and. i want to hug him so bad, puen get out of the way it’s my turn now. 

4. The Wedding Suit a light pink colored suit, apparently without a shirt underneath. this whole thing began with this suit. as i said, this one is 100% outshining the one puen wears in this scene. i am just in love with this suit; the color, the simplicity, the cut, the way talay wears it so casually. he looks amazing and positively ethereal. puen is marrying him on the spot. talay is thinking it’s a joke but i might just tell him it’s not. get a ring and be done with it, would you. this might sound controversial after me saying puen is rushing things with the kisses but i don’t actually have anything against it.  

3. Loneliness is yellow a simple black sweatshirt with bright yellow pants. i feel like the more heartbreaking the scenes get, the better talay gets dressed. he’s always serving looks when am crying on my floor. i don’t mind tho bc why not have several mental breakdowns at the same time, saves me the time. he looks absolutely glorious in that black shirt, and the colored pants are a wonderful touch. if tess got nothing else, at least he's had the sense to buy all these clothes.

2. The Gray Jacket a textured gray jacket with a black shirt and white pants. the texture on this jacket makes me go wild bc it looks so nice to touch and the whole jacket looks so cozy. am wondering how talay can wear that with the heat but that’s fortunately something that doesn’t get to me through my screen. he looks very huggable once again. he looks positively radiant when he smiles. and it’s just a plus that puen looks so gone for him bc yeah, valid. am in love with this sunshine boy too.

Second chance a gray sweater with red details, combined with red pants. honestly talay’s best outfit in this whole show hands down. every time i start this ep, i am just blown away by this outfit. the styling team was going crazy that day. the shirt has a v-neck, the red details work so well, it fits talay nicely, the rolled sleeves, the delicate bag. the pants are tight fitting and make his legs look extra long and slim. especially in that billiard room lighting he just looks insanely pretty. i want to yell into the void. the void might yell back at me. 

Bonus: Striped Bathrobe a black and white striped robe, worn mostly for breakfast. i am not really sure what to call this but a bathrobe felt like the closest fitting one so i went with it. it’s crazy how this is literally the second outfit puen ever sees talay in if we don’t count talay being half naked. he got absolutely bewitched and talay is not even bothered. this striped robe is what truly mattered. and please let’s not talk about ai’dang.

Clementine - Joel Miller x F!Reader

A/n: ahhhhh my first Joel fic!!!!

"Hey, how come Joel calls you clementine?" You were walking Ellie to school. 

The three of you had settled down in Jackson after Joel had saved Ellie. 

"Hmm, he hasn't told you that story yet?" You reply while holding your hand above your brow blocking the sun from your eyes, "well it's a really funny story, but I won't tell you about it until you get back from school," you smirk down at her. 

"Aw, come on, man! I wanna know, please. If you tell me right now, I'll do your dishes for weeks," Ellie pleads with you.

You think for a moment. "Tempting, but no, you will just have to wait until dinner tonight. That is when I'll tell you the story of why Joel calls me clementine. Besides, we're already here at your school, now go on before you get in trouble for being late….again," you kiss the top of Ellie's head and watch as she follows the other kids into the school. 

You smile at the memory of why Joel calls you that name. Hell, he hasn't used your real name in years, always using the name of the citrus fruit instead. 

The use of clementine had started nearly a decade prior, back at the Boston QZ. 

Finally, you were able to sneak back into the QZ. It was a hard day's work but you managed to get a good enough haul that would bring you in a decent amount of ration cards and keep the FEDRA off your back especially if you bring in fresh fruit just like you have been for the past few years. clementines and strawberries. The only 2 fruits you were able to grow. 

You were so close making it back until you bumped into a man and woman both a good bit older than you, the gray in their hair making you sure they were older. 

"I-" you squeaked out before the man had you pinned against the wall, gun pressed against your temple. 

"Who the fuck are you and where the fuck did you come from?" He yelled in your face, spit landed on your cheek. 

"I-I um, I have a garden on the other side of the wall, FEDRA looks the other way if I give them twenty-five percent of my haul!" You said as you tried to raise your hands. 

"Don't fuckin' move!" The man said as he pulls your backpack off of you, tossing it to the woman, "if we find out you are lyin' I'm gonna kill you," he threatens.

After some ruffling through your backpack and clementines and strawberries scattered. 

"She's telling the truth," the woman glared at you, "how long have you been doing this?" 

