Fenton Ethics and Test Tube Babies

In order to get the funding they need for their Ghost stuff, Jack and Maddie Fenton had to do some... rather illegal things when they left college.

One of them was testing alien DNA and seeing if it was compatible with human DNA.

However getting their hands on Superman's DNA or any of the main Leaguers would be far to hard for two up coming scientists and would run the risk of them being caught. Instead they set their sights on some of the younger aliens.

Such as Starfire, or rather Koriand'r.

They manage to get their hands on her DNA, and also her boyfriend (Nightwing) at the time and began to test it. They felt unsure with what they're doing but they needed the funding and in order to make themself feel better with what they're doing they decided if they were test her DNA with someone she was seeing it would be... better for their own conscience (it doesn't make what they're doing okay but they think so)

Eventually they succeeded in the testing! A baby can be made between a human and a alien.

HOWEVER because we know how the Fenton's get, they kind of go ahead of what they were only meant to do, which was just to TEST the compatibility of the DNA. Basically the paper's before the test phase.

With them getting tunnel vision on this project... They create said baby.

Then before they could show off that creating a new baby via test tubes actually works, they were told that the paperwork they were working on were going to be given to a new team, thank you for your work, here is the money for your ghost stuff, and have a good day.

The people who hired them then just leave.... Without knowing about the newly made baby.

Jack and Maddie name the baby Jasmine.

A few years later when little Jazz asks for a sibling... Well they bring out the old test tubes and papers.

And even though Starfire is no longer dating Nightwing, her new partner Red Hood would make a wonderful male donor for their future kid.

How tiny would the second set of sparklings be after Overlord?

Very tiny and delicate as they're really premature. Their saving grace was that their forms were nearly settled and had begun the bulking phase.

Nickel was able to drop them inside an incubator, so their bodies could stabilize more and hopefully get more weight on them. And had a screaming match with some 'con medical personnel. She stole joints and sliced cabling since she's at the perfect height for knees and ankles before kicking people out.

It's unfortunate that the Decepticons don't have a blacksmith that's experienced with neonatal care, but there's a Prion medic and Camien nurse from Order the Luminara that made some plans.

Because the three are itsy-bitsy, they wear onsies for better thermoregulation. They're either sleeping or eating as they have severely limited reserves.

Tarn has upgraded to perch since all three can curl into the nook between his neck and collarfare, which is far easy to keep track of them since all three can fit in his palm and still have room to squirm around. The split-sparks are grumpy because that was their favorite spot, and they got kicked out to his chassis.

Nurse is grumpy because of the healing process, and the lack of biolights on their armature means Tarn's cozier to all the sparklings' senses.

Okey first of all thank you all that found my art and became deranged in the tags lol I'm so happy this idea is vibing with so many people.

And I have so many ideas you don't even know that play around certain q!Jaiden's behavior that it might be better if I answered them with drawings on very especific questions, english is a bit hard for me and dont know how to write consistent word rumbles

But mainly I wanted to play around the idea of Cucurucho's and Jaiden's relationship, centered as a nanny/caretaker and daughter found family dynamic! And that every headcanon that Jaiden has about Cucurucho is actually fragments of her memory slipping (she and Cucurucho absolutely ate mild spicy food as a snack)

The way Cabby thought that she and Test Tube were friends and also getting really close (“Our partnership, our friendship, our—” What was going to come after that third “our…”) breaks my heart like. No I don’t think Cabby has that much experience with making friends. Yes I do think she assumed they must be close based on information she had on Test Tube being compatible with her personality, as well as the big leap of faith she took by giving Test Tube free reign over her files. Yes I think that she thought she was completely in the wrong at the time of her exit interview because of that— she chose to build trust with Test Tube because of what she has recorded about her past behaviour, and Test Tube did something Cabby believed to be incongruent with that recorded information. If on reviewing that information she came to the conclusion that nothing in there explained Test Tube’s betrayal and their personalities should have worked well together in theory, the only remaining conjecture becomes her being wrong somehow. That— at the very least— there is something inherent to her that would make Test Tube want to do something like that when she has no history of such a thing. And not knowing precisely what that is is what hurt her the most.

See that was the thing that always confused me about kon. I hear "he's a clone of Superman and lex Luthor" and I'm like??? How can you be a clone of two people?? I was always under the impression that it was 50/50 and they just call him a clone so that ppl don't think he's lex and Clark's love child. Your explanation makes so much more sense the whole time I was like "we'll if he's a clone then so am I (I was conceived using ivf")

HAHA yeah no its that geoff doesnt know what the word clone means. when kon was originally created he was actually a fully human clone of some random dude named paul westfield, who was heavily genetically edited to be as much like superman as possible + given a metagene (ttk) to emulate superman's powers. later iterations of him in his solo simplified this into him being just a clone of superman with a bit of human dna in there as a ~stabilizing agent~ of sorts. then geoff came along like hold my beer im about to make everything so much more stupid. and the rest is history