"Only a f-few months, I found some clementine trees and a nearby patch of strawberries," you stuttered out as the man still holds you tight, "I-I-if you let me join you, I can get you ration cards,"

"We don't need yer help," he replied, finally pulling the gun away from your head and holstering it once again. 

"Now, wait, Joel, we could use her, we didn't know about the fresh fruit nearby. She could be useful." 

That is how you met Joel and Tess and helped them around the QZ with their smuggling. You were the reason Bill and Frank had strawberries

"Wait, so you're telling me that Joel held you at gunpoint?" Ellie looks at him shocked, "not fucking cool man!" 

"In his defense, he did think I was moving in on his already claimed territory," you laugh, placing a hand on top of his as you sip your coffee. 

"I still can't believe you were able to find such a delicious score," Ellie says as she finishes up her plate, taking it over to the sink. 

You follow her and gently place your plate in the sink. 

"I think I'm gonna go enjoy the air in the backyard, Ellie feel free to join me after you finish the dishes," you say gently hugging her. 

You walk out the backdoor and go to sit on the porch swing Joel installed. 

"I can't believe you told her that story," Joel says as he sits next to you with a hand on your waist as you admire your new clementine tree. A smile graces your face as he places a kiss on the top of your head. He gently places his free hand on your pregnant belly. 

"Yeah, well, she was curious as to why you always called me clementine." You say as you lean your head on his shoulder.

I swear, if Joel comes along with a “I was thinking of you the whole time!” I am actually going to push him off a building or something lmao!

I am very curious to see what happens next! Especially with you saying it’s going to get worse… I don’t think Joel is really realising something is wrong rn and the reader seemed very resigned at the end there which scares me a bit! I definitely wouldn’t blame her for ending things with him rn or even leaving her job or something like that. (I would absolutely not be okay or willing to watch my boy-something have sex with another woman, even if it’s for porn. Like nope, I’m outta here! Even though he was so sweet in the first chapter, he’s being real stupid right now. With Tess I feel like it was different because nothing happened between them yet. They definitely should’ve talked properly after the time they spend together. Especially with the reader being kinda inexperienced/a bit innocent and definitely insecure, I feel like it should’ve been obvious that watching him with another woman after everything probably wouldn’t have been the greatest thing for her. Joel being a bit of an oblivious idiot haha! And I also felt for her when she was just kinda downgraded to getting coffee and then pushed aside for Cheryl. And then also, Joel “using” her to get hard and then get sucked off by another woman?!! Just man, poor girl. Overall, it’s a very unfortunate situation that definitely hit her deeply and I can see her spiralling now. I’m so glad to read that they will have a happy ending and I’m excited to see how exactly that will happen! I remember reading the first part when it first came out and I think it’s really cool you’re continuing it!)

gonna put this under a cut bc it's a little long:

in the moment after the porn scene ended he probably doesn't understand that something's wrong, but he is not oblivious. you bring up a very good and interesting point tho, which is what drew me to the whole fic in the first place, or at least the continuation of it: would you be okay with your boyfriend fucking someone else? even if it was for work?

i also think it's especially interesting in the time period it's set where women are being liberated, but there is still so much misogyny. sex is taboo but it's also in everything we sell. you're supposed to be sexy but not a whore, and if you're not sexual you're a prude, right? then suddenly she's welcomed into this world where the attitude towards it are much more relaxed (and maybe it's a little liberating?), and that's what's normal for joel, but it's definitely not for her. she's carrying a lot of guilt and shame, and that's not easy to shake.

joel is older and more experienced, but he also said he doesn't seek out sex outside work. i'm sure this is all confusing to him as well. they have this already established professional relationship– which she kinda hammers down on. so how do you navigate that? especially since it's so fresh. their new relationship not even a week old. are we giving them too much credit thinking they're brave enough to have the 'what are we' conversation yet?

tlou hbo s1 ep2 thoughts (w/ spoilers)

the opener for this ep was honestly scarier than the first imo, seeing the woman inspect the dead body and find all the signs of infected were SO creepy, and then the slow dawning of fear in her throughout the scene, the quickness with which she both proposed bombing the city and accepted her death. such a good building of suspense throughout

and then also the way her bomb suggestion was a lead into the later conversation with joel tess and ellie about how the cities were bombed. i love that we don’t actually know if jakarta was bombed or not, the idea that everyone came to the same conclusion without following from example is even more harrowing of a reality

ellie all curled up in the grass comfy and asleep i would kill for her i would die for her i want to hold her in my hands and protect her from the world

“fine i’ll just throw a fuckin sandwich at them” I LOVE THIS GODDAMN KID

joel and ellie’s back and forth throughout the ep is so fun i think it does such a good job of setting up their chemistry without getting them to connect to early

the little giraffe toy in the weeds :’(((

tess basically immediately adopting ellie im obsessed. i love that we get to see a bit more of their dynamic than the game bc it really highlights that tess is a good person at heart even if she says otherwise. she connects with ellie quickly, and the way her empathy and hope slowly starts shining through as the ep progresses (and even as she begins to accept her fate) really says so much about her character

the foreshadowing of ellie guessing at the infected types is awesome, i love the fact that she technically got them both right. related but i wonder how they’re gonna do infected types like the shamblers if spores aren’t gonna be a thing

THE HOTEL SCENE IS TOO EARLY i wonder if they’re gonna have a hotel basement scene now?? probably not which kinda makes sense, it’s a scene better played than watched. but it would’ve been cool to see how they did it

love the expansion of the fungus lore, the interconnected-ness of the tendrils is so cool and so goddamn creepy

the entire clicker sequence was SO GODDAMN GOOD. the way tess and joel don’t tell ellie (or the audience) anything about what’s going on really forces us to put ourselves in ellie’s shoes so that we’re as terrified as her. and the fact that there doesn’t need to be a word of dialogue said to get us to figure out how the clickers work is so goddamn impressive, a shining example of ‘show don’t tell’ i think

am sad that no bricks or bottles were thrown tho

the rooftop scene. i could cry with how faithful this show is

the change in dialogue at the capital building,, “i never asked you for anything… not to feel the way i felt…” i am in so much pain.

on that note it’s scenes like these that really make me love this show bc there really is something for everyone. connecting back to the infected lore from earlier was so fucking cool and felt like such a natural change and the changes to tess’s dialogue make the scene so fresh and still impactful for people that already know the game

i love the specific line “save who you can save” because i feel like it does the perfect job of emphasizing how much tess buys into the cure while also setting the stage for joel’s decision down the road. like at the end of the game, joel really does save who he can save, it just isn’t in the way tess intended. it’s a way for him to still hear her words and connect with them but also have the intention twisted

okay bear with me but i actually liked the inclusion of the cordyceps kiss, it takes something that is so normal and even beautiful to us but then perverts it like that’s textbook horror baby!

New year, new me! ... Or at least continuing to try and build a me I like progressively more and more. Today's step? Starting to kill the part of me that fears being cringe by posting my @comicaurora self insert OCs even tho they're super self indulgent and occasionally lore-breaking (sometime because I misread/misremembered something from the lore page; sometimes because I use them in RPs and I like watching Erin lose his shit over something that makes no sense to him :P )

One of my earlier ones. Metalcaste because y'know. Wanting to be a cool metal lady like Tess. Ended up making an AU of the og version because the og version leaves Zuurith immediately after being released from prison and ended up being @nogenderonlyvoid's self insert's bodyguard. I wrote a ficlet that involved Icarus turning down Shrike's offer to take them to breakfast their first full day outside of prison, but Icarus turned her down and left Zuurith all together instead. Of course eventually I started wondering what if she took Shrike up on her offer and that's when the second version happened.

Can you tell I have a thing for wind-fire-lightning as a tri-element combo? :P

Oh hey, this one cursed out Caliban to his face. And for once we didn't do a wind-fire-lighting combo! Progress! Expanding to new horizons! :P

This one was a wind mage until I remembered that younger races don't do elemental magic. So she ended up obsessed with lacrima instead. Frequently mistaken for a freshman his entire time at the academy. Great way for me to vent my frustrations over how people responded to my baby face in college! May or may not have a starmetal dagger in their boot.

I keep doing AUs of this one. OG version was "adopted" alongside Tess and had to hide her full-leopard form because Galen was scared of it. Then did a version where The Ruunasers only knew about the leopard form and kept her as a pet until Falst enters the mix. And more recent AU has been "Snowspot" running away from the Ruunasers shortly before Tess sparks and running into Falst and chilling with him. Ruunaser twins (Erin and @nogenderonlyvoid's oc) don't find Falst's shifter buddy is Snowspot until Petrichor

Ah yes, nothing makes a possessed elemental magus trust you more than slapping a sealing cuff and ropes on him while he's passed out from fending off a primordial void dragon! In the Junior Champion's defense, they were badly injured from the battle and wanted to make sure the Void Dragon couldn't run away with his vessel while she trying to clean and bandage her wounds. Wrote a ficlet for this one that takes place shortly after he loses his status and his arm. Got to project my obsession with looking at the moon at night.

What do you guys think about dragonwatch?

I read the whole series of fablehaven and then of course I turned to dragonwatch (still didn't finish the 5th book, I don't have the motivation xd) but this series much less appealed to me. I have the impression that she has lost her magic and has become much more childish despite sometimes raising topics that can be presented as serious, such as PTSD, the loss of a loved one, and so on.

Every book is less and less serious and I ask myslef if it is because Brandon Mull went more into kids books in the recent years.

Can we also talk like some characters didn't got any character development from fablehaven (like Tanu tho I still haven't read the 5th book), some were totally destroyed (Warren. Warren. And Warren. He was such a cool character with great sarcasm, and now he's just playing the clown with a humour for preschoolers.) and some were new and were written so badly so it's impossible for you to like them (Knox and Tess).

FINALLY BACK WITH MORE FOOD FOR THOUGHTS! Cause I read that very smutty ask lmao.

Okay, but imagine. Tessa and Bumblebee being the older siblings.

Like, the dynamic?? Tessa and Bumblebee being siblings is cool already. But them being the two older siblings and collectively aggreing they'll terrorize mess their younger siblings?? Gold. And at the same time, their overprotectiveness for those kids are beyond that of even their parents. Sure, Optimus can be scarily glancing at you, and Cade would have fire ready in his mouth. But Tessa and Bee is somehow the scarier when combined.

Bee would mess with his siblings by luring them into a race, and he'd obviously win everytime because, duh. The kids get sulky because they got baited. And Tessa is no better because she has that alien gun she constantly outsmarts them and they just know they can never win in an argument against their big sister (Tessa probably enjoys using her big sister privilege card way too often.)

"As the older sister..."

"I'm five times taller than you."

"...You two are obligated to hear my wisdom."

Tessa and Bee loves to spoil them with attention and love. But if anyone ever messes with them, big sis Tess and big bro Bee will obliterate those who dare touch em make sure none of their little siblings get bullied. They love them because they really are family, and Tessa likely has always wanted a sibling but never got one. So the news of her father carrying children (although scared the living shit out of her because 'Robots can do that!??' and the horrid realization that her dads basically did the mandatory deed one point that knocked Cade pregnant, which damn Cade you have a lot of explaining to do.) Got her all excited because she's finally gotten herself another addition to her weird family.

Also imagine a scene of Tess scolding her siblings and its just two bots with a Bee bending down in forgiveness to a human that's so small in comparison.

And yeah, I think those kids are some of the most protected sparklings in the universe. One of their dads is a PRIME, the other is a beastformer. They have two VERY protective siblings, and a whole list of Autobots crew that is going to pummel anyone who dares to even touch them lmao.

Once the shock wears off and a couple of cybertronian biology lessons later. She had to comes to terms that Cybertronians can reproduce regardless of genders. Two they lay eggs. Three she’s going to be a big sister to her robot half siblings. She always wanted to have siblings. But still the robot half siblings are going to be weird as hell.

Honestly Tessa and Bee would be such the best older siblings ever for those kids honestly.

Especially Tessa I can see her spoiling the shit out of her baby sibs-

Unfortunately because how long cybertronian life spans are, unfortunately Tessa would pretty much would not live long enough to see them grow into maturity…but she would take care of them when they’re sparklings tho. But Tess would make lots of videos of herself and the sparkling time on earth. That way when they get older and want to remember their big sis again. They can just watch the videos.

Optimus teaching them to be very gentle to humans. Despite being babies at this point they are still primes meaning that they stronger than they look.

Also I have the idea that Cade and Optimus’s sparklings (Like bayverse Sparklings are feral as hell) They’re docile, playful and friendly those babs are still a lil dangerous due to their sizes and strength that they have. Like I imagine them just play fighting somewhere in the barn or outside. While one of their parents or caretakers watches them over.

Especially Optimus, he’s extremely overprotective them. Not only these are his and Cade’s offspring but also because these are the next generation of the cybertronian race plus…they’re Primes. They are just like him, descendants of the dynasty of primes, destined to rule cybertron…unfortunately that will never happen due to the War. Unlike Sentinel, Optimus refuses to allow his children to follow in his footsteps. He wants them to choose their own paths in life, never burden with the pain that he went through.

Like homebot was literally overprotective of Cade when he was carrying. Like he refuses to leave Cade’s side cause he’s afraid of losing him and their offspring. It’s understandable why he was so over protective of them. He lost so much in his long life his friends, his soldiers and people that he considered once family (Sentinel and Megatron).

But often he tries his best to teach them the culture and history of the cybertronian race. To make sure that they know their species’s lost culture and not to forget their identity as cybertronians.

Cade is also protective of his babies too. He was literally put on fucking maturity leave when the Autobots were told that Cade was carrying. Cade actually began to make chew toys for this offsprin. Deadass will maul anyone who tries to hurt his damn kids. Also he’s going to make that they are raised right.

Ambulon had to monitor Cade and the Egg’s health to ensure that they were safe.

Also I made a brief descriptions of the unholy Yeager Program spawns-

Samuel Yeager- A timid sparkling who’s weary around others. He often runs to his creators when he feels nervous and is clingy as hell like literally he will not let go of you. But is pretty much a smart cookie and stays close to his sibling. He was named after Sam in honor of his memory. Optimus was the one who named him. In terms of appearance he’s like mini Opt but with green optics and have beast attributes, but is a truckformer like his sire.

Ophelia Yeager- She is the opposite of Samuel in terms of personalities. She’s a fucking puppy. The most social and energetic of the duo, she’s often seen playing with her brother. She loves to explore new places and gets into places where she shouldn’t be. She’s also a lil trouble maker too by playing too rough and stuff but like her sibling she’s smart too. Appearances wise she’s literally a robot baby dragon with blue eyes and a mix of her creators color schemes. She was literally hatched as a whole ass baby dragon with wings. She has a humanoid altmode but doesn’t have a good grasp of how to transform.

I’m doing this in order of elimination for the contestants, at least how much I remember it

Oliver: eh? I don’t know really. I feel bad for him but he’s kinda in the background to me personally

Karol: I liked her, she was an interesting character. I liked the whole soft spot for animals she has and I wish they did more with her. I want her to make up with Aiden cause I still feel bad that he unwillingly betrayed her trust

Kai: he’s great, I liked his whole vibe but I didn’t really care for him. I like that he’s in the forest vibing with Maggy, that’s nice

Connor: father figure character, i love him. I really liked his relationship with Riya and how he stood up to Yul like a parent would

Maggy: she was a nice character, I liked her. She punched Yul so that was an instant favorite moment

Yul: hate him /pos he’s both annoying and iconic in a way. Still hate him tho

Now the characters that aren’t voted out yet

Aiden: BEST CHARACTER I LOVE HIM SK MUCH

I really like Aiden, he is gender and he’s fun

James: slimy but cool :] he’s redeeming himself which is good, and he poisoned Yul so that’s a plus

Lake: I love her so much she deserves so much more than her terrible parents :(

Rosa María: i love her but they haven’t done much with her character story wise outside of Riya and lake. She still awesome and I love her so much

Riya: she’s great, I loved her relationship with Connor and I wish they used her more in the story

Hunter: he’s okay, but he has an ego. Why does he assume every girl that interacts with him likes him romantically?? /lh. He’s okay, but that’s really it

Ally: gamer girl :] she’s fun and she’s a really nice character, i like her

Tess: she’s okay, but I mainly just feel bad for her. She’s kinda the same boat as Hunter, but I like her more

Kristal: I both hate her and feel bad for her

Marcus and Nina: Nina scares me and I adore her meanwhile Marcus is just there. Also he threatened Aiden at one point so >:(

I really love how they handled Joel and Tess in the show thus far, the characterisation of both has been incredible and I hope we get more flashbacks of Tess bc I remember losing her so early in the game was crushing and it'd be cool if we got more of her even tho she's gone :") Seeing her befriend Frank was probably the sweetest thing i've ever seen and it added so much to those characters,, I think it'd be cool if over time as Joel and Ellie get closer and more comfortable we get to see them open up to each other more and talk about Tess and Riley,,

The Grishaverse is super cool, so I’d definitely love to live in there and test out my Grisha powers/see the world. And I love the cast of TID and TLH so Victorian/Edwardian Shadowhunters England would be cool to look into (even tho I’d die in like 5 min from a demon attack 💀)

📙: What’s your favorite genre to read, and do you have any recommendations within that genre?

For the past months or so, I’ve been in a big Romance phase and I’m currently reading Dating Dr. Dil. It’s been so surreal as an Indian woman to read spicy scenes where the girl is someone who looks like me, wears glasses, nerdy af, etc. I’m used to not being the main character, the nerdy sidekick, and it’s so refreshing to see that. If you’re looking for some more diversity (plus the smut is pretty good lol), I recommend it!
